How's the cold today Dee? So did you end up having a nap yesterday?
The weather is icky here as well Deb, not quite raining yet but it's going to. Yay for a nice dinner with you & Neil, I think you both needed it.
Zander has another cold as well Tanya, so I can sympathise :hugs:
Don't worry about the not sitting up thing yet, Zander is the same!!
Very quiet day here today, Zander has been sleeping heaps cos of his cold so I've been tackling his scrapbook. I need to get some more photos printed though - I've had printed from birth to about the middle of June, so there are quite a few to be printed.
I think we might be getting Zander his new car seat on the weekend cos he gets very cranky getting into the little capsule now. *sob* my boy's growing up too fast.
-
Sarah : Awwww... uno he is growing up whenever you have to move him into something new like the car seat. Sorry to hear that Zander has another cold!
I am going to PM you with the web site where I get my photos printed for 15 cents a print. It's pretty cool. You do have to wait a little longer because they get printed in NZ but they do an excellent job. Really easy to use too.
-
Sarah - no I didn`t have a nap yesterday but as the evening wore on I was feeling pretty rotten so at 8pm I took Matthew to bed with me, he had a feed and was asleep by 8.30pm and I got to sleep not long after. I still feel awful today, have to go and get the boys soon, hopefully they aren`t in this terrible Friday mood that they seem to be in when we pick them up, here`s hoping anyway. Hope Zander is feeling better soon. It`s amazing how fast they grow, I was saying to Mark yesterday it`s hard to imagine Matthew as that little baby he once was, his reply was he was never little but he knew what I meant :)
Tanya - I hope Violet gets better soon so she starts sleeping through the night so you can get some sleep, I`m sure I`ll be in the same position with Matthew in a few days time, I can`t see how he could possibily avoid my cold. I`m sure Violet will eventually sit up, I feel the same way with Matthew and rolling.
Deb - Have fun at MG today and that`s fantastic that you both got out and had dinner together.
Nell - Glad to see you back and that your teeth are feeling a lot better.
As I said Matthew got to sleep at 8.30pm, Mark`s alarm went off at 2.30am and woke Matthew, I really thought he`d be getting up, he looked over at me and smiled, Mark did his usual of giving me a kiss before he goes, turn off the light and Matthew went to sleep, what a darling he is, he eventually got up at 7.30am.
Take Care

Oh Deb would you be so kind to send me the site too :D
-
Don't know how well I'll go on this big catch up but I promise to try.
My computer has been down AGAIN. Stupid thing keeps crashing on me.
Tehya talks =D> Yep thats right, the girl talks already. DAD DAD DAD, typical, who's the person that looks after her all of the time. Also she makes this sound that we all swear sounds like she is saying Hello. I guess she could be given that we say Hello Bub to her. I was thinking she was abit young to start talking but she's doing it alright.
Sarah, bummer that Zander has another cold. I think it's this stupid weather that keeps changing on us. YAY on getting your highchair and for putting it together. I'm ususally the one to put that sort of stuff together here too. YAY for Zander liking his rusks too. Tehya gets them everywhere.
Deb, YAY for finally getting you tax check in and being able to spend away. Good to hear that Gabby likes her kick and whirl. Good on you guys for going out for a meal too. It's a nice thing to do when you get the chance.
Nell, of course we missed you. Hope that your mouth is feeling all better now. Congrats on the big 6 months to Matty. I hope that he is doing well.
Tanya, sorry to hear that Violet has a cold poor little Miss. All of my kids have beautiful long eyelashes too. Noah's and Tehya's are red of course so quite hard to see but the big boys are beautiful long and dark.
Dee, sorry I had a giggle at your home grown eggs. Do you sit on them yourself ;) I hope that your feeling better now. And I wouldn't say Matthew is spoilt. I don't like that term I say "well loved" :) that's what my kids are.
Michelle, I'm sure that Alex will be fine. Phooey to your MCHN too for thinking that he is front of the tv all day. I hope that Alex is feeling better now.
Bec, LOL on Eliza sounding like a money. Any noise has to be thought of as productive anyway.
Sorry to those I've missed, my review doesn't go back any further. I hope that you are all going well and bubs are doing great.
As I said at the beginning of my post Tehya has started to abble alot more, her newest word being DAD DAD. It really does sound so cute. I don't mind her saying Dad first, I even taught Brandon and Noah to say it first. I like that idea of being able to say "oh she/he wants you" :) LOL, Noah still does it to Mark.
I went and picked up my Pixie Phots yesterday and Yep, just as I thought, they are crap. There was 1 nice one of Noah although he isn't even looking at the camera and Tehya's ones aren't that great at all. I ended up getting 1 of Noah and 1 of Tehya as they are supposed to be Marks fathers day pressie.
Better go Noah needs picking up from preschool and of course Tehya, who hasn't slept all bloody day is fast asleep and has been for alittle over an hour now.
Take care
Trish

Seeing as Zander now has his highchair I decided he needed a new ticker ;)
The weather is insane Trish, hot then cold then hot, it's driving me nuts! Yay on Tehya talking, even if it is dadadadad  Bumma about the computer & the Pixie Photos not turning out as well.
Aww sounds like Matthew had a good sleep last night cos mummy needed one! Hope you're feeling better too Dee.
Thanks for the PM Deb, I'll definately look into that one for sure.
-
Trish... so cute that Tehya is saying Dad... smart little girl :)
Sarah, Oh no @ poor Zander's cold :( Violet seems to be feeling a bit better this afternoon... not quite as much snot! :)
Yay for the car seat :) I hope you can go and get it... they look so cute sitting front ways... just don't smash your car while trying to look at him all the time :)
Dee, sounds like you needed the sleep that Matthew gaveyou. Violet did the same thing when I was really sick a couple of weeks ago... woke at about 9am :D
Went and did the shopping this afternoon, left the girls with their father :) . (which reminds me I'll have to express some milk) Tis great to get the groceries without the girls :D
Funny thing about Violets sitting up, is that she almost is... but if I try to put her down and she sees something she rreeeeally wants... nup! Legs go straight and she would rather stand up.
Gotta go to the woohoo forum :D
Tanya
-
Deb - That is great Gabby loves her kick and whirl.
Alex is slowly getting used to his.
Dee - Hope you are feeling better soon.
Tanya - So funny that Violet wants to stand.
Sarah - Hope Zander's is feeling much better soon.
Looks like lots of the little ones have colds.
Alex still has his cough but seems a little better. Took him to the CYN today and he has put on another 200grms in a week even with him throwing up.
I was asked how i was doing and i just stood there and started crying the lady took me into a room and we had a talk about things and she has booked me into see a counsellor (sp?) next Friday and i have to go back to CYH on Tuesday so they can check how i am doing.
Hopefully i will start to feel better soon.
-
Michelle - loads of hugs for you. I hope you feel better soon too and seeing a counseller isn't all that bad - it's a great release. Matty also vomits alot and is still putting the weight on so good to see Alex is as well.
Sarah - yay on Zanders new highchair! Great looking ticker too! I wished we didn't have a highchair so we could get a FP on too, they look so cool..
Deb - yay for Gabby and her kick and whirl. Wished we'd got one for Matty too. Oh well, maybe for the next bubs. Glad you went out for dinner. Pete and I haven't been for dinner since April - that is forever! We must do it again soon. Can I have the Pm too please??
Dee - it seems Matthew is turning into a great sleeper! Hope the other boys were okay for you this time and have no surprise assignments to be done.
Trish - that was a massive catch up! Well Done! I get soo lazy with the massive catch ups.. How cute at Tehya talking, what a clever girl!
Tanya - gald to see Violet's cold is getting better... you have a clever girl also.. wanting to stand.
Fi - I see you've booked a holiday.. has she already gone? Have fun if you haven't.
Hi everyone else.
I am going to hang out in here until you all meet me in the 6 month forum, kinda lonely in there without all my buddies. :)
-
Nell, I look at how much I have to catch up on it scares me sometimes. Somedays I just have a read and think NAH I can't do it and come back later. Stick around with us, we don't mind :) All too soon we'll be joining you in the next forum :(
Sarah, have you got your new av already? I tried refreshing to see if it changed and it didn't. Oh well if you have I'm sure it looks great and I'll see it soon.
Michelle, huge hugs to you sweety. Maybe a chat with the counsellor is just what you need. A good outlet for you. You know that we're all here if you need a good chat, cry or a scream.
Dee, I hope that you. have a nice weekend and that the boys are nie and calm for you. I have my big boys here this weekend, so far they have been quiet but it is still early.
Tanya, your lucky that Violet willl take the bottle for you. I brought the Isis pump and got out a full bottle and of course Tehya won't drink it will she. What a waste. She must just love mummy's bb's :) How much quicker is it getting the shopping done without the kids.
Had another shocker night last night. Oh well, those nights just make me look forward to Tresillian. I swear I am expecting a miracle to happen when I go there.
Noah's cold has really kicked in now. He has a lovely yuck nose and a severe case of conjunctivitus. Poor little man screamed last night when i was trying to give him his medicine. He refused to take it so I held his head back and forced him :( afterwards he said to me "why darlin', why you choke me?" I felt like crying. And of course I still had to put his eyedrops in.
Looks like I won't be buying a new puter for a while. We hae found a house that we're really serious about so all finances are being put that way atm. Oh well, looks like I'll be sending it away to the puter shop again.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Take care
Trish
-
Not a new av Trish, just my ticker! Awwww poor Noah :( Yaaay at the new house though, you're buying aren't you?
Awww you can hang out with us Nell, we won't tell ;) Yup, Fi has already gone, probably sunning herself as we speak!
Yay on the weight gain for Alex Michelle \:D/ Good luck with the counsellor next week, I hope it helps.
LOL at crashing the car trying to look at the baby too much Tanya! As it is, we have a mirror on the back windscreen to see him & Aaron can't help it! I'm not too bad. Yay for shopping on your own & I read your woohoo & I agree - WOOHOOOO!!
Oh and happy 5months to Zander & Violet :D
As I said, we're off shopping today - I have to get more photos printed, get some more glue & Zander's car seat. Hope everyone has a good day!
-
Woo hooo!! 5 months for Zander and Violet. Wow... did you ever think it would get this far?? And so quickly??
Sarah - have fun shopping today!! I am going to try and twist Neil's arm and see if he will come to the seconds shops in Torquay to buy him some new trackies. Problem is, because he has printed half the stuff, he finds all the faults and is soooooooooo picky! Grrrrr  Yay for Zander's new ticker - clever boy in his high chair! Gabby is still to little for hers. The bouncer does the trick 4 now.
Trish - OMG how cute is Noah with what he said?? Gosh kids say the funniest stuff. Sounds like you guys are having a rough trot. Hey, if Tresillian don't have a "miracle" they may at least be able to get a rountine happening. It's gotta be hard to have one with 4 kids! Tehya's talking sounds so cute! We haven't really got to the talking stage with Gabba. Sometimes she sounds like she says Mumumumum when she's really grizzly but otherwise it's just "ahahaaaaa" type stuff.
Nell - sent you that PM (you too Dee). It's a pretty good site - really easy to follow. I have about 300 photos to order so I might have to do 2 different lots or otherwise I will be waiting forever for the darn things to upload. No worries about staying here until we all migrate to the next forum. It feels like we all just got here and now everyone is starting to move on again, LOL. Definitely go out to dinner again soon - it does wonders!
Michelle - good on you for having a chat to your MCHN. It's great that she has organised some counselling for you. I really hope that you can get the help you need to start feeling on top of things again. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to deal with a baby AND a toddler - it must take so much out of you (esp. when things rarely go according to plan). Just remember - you are doing an excellent job!! :hugs: for you.
Tanya - yay 4 going shopping on your own. It must be soooo much easier to concentrate. Gabby is the same as Violet - she would rather stand than sit down. She thinks she is the greatest when I have her standing up and hang onto her hands (I think there's a photo on her site but she was cracking it because she was ready for bed - normally she's smiling her head off).
Dee - yay for Matthew's effort at going back to sleep yesterday morning. It always makes the day feel better when they just drift back off on their own until it's a decent time.
We went to a friend's for dinner last night and I thought, blow it, I am going to have some bourbon cans! So I took a formula bottle along for Gabby (and some farex but she wasn't interested in that) then expressed when I got home. We didn't get to sleep until 2am (Gab had a 4 hour nap @ our friend's place) but she still woke at 7am. I only had 4 cans so I am not hung over but, geeeeeez, a bit more sleep would have been nice. I think there must be the noise of the birds or something at 7am that wakes her up?? Ah well... will just have to have a nap this afternoon.
-
Michelle... Aww you poor chook!! I had no idea you were feeling so horrible... so my applogies. I hope your counselling session helps you out a bit.
Nell... we are happy to have you while tyou wean your way into the 6mo thread :) by that time we'll be there too :D
Sarah, have fun shopping :) and Yay for Zander & Violet .... wasn't it just last week they were 4mo?? I think Declan is 5mo today too :)
Trish... How cute is Noah... poor little thing... I am still giggling at how cute he is :D
Have you tried Tehya on a sippy cup or a straw cup??
Slept on hte couch again with Violet... poor little girl, although she seems to be getting a little better. Bough a ticket for Wato to take Emily to the circus tonight. I only need one ticket cause Emily can sit on his knee... so I got a front row seat :D
Alecia is having a friend over tonight... I hope they aren't too noisy, they are usually pretty good :)

Hi,
Hope you don't mind me butting into your thread! Am hoping you can help. 8-[
My SIL has just given birth to my beautiful neice in the USA and, as she has all the newborn stuff she will ever need, has asked that I send some winter clothes for when she's a bit older. I guess she's thinking that they will be coming on special here as they would be going out of season.
She will be 4mths in December for their winter. I don't have any kids of my own (yet - I'm on the IVF rollercoaster) and am totally clueless when it comes to baby sizes. My niece was just over 9pd when she was born - if that helps.
Can anyone advise what sizes I should be looking for and what items you would recommend?
Thanks
Blue
-
Deb, sounds like you have a good night... must be great to let your hair down some what :) I know what you mean about needing more sleep... We finally got to sleep at about 1:15 and I fed Violet TWICE during the night... BLUH... Wato has been getting Em up so I am not as bad as I could be.
Trish forgot to say... bumma about the computer... IKWYM tho... I hate my bloody computer!! Talk about sllloooowww!!! I am going to get a new one soon tho... even if I just buy one piece at a time.
We got notice to move out of here a couple of days ago... 31st of Dec... :) finally a deadline!!
Tanya

Damn, I replied to the post and my stupid puter didn't submit it. Oh well, now I can make a bigger reply.
Tanya, Noah has taken to calling me Darlin or Beauful of georgous ( not spelling mistakes just his way of saying them) lately. Usually it's when he wants something or if he's in trouble. He says I'm sorry Darlin'. Mummy your beauful. Little buggar knows it's hard to go ranky at him then. Hope the girls have a great night at the circus and Alecia and her friend are quiet. Nope I haven't tried her with the sippy cup yet, I figured it wasn't a teat issue given the fact that she likes her dummy. She just lets it flow into her mouth then spits it out. Grot :)
Deb, I don't know how you can stay out that late with Gab it would kill me staying up that late let alone drinking. Can you tell I really value my sleep ? Good to hear that you had a nice time though.
Sarah, yep we're buying. Hoping to get a late settlement so we can get a few more $$ together. It's a 4 bedda and has a pretty good sized yard and an enclosed playroom of the back of the house. Oh and I mustn't forget the all important cubby for the little ones, the workshop for Mark and the huge bathtub for me :)
Have fun shopping and I hope Zander loves his new carseat.
Happy 5 months to Zander and Violet =D>
Take care
Trish
-
Blue Congrats to your SIL :) . I would get her 00 and maybe a few 0 for the end of the winter season.
Good luck with your IVF... I hope your BFP is soon :)
Tanya
-
Blue, I would sugest the same as Tanya said, 00 for the beginning and maybe a few 0's for the end and even the few cool days in spring.
Good luck with your IVF and I hope you get your BGF real soon.
Take care
Trish
-
Tanya - awww... poor Violet. And poor you for having to sleep on the couch :( Hope she comes good today. Also hope that Alecia and her friend are nice and quiet for you.
Trish - the house sounds excellent. Hope it all works out!
Blue - where in the USA does your SIL live? Does it snow in winter?? Gabby is 5 months now and still in 000 (and she is on the lean side) so, yeah, I would say go the 00 because if it is really cold there, chances are the baby will be wearing lots of layers anyway. As for the 0's - it really depends on their winter. If she's in Florida then it doesn't get all that cold but, if she is in Chicago then definitely get warm size 0's iykwim?
-
Thanks for your advice! I figure if I err on the big side, she might grow into them.
bieleemorris - they live in New Jersey and yes it snows! When I was over there a few years back it got to 10 degrees below 0 (and we built a snow kangaroo.. the neighbours thought we were nuts)!! But they seem to always have their heaters on high and get around in light clothing inside? I think you might be right about the layers.
Am so very grateful for your help and your best wishes - I'm in the TWW at the moment... actually I had the transfer on the same day as my niece was born - so hopefully that is a good omen.
thanks again,
Blue
-
Hi Blue - I suggest the same as the other ladies Size 00 and size ) towards the end of winter, my boy was born 9lb 4ozs when born and 53cms long. He is now 7.7kg and 65cms long @3.5 months of age he`s in size 00 and even some 000 still (but these are the larger size 000), if she`s long like my boy you`d have to watch the all in ones and their length. Good luck with your TWW.
Tanya - Poor you for having to sleep on the couch. Hope Emily enjoys the circus with Daddy and yay @ getting a front row seat. Yay for Violet being 5 months.
Deb - sounds like you had a good night last night.
Sarah - Happy 5 months to Zander. Have a great day shopping.
Trish - you never know that miracle might just happen after going to tresilian. Poor Noah, I hope he`s feeling better soon. Yay at finding a house, it sounds lovely.
Nell - The boys seem a lot calmer this time, thankgoodness for both Mark and I and we asked Michael straight away any homework, we got a reply oh yes a little, so it was done this morning.
Michelle - I`m so sorry your feeling so rotten, the counselling will be a great help. Yay @ Alex`s weight gain.
I think I`ve remembered everyone :-k
I`m still not feeling that crash hot, feeling a bit dizzy with all the fluid in my head plus I think it`s starting to go down to my chest. Matthew woke at 3am this morning, hungry and wide away telling me big stories, I thought I`d have problems getting him back to sleep but by 4am he was asleep and woke at 7.30am, I told him if he keeps up waking at night I`m giving him solids as to me it would mean he`d be needing more if he`s suddenly waking up at night.
Take Care

Deb - I forgot to say thank you for the PM :D
-
Heellooo everyone,
I'm having one of those days where I think "how great is my life" lol.
Not sure whether it is because Nicks at the football and the girls are home alone. This morning Nick bribed me to go for a walk up the streets ....for some yummy breakfast. Eliza fell asleep, I had the hugest coffee and I was a buzzin. Years of marriage puts a stop to conversation...heads in papers occasionly glancing up to exchange this tastes great...hehe how romantic.
Deb: Hope you are spending up big on the tax return..as for the scrap booking, I have made friends with the lady at the shop and even though I am a novice I have neally completed my first page. I also got a personalised book there that tells a story with Eliza's birth details, doctor and town...it is so cute.
Tanya: Hope Violet is better today, I am still thinking I want to be a cool mum like you.
Trish: lol at the geogous mum.....it is so cute. Sippy cup here is still in the cupboard yes one day it is all going to fall into place.Well done on the house...huge bath yah.
Michelle: I'm glad the MCHN picked up on your tearyness. I have been there too. Sometimes just talking makes it so much better. (Hugs)
Blue: Good luck with the IVF...it is all worth it. I agree 00's
Ah the girl is awake. OOh I am so lucky, yes it is one of those days.
Bec
-
Bec, How wonderful that you are having 'one of those days' :D I hope it continues for a few more.
Dee, I hope Matthew sleeps better tonight... sounds like you still need to rest. Wato said to me today that I am sounding worse... I said how am I suppose to get better with no sleep... I need sleep to get better! I have a cough btw.
Trish the way you are discibing Noah talking reminds me of Golum (on Lord of the Rings)... "What's taters, precious"... :D
Deb, I supose Neil will be in a good mood today :D . Great win at the footy, did he go? I don't even want to talk about the 'pies game today #-o
Well Violet has been ok... still very sooky, but the nose has dried up a bit :) . I need a HUGE SLEEP!!
Tanya
-
Thank goodness Violet is getting better, Zander is too - not coughing so much now. I hope she sleeps better for you tonight (and not on the lounge!)
Wow sounds like you've had a great day Bec. Big breakfast, home alone with your beautiful girl.
Awww Dee, sounds like you definately need some more sleep, you poor chook.
Wow, sounds like a great house Trish, where is it? Same area you're in now? Have you made an offer?
No worries about "butting in", I thought the girls here would be able to help you out. BTW good luck with your TWW :crossfingers:
Well, the little man now has his big boy's seat in the car :D We picked it up then I had to pick up my photos, I ran in & it took aaaages so when I got back to the carpark Aaron had already set it up! Alexzander looks so little in it, compared to being big in his capsule. Oh yeah & he's 8.35kg now
Ummm so I got my photos & have done another 3 scrapbook pages (I'm on a role!). Oh yeah & I had to get mums layby out when I went to Baby's Galore - she got Zander a car thingy for Christmas, if you think of a walker it's that sort of thing but it's stable with no rollers & it has all these car type gadgets on it (steering wheel, mirrors, radio, traffic lights). Sooo hes getting spoilt as by Granma & Granda!
-
Sarah my friends little one has one of those it also vibrates..lol
They are fantastic...
-
Even thought the day is almost over - Happy 5 months Zander and Violet.
Thanks for letting me linger a little longer girls...
Sarah - yay on the scrapbooking! And yay on Zanders new car seat! Matty got weighed again on Tuesday and he is 6.8kg now and 67cms long, I can't wait to turn his carseat around... he is always craning his head up to check out the cars. I am thinking of getting Matty one of those things too, they look like so much fun!
Trish - forgot to mention about the house - big yay for you! A big bath is vital, I am so glad this house has one for you! :)
Tanya - will you stay around the area when you move? Hope you get more sleep tonight.
Dee - glad the boys are having a good weekend. Sorry to hear you are feeling crappy.Get better soon!
Deb - good on you for your night out. Great idea and I hope you enjoyed yourself. A four hour sleep for Gabby while you were out is great!
Bec - what a great day you've had, hope you have plenty more!
Some exciting news here girls.... Matthew in the past 24 hours has got his 2nd tooth, taken a proper drink from the sippy cup of water (not chew the spout) and sat up! He is my little man growing so fast.
-
Gooooo Matty :cheer: Wow, he's had a big day Nell! The car sit-in toy thing I was talking about is very funky, maybe try to convince Matty's grandparents to get it for Christmas! Oh & BTW, there's this girl that should be in the 6month thread, but she's hanging round here still - I think you outta kick her out seeing as you mod this thread ;) Just kidding, we love ya :D
Well I am off to bed, night all, hope all the bubs have good night sleeps for us all!
-
LOL Sarah - cheeky girl! :)
-
-
Yes you!! LOL... couldn't help myself!
Well another crappy night for me... :( (and violet of course). She is stil really sooky.
What temp is a high temp for a baby??
Happy 5months Gab :D
Yay, yay, yay for Matty!! Nell, he is growing up toooo fast!! On the car seat thing... I think if I wre you I would turn it around... If he is anythin like Emily it'll take him aaaages to hit 8kg (I presume that is what you are waiting for).
Sarah... wow at Zander's weight!! He is really stacking it on... still! I suppose he is making up for lost time. Yay for new things too :D
Well, just thought i'd poke my head in...
The girls were ok last night.... they started to annoy me last night when at 10pm they came out with lipstick alll over their faces and they thought it was the funniest thing ever... Wierdo's!!
Tanya
-
Hey Tanya, that reminds me of the "Who Stole The Cookie" song!! LOL at the girls with lipstick everywhere, it's amazing what keeps 13year olds entertained!! Poor Violet having another bad night (and you of course), any chance for a siesta today?
Happy 5 months as well to Miss Gabby Lee :D
-
I don't like my chances of a siesta, Sarah... I have to drop Alecia's friend off soon... then I have 1000000000 things to do #-o
Tanya
-
Sarah - Can I have what your on LOL :D WOW Zander is getting a chubby boy. YAY at doing 3 pages of scrapping =D>
Tanya - I had to look in a couple of books about a week ago to find out what is a high temp for babies as I thought Matthew had a temp anyway the books said 35.7 HTH. Sorry that you had another bad night. LOL at the girls with lipstick all over their faces. Hope your cough gets better soon.
Nell - what a very clever little boy Matty is and all in 24hrs \:D/
Happy 5 months to Miss Gabby
Bec - Hope your having another good day today
Went to bed early last night, I felt exhausted after getting dinner for 6, I was run of my feet plus Matthew was crying for his din dins and Mark hasn`t got the patience with him when he`s crying, so I had to tell him just 10 more minutes and I`m finished now if only someone else could have taken over preparing dinner it would have been fine.
You girls probably remember me saying that I`m sure MIL thinks I`m force feeding Matthew with doing demand feeding with him anyway my thoughts were proven yesterday, she told me that he`s overfull he doesn`t want anymore ](*,) Matthew will feed every 1 - 2 hrs throughout the day and that`s the way he is, MCHN said he obviously needs lots of feeds during the day becuase he sleeps for so long at night. Now I`m paranoid that maybe I`m forcefeeding Matthew but I always thought that a baby would only drink what they want. I think a lot of my MIL but sometimes ](*,)
Take Care

Hi All
Ella cut her first tooth today and has been such a dream. I was under the impression that I would have this horrible screaming child to look after. If all her teeth cut like this, just bring it on.
I have organised the christening and when the tax return comes I will start looking for a nice gown.
My beautiful baby has just woken up, so I must be off.....
-
Happy 5 months Gabby and Zander :)
Deeanne - I told the CYN on Friday that i feed Alex when ever he wants and he takes what ever he wants. I think we all know what our babies want.
Nellbe - Well done to Matthew on doing so well.
Tanya - Hope you are able to get some sleep soon.
Alexander is going ok. He did sleep a bit funny last night started to wake every 3 hours up to 1a.m then slept till 9a.m. Can't wait for him to sleep all night. I went out last night while Paul watched the kids is was so nice to get out without them for a few hours.
Has anyone else started solids yet ??
If not when are you going to start ?
-
Nope, not solids here yet Michelle. Were waiting until 6months. That was a funny sleep last night wasn't it, hopefully he'll be better tonight.
Yay on Ella getting a tooth \:D/ Sounds like it was easy peasy for her!
And what are you implying Miss Deanne???? Sounds like you need an extra hand at home sometimes. If it were me though, I'd turn dinner off & make everyone wait. My ECHN told me that baby's will only eat as much as they wont so I'd also say youre not forcefeeding Matthew.
Had a pretty good day, I went shopping on my own which was odd cos I kept thinking I was missing something!

I agree Dee - I don't think you are force feeding Matthew either. You'll probably find that his feeding habits will change heaps as the weeks go on. I can't believe noone helped you! I would've turned it all off as well and made them wait.
Happy 5 months Gabby!
Michelle - I was going to wait until 6 months but to me and DH he started showing the signs at 5.5 months so I started him then. He seems to be a happier baby for it.
Angie -congrats on the first tooth!
Tanya - I was going to wait until 8 kg but at the rate we are going he will be 9 months before he is there. I shall see how we go, he holds his head fine as you all know as he sits up now. LOL at Alecia and her friends... the things they find amusing.
Sarah - did you do some exciting shopping?
Matty went to his first football match today. My nephew was playing in the semi final so we trapased along as well, he thought it was okay but he didn't like anyone else holding him? Just mummy. Oh well, at least he was good while we were there. Even had a 30 min nap!
