Hi All
Havent been around as Joshua has been in hospital. He got some sort of stomach bug - vomitting etc and wouldnt eat or drink. He lost 2 killos. He just got out of hospital today - poor little munchkin. I hate it sooo much when they are sick.... On top of all that the hospital told us our peadiatrition was on holidays so we had to have some old witch (we since found out he wasnt on holidays) and Joshuas room had ants!!!!
And I was just thinking how lucky we were for not being sick. Must have jinxed us!!!!
Hope you are all well
Love Jen

Oh Jen sorry to hear that Joshua has been so unwell.
Michelle - I went and got all my hair cut off last night. I had about 5 inches chopped off. Now sits just below ears instead of half way down my back. I don't think Andrew is that keen on it, but it will grown on him.
Anyway only a quick one. heaps tired. Had our club meeting tonight and lachlan decided to take the lid of his drink and pour the milk all over him and my jumper ](*,) which i had off cause the room had the heaters blaring, so I had to sit and freeze comign home in the car as our heating is buggered in the car atm.
Glad to hear you girls had a good time.

Only a quick post as I want to get to bed as I think we are in for a bad night with Asha. I am pretty sure she is teething again (exactly the same signs as last time) and her temp is roaring and she has a yucky cough! Em & Jack were such good teethers, they all just appeared. I guess I had to get one not so good one.
Better go ... Have a good weekend!
Cheers

Hey there,
Don't know how long I'll have to post, as Mr C has decided to put all his toys on the computer table - a sure sign that he is bored and needs someone to play with. Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for inviting me out to coffee, girls - it was awesome to meet up with you. Yes, we should do it again sometime soon. Eliana is such a good girl - just sitting on your lap like that, Mel - I wish Charlie would do that! And Aidyn is so clever - so much energy! I suppose I have that to look forward to when Charlie can walk properly. I would love to meet Matilda on a day when you can bring her, Christy. Hope you're enjoying the rest of your little holiday, Michelle. Sorry you couldn't make it, Katanya - we'll just hae to do again soon so you can come!
The rehearsal was ok, I suppose. But they always go so late, so I was exhausted after such a big day. Then on Friday my best friend called and cancelled the lunch plans we'd had (because she'd had a 'better' offer from a friend up the coast... gggrrr), so I went to visit the singer from my band who has a 15 month old boy. We had a lovely day shopping in the Valley, and then we went back to her place for lunch. The other boy is used to kids (he has an older sister) but Charlie was really scared of him for a while! He warmed up to him eventually though and they had a great time. Then we met DH and went home - I was mucking around on the piano and DH started playing his French horn - Charlie hasn't heard him play that much, as he's asleep when DH is practicing usually, and he was astounded! He kept trying to find where the sound came out of, and put his hand in the bell, and tried to press the keys... it was very cute.
Kelly - hope your teething night wasn't too bad, and the Asha is feeling well again soon.
Jen - poor Joshua! I am really sorry that you both had to go through that. Damn your pediatrician being away and the room being full of ants! How long was he in for?
Christy - sorry about the situation with your mum. Hope she's feeling much better soon - for more reasons than just for her benefit!
Anyway, I want to make DH a nice breakfast this morning, so I'd better go and deal with the filthy mess that is my kitchen. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.
Sorry you're feeling crook, Ambah - everyone's in the wars atm!

Good to hear from you Michelle ;) I hope you're still having a lovely time! Oooer @ getting your hair cut - how exciting!! That great that DH is having no probs with the kids, but LOL at him wanting to plan a fishing trip in Darwin!!
Kat - I will say it again - your hairct looks awesome!! Are you going to change your av to reflect it? ;) Btw, did you dye your hair as well, cause it is such a nice colour... lucky you if it is natural :)
Aww Jen that is awful that Joshua has been so sick. I hope he is feeling much better really soon.
Kelly - I hope Asha's teething syptoms subside soon... its terrible isnt it!
Kellee - thats so cute about Charlie wanting to play with DHs french horn!
I am feeling a bit better today but still not 100%, and now DP and Aidyn are much sicker. DP came home from work yesterday as pale as a ghost and promptly fell asleep, and Aidyn is coughing and has heaps of stuff coming out of his nose....... does it never end?? This must have been the worst winter EVER for sickness!
-
Ambah I hear you on the worst winter ever for sickness.... grrrrr.... Mum is still sick and I feel so sorry for her knowing she has things planned this week but can't go home because of her ear... I hope she feels better so we can actually enjoy a few days before she leaves, whenever that is lol...
Kathryn I'll have to go & check out your new haircut!! Did you see the shots of the tornado in Wisconsin? They were just on the news & there were some amazing shots there..... I of course thought of you :D
-
Christy my pic isn't on the website. I will email it to you, and yes we saw the footage of the Tornadoes;)
Ambah - It is my natural colour :D

Well I can see the suspect tooth under the gum! Horrid little thing and just as she gets tooth number 7 it looks like Jack will loose tooth number 1 anyday now!
I am so glad that my Mum is living here now as she will be looking after Asha for me tomorrow as I think she is getting conjunctivitis. She woke up with puffry eyes this morning and then by this afternoon she had sticky yellow gunk coming out of them. When I put her into bed tonight she tried to open her eyes but could only open one!!! Better she stays home tomorrow with Mum and I try to get her into the Doctors than send her to day care to have them ring me 30 minutes after I get to work.
I just know when I go back to work full time next year that I am going to run out of sick leave!!!!!
We went out for dinner last night for our wedding anniversary (which was last Wednesday) to a restaurant called Halo on the Barrack Street jetty in Perth. OMG it was delicious! I had some fantastic food and the atmosphere was great and the waiter we had was just awesome. Will be going back there again. Thank God for tax cheques because it wasn't cheap ($143) but wow!!!! The people at the table next to us were there with their kids, anyway they finished eating and got up, left and got on their HUGE boat and went home!!!!
Anyway have things to get ready for tomorrow still, ie school lunches so better get going. Have a great week.
Cheers

Ouch at the tooth Kelly and also Jack's first, what a week. Josh hasn't lost any yet and he just turned 6 last month, he looks cheeky enough without being a toothless terror LOL. So glad you had a lovely dinner, it's nice to splash out sometimes. Don't you love how the other half live, wish we had a boat to live on.LOL
Well I am back in Melb, 8 deg when I stepped off the plane, so I am freezing my bbs off LOL, oh well it had to end sometime. Jessica looks bigger and she is running everywhere. SHe will be in here soon too, and it's just not fair.
Hope every sickie is feeling better, including Christy's mum.
hous was clean when I got home, and Arron has gone out to do a job, so had a sec to jump on. Gotta get back to reality but atm i am feeling very tired, can't wait to sleep in my own bed and get close to my DH LOL
Cheers Mcihelle

Hey ladies,
Bugger the Melbourne weather, Michelle. I was just thinking how cold it is here tonight, and that we'll probably have to put Charlie's heater on, but it sounds much worse down there! LOL at the house being clean - guess you were right about DH having a massive clean up before you got home! Did he manage ok and say it was "easy"? Don't know how my DH would go alone with Charlie for the weekend, and we've only got one! Can't wait to see the new haircut.
Hope Asha gets that tooth really soon, Kelly. It's strange that it hurts before it even comes through, but once you can actually see it it's not a problem anymore. The poor little thing with conjunctivitis - everyone in here is so sick at the moment! I'm glad you had a lovely night out. Those outings are few and far between with bubs, so I'm pleased that you had a good time.
Christy - sorry to hear that your mum is still crook. It would suck being sick on a holiday. Hope it clears up soon and that you're able to enjoy the time she has left over here.
Ambah - you guys still sick too! Wow - I am sending lots of healthy vibes your way. Bring on summer, I say! BTW, was it next year that you were thinking about going back to study? I'm not entirely sure, but I think enrolment dates are usually in about October for the following year - I just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't sure. Which uni do you think you'll be going to?
Did some study today. I had a really bad sleep last night (my fault, not Charlie's) and I accidentally fell asleep for an hour on the couch! I felt like an idiot when I woke up - the time that Mum has Charlie is like gold as it's the only time I can owrk ont his damned assignment (for which I'm supposed to be studying right now... oops). Charlie started feeding himself with the spoon tonight... funny, considering how last week when I gave him the spoon he wasn't interested at all. My floor is now covered in tuna and mashed pumpkin - I will have to get a sheet of plastic to put on the floor when he's eating I think. Speaking of food, we went to MIL's house on Sunday for lunch and she gave Charlie iced tea (until I asked her not to) and then she tried to give him a bit of her coffee! Lucky I caught her before she did - can't imagine how crazy he would have gone with all the caffeine. Dear me...
Anyway, bed calls. Hope you're all well and that you have a lovely Tuesday.
-
Hey ladies
Hope you're all feeling a lil better tomorrow, our household has finally gotten rid of all the sniffles and flu's and conjuctivitis... the only thing thats "sick" at the moment is Xander's fake sneezes!! he's such a silly billy (its almost as funny as his "snoring," when we tell him "nigh nigh's" and after we lay him down, give him "normie" and kiss him, he starts snoring at us!! He must have heard his dad...
I'm just planning to have to have a quiet week this week, been feeling 'off.' dont know what it is, but i just dont feel right.... Hope im not starting to come down with something!!! That would suck!!
Anyway DH's trying to drag me off to bed... time for his servicing :D hehehehehe talk to you lovely ladies later!! hope you all have a good night's sleep!!![/list]

A quick update ... no conjuntivitis here, just all to do with her cold. So I got a clearance note and she is off to day care tomorrow. I am sure she will be fine.
Time for me to get to bed ... so tired today and I don't know why although I can feel that horrid tickle in the back of my throat so fingers crossed it will turn out to be nothing!
Cheers

Hi all!!
Sickness is getting better here as well....Mum still needs an all clear from an ENT to travel so we are going to get that in two days (wow who knew you could get an appt so quickly with a specialist....or an insurance co can).
I worked yesterday and decided that something really does need to happen, I have worked all weekend and I am absolutely exhausted....I'm sure most people are this tired after working and having bubs, I just can't cope with the tiredness.
Thats good to hear about everyone's colds & sniffles & conjunctivitis clearing up, Come On Spring!!!
Michelle LOL at your DH & clean house....How did he go with the kids? Is he off on a fishing trip soon? LOL
Kellee I hope you get your assignment done :) I can't say much as I was the ultimate procrastinator at uni...
Kelly I hope that tooth pops up soon & Jack's pops out LOL...Matilda's still been working on her second tooth for 2 weeks now! It comes up & down constantly....grrrr bloody teeth LOL
