Oh Bec, hope ur lil man is feelin better quick smart. Holly's just finished her 2nd lot of meds for a 2nd lot of middle ear infections, but she seems to still be happy enough when sick, unless it's a cold, then she gets grizzly/clingy.
Hehe on the up to no good, guess there's years more of that to look forward to for us all huh. Holly just recently started pulling herself up & has realised she can reach the xmas tree now, a couple of times I've said 'holly no' &/or clapped my hands loudly to get her attention, she would just look around & laugh at me, oooh cheeky.
Yeah I'm fine thnx Kelli, spotted again more yesterday but stopped again today, think it's just gonna be a nuisance more than anything, hehe. Rather that than vommitting, much less M/S than last time & even then I never vommitted, just felt yuk most of the day in 2nd half of 1st tri (touch wood). Hmm, wonder if that means it's gonna be a boy, hehe.
Yeah Amanda, updated pics overdue for a few in here, hehe. Abs, I'll have to take a peak at Jordy's latest too. Have just added few more pics of Holly to her www. :)
Ummm, yeah, well I guess it was preggy brain, then baby brain, now preggy brain again, then can blame it on baby brain again, hehe. Just somethings sometimes, u know how it goes. Haha on MIL vacating, hope u can relax more then. Oh I certainly know the feeling, I've been thinkin oh no, Holly's now pullin herself up, so guess walking's getting closer, yikes.
Ohhh how cute Jacci, 'tis funny, many people do the first/middle name thing in a raised voice to chastise, & yeah guess they're not really gonna repeat that back at u like they could 'no', never thought of that, hehe. Is Charlie feelin any better yet?
What's ur word Lisa, u've got me curious. :)
Hehe Sooz, Holly hasn't figured out the tv yet, however it's too heavy for her to pull over & squeezed in a neat fit in the ent. unit, but she certainly does pull the cat's fur, I try to tell her no, gentle, but guess it'll take a while.

Evening everyone!!
Charlie has done 4 poos today - i'm sick of changing pooey nappies!!!
Gav is away at another fire today - so its just me and charlie
Very hot here today! and blowing a gale ( the joys of living on the coast!! NOT )
Shell - Charlie is feeling great now. He is back to his old self, thanks for asking.
Sooz - Charlie turns the TV off! - he hits the button all the time - little bugger
Charlie Weightloss - I am amazed at how much weight charlie has lost in the last 2 weeks now that he is moving around everywere as well as being sick that time - I thought he would be out of these nappies soon but now he's right back in them.
Anyway - better go put my baby to bed
Talk Later
Jac
-
Shell - how are you feeling with your pregnancy this time round? anything different from the first time?
-
well our little monster is now walking / taking even more steps if someone is in front and holding his hands. Not to mention being in front of furniture
He gets sooo excited when doing it too. But he stops when he sees the camera and just smiles at it. Little Toby was a camera geek too, and the pair of em are very similar in looks, bless his little soul. I can't remember, but did I say Penny had her 20wk scan earlier this week, and its another boy
Has been pretty cool here in Sydney Jac, and um we had home delivery Thai for dinner and are going to Yum Cha for lunch tomorrow - so much for trying to lose weight
How is everyone going with clothes ?? We have a heap which we'll probably send south if she wants any of em (depending on what she has left from the previous). We got some ColesMyer vouchers for xmas and Jen spent about half on size 1 & 2 clothes earlier in the week. Some really nice shirts & shorts & pants & tops. If only the bodysuit type ones were available in "larger" sizes, stops the tshirt/shirts from riding up

Hi Everyone!
ABs.. yay for jordy! Its so hard to believe that our babies are big enough to be doing this..before we know it it will be their birthdays. Wow that 20 weeks went fast, hope she is doing well. And Yum for both thai and yum cha, i miss being able to go to yum cha, they don't have it here. I think I will have to go when I am in melbourne next. As for clothes we have heaps, abbey is still in 00 lol. I thought i'd be able to send them to my niece (4months younger) but she is already bigger then abbey. I guess I will just keep them for next time.
Jacci.. abbey has her pooey days too, its yuck, i hope he's finished now. Are you concerned about his weight loss? Or is it not that much? It was hot here today too. Abbey is always playing with the remotes and changing the channel and turning it off, most of the time just by sitting on them lol
Lisa.. I'm curious about this word too lol, I have been trying to train DF (OMG I can say that now lol) to not swear in front of her, thats the last thing I want her saying.
What were the first finger foods you guys gave them? Abbey is still on lumpy mush lol but I'm thinking its about time to give her other stuff, she has apple quarters in her mesh thing but thats it. Also what sort of menu do you have? I need to start giving her more variety too.
Well abbey is up to mischeif so I have to go grab her..bbl

Hi guys,
missed the new thread again.
Jac- hope u got my email, only sent it late this arvo as dh has been on the pc all day working.
Finger foods- Nixon loves the milk arrowruit bisc, he pretty much devours it now. Ive also been giving him some vegemite toast some mornings, i cut the toast into quarters and give him one of them. i just bought those little cheese sticks but wasnt sure about giving the whole thing to him so just broke it off for him.
Shell- gee pg brain plus baby brain must be a killer lol! are you going to taking preggie belly pics this time around too? I'd love to with my next but the way my belly looks now i'd start off looking 4-5months already!
Nixon is in between 00 & 0 now, just in the last week or 2 been puttins some 00 stuff away and trying on some 0 stuff!
wow Abs cant beleive Jordy can walk around furniture! i seen the pics where he did it. Is the police officer a friend of yours? we have a few cop friends down here i should get a pic with their hat on him too!
I'm hanging for Nixon to start talking. he makes so many noises and just waiting for an actual word to come out one day.
Nixon smiles or laughs at me when i say no, even with my stern voice and serious face he doesnt understand.. but i guess in time he will. i also have to keep reminding dh to stop swearing around him, he doesn't realise how often he does it until i pull him up about it.
Happy 9 months Jordy for yesterday!!
-
(nickers it was Shell & Holly that hit 9 months yesterday too)
Finger Food - we are having toast cut into slithers maybe 3/4's a cm in width, and the same with cheese. He'll bite the bit off that he can push into his mouth, then drop the rest that was in his hand
He has begun waving too. Jen just took him upstairs for his next nap and we had a big waving session at each other - sooooo cute
Jac, how many poo's was it yesterday ?? As of 9am this morning, we'd changed 5 pooey nappies so far today
And nickers, yeah Sarah lives over the road from us. She has spent some time looking after Jordy every now and then when both Jen & I are busy
-
Wow... I cant believe some bubs are Walking.... That is scary... Alexa is trying to pull herself up on things!!!! mind you her last effort ended with a not so graceful fall to the floor & a bump & bruise on her forehead!!!!!!... little monkey...
Alexa loves marmite on toast.... but what a mess!!!!!! I never give it to her before we are going out!!!! cause she always needs a bath afterwards or at least a change of clothes LOL
Alexa can say mum & bub & sometimes mummy... but the stubborn wee thing wont say dad LOL... Jeff tries to get her to say dadad, but she turns to him & clearly says mum LMAO... it is so funny..... poor jeff feels left out LOL...
BBl better go & do some work... Oh how I wish I was on holiday!!!!! Hanging out till our belated honeymoon in Oct/Nov.... :D
-
Oops sorry Shell Happy 9 months Holly!
-
Morning all!
Abs - 5 Poos before 9am OMG!!! Charlie only did 4 for the whole day - but i am so used to him doing 1 a day. Charlie is cruising around the furniture all day now - he's had some major falls though
Nickers - I got the cheese sticks ( actually mine are cheese Pops) - yeah got your email..
Charlie loves arrowroot biccies too!!! OMG only 1 month till you start trying to concieve
Fingerfood - charlie will eat anything - he loves sucking on dried apples and he has toast for breakfast every morning and he has sandwiches for lunch - i just cut the bread into 1/4 and then half each 1/4.
I have been very healthy so far with eating - making sure i eat breakfast ( iam naughty and always forget to eat it)
Anyway better go feed the feral!!
Jac

mitch, jordy learnt from an 11month old how to both pull himself up on the couch and to gracefully sit down again... Aimee could also climb up onto the couch but is a good chunk lighter than him, and I guess she is more coordinated given her extra 2 1/2 months of age
Having someone to copy helps heaps, as I'm sure those with closish aged bubs can attest to with how the younger learns things earlier
We had a visitor earlier this morning, and Jordy walked about 3 metres in quite a good speed holding onto Jen's hands... actually good lesson learnt here - have the adult holding their hand, not bubs holding the adults hands... bubs will let go and fall if they are controlling the grip !! (this was learnt after just one hand let go and we caught him before he went anywhere)

Hi Everyone,
As promised I have just re-activated Olivia's site and added some upto date pics, now I promise to keep it current. I hope everyone is well!
Lisa, like Tyron Olivia also has a cow lick but so do both Noel and I so the chances were pretty high..hehehehe
Shell, just had a look at Holly's pics and she is absolutely beautiful and so grown up, I hope you're pregnancy is smooth sailing. Olivia also loves pulling the cats hair, I raised my voice a little yesterday and she immediately stopped what she was doing and then giggled, but who know's how long that will work...hehehe
Jacci, 4 poohs eww, when Olivia had gastro I swear she had 2 an hour oh I don't miss it, where is GAv fighting the fires?
Abs, wow on Jordy taking steps, you must be so proud, Olivia hasn't even started crawling yet but it wont be long. Olivia is still in 00 but slowly moving into size O, so many clothes she never got to wear.
Lisa. what's the word, you have us all curious..
Amanda, Olivia has had both vegemite toast and peanut butter toast once, she seemed to really like it but didn't have the whole hand mouth co-ordination happening yet, we have also tried really soft pieces of fruit, canteloupe and strawberry, tiny pieces of cheese and tomato is also a favourite.
Mitch,
I know what you mean about giving them toast, Olivia had bits in her hair and didn't manage to get much in her mouth at all, yeah on Alexa saying mummy, Olivia has just the one word Dadada, not through my lack of trying though...hehehehe
Hello to anyone I missed,
KelliC

Food - my little muncher eats anything and everything - he even had some christmas ham! A lot of it goes down the sides of the highchair, but more often than not he'll finish most of it. Toast, fruit (banana, peach, plum, and apple mostly), he had a sausage the other day, I switched the milk arrowroot for Granita's coz they don't turn to mush as much, cheesesticks. i don't think there's anything this boy doesn't eat :) Makes a nice change from Janae who even at this age was a fuss pot.
oops - started typing this really early this morning & have just realised I didn't post it. silly me! Hope everyone's having a good day
Bel
-
Kelli- great pics thanks for updating. Nixon had the same bib for christmas!
i love the pic of the 3 girls together very nice photo, they are all beautiful.
better go upload some more pics on Nixon's site.
-
Nickers, I got the bib at Myer in the City and it was the last one left. I was so impressed that it played music!! Just had a look at all Nixon's pics on his website and they're adorable.
Bel, I'm sure Olivia would also eat anything if I gave it to her, I'm still a little scared to give her a lot of things, even when I do give her solid food I make sure it is chopped up really small and watch her like a hawk. Getting use to having a baby around again is not that easy..hehehe, I think I'm more paranoid this time around.
-
I have been soooo slack at looking at other piccies, I really must apologise
After the discussion on "cow licks" I asked Jen what they were - Jordy has one too, and with the blonde hair it looks adorable
Yes, we are very proud of his step talking (not really walking) but he stops when someone is trying to get into a decent spot to take his photo - little ratbag
Jac, the poo's didn't stop at #5 at 9am... he must have some form of diahrroea or something, it just kept going all day long - could be more teething to come - probably causing his lack of eating/drinking too. Normally he eats mostly anything - broccoli and brussel sprouts are about the only thing he wont eat so far
And yeah tis a huge shame about the clothes that were never really worn Kelli - we refused to by "good clothes" as he was given several, and mainly just got the bonds one-piece things which he otherwise lives in
-
hope Jordy doesnt have diahrroea, could be teething... i cannot remember has he gotten any teeth yet?
Kelli- yes i liked the music aswell, i was worried when mum washed the bib when up in syd but seemed to work fine afterwards. Until we go home that was and when i went to put it away it went off, and kept going and going and going. i could not turn it off!! i end up shoving it under a pillow in the spare room, next day its stopped but obviously died....
-
Good Morning Everyone,
I'm back at work at this ungodly hour...ewwww
Nickers,
I haven't attempted to wash the bib yet, it's not that dirty as Olivia wasn't really into food at that stage, I will try and hand wash it this week and try to avoid the music part of it.
Abs,
how's Jordy this morning?? Still have diahrroea?
Hello to everyone else!
