gosh you girls can talk!
im just popping in quickly - will type more later on - eliana has a stuffy nose so is very clingy & im hoping it won't get worse cause her christening is this sunday
just a quick question - when did you start giving your babies water?
promise to type more next time :D
-
Bon_ I sympathise with the pulling up baby, Jessica started doing it a few days befoe she turned 7 mths and I was not impressed. Yay on 3 teeth. I hope you guys have a great night at Grease, I think it should be awesome. I would love to go to some live shows, Arron is all like "I'm not watching **** like that!" Not that he's really ever been to anything like it but that's a man for you.
Mel- I have given Jessica water when she wouldn't settle and the MCHN suggested it to help with constipation in the very early weeks. I guess if it is hot then in bewtween bottle you can offer water. I guess the thing is for us that with 4 bottles a day to drink Jessica never seems to need it, but we ae in VIC so it's not as hot as QLD. Have you asked the MCHN?
I have busted my arse rearranging the study today and I must say it looks terrifc, decluttered Dasch I think you should be proud of me! LOL. There is only the tv unit, the comp desk and a small stand for the printer, as well as the 2 kids ull out couches. I have performed a miracle. The lounge is also decluttered with our new furniture. We need a really cheap video player for the kids in the study and then it's done. Shame the rumpus room is collecting all the junk for the garage sale. Oh well you can't win em all.
Not much happened here other than that, Arron went to the DRs and he is off footy for about 3wks, so that's good cos we are out every Sat night between then and now. Thank goodness for a break.
Anyway must fly, other places to check out.
best wishes Michelle
-
Sorry Mel- almost forgot to say hope Eliana feels better and the christening goes well.
Best wishes Michelle

Hey gals,
Didn't get to write on here yesterday (my "offical" last day in this forum), and I don't have too much time now, but I thought I'd just pop in and say goodbye. I hope your bubs do really well over the next few months, and I look forward to seeing you all again when we're in the same forum.
Big hugs to you and your bubs,
Love from Kellee and Charlie.
-
Bye Kelle and Charlie *sniff* We will miss you, don't worry I only have 20 days left in here myself.
I am partly cleaning today partly searching ebay for Collingwood stuff for Josh for his bday, which isn't until July but thought I'd see what's around, and Jessica refused to eat lunch the bugger, so not sure what's going on there and jemma is coughing her lungs out, I knew she shouldn't have swam yesterday,oh well she won't be going next week, give her time to get over it.
Must fly cos i am also at a site looking at kids clothes. LOL
So much for cleaning.
Cheers Michelle
-
hi girls
golly we all posted at the same time the other night lol.
kellee and charlie - bye bye see you soon - another month for me.
michelle - sounds like you are busy, makes me think i should really do something here, i reckon i could make a fortune on ebay selling stuff that i dont need or use lol. hope jemma is feeling better soon and bugger about jessica not eating her lunch - lani is also not eating much at all, so if she refuses what i offer then i just give her a piece of pear or a cruskitt which she eats ](*,) looks like another fussy eater in our place - oh well 1 good eater out of 3 aint to bad i guess.
bon - hooray on 3 teeth for grace - lani is on and off cutting her top 2 atm , i thought they would be well and truly here by now considering the start of the week her cheeks were really red and her gums so swollen - seems to have settled down now - wow on the pulling up early to - hmm wonder who will be first to walk jessica or grace - i know michelle won't be in any hurry for jessica to walk lol.
sorry to dach and mel - can't go back far enough on posts and not sure if i have answered them ](*,)
well not much news here - have a busy couple of weekends with kids birthday parties - ahh next weekend there are 2 from kinder one on saturday and one on sunday - what a social life my boy has lol.
lani is crawling or slugging (as we affectionately call it here lol) so fast now - and she is so much happier (if that could be possible lol - she is a happy little chook but when she is tired and cranky we all know about it but with her moving around she starts to crack it then discovers something to distract her. today she was busy pulling up on the window ledge (they are floor to ceiling windows) so not much to pull up on but she can see her reflection in the window and she loves it - she gets such a little infectious giggle happening way cute.
anyway i am going to keep reading all the news in the other forums hope you all have a good weekend. lani is getting her 8mth check on monday can't wait to see her weight - wonder if we can turn that car seat around - not likely i reckon - i predict she will be around 7.5 kgs well see lol.
night night
-
HI Michelle
You are right about me not wanting to win that race, now if jessica had of been my second, I would have been pushing her to walk but not this time. Then my baby will be gone. I hope y9ou have better luck in the weight dept than me, We were 120gms off 8kgs. But i am turning the seat next Tuesday or prob wedsnesday as my gastroscopy is Tuesday so I prob won't have time to do it that day. I am sure that she will be near enough to 8kgs by then, plus she is sooo strong, as can be seen from all the things she does, so I am sure she will be fine.
Anyway better go and get on the couch with Arron, he will be sooking soon that he is sitting by himself and i am on here.
Cheers Michelle

HI girls
looks like the weekend was busy, not much action in here.
jemma had a temp sat morning but improved in the arvo so we went to my aunties to see my cousin who was over from WA. Luckily I tookl the thermometer and the panadol cos, Jess had a temp too, 38.8 and then she vomited all over me, so I had to give her 2 lots of panadol, she went down fine last night. She has a runny nose so I have put vicks on her chest/back, and she had a mild temp at midday so i gave her panadol, and tonite she was super sooky, I thikn it is teeth related aas her mouth is really swollen, poor bugger. So I have 2 with colds/runny noses, and Jemma is also coughing. No swimming for Jemma this week.
I have my gastroscopy on Tuesday and am just wishing it was over already. I have been a little emotional about it as I am worried they will find something sinister adn though I know that is not a helpful attitude it is tough to stop that thought process.
Anyway hope you all have had a great weekedn, I did some more cleaning, got the dresser cleaned out and it looks lovely, but at the moment most of the junk is on the dingin table, oh well I will get to that tomorrow arvo, as I have my visit to josh's grade tomorrow, so won't be home until11.45. Half the day is gone, although I may not go in depending on the babies, see how they sound in the morning.
Cheers Michelle

Hi all
Good luck tomorrow Michelle, I hope that everything is fine.
Grease was great, the cast were fantastic and of course seeing John Farnham as teen angel was a highlight. The night didn't start off well though as I got a call from my mum saying my grandmother was in hospital and I should visit because she might not have much time left. She has been declining for a while but seeing her in hospital she was so frail. I am feeling ok about it though, she is still with us and I am not thinking too much about the prospect of her leaving us - I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
On a lighter note I have uploaded some new photos to Grace's website if you want to have a peek. It's only taken about 3 months for me to do it!
-
hi ladies
michelle - bummer about jemma and jessica not being well, hope they both feel alot better to. i hope everything goes well with you tomorrow, it will be good to know what is giong on since you have had a few problems for ages - hoping all is ok on that front - am sure it will be.
bon - i would love to see grease - was craig mclaughlin in that one or is he only in it in melb. not sure - i saw him on dentons enough rope a few weeks ago and i am ashamed to say that when he was henry i thought he was pretty cute and cool - now i dunno i get the feeling he bats for both sides, he seems to be a bit weird. anyway lucky you for getting to go. so sorry about your grandmother it is so hard when they get old and frail, my grandmother is 88 now and still can be a nasty piece of work lol she puts alot of people down and *****es alot about everyone i just nod and agree poor thing she is so bitter.
well lani had her 8mth check today and yup she is still a featherweight lol - she now weighs 7kg and is 70cm (i can't remember head) anyway she is well proportioned so thats good - mchn said i could turn her seat around in the car if i want but i think i will just leave it for a little while - she doesn't seem to mind facing the rear. i also asked health nurse about rollover bottle and she told me that lani will stop it when she is ready hmmm i thought what she is just going to tell me mummy i don't want that bottle anymore lol - i will just keep on doing it until she is eating solids a bit better. health nurse also mentioned that i should be giving her cereal and toast for breaky holy cow i only have time to manage a few spoonfuls of rice cereal lol am always rushing around, she also said i can start with weetbix typical just brought another box of cereal for her so i guess i will finish that off also. so i am going to concentrate on giving lani more food than milk - i will feed her first in the morning but during the day she will start having her food before her milk (although i haven't today lol) she also mentioned i could start the follow on formula arhh i was told i didn't need to change but she said it has more protein or something in it - i can't remember what to do shall i just start her on a new can of the #2 formula or should i mix it with the #1 first.
oh and my friend had a baby boy this morning (her 3rd boy) am stocked can't wait to see her - probably go tomorrow night ohh i get to cuddle a new born again woohoo, golly i will be clucky when i get home lol.
anyway am off to check out the other forums and get my pumpkin soup blended up - going to give it to lani for dinner hopefully she will eat it.
see yas

HI Michelle
Jessica was 7.88kgs at 8mths but Lani is longer than Jessica. Interesting that the MCHN said turn the seat around too. I was going to do it tomorrow but I guess I'll wait till wednesday now. Both girls still aren't 100% so we didn't go to Josh's class today, don't want to pass it around to everybody else.
Having a roast tonight, cooked by Arron, so that is nice for my "last meal " LOL. I am not worried really about the proceedure only about bad results. I am pretty sure too it is no huge problem but it's just so hard being unwell for so long.
I give Jessica 1 weetbix for brekky but not really toast, only occasionally. If you have just brought a new can of formula then just use it up and maybe when it is almost gone give a couple of old formula and a couple of new formula bottles and sort of introduce it that way. That's what I did when I introduced cows milk with my others. Jessica hasn't really been eating much the last couple of days cos of teeth but I am not worried.
Anyway gotta go and work bf MR CHEF has a sook about the table having **** on it.
I'll let you know how I go sometime tomorrow.
Cheers Michelle
-
Hi everyone, I hope you're all well.
Michelle, I hope you're little girls are feeling better now. Good luck with your gastroscopy tomorrow :luck: :luck: . I hope its not too uncomfortable for you and fingers crossed :crossfingers: :crossfingers: that your results come back with nothing serious. Do you have to fast for it?
Bon, wow at Grace pulling herself up!!! What a clever little girl. Yasin still doesn't have any teeth but he's got a couple of little white lumps in his gums now so maybe not too long. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.
Kellee, it won't be long before we're in the same forum again.
Mel, I started giving Yasin water at the same time as I started giving him solids. He's got a sippy cup and a bottle that he can hold (one of those ones with a hole in the middle). I mainly let him hold the water himself rather than doing it for him. I hope her christening goes well.
Michelle, lol at slugging. Yasin is going further and faster by the day. He's obsessed with our phones and remote controls and if we keep moving them a tiny bit out of his reach he can crawple for meters but if we put the bait down a couple of meters away he doesn't think he can go so far so he doesn't really bother chasing it. When he realises how he can travel we're in trouble.
We've already turned the car seat around because Yasin kept getting grumpy and didn't look very comfy. He's a much happier traveller now he's facing forwards.
lol at all the talk of the baby mop add. I often think of it but but since I've got carpet it wouldn't work in my place. I'm amazed at how hairy my carpet is. Now that Yasin is more mobile he picks up so much hair. I think I might need a new vacuum. DH's office is even grottier. I took Yasin in and let him go on the floor because he kept struggling to get down and when I picked him up his clothes were all grimey eeewww!!!
I'd better go because DH is muttering about his heart being broken because his wife loves the computer more than him yada yada yada:roll:
-
hi again
i am bored lol just waiting to give little miss her bottle lol
yum yum on the roast michelle - the only time paul will cook a roast is in the weber (and i still have to carve it - he is a hopeless carver lol)
i forgot to mention that my mchn said in america they apparently are facing backwards until 12mths - so she said it is totally up to me, the later the better i guess, she is quite happy going backwards now so i may leave it, just a hastle with getting her in and out.
i made pumpkin soup today and gave a bowl to lani - she loved it yay, i have decided i am basically going to give her mushed up of whatever we eat - am not cooking seperately for her, going to get her used to grown up food lol - and we don't have anything to extravagent cause jay wouldn't eat it, if i have anything spicy i will just give the kiddies noodles.
it is amazing dach on the amount they pick up when they are slugging around - that is why i hate crawling, i figure they may as well be walking as they are getting around, at least when walking they don't get as filthy lol.
oh yeah mel - i introduced water to lani at around 4mths, i give it to her in a spill proof cup if we are out and about and when she is safely in her highchair she has it in a normal cup and just makes a mess but hey she is learning lol. should have seen her today, avocado on toast mashed through fingers and over face - and a lovely puddle of water on high chair tray - was great for squishing her hands through lol.
anyway nearly time to give the little miss her bottle, goodluck again for tommorrow michelle.
-
Hey everyone! Sorry haven't posted for ages. I have been very slack.
Anyway wanted to say good luck to Michelle.
Will try to post more later. Alana has woken and will want something to eat.
-
michelle - hope all went well at the drs - cant imagine it would be much fun but im sure by now it is over & done with - how is jemma going today?
bon - checked out grace - she is a cutie - i saw grease when it toured in the big black tent in the round & it was awesome - how was magda?
mooshie - lol about lani being a featherweight - eliana was 5.1kgs born so everyone thought she would stay huge but she is 7.6kgs now & 71cms long (my nephew is 3mons old & is only 300grms lighter) far out about the breakfast thing - im flat out getting time to eat that myself!
dach - how is the human mop going? lol about your DH & your love for the computer
we are back from the sunshine coast where we had eliana's christening - it went really well & i know im biased but she looked beautiful
she has a bit of cold still & wasn't much impressed when the wave hit her at the beach though loved all the animals at australia zoo (kicked a goat in the head) & was fascinated with the fish at underwater world
i will have to try her on some water - im liking all the extra foods she can try now she is over 6months - i had to laugh when i gave her a rusk, eliana just sucked it in & out of her mouth hands free!!
hope everyone is having a great day :D

Hi girls,
I am home and all is well. It was really nice to see the friendly face of my Gp and the dr that delivered the last 3 kids was there as the anethitist (I know I can't spell it , bad luck). He promised he would make sure i woke up as then Arron wouldn't take him fishing. I also asked him about ymy dizzy head and he thinks it is vertigo, which would be right according to the way it feels something to do with the middle ear, but he said I will always have that (GREAT) and he felt the sore spot on my ribs and said to get the dr to take a look next chance I get, seems it could be a muscular thing. The actual gastroscopy found NOTHING! No ulcer no irritation nothing. Which sort of isn't too helpful cause I have something which isn't right. When I was on a zantac type meds it went away so maybe it is just gastric reflux. I am to go back to the drs in 2 wks and then we will follow up everything else.
Anway Jemma is a little better, but Jessica's nose is running like a tap, which is most disgusting esp when it is running into her mouth YUCK! Arron dry reaches when he is wiping her nose.
I have been a bit vague with replies so:
Bon- so glad Grease was good, and I hope you r grandmother is better today.
Mel- so good that the christening went well, and lol at the wave and the goat.
Dasch - Idid have to fast with the gastroscopy, from 12am and I didn't get in til after 12 pm so I was starving. Arron and I snuck into the pub for a counter lunch before going home, didn't tell mum as she would have been annoyed. LOL What's worse there was this delay while the equipment was being fixed and I got to watch all the nurse and drs have their lunch and morning tes as well.
Hello- Lara- how's Alana going, good I hope. Have you had her weighed lately?
Anyway gonna go and do something, what exactly I don't know. May be back later
Cheer Michelle

Just thought I'd see if anyone else had been on, and not yet! I am a little uncomfortable, with a sore stomach area, I guess tenderness is to be expected. Or maybe it is hunger! I just took panadol so hopefully it will ease off and maybe improve once I have eaten.
Cheers Michelle
-
michelle glad to hear it went well but bummer that you are still sore - hope they find out what is wrong soon - your poor girls noses!!
-
great news michelle that everything is okay, i have been wondering about you today.
i have just got home so jumped on to make sure everything was good with you.
just waiting around till roughly 11pm to give lani her bottle.
well i went and saw my friends bub he is sooooooo cute i am soooooo clucky - he is under lights as he has jaundice quite bad (her other 2 did to) and there were 2 sets of twins in the nursery as well, just being back at a maternity ward made me so want another - i am one crazy girl lol, oh to cute, i better have a word to dh lol
goodnight
-
Hi Michelle
LOL at the cluckiness, best I don't go near the baby nursery then, as I would want more too, MUST NOT THINK THAT! I don't NEED more, I just love babies though. Hope your dh thinks the idea is a good one too.
I had a bit of pain this morning, I think it is a combo of wind/gas and hunger. I have had brekky and it has gone away.
Jessica is so snotty it is driving all of us batty, and she has that mjorning cough. I feel for her, but not much I can do, the snot is clear which is why I haven't had her to the drs yet, see what happens I guess.
Anyway hope you all have a great day, best be off to do something
Michelle

Michelle good to hear things went well. Its good they didn't find anything. I had a gastroscopy, gee about 7 years ago, due to a reflux feeling that I was having. It was making me so uncomfortable. Anyway they found nothing. I moved to a different department in the Bank I was working for and it went away. I think it was stress. Hope your doctor can come up with something that maybe causing this.
Alana is doing well. She has a weigh in at the start of June and then she has a paed app. She had her flu shot a couple of days ago and she didn't even cry. She has a new noise which sounds like she is saying mum mum mum. I love it. Frank reckons she is saying bum bum bum. Idiot! You think he would just amuse me.
Mooshie my friend just had a baby 2 weeks ago and I gotta say it made me clucky. Then I forgot a couple of pills this month and panicked. Luckly AF showed up today. Phew! I think Frank was a little disapointed. I want to lose all my weight and get myself healthy before TTC again. We said Jan 2006 to TTC.
Okay going to check out the other forums. Bye!
-
hi girls
how are we all? are you feeling better now michelle.
iris don't you just love the way the bubbies babble to cute - lani is always making a noise a cross between ga ga and mum mum so i say she is saying mum lol.
well wonders will never cease LANI ROLLED BACK TO FRONT - yup that is right it has only taken her this long to figure it out lol, we all missed it though - she had just eaten dinner so i put her on her back cause if she goes off on her tummy and starts slugging around she leaves little chucks everywhere lol. anyway she was looking like she was going to roll and jay and i were encouraging her but nup thought she isn't going to do it, so i went and ran her bath i came back to hear jay say lani don't crawl over here - hang on i said did she roll he looked and said yup but didn't see it, so we all missed it - she looked pretty pleased with herself. i must lower the cot down to the bottom level now just in case she tries to pull up next lol.
i made her the best dinner and she loved it - basically 1/4 of a small onion fried in a little butter, then cooked up some diced chicken and added chopped up sweet potatoe and apple then around 200ml of chicken stock (unsalted) - she gobbled it up \:D/ yay that is three meals i know she likes now - making it a bit easier.
anyway have a good night all - chat soon
-
Hello girls, just poking my head in - I will join you on Saturday!! I can't believe Wolf will be 6 months in 3 days!! I was looking at a video today of when he was a few weeks old and it's almost like he's a different baby now!
we went for our second baby swimming lesson today. Wolf loved it and DH made the cutest videos and photos. I sent of a bunch to all the grandparents, aunts and uncles everywhere in the world.. I'm sure tomorrow I will get a few "please stop clogging up my server" mails :D ... but I just can't help it - he is sooooooooooo cute (i know, i'm biased...)
he he, Iris, IKWYM - I get so clucky when I hear stories from my p/g friends but when I thought I might be p/g 5 weeks ago, I was really freaking out a bit... (but it was just really bad PMS, lol)
Chat to you on Saturday!
Snowy
-
good to read that lani has finally got the knack of rolling - hopefully you will see it next time - eliana doesn't roll much she moves around lying on her side (very strange & funny to watch) she loves to be standing up in her exersaucer or sitting up - she really cracks it if i lie her on the floor - so have no idea how she will work out how to crawl
lol snowy at you popping in - see you in 3 days!
we still have colds - though i have almost lost my voice - eliana is still happy though a bit whingy at times cause she wants to be held alot - oh well any excuse not to do housework :D
-
hi everyone
well jay is at kinder and lani is asleep and what am i doing on this puter lol - i really should do a little round the house oh well.
snowgirl - wow wolf at nearly 6mths gees time really does fly doesn't it. so glad he loves his swimming, i often watch the babies and mums swimming when i should be watching ds swim lol and think gees i should do that with lani but it is a cost factor here - ds costs $130 per term, add on top kinder fees and auskick can be a bit expensive. so i guess lani will have to wait for a couple of years lol oh well not to worry.
mel - i never thought lani would ever roll from back to front, she first rolled front to back at around 6wks and did it very occassionally but she just could not get the hang of rolling back to front and she actually began crawling around 1mth ago so it is really bizarre - she used to just crack it on her back cause she wanted to be on her tummy but she wouldn't make the effort lol.
i put lani in a jolly jumper the other day to cute she looks like a thunderbird - she only likes it for a max of 10mins but it is good to put her in if she is a little cranky cause then she forgets why she is cranky.
well i suppose i better go and do something to this brothel of a house whilst ds is at kinder - hate doing when he is at home as he wants to help and likes to sweep the floor - arhh she sweeps it all back very frustrating.
anyways have a good night - i won't be on as the amazing race is on - gotta get my fix lol.
see ya
-
Hi girls,
Lara- wouldn't surprise me if my probs are stress related, all started when Jessica was about 8wks old. $ kids and a dh is stressful thats for sure.
And cluckiness is so easy to catch. Just a question about the Cf and future kids, what is the chance that your next bub will have it too?
Michelle- I am feeling ok, just that I have this strange pain in the left side of my chest, which I was very concerned about last night. Thought it was maybe my heart but more likely its muscular. I am a walking hypo I reckon LOL Yay at Lani doing the roll and typical you didn't see it.
Hi Snowy, you come and I only have 12 days left. How sad for me! Good to hear Wolf is doing well.
Hi Mel and Eliana
Anyway gotta go, Josh has swimming and I am hoping to get out of here on time, plus I have to change Jess, she stinks!
Cheers michelle
-
Mooshie Yay for Lani. Alana has the opposite problem. She hates being on her stomach. She last maybe 2-3 minutes and then we have to help flip her back over. How the hell is she suppose to crawl if she won't go on her stomach?!
Michelle for every pregnancy we have a 1 in 4 chance of that baby having CF. It was a big decision whether we would have another, but we really wanted a brother or sister for Alana. We were told we could have an amnio to test for CF so we could make a decision, but we wouldn't terminate anyway. We would only have a amnio so that we could be prepared before baby arrives. Everyone in the Cf community seem pretty confident of a cure. We were actually told by Alana's paed that he thought it would be even in Alana's life time. I guess you have to hold on to something.
My sil had herself tested for the Cf gene and it came back positive. It must have taken her breath away. Her husband is now geting tested. They have a 12 month old. You just never know.
-
hi girls
where is everyone, not much chatting done atm lol.
i am feeling crappo - i think i may be getting a uti, haven't had one for years but i feel really weird down below - almost like the sensation of having bubs head real down low - i just wanna pee all the time - wahh, i am taking ural to see if that helps but on the box it says about stinging but it doesn't hurt to pee so i don't know if it could be a uti or not ](*,) am off to docs on tuesday for lani's phneucoccal (or however it is spelt) and the good old pap for me - so if hasn't cleared up will mention to doc.
nothing much is happening atm same old same old. busy day tommorrow - auskick for jay followed by a birthday party for a kinder friend, i just want to catch up on all my washing lol - i can't seem to catch up even though the weather is fine ah well.
anyway i am gonna go pee lol then get back on and have a gander at what is happening in the other forums.

Hi girls
Michelle- it is quiet isn't it! Well I am most annoyed as today was my wall buddies party/demo. I had heard nothing from the lady doing it since I booked it on the 17th May, and she didn't even send me invitations to give out or anything. I called her twice around the end of May and she didn't return my calls. So I heard on the grapevine that she was thinking of cancelling my party (that was Weds) but she didn't ring me, so I had 6 girls here waiting for her and she never showed up. I called the number I had for her at 1.30pm and left a message on anwering machine saying I was waiting for her and to please ring me, and then when everyone left I left a message telling her I was very angry, annoyed and upset, that I had 15 people here waiting and that she hadn't showed (ok I told a lie there but I don't care), and I told her that I couldn't believe how rude she was and that I would be ringing head office to put in a complaint. Now I also know that this lady has been having marraige problems, but if she had of rang me anytime in the last 4-5wks and said she couldn't do the demo and if she had of tried to get someone else to do it then I wouldn't have minded, but to just not trun up when I have people here, GRRRRRR!
We are going to see my cousins new dd tonight and can't wait. SHe is 2 and a half wks old. I am annoyed though cos Arron is already drinking and I am feeling a little yucky, hope it's not the flu! I really am not sure if I can drive, and I shouldn't have to if I'm sick but you watch, I will have to.
Anyway have a good weekedn everyone.
-
Hi everyone, its quiet in here isn't it.
Wolf, happy half-birthday!!! I hope your mum gives you a big squeezy hug from me.
Snowy, baby swimming is fun isn't it!! Yasin looks so funny doing it. I especially like the bits where he gets dunked underwater he looks so funny coming up although he's getting more used to it now so he doesn't look so suprised as he did the first few times.
Michelle, how bloody rude of the demo lady, she needs a swift kick to the backside by the sounds of it. I hope you're not coming down with anything.
Michelle, yay for Lani finally deciding to roll. I hope that you don't have a uti.
We nearly have teeth here they're starting to cut through the gums!! I'm not sure how long it takes from starting to show to actually popping out but I hope its not too long because he's a bit grumpy at the moment. He's also moving around at great speed, he doesn't crawl, instead he gets up on all four throws himself forward and then repeats the same action iykwim.
The house is a total mess because I haven't adapted to doing so much baby chasing yet. I really should get the house clean before DH gets home or at least move the mess around a bit. Luckily for me I've got a bit of extra time - DH is at the rugby tonight, he's short a couple of people so I think he'll be working late. He's a bit cross about Kylie's boobs because he had the contract for her Sydney concerts. I have to say that I haven't done a boob examination since I was a couple of months pregnant so the news was a bit of a wake-up call for me.
I'm off to be a domestic treasure. I hope you all enjoy your weekends.

hi girls
michelle - how rude of that wallbuddies lady - hope she gets a good kick up the bum. i used to be an enjo consultant (many moons ago) hated it but the money was good - i hated it cause it is not really me going into peoples houses when i don't know them and try and sell them stuff. i can talk heaps on puter and phone but real life i clam up lol. my g/friend has just started as a creative memories consultant (she does some really wonderful scrapbooking) and i am having a home class for her next friday night - i will only have a few girls as it is something that you really need to keep doing not just a one off iykwim. wall buddies are great, had them years ago when jessie was little (so it would have been around 6 or 7 yrs ago that we had the wall buddies parties doing the rounds lol. my g/friend has them all in her kids bathroom and it looks really nice.
dachlostar - sounds like yasin is going to be a break dancer lol. my g/friends little girl has started crawling like that to cute. on the teeth front probably a couple of days - you will feel it poke through (they can be sharp lol) then they just come to the surface a bit more each day. having said that lani is having trouble with her top two teeth - she has been showing the signs for a few weeks and her gums are soooo swollen. health nurse looked the other day and said that there was an extra piece of skin which will break and the teeth will come through (it will either be her biting something or hitting it on something - apparently it will bleed heaps but will be okay) mind you this is the same crazy midwife who on a wednesday told me lani was not at all teething just had calcium deposits when two days later the tooth came through - so i just take some things she says with a grain of salt, although i have been concerned about the way her teeth at the top seem to be coming through.
oh and on teeth - jay has another really wobbley tooth the other bottom one - looks like the tooth fairy will be coming again soon - holy moly these teeth are costing a fortune what with bonjela, baby panadol, teething relieft syrup, teething rings and then a few years later the tooth fairy 8-[
snowy - welcome to the six month forum to you and wolf - hope to chat to you soon, it will probably become quite again soon as michelle leaves on the 2nd june and i go over on the 15th june, oh well we have another few weeks ahead of us.
sorry for the epic.
night night
oh bye the way - i have been taking ural and they seem to have done the trick - - i think i better drink more water.

what the hell is wallbuddies?? is that like tupperware parties? (though i've never been to one of those either, but know from my mom about it) - but nevertheless, how bloody rude!!
Dachlostar, thanks - Wolf had a great birthday. We met up with the girl who was in the hospital room with me. Her daughter is just one hour older than Wolf. Her partner is a professional photographer, so he took a few pics of Wolf and Amelie (their daughter). I am curious to see how they turn out but it will be a while - he's on a photoshoot in Ibiza (I'm so jealous... ) for a week.
I checked out the photos on your webpage. DH stood behind me and commented on how cute Yasin is :) We haven't done the "diving" part yet - I think they do it in 2 weeks. I am curious to see how Wolf reacts. So far he has taken to the water like a fish.
Thanks for the warm welcome back girls. So sad that some of you are leaving soon again.

HI all
Snowy- don't be sad, it just keeps happening, we must have a word with these babies who keep growing up LOL. Hope the pics are good, are you getting freebies? Wall buddies are wall decorations made out of stuff sort of like syrofoam and they are bright and colourful. I have them in the bathroom, and am getting football ones for Josh's room and a bear and hearts for Jessica's room and other stuff i want too.
Michelle- you do have to be the right person to sell party plan, you sort of need to be pushy but friendly, a fine line! I could do it, but not sure how well. I was at a creative mem demo today, and I was happy with the page I did, this was my 2nd demo and I wasn't happy last time, I guess bc you don't get much to work with so it didn't look as good as it could've. But this one is ok. Funny thing though, the lady looked at my pics and thought they were jessica (I had her there) but they were actually Josh at 2 mths old. I keep telling everybody my kids are almost identical as babies and I am so right LOL.
Good night to everyone, Mel and dasch and sorry to anyone else.
cheers Michelle
lara- Hope the cure for CF does come soon, wouldn't that be great. And hope the tests on your SIL partner come back neg, but if not it just goes to show. I can understand you finding out, and think it would be best, just so you know what you are dealing with. Fingers crossed the next cherub is negative but if not I know you guys will do an excellent job regardless.
I know I've missed heaps of people, am too tired at the moment. I am prob going somewhere tomorrow even though I am sick, I'm not going to help in the classroom though, as SIL is down and annoying me, she's 26 and has spent every second she has been here in the last 2 days playing with Jordan in Jemma's dollshouse. WTF I hear you say! She isn't quite MATURE you might say and prob never will be , what ****s me most is that she actually locked Jemma and my niece out of Jemma's room so she couldn't even play with her own stuff, and today her and Jordan dragged every bit of it into the lounge cos Jemma went to bed. I am so glad she moved to Echuca cos we don't see her that much anymore.

he is not a baby photographer or anything like that - he does fashion, art, ads and music shoots and things like that)
His name is (as you can see) Ben Wolf which was really funny in the hospital cause it caused a lot of confusion when people were talking about "Baby Wolf" .... one nurse actually thought I had taken the wrong baby one night :D

also I have updated my website if you want to see some photos from the baby swimming (click on the Photo Gallery link at the bottom of the babiesonline website for heaps of recent photos)

,hello
how are we all? just a quickie post before i give lani her bottle - i am knackered lol - she did not sleep hardly at all today what a ratbag lol - she is usually quite good doing 2 sleeps of 2 to 3hrs per day but when i put her down this morning she cracked it, i ended up giving her a bottle then she went down - i had to get her up tho after only 1hr to pick up ds from kinder ](*,) , then this arvo well she just did not go down but was happy to be up she just crawled everywhere - i think she explored every room in the house lol. i think it is a combo of everything - top teeth, growth spurt and new found freedom. she is only having the one breastfeed in the morning when she wakes but i will be stopping that as of tomorrow, cause she mucks around so much off and on etc and i only have 1hr in the morning to get us fed, dressed and off to kinda and she is usually cranky about 1/2 hr after i finish my attempt to feed her so she will go on the bottle am a bit sad but you gotta do what you gotta do.
anyway hopefully tomorrow morning will run smoothly ds has a pj day at kinder and will have breaky there so we won't be as rushed.
have a good night
bye for now

Hi girls
Snowy I think that I hate when the happens more than I hate most things in the world. And there is no way I remember to copy before I submit, so it keeps happening. I so love the pic of wolf in his tripptrapp chair, he is so gorgeous.
Michelle- I hope the lovely Lani does a bit more sleeping tomorrow and I can see how finishing breasatfeeding is sad too. Hope it makes it less hectic in the mornings for you.
YEah! SIL goes home tomorrow, I can't wait, she is so annoying.
MIL, FIL and SIL were here for tea and I have seen SIl Sat and Sun, so I have ahd a gutful. Arron is starting to get all excited about his trip to QLD and I am getting more edgy, 4 and a half days alone with the kids. I have made my wall buddies demo for the Mon night and Arron will be home Tues so it won't be too bad I guess. I don't really like being alone or sleeping alone either and 4 nights will be very slow. maybe I can scrap or talk on bb the whole time LOL
Anyway not much happening, I still feel pretty crappy but I think it's just a cold not the flu which is great news for me.
Better go cos i want to eat cheezals before I go to bed.
Goodnight to everyone and hope you feel better soon Mel.
Cheers Michelle

hi there everyone
well i woke lani up at 7.30am this morning and gave her a bottle - she drank the whole 250mls i then put her in the rocker whilst i had a shower -(in the past she would crack it as she was obviously still hungry) only downside was kinder starts at 8.30am so i tried giving her solids at 8.15 and she was to full lol - couldn't give it to her any later as she had a doc's appt straight after kinder oh well.
doctors for phnecocoal (arrh ykwim spelling hopeless lol) anyway i mentioned to doc about lani's forearm she has a bruise with quite a lump underneath - doc wants me to get x-rays done as she thinks it may be a greenstick fracture - i don't even know how she did it - i am sad. going tommorrow at 9.15am - hopefully all is well fingers crossed. she carried on like a pork chop at her vaccination, plus she was tired so i can tell you i was glad to get home.
wow michelle i would lllllllllooooooove 4 days with paul lol - he is okay just still drinking heaps (mentioned to my doc and she is going to discuss it futher with him when he next goes for his antidepressant medication) lets hope the kiddies behave for you for the 4 days, i think i would love it so much cause i wouldn't have to stress about dinner lol just frozen meals or take out - gees i am lazy - no not lazy just fed up deciding what to cook each night.
anyway speaking of cooking i guess i better see what i can do for dinner tonight.
see yas
