    Torn

I wrote this about 6 months back, and included it in my TTC journal a while ago, but thought i'd post it here - it was written not long after our second cancelled IUI cycle

A journey of a million miles
    Trapped within a heart
    My feet can not move
But i've been to hell and back
    I've smiled
    I've bled
    I've wept
    Endured pain and humiliation
    I've felt such joy
    So much sorrow
Been on the brink of insanity
A viscious cycle that keeps repeating
Sapping me of all my strength
I long for the day our journey ends

Oh BG, that is so beautiful. I hope it helps you, and also others who are also on the same journey as you. I know that your destination will be well worth it when you get there and I am hoping that it is just around the next corner for you.

how cool is this? i submitted this poem to a poetry site - and they want to publish it in a book of poetry! PLUS they asked me to submit another poem to be printed in another book - saying that the strength in it showed that it would be appropriate for the book they're printing...

i checked it out completely (including an indepth conversation with the friend that got me onto the site) - and there is no obligation to pay out anything - it's just a showcase thing.... i'm stoked!

but yes, it will cost me a few dollars - i'll buy a copy of the book when it's released!
