In response to your question, Mitch, I have lost 21.8kg (but who's counting?! ). I'm almost at what I want to be (only 1.1 to go). I did end up buying some cool shoes for Colorado - 2 pairs for $90. I ran into a guy from uni who I hadn't seen for about 2 years - he thought it was very odd that I was a Mum!
Anyway, must dash. Damn having only one car - I'm going to have to wake Charlie up in about 10 minutes because I have to take DH to a rehearsal. I anticipate that I will be a rehearsal widow for the next 6 months because everyone has now returned from that conference in America and they're all very motivated. Problem is that only one other person in DH's ensemble is married and no one else has kids, so they don't know what it's like and they're not very understanding about it. I have told DH that he HAS to have the weekend of the 12-14th August off for Charlie's birthday. I bet the group will kick up a stink about that... *sigh* I'll let you know it goes.
