Oh Ambah I soooooo hear you!
We are having the same problem with Liam at the moment and indeed had the same problem with Cairenn at a similar age.
It is indeed frustrating, but all I can suggest is that it will eventually end. With Liam, I am letting him sleep with us until he is in a deep sleep, then I transfer him to his cot again.
We did the same with Cairenn, and she sleeps in her big girl bed now with no problems, although, she does come and try to get into bed with Mum and Dad every now and then, and I just take her back to her own bed or, if it's past 5am, I let her hop in because I know she will sleep through for a LOOOOONNNG time!!
Do you have a spare bed or a blow up mattress?? That might be a solution so you have more space and you don't disturb your partner.
I just reckon they want to know that they are protected, loved and safe and as frustrating as it does sometimes become, I want them to remember when they are older that their parents are there for them always.
Sorry to rabbit on, just this topic is very close to heart at the moment for me too.
Hey, just thought of another solution that my sister did. Do you have enought room in your bedroom for the cot?? If so, can you put it right up against your side of the bed?? What my sister did was put the cot up against her side of the bed with the side rail down. Bubs then was easier to settle, knew Mum was there and you don't have to give up room in the bed.
Hope this helps - please PM me if you have any more questions or just want a BIG hug!
Hi to everyone else - hope you're all ok.

Ok, well I am attempting to get him to nap in his cot atm... I have given him my flat pillow which he normally lies on in our bed, plus his blankie and dummie. He's been in there for 15 mins so far and no screams... he is just chatting to himself... I am [-o< ing that he will talk himself to sleep, LOL!
Ok, time for some personals!
Kelly - sounds like you had a lovely weekend. Can I ask, what sort of place did you go to, to get that crystal etching done? It sounds like such a beautiful idea... I would like to hint at DP to get it done for my next birthday, LOL!
Christy - Well done Matilda for not crying at her injections!! =D> and ROFLMAO at her barking like a dog!!
Oh dear... in the space of about a week we have had 3 babies fall out of bed!! Maybe they are psychic? ;) Glad that she was fine though.
Katanya - good luck with your visit to the Paed today... my thoughts and best wishes go with you and Felix.
I am also using the Motherly cubes... they smell (and taste) great dont they! DP will come into the kitchen and ask me what am I cooking that smells so yummy! However I am having trouble finding the chicken ones, they always seem to be sold out at our local Woolies!
That is fantastic that you got him to sleep in his portacot first go!!! WTG Felix!
Mel - It sounds like Adara is doing really, really well now. That is just fantastic that she is sleeping through the night as well!
OMG that is so hilarious, the way you described her sitting up by herself! What a crack up!!! :smt005
Kathryn - Woohoo at Lachlan, eating 3/4 of that jar!! (they are Big!!) How are you finding him handling the texture??
All of the food I offer Aidyn that is 'coarsely pureed for 6 months +' is too chunky for him. He seems very cautious of it, and gags on it sometimes, so I may try pureeing it a bit more first in my blender.
Goodluck with your housecleaning!! Try not to scub any more floors though... you will need your arms for cooking remember?!? ;)
Ok... this post has taken me over an hour to write. I am having mixed results with trying to get Aidyn to sleep in his cot. He eventually did drift of, with me sitting on the floor next to him, holding his hand through the bars LOL, but he woke up only 15 mins later, crying, so I calmed him down, but now he is just talking to himself again. 15 mins to too short of a nap for him... his usually go for 45mins... not sure whether to take him out of the cot now and try again later, and leave him to see if he will sleep more...
-
Hey Kelli, thanks for your response!
I too have thought of putting a spare mattress on the floor next to our bed, however our spare matress is in the garage, and the bottom end of it has gotten soaking wet from the recent rain!! #-o How annoying!!!
I thought of the 'cot against the bed' option too, but I dont think DP will be too keen on that one, as I think he wants the option to put Aidyn into his own room if we need to...
I have tried waiting for him to go into a deep sleep too... that usually works, but lastnight it didnt, which freaked me out a bit!!
I will keep perservering with the cot, and let you know how it is going.
Thanks for your suggestions :)
-
bugger dp I reckon!!
He's not the one trying to get bubs settled all the time 8-[
bugger about the mattress too.
Best of luck - gotta go try my luck now with 2 kids lol!! What am I going to do with 3????

Hi I am back from my appointment, instead of write everything here I'm going to write a post in the general section in case anyone can give me tips..it's nothing much to report really more tests, and the potential of even more in Brisbane..
Ambah: I'll start with you because I received something in my baby updates (sent from another site) the other day that relates to EXACTLY what you are talking about..
The beginnings of separation anxiety
If your baby is anxious when he's away from you during the day, his concern will be compounded at bedtime. When he wakes up at night, even for a moment, he'll know you're nearby and will be vocal about trying to get your attention. You'll feel torn between the strong urge to scoop him up and take him to bed with you and the voices of those who tell you that to do so is to spoil him. Don't worry: It won't hurt to indulge him occasionally — not always — by bringing him into bed with you. When the separation anxiety disappears, you can teach him to sleep by himself again. Of course, if you've opted for the family bed, you'll always be close at night
I don't think you are a bad mother for chosing to put him in another room, nor leaving him to cry, I just thought this might help you understand what he is going through and feel guiltless about him sleeping with you previously. As you know we believe in the family bed for babies and very young children, but I also know that it's not possible for everyone to do it and get their own much needed sleep.
I firmly believe every mother needs to do what they feel is right for them and their baby WITHOUT any guilty "I should have feelings" because this parenting game is all about trial and error, what works for one set of parents doesn't for another, and our babies don't understand what they "should" do, some of them take longer to do what others find easier. Anyhow HTH!!
Mel I absolutely appreciate the comment as I am pretty clueless when it comes to this solids stuff, it is all a steep learning curve for me as I planned on introducing them VERY slowly, and still am being cautious.
I am so happy that Adara is doing so well, please don't feel like you have slowed her development, she sounded VERY advanced before and still is so don't even worry about that. I have had the same thoughts such as WHY didn't I ask someone about his breathing earlier before this weight problem, but I didn't but now I am, so it will hopefully get sorted from now on. I didn't want to be the OP parent freaking out over every little thing..your return with adara give me hope everything will work out okay!
-
Hey Ambah
I am Kathryn not Katanya LMAO. As for the food I am finding them not too bad actaully, he is taking them really well. Kameron used to choke on them all the time
Took pics last night of Kameron feeding Lachlan lmao. Argh Lachlan is screaming now after a 30min sleep !!! Probably Kameron's fault as Kam has been in a bit of trouble today so he has been having tantrums etc.
Looks like not much housework is going to get done. Can hardly move with the sunburn. Spraying aloe vera onto it every couple of hours to get some movement happening.
Love
-
ouch Katryn!!
tisk tisk [-X LOL!!
hope you feel better soon mate!

Anyone tried their kids on Ribena yet. Lachlan loves it. He has woken up at fair bit the last week during the night Grrr (once only though) and i don't want to give him milk, so have been giving him boiled water with a touch of ribena. By morning the whole bottle is gone and I don't hear boo from him again. So I just make it up before bed now and if he cries just give him the bottle and leave him to it.

katanya I just read your post about all the tests on Felix!! Oh I hope they come up with some answers for you in the next few days! All our fingers & toes are crossed for you!
-
God what alot of action while I was away, I think people posted while I was writing my last post..
Ambah on the issue of sleeping AGAIN! I have my cot against the bed in our room, and he used to sleep really well in it, now I'm just used to having a little body next to me that I don't put him back into it..Tell you DP if the only reason he doesn't want him there is for some "you time" why does that have to be done in a bed anyhow..? why not use this time to be creative, when felix is in our bed and when we don't want to sleep IYKWIM..we go elsewhere...tried it with him awake in the side cot, but I couldn't concentrate!! Boy enough with all the inuendo..shame this isn't the Adults only section! ;)
Well Felix is asleep again..he had a short nap when we got home and woke up really grumpy wanted more boobie, just cracked it when I tried to feed him solids and then when i gave him boobie fell asleep again..in between all this I had to try to get the urine sample...and he was pulling at it (it's a willy bag collector) and crying when I tried to give him other things..*sigh* now he's soundly asleep in his portacot again, and I can relax because I know he can't roll out of it!
Kathryn haven't tried Felix on Ribena, I'm trying to hopefully just stick with water..he might have other ideas as he gets older!
-
Thanks Christy, i must have posted the same time as you..yeah a bit of a unanswered question, not sure what is worse not knowing what is wrong but imagining what could be wrong, or knowing and having to deal with that? I am trying not to do too much of the former because it will lead nowhere..
-
ROFL!!! Sorry Kathryn!!! I will go and change it now! 8-[
Geez that is awful about the sunburn!! poor thing! :(
Katanya - I have replied to your other post... . You are doing really well not to stress so much just yet, it is a hard thing to do - trying not to let your imagination get the better of you... I so, so hope that everything is going to be just fine.
Also, what you wrote in blue there is EXACTLY true... because I just noticed the other day, when I was at my sisters picnic, One of her friends was holding Aidyn, and he started to cry and streched his arms out towards me, like he wanted me to hold him instead! I thought it was really sweet at the time, but I'm thinking that maybe he does get seperation anxiety?! This is making me rethink what to do... and also gives me a better understanding, so I dont feel so frustrated with the situation. I think the extra mattress by the bed might be the way to go... now if only I can dry it out in the sun or something...LOL
I am still going to try to teach him to settle in his cot for naps though, just so he is more used to it.
I will try asking DP about the cot next to the bed... but I still dont think he will go for it... I guess its not just a privacy issue, but space moreso as well... anyway, will just have to see what comes of it, for all I know he might be all for it!!
Thanks so much for your advice!!
-
Ambah, you poor thing! I'm sorry, I can't really give you much advice on this as Adara only ever woke up from hunger during the night and will only sleep in her own cot. Do you have sleep schools up there? I know in Melbourne you can take your baby to a sleep school if your having problems... I'm not sure what kind of advice they give you though. IKWYM about not wanting to let them cry, I also think it makes a difference what sort of baby you have as to whether it works or not. Good luck with it :luck:
Wow Kathryn, you're brave doing Xmas with 2 littlies! Hope the sunburn heals soon!
-
I took MAtilda to the sleep school up here & we did well...but it was really hard because you did have to hear them cry & now I don't do things the same way at all... there are day centres though that you might try Ambah that have CHN's run them...might be worth phoning your closest CHN & discussing it if you want...
-
Just a really quick post as I am so tired tonight and want to get to bed.
Ambah there is a place at Pacific Fair on teh GOld Coast that does the etching ... I know that isnt too close to you but it is a start I guess. I will keep looking and see if I can find one closer to Brisbane for oyu.
Sorry I am no help with the sleep thing ... all of mine have been really good sleepers.
Asha ate dinner tonight ... she had mixed vegetables and apple custard! She loved it all.
Hi to everyone else.
Cheers
-
Hi Girls
We are a quiet bunch today.
Yay for Asha eating her dinner what a good girl !!
Lachlan hasn't had his 3pm bottle for the last 2 days, so looks like he might be dropping that. He was a bit whingy around 3pm but not a FEED ME whinge like he does at other times of days, so I gave him a bottle of ribena and he was quite happy with that, then he had his tea at 5pm.
Today Kam and I had some wedges for lunch again and there wasn't quite enough so I put some chips on with them to grill. Lachlan started going berko so I put three of the soggier chips to one side and let them cool and then gave them to him one by one. He ate the lot !!
Can't wait for him to get stuck into xmas turkey blended with vegetables LOL. Although he has eaten tiny amounts of chicken that i have picked off the bone for him before :)
Anyway DOOL time.

Hi girls! Sorry I've not been around today... been sooo tired and DH took the day off to let me sleep...so I had 11 hours last night & two lay downs today! I even slept for 2 hours during one of them!! I knew I just needed sleep....
Matilda's going well...into EVERYTHING...so its a bit of a chase right now during her crawl time...she crawls straight to what we don't want her to touch... ](*,) All I can keep saying is thank god for the play pen!!
-
It has been quiet today hasn't it?
LOL at Lachlan wanting the chippies, intesting about him dropping a bottle I guess around his age they start prioritising food don't they? Turkey and vegies sounds yummy I have been told to do food before breastmilk but sometimes of the day it works and others it doesn't..he rarely eats well in the morning after his morning BF and I refuse to change it!
Kathryn I was looking at your website for Lachlan, I haven't looked at Kam's sorry, it is so great, I love the rolling sequence..he is such a cutie!!
Christy that is so great your DH took the day off to let you sleep Matilda definitely sounds like full time work..I envy you all that sleep!!WOW! I have a rolly baby who moves around by rolling but it's not as sucessful at getting into trouble as a comando crawler..that will come though!!
Well test results came back for blood, poo and wee..all normal..the CF test hasn't come back yet but it's not likely it'll be positive so it looks like in the new year we'll be up to visit the brisbane paed..
I am getting him weighed tomorrow, it'll be interesting to see if and how much weight he has gained..ribs are still sticking out so it can't be heaps! I fed him fresh mango and yogurt today and he LOVED it!! So exciting!
Still trying to get him interested in chicken, it's just not happening..his favourite foods are still avo, custard and now mango (and yogurt seems to be doing well) I add Flaxseed to everything which is a good fat additive!
I want to ask about tuna tomorrow, because someone told they fed their baby tuna with oil and it is obviously very healthy, I also eat alot of tuna myself so perhaps he has already got the taste from the BM?
-
hmmm I was going to try Matilda on tuna in a couple weeks... just read something about it being okay to puree & try them on...so thats what I was going to do...so hopefully its okay :)
-
Just wanted to share a quick tip I read on another board today ....
instead of saying no all the time or stop to babies who want to get into everything try saying "ONE FINGER" (hard when they are still so young) and then show them how to touch with one finger. They can not do much damage with one finger and they cant pick something up with one finger which means they cant drop it.
HTH someone ... am goign to try it with Asha once she starts moving ... which doesn't look like it will be far off ... during tummy time the other day she tried to use her legs to push herself forward!!! *sigh* okay you can stop growing for a little while baby girl ;)
Cheers
-
Hello ladies
Thanks for the tip Kelly... DP's mother lives on the Gold Coast, so it actually wouldnt be too much trouble to go there and check it out!
Also that touching with one finger tip is interesting too... will have to give that one a go!
I wish Aidyn would eat his dinner... he seems to have a sweet tooth atm... still not liking his veges and meat... maybe if I stop giving him special baby stuff and more of what we eat we will have more luck with him. I let him lick my sandwich today, and he ended up tearing off a chunk with his mouth LOL, plus he ate a couple of tiny morsels of the beef rissoles we had for dinner.
Sleepwise lastnight did not go so badly, he only woke up the once. DP has actually agreed to try putting the cot next to the bed , but we have said we will give it until the weekend to see how things go first. [-o< ing for another good night tonight.
I wish Aidyn would drop a bottle like Lachlan... he is still on 4x200ml a day, but I can usually only get one meal of solids into him as he never usually eats his dinner.
Christy, I'm glad to hear you got some good sleep!! Well done to DP for taking some time off to help you out! =D>
Katanya, that is good news that his tests came back all clear!! Now here's [-o< ing that there will be an all clear from the paed as well. When are you coming up to Brisbane?
Ok, sorry if I have missed anyone, but its nearly midnight and I need some shut-eye!!!!
-
Hi Girls
I hear you about the kids only wanting sweet stuff. Lachlan was like that too and only but after persistance he is now into eating the savoury.
Thanks for the compliments on Lachlan's website Katanya :) I really must update but will wait till after xmas now
I like the one finger idea too Kelly, will have to try that myself when Lachlan starts touching stuff he isn't meant too. Only thing he is touching atm is the dog water and food, so he gets a firm "No" for that.
Hey Ambah they recommend kids this age to have at least 700ml of formula or breastmilk a day (that is what it says in my heinz book anyway) So with Lachlan dropping a bottle technically he is only getting 600ml. But I have upped his night bottle by 50ml and he has custard and yoghurts during the day to make up the other 50ml
I have had a two day headache againg ARGH I think it is the stupid weather, jeans and jumpers on one day and not much on the next. Least it isn't a migraine just an annoying headache.
Anyway I should toodle off and get some jobs done before it warms up to 38c.
Kelli D - how are things going over in the warm Kalgoorlie haven't heard from you in here for a little while. Unless i have missed it.
Love
-
Christy that is good news about the tuna, I really love it so I thought it would be good. I'm going to ask the MCHC nurses today help me a bit more with his diet, as to what variety etc..and trying to keep it as heathy as possible.
Kelly that is a GREAT tip about the touching rule..I try to say gentle when he can touch but not grab and take it away if he can't touch at all..they say they have a 3 second memory at this age anyhow..mostly I just try to redirect him but I will try that one finger thing when he's deciding to on his own..
Ambah, interesting about him eating off your plate, they do say that is more ideal, why don't you put your desired food for him on your plate>? or even what you are doing sounds fine.
Good luck with the cot next to the bed, if you keep him in it then at least later on you just ahve to move it back, I know that Felix just like to have his eyes on me ATM due to the separation anxiety..I can't even go to the toilet alone when he's awake!
The appointment for the chest specialist paed will be in the new year(will be arranged in 2 weeks), perhaps when I am up I might try to organise to meet up with you girls? Depending on when it is of course. Then again last 2 times I have seen Gold Coast Paed I've had to have heaps of tests following the appoint so it probably wouldn't be safe to organise something the same day?
Ambah if you do come down for that crystal thing let me know and we can do coffee at Pac fair?
Kathryn I hope that headache goes away for you, could just be all the build up till christmas and changes in weather as you say..just hope things feel better before christmas for you
Felix is having a sleep in (it's 7.50!!) because he woke me up at 4am this morning and decided to babble on and pull my hair, I just rolled over and ignored him and eventually he decided he's have something to eat and fall asleep again..cheeky monkey!
-
Howdy Ladies!
Man, I am soooooo tired and sooooooo over having headaches. I am seriously counting down the days until the end of the first trimester in the hope that these headaches will go. I only get an hour or so reprieve each day and it is starting to get on top of me. Any hints on how to get on top of it besides rest, water, panadol and panadeine would be greatly appreciated. I never had them this bad with the other kids, much less.
Liam still has a gunky eye. He's been on the drops/ointment for over a week now. You would think it should be gone by now. Will toddle off to the doctor again me thinks.
Kathryn, Kal is actually going to have a nice temperature today - 30. Almost a cold spell lol!! See that SA is going to be hot today. Hope you're near good aircon.
Ambah - I'll glad you have been given the bed/cot trial go ahead. Hope it works.
Sorry, I gotta go. I can't concentrate. :-({|=
Seeya
Hope you are all ready for the big day - 2 sleeps!!
-
Hi :)
AARGHHH!!!!! Just got right to the end of my post and then I lost it all!!!!! Here we go again....
Kathryn, yeah hot chips are Adara's favourite food! Ahh, I had all these high hopes before I had her - no junk until she's atleast 5 yrs old, no tv, etc. but when you're eating and they're going crazy for it, how can you not give them some? He sounds like a great little eater! Really hope those headaches stop for you soon, although being a Melbourne-ite I can't sympathise about the weather! Today is going to be 34 but I'm sure it'll get cold again in a day or so!
Christy, wow sounds like you really needed that sleep! Must be all that running around after Matilda! Your DH is wonderful!
Katanya, glad the tests have been ok so far. I'm sure the CF one will be fine, too. Adara had really bad separation anxiety for a while too but it only lasted for a few weeks. Hopefully he'll settle down for you soon too, I know how hard it can be with an extremely clingy baby!
Kelly, that's a great idea with the 1 finger. Will definately give it a go.
Well, Adara's well and truly on the move now! She had been mobile but contained to around a 2 metre radius, so just went from toy to toy in the family room. On Tuesday night, I went to the toilet when she suddenly realised that she could actually go anywhere now that she's crawling properly and came out to find me sitting on the toilet! She just sat there and giggled for ages, so proud of herself and for shocking me. Now she's into absolutely everything, especially things she shouldn't be (like inside the coffee table to eat all the magazines and the xmas pressies and tree). I'm such a bimbo sometimes, I really didn't think that it'd be much different when she got more mobile than she was! What was I thinking??? I was offered a playpen when she was a newborn and for some stupid reason, I didn't take it so we're off to buy one in the next few days! For now I'm putting her in a portacot but she gets frustrated as it's so small.
She's been teething again the last 2 nights, looks like she might get her 2 front teeth for Xmas!
As Xmas is an epic event starting on Xmas Eve and finishing on Boxing Day for us, I probably won't get any time to come back here soon, so MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!
-
Kelli I am a bad sufferer of headaches, just ask Ambah she usually hears me complain LOL. The one thing that helped minimise them was Yakult !! I don't know why but it worked for me and I also know of a guy who said the same thing. Maybe give it a whirl. After it all it is good for you ;)
I don't think it is going to reach the 38 predicted top today. We are in WNW winds which is keeping it mild. So unless they swing back to Nor Easters then it wont be happening at 11.20am we are sitting around 31c with light cloud cover, and the winds are sitting more westerly now which means the change is inbound. :)
Anyway enough about the weather or i will be here all day LMAO
Love
-
Have a great Xmas Mel. Woohoo at Adara getting two front teeth for xmas. :)
Come to think of it after tonight I probably wont get a chance to get on either !!! Bah when do i not get online LMAO. I will find time :D

Hi girls.... I started to type a post earlier & lost it and then went away as this is the warmest room in the house & I couldn't stand all the sweat...LOL so the air con's been on for a while & I left this door open so I could stand to be here... ANYWAY...
Kelly - that is a great rule with the one finger... hmmm have to figure that one out very very soon around here...
Matlida is so quick now!! She'll go right past the 50 things she's allowed to touch to the one thing she's not! This morning I left her with DH for 2 minutes to go to the loo & I came back in the room, he was packing his bag & she was splashing in the dog water bowl so proud of herself #-o She loved it & DH didn't even notice!! Oh well... yesterday he did everything so I guess he can have today off! LOL! So I couldn't figure out what to say... I tried distractions & replacing the bowl for something she could have but she just kept going for the bowl, and then screamed when we wouldn't let her near it...oh dear... same with the cables for the speakers she will go straight for them & pull them laughing her head off & when we try to replace it or distract her she gets soooo stroppy... Today we went to put her in her play pen & she got really cranky with us as we just needed 5 minutes to ourselves... but at least in the play pen we know she won't be into EVERYTHING... its a new life!
katanya- maybe we can catch up before the appt?? like hang out in the park or something before you have to go... &
Ambah if you want to do the crystal thing, let me know as my best friend lives over near pac fair too and maybe I can drive you & have coffee with katanya & then hang out with my friend & drive you home.... it just takes a bit of organising, which I'm not too good at the moment for, but I'm sure we can do it easy enough!
-
oh Matilda just tried a cup today & loved it!!!
-
wooohoo Matilda. What a big girl you are !!! Lachlan steals out of Kameron's cup occasionally and Kameron freaks if he catches him LMAO. I will have to get the other sippy cup out one of these days.
Love
-
LOL definately will have to have one of his own! LMAO at Kam!! I just thought it might be fun as I have one here & she keeps trying to drink my water so I thought I'd give her some cooled boiled water in hers & it became fantastic... especially pouring water on the dogs...that made her laugh. :D

Wheew..wow what a busy day in here!
Well before I reply to anyone else, I'll tell you all first..NO CF!! I had Felix weighed this morning and the clinic nurse said..oh wouldn't it be interesting if the CF got missed at the Heel *****..I said no it wouldn'yt be 8-[ but finally got the results back this avo, Paed rang me with results and..all normal..thank god..so we'll be back to investigations in the New Year..
unfortunately he has lost weight..10 grams..I had a feeling he had..due to him crying at every meal..doesn't want to eat either now..
Okay firsty WELCOME MICHELLE!! Another queenslander!! Hooray!! Christy and Ambah are from Brissy and I'm from the Gold Coast
Kathryn that is so cute about Lachlan sneeking Kam's cup..it always tastes better from someone's things!
Christy Matilda is SO clever , better her drink from the cup than the dog bowl!
I would love to see you guys while I'm in Brissy, we can organise it when I find out when the appointment will be.
Ambah, I hope you come down here for that crystal thing now, they sound SO cool, I've never seen them at Pac Fair, but i don't go there very often as it's so big! Would be fun to meet you both for coffee there!
I have been trying to finish this post for over and hour..so I think i should quit while I'm ahead and post it now..Felix went for a short nap woke up grump and tired..tried to resettle him but it's a no go!
-
Michelle I tried to check out Ashlynn's website but I needed a password? :-s can we have a looky see??
-
Hello all! I am off to work this morning with Matilda but I just thought I'd post before I went & wish you all a Happy Christmas! & I hope you all get a chance to unwind a bit! Well.... hopefully Kathryn once everyone leaves you'll get to unwind! :)
Went to our first 1st birthday party yesterday and it was fun.. Matilda was unwrapping all the pressys #-o but the one year old wasn't into it too much so they worked like a team...Matilda unwrapping & Mia was playing with the toys...LOL! But Matilda LOVED the Xylophone that Mia got and played with it for 20 minutes!! Full on concentrations...LMAO! better get her some musical equipment quick smart!
-
Yay Katanya - glad Felix's result came back clear. Hopefully you will get some answers soon. Hope he's not too grumpy for you today!
Christy - lol at Matilda opening the presents!! My kids love music and I have got a heap of percussion instruments for them. Just go to a music shop, quite often they have el cheapo instruments which are perfect. Go for stuff like marraccas, triangle, tamborine, claves (tapping sticks) etc etc. She will have a ball.
Well, I must be off. Mark might be home early from work today so I better get cracking on the surprise I am cooking for him!!
Merry Christmas and I bet we are all hanging out for our little ones' first Christmas!! I just have to keep Liam away from the paper or he will eat it!!
Best wishes
-
Just popped in to wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy new year! :D
