I need the need to give
But to give
I need to learn to receive.

I need to have communication
But to be on the same wave
He must tune in to me.

I need to have support
But to feel it fully
He needs to sound the positives.

I need to feel respected
But to feel it
He needs to show it frequently.

I need him to be proud of me
But to feel it
I need more than a pat on the shoulders.

I need to feel honesty
But to receive it
I need to be honest with myself.

I need to feel important
And to feel it
He needs to shower me with priceless
Hugs and kisses
And tender words from the heart.

But most of all,
All of me needs
To feel love and commitment
And for him to succeed in these
He needs to keep me smiling
And fill my heart with warmth.
