I always lose track of what everyone says when we start the new month.
Christy- would you really pick me up from the airport? Are you sure cos I don't want to put you out? It would be lovely but I am happy to catch a taxi too! Have you got any good ideas about where to meet?
Ambah- I know how you feel about getting excited about your trip, How long has it been since you saw your sister? Is she in the army? My sister and her Dh were in Townsville awhile ago and he got transferred to QLD. Next year they will be in Canberra, and she is disappointed I think. This will be my last trip to see her in Bris so I better make the most of it I guess.
Yvette- Angus sounds like he is working out some very fun things to do, even if they aren't the best games for parents! At least he does have everybody else to play with when you are tired, and with carrying those HUGE twinnies, I can well understand how you are tired.
Kathryn- you sound like me, I went shopping with a gf for clothes after I had Jessica and have since dragged her on 4 other shopping trips. Amazing how you only need one trip to work out how to get a bargain! LOL Last time I went I got a $50 pair of cool jeans for $17, and I was rapt too. You go girl, Andrew is going to think he has a new gf!LOL
I know other people wrote replies but i have forgotton, so hello everyone and I will catch up soon, going scrapbooking tonight again and am not expecting to do heaps of pages this timeLOL, I didn't get the pics cut up and ready so that will take awhile. Oh well at least it's a night out and a bit social. Best go organise tea or Arron won't be organised for me to leave in time.
Kimberley is 2½ today where has that time gone. My little girl is growing up so fast and is so cheeky with it.
She now has a new film she loves to watch. She is now into Lilo and Stitch or as she calls it Loulou and Titch.
Bit buggered today. Poor Kameron rofl I made him walk from Playgroup to our nearest major shopping centre (approx a 30 min walk) so there and back home again was a lot for a the littlel tacker and he slept 3 hrs when he got home. Mum said I was cruel for making him walk all that way, but he only walked half way home (he shared the pusher with Lachlan) and rode in my friends pram at the actual shops cause her little girl likes to walk in the Mall. So it wasn't too major but it was a really warm day today which wouldn't have helped
As for Lachlan he is walking everywhere now and also can wave and say "seeya" too cute.
Michelle - I last saw my sister and her family around Christmas time, but she was terribly sick and ended up going into hospital while she was here to have her gallbladder removed... So hopefully this time it will be a much more joyous and fun occasion when i see her! She is newly pg as well, with #4!! I am just a teeny bit jealous as I am still trying to convinve DP that we need a #2, lol
Yeah her DH is in the army. They are stationed in Townville for at least another 3 yrs I think. Before that they were in Toowoomba, and before that Wagga Wagga, and before that Brissy, lol. It would be great if she gets to come back to Brissy one day.
I hope you are having a wonderful night to yourself, and getting some lovely pages completed.
Kat - WOW @ Kam having a 3 hr nap. Sounds like a long walk for a little boy, but he did well, lol And as you said to me before - at least you know how to tire him out now
Aidyn is the same when he goes and plays at the gym, as soon as we get home he goes down for at least a 2 hr nap. Its good incentive to get myself down there every morning too, lol.
I have just dyed my hair tonight... took me 4 weeks to actually get around to it, have had the dye sitting there for ages, but just couldnt be stuffed!
tomorrow will be a busy day for me... doing laundry and packing.
The next time I post will likely be from sunny Townsville!
Well, I'm not in Townsville yet, lol! I just couldnt keep myself away from here, although I really should be getting ready & organsised!
Aidyn has come down with a cold.. what wonderful timing! #-o He has had the sniffles for a few days, and today it seems to have developed into a bit of a cough, but otherwise he seems fine, with no fevers or anything. I just hope it doesnt bother him on the plane, cause I remember once my Mum and sister had cold whilst flying and they said the pressure changes made it really uncomfortable for them.
Hi everyone. Silly me did a really big catch up post just before July got locked. Just wanted to let you all know I had put in the effort, lol.
Jen, yes I love that look of pure concentration. Time? Well, I’ve been short of it hence the big catch up I just did, but I am on the puter a lot coz I really can’t do much atm with my enormous belly.
Michelle, yep, Angus is a busy boy. He had a ball climbing on the box the new twin stroller came in yesterday. Hope you had a good scrapbooking night.
Michelle my kids really liked Lilo & Stitch too. There’s a cartoon series now of it on foxtel.
Kathryn wow at Lachlan saying “seeyaâ€. We still don’t really have any proper words. That’s a big nap Kam had! Sounds like a big walk is the trick if you need them to sleep.
Ambah, lucky you off to Townsville. I have a friend up there but haven’t been for about 5 years. Hope you have a lovely time. Bugger about Aidyn getting a cold. Try to have him sucking on something for takeoff for his ears.
Hi girls!! Things are going crazy & I can't seem to get time on atm with Matilda going down to one sleep a day... but I just wanted to pop in and say to Michelle its at 2.15? Can you email me the details? I'll leave my house when your flight should arrive & I'll meet you outside after you get your luggage. I'll PM you my mobile # too just in case
scrapping was good, just me and Mum, did 1 page only but organised the pics for the other 5 pages. It's almost ridiculous the amount of photos I took of Jordan's first zoo trip! ^ pages to get all the pics in, mostly animals too!LOL
Ambah- I hope Aidyn flies ok and the cold is a very short one. I bet it will be so great to see your sis. When is she due? And in that heat too, yuck, I would hate that. Although I guess you get used to it after awhile.
Christy- I will email asap, getting late and gotta get up in the morning and go get a pressie for Dad's bday, and it will take all day too cos he has everything. Thanks again for that! You are a gem!
Michelle- how cute, I love it when they can't say things properly. Jemma will be 2 and a half soon too, on the 21st, time just flies! Jemma is actually lying all the time, like when naughty things were done today at mum's she said Olivia (my niece) did them. When we knew jemma had done them. And tonight she spilt marinade all over the floor and then told me Olivia did it, and she wasn't even here! I managed to get her to admit to doing it and say sorry but....those kids teach her bad things! She is so stubborn too, does things and then won't say sorry most of the time. And not even 2 and a hlaf.
yvette- don't kids just love boxes! I swear Santa has the total wrong idea!
Michelle - I can't even get Kimberley to say sorry no matter how many times i ask her too. Some words she is saying i don't understand what she means but she knows.
Thinking of cutting out her day time sleep i don't really want to as they both sleep at the same time but we are having an awful time of getting her to bed she now won't go till around 9 even with us trying to put her down after 7.30.
Michelle- Jemma doesn't really have a sleep any more coas of the same thing. It is sort of bad, cos she sometimes gets reallly cranky lkate arvo, but at least I don't see her out of bed 50 times until 10.30pm. Jemma talks like a 3yo so we understand her but she is still stubborn. joshua was such a lovely boy, always saying sorry, but he's stubborn now, so i guess it all evens oput in the end.
Kathryn- forgot to say hi to you yesterday, Poor Kameron, but I bet after the walk he had the best sleep ever, 3 hrs is great. Oh to be the child in the pram.
I went shopping today and my feet are killing me. I got Dad a dumb CD and a dumb shirt, not happy but it's very hard! I also got a 3pce set (hat, jacket and pants) for jemma for $13, down from $35, so that was great, and a pair of jeans for jordan for $16, which is great for girls jeans cos her clothes are as expensive as mine. pd money on the layby's and I must remember to ring to tell thenm I want to pick it up, 3 days bf cos it's not actually at the store. I am happy though cos the layby is jessica and Jordan's bday pressies so at least i just have to pay it off and their bday pressies are done. Oh and Yahtzee game for Arron for fathers Day.
Anyway better fly
Going to the shops, then having tea and going to see Dad for his bday
Cheers Michelle
I haven't really had a lot of time to post, been reading though to see how you are all going. Currently I have Shepards Pie bubbling away and spilling over in the oven, but I think there is enough there to feed the army LOL.
It is only 4.30pm but it seriously feels like it should be 9pm. I just can't stay awake today. I even got the pillows out and laid on the lounge about 2pm and fell asleep with both the boys jumping on me !! Wasn't asleep for long maybe 15 mins.
Michelle - Woohoo at the bargains you got while shopping, and the next page of scrapbooking that you managed to do. Don't you just hate fathers day. They are so hard to buy for. I am sure they all say that about us when it comes to Mothers Day too
*Michelle* - Kameron cut out all day time sleep not long after her turned 2. Sure it is nice having two kids down during the day for a bit of peace, but I think I would rather an easy night routine than having to fight with them. We still argue with Kameron to go to bed some nights, but majority of the time he is in bed at 8pm, some nights it can be earlier than that like last night, but other nights it may be later too like on a Friday or Saturday night were we might hire out a couple of kids movies for him.
Ambah - I hope you are enjoying your time with your sister
Christy - I hope you are lapping up the extra help you are having at the moment with your mum being there with you.
*Yvette* - bugger about loosing your big post. You must have been on late cause they got locked around midnight I think.
Doh house is filling up with smoke from the overspill in the oven, time to open the windows and doors, and freeze for a while.
Lachlan is just starting to get into dancing now. If he hears music he puts his arms up and swings is torso from left to right. Too cute. Yesterday at the "Good Beginnings" session of playgroup they taught the actions to "rock a bye bear" by the Wiggles, which happens to be Kam's favourite song at the moment anyway. By the end of the night (I had to sing it 100 times when we got home) Lachlan could put his finger to his mouth and do the "shhh Shhhh shhh" at the end.
Well that is about all my news for now. Hello to anyone I missed.
aw Kat I hope your pie was okay I have been running around today, MAtilda went to day care & mum & I went shopping! I have been waiting to loose the final bits of baby blubber so I can fit into my pants again, but I decided it was never going to happen and I bought two pairs of pants today I was still wearing one of my maternity cargos because they were the only pants that fitted comfortably....ahhhh... thank god I can breath again LOL! I only went up one size in the bum, but thats enough...
Shopping must be the activity of the week LOL
Well...I'm off to work now...puppies await me. At least this week I can go freshly showered because Mum watched Matilda while I had one YAY.... I've decided while she's here I'll put her to work and enjoy putting my feet up for a while (I had a nap yesterday 8-[ )
Kimberley was so good today she used her potty and after she had been she put the wee down the toilet and then a little later she went to the toilet and did a poo. She does really well when she has nothing on but as soon as i put knickers and trousers on she wet herself. I'll try again tomorrow to keep her awake during the day.
I did try all day to keep her wake but by 2.30 she was asleep. I think it does not help that she wakes so early in the morning no matter what time she goes to bed at night.
Kathryn - I love making Shephards pie i always make to much as well.
Sounds like Lachlan is having fun.
Ambah - Have a nice time away
Sounds like everyone has been having fun at the shops.
Well I arrived in Townville this morning without too much drama. I was orginally seated in the middle seat with Aidyn on my lap, between 2 middle aged men - who did not look impressed at all, especially when Aidyn started whingeing and kicking aorund, lol. So after the plane had taken off, the flight attendant moved the men into 2 spare seats so I had a whole row to myself
Aidyn is having a great time with his cousins, and is in awe of so many new toys for him to play with!
I have been sooo naughty and have been stuffing my face full of chocolate and other goodies that DP dissaproves off...lol
And the BEST news of the day... DP got a promotion today - and a nice big payrise too. We are OVER THE MOON as we have been in some serious financial difficulty lately, and this is going to make things much mroe manageable now... I still cant believe it!! I may just buy myself some clothes up here to celebrate too
I will do personals later, as my sis is kicking me off here so she can get on to do her Ebay stuff... oh, I think someone asked whern she is due? Not until late March 06, which means that yes, she is going to have to endure the disgusting Townsville heat through her pg...
OMG... I had the WORST nights sleep ever last night.
Aidyn was crying for literally half the night (fell asleep at 2am, woke at 6am). He just didnt like his new surroundings, plus he has a pretty bad cold atm.
I feel like I'm walking in a daze now from tiredness, plus I think I am getting his cold too... PLEASE let tonight be a better night! [-o<
Urgh Ambah. That is no good. Woohoo at DP's promotion as well. It is nice when that happens.
We have had a nice morning NOT. Lachlan decided he was going to throw his guts up.... okay no problem there. He just decided to throw up in a bag that had 100 golf balls in it ](*,)
Well Lachlan doesn't seem to be keeping food down I gave him a biscuit and 30 mins later he threw it up again and copped me in the process. Of course it had to be one of those that has the real sick smell to it I did well though cleaned him up, cleaned the floor up and got myself cleaned up last of all.
