Its quite possible Nickers, except that according to all my tests and u/s's I'll go late like last time so you'll have to hold on a bit... hehhehehe. Just took Caden outside for a walk. He walked so far then packed it in and kept trying to knee-walk in the dirt and mud so I had to pick him up and carry him home. I popped him up on the back deck and went to the chook house to get some eggs. When I turned around he'd climbed down the stairs and was knee-walking through the muddy puddle on our driveway. Not fun!!! So now he is walking around the house in his clothy and t-shirt. He has recently learnt how to take the pilcher off so I'm hoping he is too distracted by other stuff and doesn't start taking off his nappy.
    What fun little boys are!

Becky - hope things improve and quickly for you. It's great that Declan settled well into daycare. I think you are very brave. I haven't even thought about it yet as I'm lucky enough to be able to stay home though tings get really tight at times. How many teeth has Declan got? Caden's got 12 teeth and I'm wondering if I should be expecting more to cut soon...
We're doing ok. Caden's just started with a yukky nose so I'm hoping it stays at that and no more!
SOups on the stove so its lunch time here, gotta go.

Yeh, Mitch we are here. Caden has just started waking up at 5:30am every morning crying. Also had heaps of trouble getting him down on Sunday night. Though I think he has the beginnings of a headcold so will keep an eye on it. That would explain the behaviour change. He has never given us much trouble since he was about 6 months. (started solids = big sleeps)
good luck and let us know how Alexa is.

Jesabell - I'm needing to move Caden soon into a big bed to get ready for no.2 who is due in November. DOn't want to leave it too late as there will be enough going on in my little mans life with a new baby without having to move beds and rooms and everything else at the same time. Let us know how it goes with Jes. I think that others have already moved their little ones. One of the girls in my mums group has started with her little man and he often chooses to sleep in the big bed during the day now.
    Guess time will tell.
Becky - good luck with the teeth, not much fun.
Caden has a cold and is waking up at 530 - 6am every morning screaming, makes my days long but hopefully things improve quickly.
    bye,

Nixon has just cut 2 more teeth to make a total of 16!
His sleeps are usually ok but when the last few teeth were coming through he was very sooky overnight.
We have a bassinett for baby so he will be in that for a couple of months before needing Nixon's cot.
we havent yet bought a bed for Nixon but want to soon so he can get used to having it in his room and familiar. But im not looking forward to him being able to get out of the bed himself once we make the transision!

    Hello all u lovely people!

Sarah has taken to emma really well and we have to fight to get sarah to stop hugging her! We have been blessed with a good sleeper and feeder so thankfully I'm getting a full night's sleep!

Just b4 Emma was born Sarah had a bout of conjunctivitis so was very interesting trying to keep Sarah's hands away from Emma's eyes. hopefully we have gotten rid of all the illnesses now !

Have got new lap top and will b getting wireless broadband as soon as we get the baby bonus. initial outlay for the modem is $250 - $300. so I don't have to wait for a computer to be available @ the library anymore, I can just set up and use this!

Must go now, DH wants to play with it!

    hi all,

yet again another quick one from me - I just wish life would slow down for a day or two so I could catch up!!

Congrats ali on Emma's safe arrival, glad to here Sarah is adapting so quickly.

Becky, hope things have started to settle down in your house, you sound like you've had a rough few weeks.

Joy - we didn't move Janae into a bed until she was 2 1/2 (she was little, what can I say) and I was pregnant with Josiah, but we did it as soon as we could after I found out I was pregnant so that she would both get used to the new bed and stop recognising the cot as her bed.

Sleeping - both our kids are finally sleeping well, but the last few nights Mark & I have had shocking sleeps, both waking a few times a night for no reason at all.

Anyway, I've got to go and get Janae into bed - I'll drop in again soon.

    Bel

Oh wow Joy, ur past the 30wk mark already, not long to go. Hehe about Caden gettin all muddy. Holly has 16 teeth, the other molars are 2yo+ teeth apparently as per the heinz rusk packets. Hope Caden is ok.

And even less to go for u Nickers, how exciting.

And wow ur almost halfway Amanda.

Thnx for posting the info in here Nickers, Tanya posted a birth announcement here thread after my sis posted the news in the due late aug thread. I've added more pics too.

Bec, my bro did the poo painting too, erk. Hope ur feelin better now.

Oh Mitch, yeah when Holly was cutting some of her molars she did that, not every night though, ended up using Nurofen.

Jes, Holly's been in a big bed for a few mths as her baby sis is in her cot now, went surprisingly well as she was only just walking & didnt know how to climb out of bed, we close the door & keep monitor on, she sleeps thru still luckily. We check on her b4 we go to bed & occasionally have to put her back in bed as she's asleep on the floor.
I'm sleep deprived due to Lanah, Holly is good.

Congrats Ali on baby Emma & yay for having a good sleeper/feeder, Lanah is following in her sis's footsteps, keeping mummy up most of night, but Holly started sleeping thru from 4wks old so fingers crossed big time this lil one does too.
Holly treats Lanah just like our cat, cracks up at her & is a bit rough, she still doesnt seem to understand 'gentle' or 'no'.

Bel, I hear u on the attitude, Holly has developed one too, cheeky bugger chucks tanty's if she doesnt get what she wants when she wants it. She's a master at pulling all the wipes out of the container within minutes if they're not out of reach. OMG they are such whirlwinds at this age, the house looks like a bomb's hit it in no time, hehehe, but yes it is a lovely age.

We're having to lock the back security screen door now as Holly knows how to open it, the handle is lower than all the other door handles, yikes.

great to hear from you Ali & Shell!

Thats great that Sarah has adapted already to her little sister, i hope Nixon is the same.
Shell- thats great you got Holly to sleep in a big bed before Lanah come along, ok i think this w/e we are going to buy a bed for Nixon! even though he can stay in the cot as we have a basinett it wont take long for bub to outgrow the basinett. gonna go check out your pics now!

ETA: just checked out your pics Shell. Lanah is adorable! and how did u get those pics of her coming out of your belly, did your dh take them or a midwife? unreal! was Lanah bigger bub than Holly? She looks a bit chubbier i think!
