Thanks for the well-wishes regarding the brush turkey, girls, but I fear it has all been in vain... for today, he proceeded to move onto the garden on the other side of our driveway and strip it of everything to use for his mound. His mound now stands 1m tall and is almost 3m wide. Tomorrow I am going to take a photo of it with the digi cam just to show you all what I am talking about.... its craziness!!! ](*,)
And there is no forcing him away either, short of severely injuring him which I am of course not contemplating! (though DP seems a bit keen for roast turkey 8-[ )
I have covered what remains of the garden with old sheets and outdoor chairs in the hope of preserving any remaining greenery that we do have. (god only knows what the neighbours will think when they look into our garden LOL!)
DP is even considering going to Bunnings and buying some huge bags of mulch to give to the turkey so it stops using our garden, LOL!!
Aww Michelle, how sad for you, but how exciting too!! Happy Birthday to darling Jessica for tomorrow!!! :happybday:
Kat - I hope everything stays ok at playgroup with that father & son... I agree, it would be very difficult to go up and say something like that to someone.
Michelle - I am glad to hear that both Kimberley and Alex are much better now.
