Mum has charlie at the moment so i actually have time to do something!!!
Joy - charlie watches the cartoons in the morning then we turni it off - he will sit on DH knee when he gets home from work and they watch the cartoons for about 1/2 hour in the arvo then the night time regim starts

Becky - congrats to your cousin. And how cute Declan saying coochie coochie coo - that's hilarious!
TV - bit of a debatable subject in our house. The kids don't watch normal tv hardly at all, but they have some educational DVD's that they watch quite often - Mark tends to use it as both background noise and a babysitter when he has something he needs to get done. I try to leave it off as much as possible, but sometimes it can be a lifesaver when you just need a few minutes - Josiah loves sitting on his couch with a bottle and watching his DVD, mind you lately he's more into dancing around the room to the music :)
Milk - Don't feel bad Amy, I too am guilty of giving my boy too much milk. It would explain a lot actually....thanks for letting us know and I hope Declan's recovery is a speedy one now that you know the cause.
Josiah's rash - isn't anything to worry about. It's not contagious, has some big long name and no treatment unless it starts to bother him. Apparently it's quite common and should clear up in a few days. aah, the things our kids pick up!
Anyway, back to work for me!
jess usually watches a hi-five dvd buts thats about it i usually leave it on abc2 all day but she dosent sit down and watch it .its usually on for the background noise .the abc2 channel is really good it plays kids shows from 10 till 3.00

My computer has been broken all week. I didn't realise i used it so much as this week i have missed it alot. $175 later and a new RAM stick!?? and we are back on line. Yay.
Good to know about the milk thing. Sam still has his three bottles of 200 mls. I was thinking of dropping the lunchtime one though but have been putting it off because it is nice to cuddle up on the lounge with him and have a bottle. The rest of the day (besides sleeping) he seems to be on the go all the time - doesnt stop. His big brother watches some TV and he might sit for a few minutes and have a look but then he is off again to find something to demolish!
My week has been very exciting as I have discovered im 7 weeks pregnant! We were thinking about having a third child but this has been a surprise as i have PCOS and took clomid to conceive my two boys so assumed i would have to this time as well. However it just happenned by itself so we are extremely happy. Our EDD is 13 March 08. Been feeling a bit ill though and low on energy. very excited!
Huge congrats!!!! Kate!! That is great news. I can imagine how buggered you will be running around after a young one being pregnant!
I remember when we first started talking on here and i was about 8 weeks pregnant - Bel was on here too and she had Janea to run around after while she was pregnant - I don't reckon i gave you girls enough credit I now know how hard it would be - I get buggered just running around after one let alone one inside me!!!

Well I have got an interview today at 11 ( better hurry and get ready!!!) at one of the local Solicitors here that have bought a big melbourne company - just doing there finance 3 days a week - so hopefully i will get it - I reckon i am in with a pretty good chance seeing they rang me and asked me without me even knowing there was a job there - but we'll just wait and see what happens! the extra money would be very handy before we start trying for a second

we're doing ok. Caden is back to eating really well and I am sleeping heaps during the day????? and at night too, go figure! The baby moves heaps and it is absolutely exhausting. I remember first time, it was so much easier, I can't believe those of you that already had one to chase around last time. It is just so tiring.
DH is away in Cairns for the week for work, add to that that his mum needs to go to Melbourne for medical tests tomorrow afternoon and I'm flat out this week between trips to the airport and melbourne hospitals I'm just making the most of my quiet days which involve lots of sleeping on the couch and not much else! as long as Caden lets me that is.
so with that said I'm off to my fav. couch to watch some senseless TV before bed.

we moved over the weekend so been busy unpacking. dont get our furniture till 4th aug from melb so no lunges etc to sit on atm!
Nixon is settling in well thank god.
the 5% deposit went through for our house yesterday so its now offically sold! settlement 14th sept. its a big weight off our shoulders having that sold.

Nickers I was just thinking the same things as I was reading through the posts haven't seen shell for ages! Hope everything is ok.
Financially things are really starting to get bad for us if I don't get a job soon or if the house doesn't sell things are going to go from bad to worse and maybe even dier things just aren't seeming to happen before Declan I was having jobs thrown at me and all I seem to get now is a Dear John grrrr!

becky - you can have a whinge when ever you want!!! It is amazing how much finances change from having a child! - we lived on just gavins wage from the minute we started just to see how we would go - and it was fine when it was just the 2 of us - but now i have to be a bit tighter on certain stuff - there are months that kill us - like this month - 2 car rego's and 2 insurances. hope everything work out for you
Nickers - we're due november... early november but I'm expecting it to be atleast a week late! Lovely to hear that the move went well and the sale too! congrats.
Becky - I really feel for you. I'm sure something will come soon but feel most free to gripe here. We all have and will again at sometime or another, where else can you gripe otherwise? All gripes most welcome.

We're doing alright. Caden is very mischievous, bless his little, highly active soul!!!!! DH is home this saturday night (12am) and I can't wait, its been the longest week.
Saw my ob yesterday, he is really happy with things and the baby is strong and healthy despite me being so tired all the time.
I'm always tired but generally enjoying life a bit more now,
and now it's bed time for me!

i had an ultrasound yesterday and everything looks good here too.
Bub weighs appox 1kg and head circ of 25cm. fluids etc all look good.

Tue/Fri mornings Holly watches TV (ABC), but i haven't shown her any dvds yet, i know sis is getting her a hi5 dvd for xmas.
How cute Bel, Holly hasn't had any new words for quite a while, taa & nonono were her last. (otherwise only says mumum, dadad, bubub, nanan). She's only just started showing us her tummy, hehe.
What a good sis Janae's being. We did our tax returns a few wks ago & luckily got reasonable amount back (incl $1200 for 2 medical tax returns), but most gone against the mortgage to help get us thru next mat leave which starts in 1wk, yay. Already got paperwork back for CCB & FTB tax returns but still waiting on CCB rebate tax return which I hear wont be assessed for anyone until Sept, doh.
That's good that the rash was nothing serious for Josiah too.
Oh bgr Amy, I never knew that, Holly still drinks 2-3 200ml bottles of toddler formula (i've been trying to keep her to 2). They say if/when u go to just milk u need to give an iron supplement, there are at least 2 diff ones the chemist nurse showed me, but I didnt know about it b4 that. Holly has runny poos & moment & fighting hard to get rid of the nasty nappy rash that has gone with it, skin stripped off in areas, now using Hydrozole but as soon as she does another poo it starts to get worse again, but she's also teething & this happens often with teething. Think she has 16 now. If it doesnt improve on Mon I'm takin her to GP. So what were the symptoms apart from runny poos?
How much RAM did they give u for that price Kate? I get ours at the computer fair & it's usually 1/3 the price of the shops. :)

we have 2 weeks n 1 day to go but looks like i'm gonna go early! Have had a show n strong bh so DH reckons it will b within the week :crossfingers::crossfingers::crossfingers:! looking forward 2 it coz the physio reckons my pelvis should return to normal after delivery n if it doesn't they can do more electro therapy n hopefully repair the damage.
Have MW appt on wednesday but hope have delivered by then!
Sarah has finally gained sum weight!! 300g since walking started (6 weeks) but I think it's all muscle. She has a bruise on her cheek from a trip but that's just part of being a toddler i guess.

Shell - I think we paid $100 for 512MB of RAM. is that expensive? I have no idea. Where is the computer fair you are talking about? Good luck with the last few weeks of your pregnancy. Hope all goes well.

Im feeling quite sick at the moment. Looking forward to getting the next 4 to 5 weeks over with. It is hard running around after the boys while feeling so sick and tired. Oh well will all be worth it in the end! And this will most likely be the last child for me so I have to make the most of this pregnancy.
I have no idea what Sam weighs at the moment. I keep forgetting to put him on the scales. Must go write that down on a to do list!
Shell - just a quick thing I learnt on the weekend from my mum. Caden has been having a really bad rashon his little tush for the last week, blood and all and my mum gave me some Z.S.C powder to put on it. It has almost gone since Saturday after fighting it for a week. I had forgotten that mum used to use it on us when we were kids. it's fantastic and you get it from the chemist. It seems to keep his bottom drier and works well even with cloth nappies!

We are staying at the Santorini apartments in Nobby beach... I cant wait to get away & have a break... been a long time coming...
we had really bad flooding over here yesterday... hoping that we wont get anymore rain for awhile... my BIL was moving his cattle by truck at 9pm last night.. just aswell too cause the whole area is under water now & you cant even see the top of the fence posts!!!!... Thanks god we live on a rise & the small amount of water we had at home just ran under the house...
Anyway... better get on with some work...

Forgot to get on the Computer and Tell you I got the Job Started today
I work Tues, Wed, Thurs - Charlie has Day care Tues - my mum wednesday - Daycare 1/2 day thursday and then Gav's mum thursday arvo. So i only had to put him in for an extra half day coz he used to have mondays - so that is really good. I really enjoyed it today - was great to be actually be back doing real accounting - been a while - my brain was blanck for the first couple of hours! anyway - had a big day at work ( listen to me - god i'm a sook) Better go to bed

Declan's put on 700g last week so cutting back his milk has helped a million times over. We will be going back to a paed soon though since the head paed at the Base isn't happy with they way we've been brushed off. Thats about all thats new here.
Anyone else have any new baby news to share lol.

We have had gastro this week which triggered sum contractions in the middle of tuesday nite. but alas no baby. her head is so far down that the mw could only feel it by doing an internal. she hopes i dont make 40 weeks but there's only 10 days to go.

Congratulations Jacci on the job. I have only worked one day since having Caden and it was fantastic to be back out there.
Nickers - I'll have a read of the bottle when Caden wakes up. Not willing to chance him waking up at the moment, need a break. You get it from the chemist though. My mum used it on us when we were kids for sores, grazes, nappy rash etc... great stuff. Forms a crust on grazes and helps them heal without scarring. Though I think the reason we are having so much trouble with Cadens little tush at the moment is that we have changed the liner we're using in his cloth nappys so I'm going to change back and see how we go. We havn't had this trouble at all til recently, seems a bit too coincidental that it happened at the same time as changing nappy liners... hmmmm
Can't remember anything else. We're going ok here. DH has been called away to work on short notice. He left this morning at 6am and will be home about 8pm Friday night. I'm already missing him as Caden is really grizzly, though one of his cheeks is quite red... teeth?
I'm off to go rest up before the evening session with Caden starts.

Ali, how u going? Bad timing on the gastro, hope ur feelin better now though. Just went thru our family too, but i missed it, prob coz just finished antiobiotics for sinusitis, but nausea, head/back/body aches were there instead, feelin better now after chiro visit, but still nauseous.
Kate, i think i paid $80 for 1Gb DDR RAM, there's diff types (depending on age of PC), & diff sizes & speeds & the type also determines the price. Just google computermarkets (theres a smaller one too - computerfairs).
Thnx Joy, it's cleared up now as the teething poos have stopped, but will keep that in mind for next time.

Good news on Declan's weight gain Amy. Holly weighed in at 11.3kg dressed last wk at the chemist, so luckily no probs here. She's gone from the smallest bubba in mums group to the heaviest girl bubba in mums group, hehe.
Nickers, u cant really see the swelling in those pics was from severe ear infections & the swelling got much worse than that, when hospitalised, a summary of the story is in my Milestones in www. Been REALLY slack with belly pics this time round though, doh. Yeah BH regular here too, can't go 1 day without at least 10, but had them since 19wks with both preg.
Becky- try to stay positive re the house. Easier said then done ofcourse, i definatley didnt. Our place sold just a few weeks ago (settlement is in mid sept) but we had it on the market for 6months and not even 1 offer on it. 24hrs after we made the decision to take it off the market and rent it out we had our first and only offer and they were so keen they put $1000 on it straight away then paid the 5% deposit 7days later. So it will happen. But i understand not being able to see a light at the end of the tunnel becuase i was the same.
Its hard when everyone constantly asks you hows the house selling going too.......

Nixon has slimed down since walking, think he is about 11.5kg and 81-82cm tall. he tries to run now but runs into things or falls over! He said "wheres Nanny" and yesterday picked up on him saying "Nanny here" but neither of them were lol!
It was my bday Tuesday just gone, dh got me a 3hr pamper package which i am using next MOnday and cant wait! we also we to dinner & movies on Tues night as my mum takes Nixon for the night and minds him wed when i work. so it was great to go out just as a couple for once!

My cuz n his girlfriend had a little boy on thurs by caeser 8lb3. he was breech. he doesn't have a name yet.
A friend of ours was in a very serious accident last weekend and this morning came out of intensive care so he is really coming along faster than the docs expected.
cant think of anything else but u never no, i do have pg brain.
Hey all Declan had his trial run in day care today his little mate Xavier goes to the same place but his mum had to go pick him up att 11 has it looks like he has conjunctivitis or something But his mum said Declan was outside playing and really happy. The day care centre just rang at 12:30 and said declan fell asleep in his high chair whilst having lunch and when he woke he was all distressed so DH has gone up to hopefully calm him down and let him play for the rest of the afternoon (still can't believe he fell asleep in the high chair) or else bring him home. He goes again on Wednesday as Ill be away at a training day in Lunaceston all day so I hope he calms down and is ok so he will be fine on Wednesday I reckon he is upset because his little mate wasn't there anymore and he forgot where he was
House still not sold had more ppl through last week again but no luck yet
I am working commission only for Harcourts Financial Services now so lets hope I can get heaps of loans to write!

Hi everyone else, I've been lurking a bit, bit haven't had time to post; work has been flat out from the minute I get into my office until the minute I leave (normally about 1/2 an hour late) and home hasn't been much better.
No news to report on this end, Josiah is growing into such a little man - and omg is he a boy or what - SO different from how Janae was at this age, he's into absolutely everything and loves his boy toys. He's still only saying a couple of words, mumma, bubba, and 'Siah' (as in Josiah) but understands everything. I'm absolutelly loving this age though. Janae is going well too, trying to give a bit too much attitude, but we're getting a handle on that. She's also finally eating and putting on a bit of weight which is a relief.
I think I've caught up on everyone's posts - glad to hear everyone is doing well. Becky, I hope things start to happen for you soon.
Anyway, off to do some housework - I'll check in later to see how Shell went!

just an update that Shell had her baby girl yesterday i just seen the announcement!
Lanah Merilee was born 14.08.07 at 2.15pm by c/s after a 19hr labour i think she was 7lb 12oz and 50cm long
