A poem for my bubba to be

My little Star

When you wish upon a Star
Never lose sight,
No matter how near or far.

You are my little Star
Burning brightly in the stratosphere
At times I find you
Blinking in the night sky
And other times
Not even a telescope helps me see you!

I know you are out there
Waiting to descend from the heavens
My little Star I will keep the faith
Keep my eye out for you
And be bathed by your twinkling presence when I lose sight of you

My little Star,
You will be more than a star
Because you will be mine!

You!
When I open my heart to You I want to cry,
I want to feel your soul moving and growing inside me
I want to protect You and feel your soft dewy skin
and bathe you will millions of butterfly kisses
whilst inhaling your sweet soft newborn breath.
But above all I want to love You unconditionally with all my heart and soul!

My Mum nicknamed my 20mth old daughter " Little Star " ... And weneva my Mum posts a little letter for her she always writes Little Star wt a itty bitty drawing of a star !!

And then she writes Butterfly Kisses to her at the end of the letter.

*** I don't know if the Best 'n' Less shop still sells them BUT last yr there was a white baby singlet you could buy with LITTLE STAR written on it with a grey or silver picture of a star . Only if you feel you could go about buying it, though I understand you possibly can not, ... maybe pop it away as a sign of hope ... So, that bubba-to-be know's it is there waiting to be worn)***

My nickname for my daughter when I was pregnant with her was BUBBA-TO-BE (can u believe that !!)

SHE TOOK US NEARLY 3 YRS TO CONCEIVE ... AND I FINALLY HAD HER AT THE RIPE OLD BUT YOUNG AGE OF "40"
