Sorry to hear this MN. I also seem to think was the second scenario - (I think that because I seem to remember thinking it was lucky I hadn't managed to get back to work part-time from maternity when I got made redundant). Some employers might do it differently I suppose. If that is the case, does that not then mean that you could theoretically go back full-time now in anticipation of being made redundant and then getting the full-time rate.
