Jen-don?t get me started on neighbors lol I swear we have always had the neighbours from hell except for this house they are all really great so I told dh that we are going to be buried in the backyard because I never ever want to leave lol?lets see I did cc when Natasha was 3 months and James the last time I tried he would have been around 8 months..whats makes you want to try for a girl? I followed the shettlers method as a lot of my friends did and it was spot on?although a lot of stuffing around
Disgirl-congrats on your pregnancy hope you have a sticky 9 months
Melissa-that?s great that Olivia has been sleeping James has also been really good at going to bed and is still only waking once yay yay?how did the appts go?
Kel-glad your phone lines are fixed?I remember I used to cry when Natasha had her needles probably because she would be screaming the room down but surprisingly James just sits there does not even flinch lol
Kristie-Happy Birthday
Kylie-rofl hi welcome to bb hope you stick around it is a little quieter then what you would be used to on births but much nicer bunch of ladies I promise lol?
Not much happening here except it is sooooo cold and as the computer is outside in the office that has no heating I am struggling to get the courage u to come out here to get on incase I get frost bite which I must say my hands are beginning to go numb so I am off to warm them up have a great night

Hiya girlies!!
Disgirl, we have a couple of names, though nothing that really grabs us iykwim! We both like Lachlan the most, but also have Liam, Aden, Callum and Noah. I'd rather not have an L name, since Lily is well... Lily! And Lily and Lachlan/Liam is a bit of a mouthful, though that dilemma is wearing off now. Another thing is the popularity of the names. Most of them are in the top 10 names, though that dilemmas wearing off too and I'm starting to not worry about it. So we're just gonna wait til he comes to see what his name will be. We had HannahRose chosen for Lily but when she was born, we decided to call her Lily Kate! So I am open to suggestions.
I hope you have a great time at your sisters baby shower, sounds like you'll be busy. Try to take some time out for you too!
Kylie, welcome, it's so great to see newcomers still joining us! And yep, as Von says, we're a great bunch of girls!!
And good luck with ttc!
Mel, I hope everything went well with Olivias check up. Are they still watching her hips, or are they all ok now? How were your u/s results?
Von, Lily is pretty good with needles. It's just the initial jab that makes her cry, she stops after a few minutes. I'm getting worse with each shot she gets, I don't think the raging hormones are helping! She's been pretty good to day too considering the nurse told me to expect her to have a tough day. She slept really well-only one wake up and that was jsut a dummy run! (might have been the panadol before the shots then the nurofen a few hours later!LOL!) Just in case of course!! She does have the body rash, but other than that she's been good.
Well, my monkey has become a climber....she's climbing on the toy box, the tabletop toy thingo she has, boxes, her rocking chair...anything her little legs can push her up onto. And she doesn't just get on it and sit. She stands up and does a little jig, hehehe, very funny but stomach churning at the same time. I'm petrified she's going to fall off. If we had carpet for her to fall on I don't think I'd panic so much, but we have tiles and I'm worried she'll smack her head! Little devil.
Oh I added a piccy of Lily rubbing cream onto my belly. It was so cute. I was putting cream on after a shower tonight and she came and started rubbing my belly too. I think because I rub cream on her after her bath she thought she would do the same for me, though it could have been so she could lick the cream off her hands too....another charming habbit my monkey has :D
Anyway, gonna go and raid the fridge...its cold here in Sydney and all I want to do is eat!
Happy weekend ladies.
-
Good morning- on this clear crisp (5 degree) morning we have here in Melbourne.
I got my results....trisomy 21 was 1:5830 (for olivia it was 1:19) and trisomy 18 was 1:52500 (and was 1:32 with liv) So good results for me:)
Olivia does have a dose of Impetigo (thanks jen!!) and is on penicillan. Its apparently highly contageous...ooppsss shes been to day care all this week! Hopefully it will clear up soon and her face will start looking normal! She also has a partial umbilical hernia. I asked the dr last night coz her belly button all of the sudden became an outy over the past few weeks...since her gastro. I see the paed on Wednesday so will get him to look at it.
Hey Kel- thats so cute lil rubbing cream into your belly. Olivia stil pinches my nipples so no loving there!!! I would be packing darkies too if Olivia was climbing. She does on the odd occassion and hasnt had any falls. We have floor boards too, so i know the feeling. She actuallly fell outside on the concrete and she she was fine.
Hi to everyone- got to cut it short- moo's done a poo- again!!!
love melissa
-
Well hello there!!
How is everyone? As you can see my night is action packed - Beau is in bed just now and DH is cooking a duck salad so I am waiting for that....yummo!!
Mel- Hey thats good about Olivia, I mean you finding out what it is - Beau's cleared up straight away after the antibiotics and nothing since so....weird about her belly huh? Poor little lamb chop! Do you think she got the impetigo at day care? Beau got his when I was away for the weekend (but he was with Dh who is super careful) so I dont know how he got it??? Thats so great about your results! Prove em wrong girl!!! Good luck at he Paed.
Kel - One word NNNNNOOOOOOAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! I sooo sooo love that name! Have you seen The Notebook? If yes no further explination required! I know what you mean about matchy names - we cant have anything too euro I think as Beau and *insert name here like amelie* sounds a bit ****y!! Oh welcome to the workd of climbers! Gosh I went to see about a freelance job today and Baeu was climbing the book case! LOL! And my friend who I am doing the job for said "you can bring bub we are very family friendly' LOL!!!!!! He he he he!!! That would work!!! You poor thing having to look after all those rats while you are PG! Little naughty blighters like ours?
Von- OK I am googling shettlers method - Is it hard? I am lazy! Good on you for only having one wake up with James atm - would you try CC again now he is older? I dunno - I just want a little girl!!! I am a real girly girl so you know.....I want little dresses and skirts!!
Dis- Hey have a great time at the shower on Sunday - hope you get some down time this weekend
Kylie - Hi - What part of Sydney are you moving from? We are on the market atm and moving up the central coast - Welcome to BB - we are awesome!!!
Us - Umm we are good - I have had like a million chardonaays and vodkas since Beau went down and typing this as we have had a stressful clean up for viewing, me at a job , DH trying to do it on his own, me coming home and finishing and a grumpy Beau kind of arvo!!! But Beau is walking a lot on his own the last few days, not consistently but across the room now so it is only a matter of time I guess! regarding shots - i have posted on the main general discussion board about it as I am not sure if we are going to do Beaus MMR ones....I have doubts about it.....
Anyway Hi Kris and Kaz too - hope you are relaxing this Saturday night as I am about to do too.....
Big kiss to all the bubbas cheeks!
-
Hi everyone,
Mel, yay that your results came back so good, that's excellent! And at least you know what's wrong with Olivia now. Poor little monkey with her hernia though, hopefully it will fix itself.
Yeah, she is a cutie pie at times...I was just thinking today after a particularly funny thing she did (though can't remember what it was now...) what I laughed at before she was here. She's such a character! And we have had a fall off the lounge too, onto a rug, with her bumping her head. I do NOT want a repeat performance! And it would be on the bare tiles if she fell off the toy box.
Jen, LOL @ your eventful night, mines just as exciting!! Sitting here listening to the tv and trawling the net for something to do. If I could drink, I'd come and join you....its been WAAAAAYYYY too long since I've had more than one! (About 3yrs I'd say...OMG!!!)
Where do I get a hubby who cooks like yours?? Duck salad, yuumumeeee! He always seems to be making you something absolutely delicious-sounding! Hope it was a yummo as it sounds. I haven't eaten dinner yet, will probably be vegemite or cheese toast again...gormet I know, but I like to live the high life, LOL!
Yeah, I like Noah too, though DH isn't too fussed. He doesn't dislike it, but isn't in love with it either. He suggested another name today too- Hunter. I think I like it! At least it isn't a top 10 name.
LOL at B climbing the bookcase. I could just imagine him racing around while you're trying to work, LOL!! I don't know if they'd be that family friendly, hehe!! Some people don't understand how full on it is to look after a 12mth old.
No most of the kids at work aren't just full of energy bundles of 'I can't sit still', they are true little sh*ts. We have two kids with severe autism in the room too. And most of them don't speak english very well. Their parents certainly don't either. So I can't tell their parents what little sh*ts their kids are! Sorry I don't mean to be so horrible, but well, I can't think of anything noice to say.
It's so hard to know what to do with immunisations huh? But it is also so easy to just go with the flow and do it cause its expected. I am petrified of something happening to Lil from her shots. We used to know a family who had their kid (now over 30) who had his 4yr shots and is now brain damaged. He reacted within hours of getting it done. It is scary. But then again you also don't know if your child will be unlucky enough to get the disease and have an adverse reaction to that too. It feels like your playing god to some extent huh?
Anywhoooo, I'm going to have my gormet dinner now...and dream about Jens duck salad :p
-
Yum Yum- duck salad. We had Stag chilli soup out of a tin- lovely. I am having a cruisy night, the boys are watching the footy and I am laying here on my king size bed surfing the net and drinking water!!! Have been feeling a bit dizzy today, so just taking it easy. Also my nipples are so sore, not a great thing when dh is up for a bit!!!
Olivias mouth is starting to look a bit better although I noticed shes itching it more. I'm not sure where she got it from, but more than likely its spread through the eczema on her face, as thats a bit crusty too. I noticed shes got eczema over her body now- she got her genes from me!!!
Well I have a drunk dh and bil standing here talking to me, so I'd better go!!! go Tigers!!!
-
g'day again ladies,
von - its only cause I'm using the MCN that I've managed this far! terry flats still scare me ;)
Congrats kellie! OMG!
Mel - great news on the results, that's just brill.
Jen - I really want a little girl next too, but *shrugs*. We're just looking at my career path at the moment, as I really don't like where I am (been there too long!) and want to move on, but there's a policy at Telstra that you can't apply for a new position until you've been doing the current one for 2 years. Which means that I can't just apply willy-nilly. I have one application in and 2 resumes for possies that haven't been given ATF (authority to fill) and prolly won't until July. So if I do get offered this possie, then hopefully I'll know about the other ones more definately!
Pip's changed his sleeping patterns, he was only napping around 4pm for an hour, but this last week he's changed to a 2-3hour sleep just after lunch. Hopefully this means he'll start going to bed around 7pm or so, instead of the 9-10pm he usually does!
Jen - I also cheched out the heinz website, I don't see how ANYONE could collect that many tokens in the timeframe, unless they had two or more, and didn't' give them anything to eat but heinz!
Thanks to whoever reminded me about vaccs, he didn't get his 1yr one on his b/day cause he was ill, so that's a month overdue  Anyhows, time for tea, tonight we're having lamb roast, and Pip's having chicken bolognese made into shepards' pie.
This is also the first week he's not had ANY formula! So now he's weaned onto cows milk! Way easier, and it does mean he's drinking more diluted juices and water I think ... Although a bit of constipation ... has anyone started peanuts or honey yet?
Tomorrow I'm going to smear some peanut paste on his arm and see if there's a reaction, then if there isn't, we'll try a little peanut paste in a few days time ;)
Have a great night all!
-
kaz good to hear from you again.
I wont try Olivia with penut butter yet, just coz I have allergies and she has eczema, so might just wait til shes past 2. Although in saying that she does eat foods that has traces of nuts and seems ok...unless thats triggering her eczema. Its grat to thinkout loud!!!!
her sores are clearing up which is great. And shes still sleeping much better, with only one wake up last night.
I have been feeling really dizzy since yesterday, is that a pg symptom??? I might go get my bp checked at the chemist.
I have to go clean:( Chat later
Melissa
-
Hi girls,
Mel, Glad to hear that Olivias mouth is getting better. I hope you are feeling ok today, I think a trip to the dr is a good idea. Dizzyness is a pg symptom, but you can never be too careful. You might have low bp or an ear infection or something.
Kaz, I hear you on your career path. I'm not enjoying my job at all and can't see me liking it when I go back next year, it's just too hard with my own kids being in a childcare centre. I still want something to do with kids, but not so full on, all day with them. I will have to start looking...maybe something completely different is the way to go??? Who knows! Good luck for you to get those possies you've applied for.
Yay that Pip hasn't had any formula, now you've got $20 bucks or so to spend on YOU!!!! Hehe, that's what I said I 'd do with it, but I am yet to see it, LOL!! And yep, Lil has had honey in foods, and the other day I gave her some on toast. She luuurrrved it! And she's had traces of nuts, and my DH has given her crusts of toast with peanut butter on it, though not alot on it, iykwim, just left overs. We have no allergies or anything in our family so I'm not terribly worried.
Lil is having a nanny day today and I am goin to clean this plae to with in an inch of its life!! It' been a while since it has been done properly. I think I'm starting to nest, LOL! Ok gotta go and get the monkey ready to go, have a great day girlies :)
-
Kylie, Welcome to BB. I haven't been around this group for a while, I don't use my computer much at home, but I'm back at work now. These girls are a great group!
Von, it's been freezing in Sydney the past few days! Is it possible to be over Winter before it even starts?
Kel, I think Lily and Lachlan sound cute together :) I obviously don't worry about the top 10 lists either. It's not like Ben is unique
I hear you on the climbing thing. Ben is up on everything at the moment. We have tiles everywhere, so my heart is constantly in my mouth. He does SO well though.
I'm petrified that Ben's going to have a reaction to his shots too. It's so hard isn't it. On the one hand, you don't want them to get sick, but the reactions are frightening too :(
Mel, excellent news on the results!!! Poor Liv, at least you know what it is now and she's getting treatment.
I've never really thought about Ben's eczma being related to food. It seems to be more the weather for him I think.
Jen, I was really scared about the MMR shot, but decided to get it in the end. I really hope Ben doesn't have any lasting effects. He screamed so much for these shots and looked at the doc like "Why would you do that!". After his shot he looked at me, pointed at the doc and looked like "Well, are you going to do something?" Funny boy.
Your night sounds good on Sat night! Wish I'd managed a few more big(ish) nights between bfing and getting knocked up again!
Kaz, yay on Pip being on cows milk! Ben loves his honey toast and honey sandwiches. He's had peanut butter too, but honey is the big winner atm.
My sis' baby shower went really well yesterday - I can't believe how much stuff she got. I am totally exhausted today. I'm thinking I'll be using one of my many sick days later this week. Might as well use them up! The travel is just too much for me.
Ben's shirt finally arrived today so we're telling my folks I'm pg tonight. His shirt says "Big Brother (to be)" on the front and "yes mummy's having a baby!!!" on the back :) We figured this was the only way we could get Ben to tell the news since he has about a five word vocabulary
Have a good day!!!
-
HEy Disgirl ( funny i dont even know your first name!). That t-shirt sounds great. Enjoy telling everyone. Olivia has started climbing since yesterday, thismorning I found her getting on the couch. Shes sporting 2 bruises on her forehead from falling on the floorboards...oh well.
And shes started saying her name...you can hear the livia, the fromt bits like googly!!! So cute. Anyway, got to go shes woken up cranky
-
hI YA
Far out I have been busy around here! I am not totally sure with what but I have a freelance job on atm doing up a showrom so I have been busy pricing that etc - and we look like we are getting somewhere with our house!!! We have someone else making offers now so thats 3 people, we have told the agent we want to sign contracts TODAY!!! We have made an offer on the house on the lake up the coast and its been accepted so looks like we are on the move!!!!
Beau has been up and down with his behaviour the last few days - he is walking a lot more but really super whiny a lot, he sounds like a little girl and its really annoying!! Yesterday he wouldnt come back from the shops in the pram so I put him on my shoulders! He can be really rough and violent then last night he was climbing on the couch every 5min to give me a kiss and a cuddle then would climb back off! Too cute! He woke at 3am this morning tho, not sure if he was cold as his fluffy thick lamb suit thing i put over his pjs got wet with milk when I was putting him down do I layered about 4 track tops on him!LOL! He has a little milk and when back off to sleep til 6:30 this morning anyhow...maybe another dream?
Hey I have just babbled incessantly havnt I? beau has had enough of mummy typing and has flipped his walker so I will drop back later to do personals.....the joys!
-
Just popping in quickly am rather depressed still...we had to put our dog down on the weekend it has been coming for ages he has always been aggressive and has a neurological disorder anyway still very hard to cope with especially when I have a 3 y/o who keeps asking why we can't go to heaven to pick Bonnie up:(...so i am trying to stay strong and that has ment satying out of the office since that is where the dof used to be most days curled up under the desk so memories I am trying to avoid right now...
Jen-shettlers is easy to follow and not that much work really I could not be bothered with the charting temp mucus ect so i brought a pack of the O strips you pee on from ebay and they were rather cheap compared to the ones you get in the supermarket and i did it that way so for a girl you would try either3 days before or after you O...If you like i am happy to leand you the book i can post it to you I will just need it back in December:D for when i try for my #3
Kel-congrats on the boy
hi to everyone else sorry for the lack of personals just want to get out of this office...be back soon
-
Hi All,
Just a quicky from me.....had my mum over today telling me I am not giving Olivia enough fluid coz shes only having a morning and night bottle. She also gets her sippy cup full of water and usually finishes that. So the bottles are about 240 ml each and the cup is 355ml. Plus she gets more dairy and 3 meals plus snacks. I think its heaps. Shes peeing fine too. Ah mothers, are they just brought onto this earth to drive you batty???? Hopefully I'm not like that!!!hehehe.
Thanks for the vent:)
-
Hi ladies,
Disgirl, glad to hear the baby shower was a success. It's stressful organising stuff like that hey? I get all wound up organising things, I just want it all to go well and stress about it all. Sounds like a good idea for you to have a me day!
How did telling the parents go? What a great idea with the shirt.
Jen, yay, I'm so excited for you to hear that there is movement on the house selling front!
Maybe Beaus muscles are sore from walking? That could be why he's whingy. I found Lil quite sooky when she was learning to walk too. Maybe it's the whole mentally learning as well as physically learning thing. It could just be tough for him.
How cute getting all of those kisses and cuddles. They can be so sweet sometimes huh? Doesn't it make you all warm and gooey??
Von, sorry to hear about your dog. I remember when we had to have our dog put down, well mum did and she told me some old lady needed her for a friend so she went to live with her. I said that I needed my friend back and that she needs to come home. I didn't find out she was put down until about a year or so later! Death is all part of having pets and it's kind of good for your daughter to learn about it. I know it must be hard, but unfortunately that's life.
Thanks for the congrats, we're pretty happy to be having a boy, I'm looking forward to parenting a boy, does that sound strange??
LOL Mel, my mum does the same thing to me. Every time I leave her house I am doubting something I do! DH has to reassure me that everything I am doing is just the right thing for MY daughter. Considering adults are 'supposed' to have 2l of water/liquid a day, I think over 700ml is fine for a tiny one yr old...Lil has three bottles of milk usually only about 150-180 mls each, a sippee cup of water (200ml- half of it usually ends up on the floor or spat out on her top) then I refill the cup and she might drink some/all of that or might not. I don't care as long as she has one full cup. With 3 (sit-down at the table) meals and bits and peices in between while she's playing. If she's weeing and pooing fine and is happy then that's all she needs. You're doing the right thing for your daughter!! Don't doubt that.
As for me well, I met up with a bb friend today. It was so nice to meet her in person. Lil and her little one are only three or four months different in age and it was so sweet to watch her play with a bub her own age. All of my other friends kids are older.
I am really tired now though as I said before, organising things stresses me out! I almost fell asleep on the lounge earlier, but DH came home early an woke me up then Lil woke cause she heard his voice. He always comes home just when a sleep cycle ends and she's in that in between stage of sleep where she might wake up or might go back to sleep. Naturally she wakes when she hears him!
I just took my temp before and its 38.7 does anyone know if having a higher temp in pg is normal, ie: is your normal temp higher in pg than it usually is?
Anyway, I'm going to prepare dinner, tah tah!!
-
HEy KEl,
Thanks I needed the reassurance. I know I am doing the right thing, but sometimes she really says things that get on my nerves. I got dh to reassure me many times tonight too:) AAggg.
And yep, youre about 1 degree higher while pregnant, all that extra blood pumping around.
Oh and to make myself feel better I was just thinking about what my mum did last week when looking after Olivia....she decided that the yoghurt straight from the fridge was too cold, so she warmed it up in the microwave...then Liv threw most of it up...why do I listen and beat myself up??? Especially when she does that!!!!
Well I am having a night infont of the tv while dh is at ice hockey training. Have a great night.
-
Hiya....
Unfortunately Kel the house had fallen thru :( so its wine all around tonight here!!! Yep havin the hots is absolutely a pg symptom! Speaking of that had a really sexy dream this morning and got AF today so Dh didnt get the benefit! Oh well....even if its a different kind of hots....
Mel - Gosh I am glad my mum starts and finishes every sentence with "oh well you know what youre doing..." even when I have zero idea!! You are doing a great job! I am trying to get Beau to drink LESS as he soaks thru his nappies in the mornings all the time!
Von - Hugs about your dog thats sad - take it easy on yourself - thanks for the shettlers info I am going to look up the o things on ebay - do I put in o strips?
Hi Dis and Kaz and Kris and Erin too - gotsta go SATC is on Oprah
x:dance:
-
Jen sorry your house fell through- lots of luck getting rid of it and enjoy a few glasses of wine for me!!!
My mum just gets on my nerves at times, though shes been really good to me since Olivia has been around. I know she means well and she does say that shes not trying to tell me what to do...but!!! I think I am just extra sensitive too at the moment.
Olivia had soaked her nappy this morning, dh was sure what to do!!! It went through all her jarmies so I am sure shes getting plenty of fluid!!!
We went to the paed today and talked about heaps of stuff. Firstly eczema..i have to lather her with sorbalene twice a day and washe her with qv body wash and see how that goes. Her left foot turns in, I suppose due to having been squashed inside me and born with positional talipers and hip dysplasia, so her joints are all loose and the fact that she sits on her legs/feet doesnt help, so its back to physio to strengthen her up. Other stuff but I cant think!!! We go and see him again in Jan for a check up.
her sores are almost healed, the paed wanted me to keep her off til next week but I negotiated tomorrow and had to negotiatie that with day care, much to their horror. It was like "where did she get that from?" I'm just crabby with the whole day care thing. And work too. I just want to work from home. problem is I get great money doing my job. If Olivia stays sleeping well, I might just work friday nights...that might work.
Sorry I'm on a bit of a downer, just thinging about life again...I was like this last time!!!
thanks for listening:)
-
Hey All,
Mel, dont worry about being down, my official name at home atm is Debbie Downer and DH's is Bob Bummer. He was in bed at 7:30 last night....never a good sign. We just need to sell our house and move on - why does money seem to be the root of everything?
Wow, you cope so amazingly well seeing as tho Olivia has had lots of challenges that the rest of our bubbas havnt. You sound like you have a good Paed, lets hope with some more walking and getting around Olivia's foot might get some more strength too? i wash beau with Sorbelene and lather it on after bath too - if i do that for week it sorts itself out (so then I get lazy again!) - even tho my SIL says her paed says sorbelene is bad cause of its contents.....she is a bit like your mum but just gives you the withering look IYKWIM? Says it all!
Well Beau was just 'up' last night walking everywhere, he seems more confident at night time which is weird - but he is up everywhere again this morning too so.....he iwalking!!!!
-
Mel, I'm a Mel too, although I'm a Melinda not a Melissa :)
You are a great mum! As Jen said, you have a lot more to deal with with Liv than what we've had and you're doing just fine. By the sounds of it, Liv is drinking a lot more than Ben does - he's lucky to get 300mls a day - he just won't have more. He wees and poos fine though so I don't see a prob.
Ben says his name too, but usually all he can talk about is Daddadadadadad! Except when he's tired and it's a real sooky "Muuuuuuuuum!". He's started saying "Nan" now much to my mum's delight. He really only says about five or six words though. I'm sure he understands hundreds though.
Von, I'm really sorry about your dog. We had to get our family dog put down a few years ago and I still tear up thinking about it. They really are a part of our families. :(
Jen, sorry about the house falling through. Where are you moving to? I missed all of that while I was away from BB.
I'm the same as you with Ben and QV/sorbelene cream. As soon as he clears up I stop doing it - lazy, lazy, lazy!!!!
Kel, Ben seems to have a radar for his dad too. Not good since DH works shift!!! Seems to go through stages though, sometimes he doesn't hear him, othertimes it's EVERY night. Grrrrrr!
Ben's tshirt was a hit on Monday night. Dad took a while to catch on. He made some comment about "is he going into the big brother house?" and then when mum asked/screamed "REally?!?!" he was like "oh....are you pregnant?" Oh dear. A senior moment if ever I've seen one LOL They are both thrilled though. Their 4th grandchild in less than two years - sixth overall. My sis is excited too - she's due in a month so the bubs will be about 7 months apart.
We're telling DH's family on the long weekend. We had some dramas on that side of the family this week so we're going to see how things go before we tell them. We're a bit selfish and don't want our news to be swallowed up by the sad stuff that's happening, so we'll see.
Ben decided yesterday that he would walk. He has been shuffling around a bit for a couple of months, but yesterday it was like he woke up and went "Hmm, I think I'll walk everywhere today!". So walking it is! He can walk easily from one side of the room to the other. He did exactly the same with crawling too - went from nothing to full on crawling in an instant. Strange, strange boy!!!! Hopefully now I won't have to carry him as much. He's just getting too heavy!
Sooooo glad it's Thursday! Bring on the weekend!
-
Hey Mel and jen- i think I was having a bit of a downer over the past few days- obviously I was, reading back!!! feeling much better after talking with dh about some things.
Just a question- when you put sorbalene in the bath, is it the lotion? I tried that once before and it was all gluggy!! Its hard to lather the girl up twice a day, she barely sits still! Shes a great kid with a huge personality despuite some of the things shes gone/going through. I've been blessed. I am so happy with her.
It must be walking time fort your boys!! isnt it fun?!?! I took Olivia to the shopping centre without the pram the other day, OMG it was hard work, especially when she wouldnt hold my hand or go the way I wanted. And she cracked it if I picked her up coz she wanted to walk. Cute but hard work!!! I distracted her with a vegie california roll!!!
Mel am glad things went well with your announcement...parents are funny, sometimes they just dont get it, or they are on another planet!!! seniors moment indeed. Good luck with the inlaws!
Oh anyway better get back to work...i'm supprised they havent blocked this site yet!!!!
Chat later x o

evening ladies,
another cough/snotty nose tonight. really actually hoping he *is* ill so I get tomorrow off work. how sad's that!!!
DisMel - must say, how wonderful to have your parents so close to you to do stuff like that! We might do that if we're blessed with DH's sister/brother ;)
MiniMel - how cute at the shopping centre! It would drive me batty - just walking him to the change table is hard! And don't worry about being on a downer, happens to us all ;) Also, go to a pharmacy, they sell sorbelene wash there, a sorbelene soap if you will.
Jen - sorry about the house. Funny though, it will work out. *huggs*
Us - well, I've made an appointment for Tuesday with the EAP, which is the "employee assistance program". They have "trained psychologists and life coaches" - it was recommended I do that after I bawled in a meeting for half an hour. Doh. Told DH and he was "oh ok, whatever".
ARGHHhhh.
anyhows, the house is a mess, I have no clean undies and will either have to:
a) do a britney or
b) wear DHs or
c) wear pantyhose without undies
I hate a & c, so that leaves b). Doh. Wonder if he has any clean?
What else? Ahhh, have started getting rid of the "baby" stuff - like custard. Pip had adult custard with banana - its weird to stop buying the "lite" stuff! I wonder why "lite" is so bad?
Oooh, and Tuesday the childcare phoned me at work (at 8:20am) to say Pip had fallen and bumped his head, did I want to pick him up? I mean, seriously - I checked if he was bleeding (no) or had mismatched pupils (no) or fluid coming from his ears (no) so asked them to keep him there and not give him his morning nap. And when I picked him up, there wasn't even a bump there. A bruise there today though. ahhhwell.
I just want sleep. for about a year.
-
Oh Kaz, hugs to you, I'll come and do your washing for you because as of today there is no more work, so I have plenty of time!!!
I would wear dhs undies, they are much more comfy than wearing dirty ones and heaps more comfy than just wearing stockings!!!! Or you could get one of pips nappies!!!
Hope things sort themselves out for you soon and good luck with the life coach...might be just what you need....put things into perspective.
On that note, am going to shower and bed, have an obs appointment tomorrow
-
Hellooo!!!!!
Wow - I've missed soooo much! I'm glad all of you are well! I can't possible catch up on all those missed posts so will have to do better keeping up with you all!
We've been super busy - Our unit is now for sale and we're busy searching for a new house...it has been quite depressing as we realise we're extremely limited to what we can afford...We have our first lot of people coming through our house tomorrow...I wonder how long it will all take??? Mind you we still need to find a place so it doesn't matter if it takes a month or so to sell...
I'm already sick of keeping it perfectly clean though...LOL!
Umm what else??? Ooh the last couple of days I've been feeling bubs moving around so thats been super exciting!! Although I still don't have a tummy yet! LOL!
Kids are well! Dylan is such a little terror but is just gorgeous! He's running around everwhere and had another fall on pavers on the weekend (we were up at bonnie doon) so another big egg on his head and then tripped and knocked his cheek on a solid pine bed so almost ended up with a black eye from that...in the wars a bit thats for sure! But he's a climber as well so it's bound to happen...
He loves singing at the moment and can do some of the wiggles actions which is cute. He sits with Louis and they do row row row your boat! He can also do a diamond in the sky with twinkle twinkle. He doesn't talk a lot but knows a lot iykwim? Although if you ask him what a snake, lion, dinosaur or fishy say he makes the noises. He says mum, dad, oma, drink, birdie, dog, etc so going along quite well. He's quite rough but loves cuddles and kisses as well - its so cute when the 2 boys have a cuddle and a kiss...although they both annoy each other at times as well!
Ok - thats enough of a rant from me...I'll endeavour to keep in touch a bit better now! Chat later!
-
Mel, don't worry about having a bit of a downer - you didn't seem too bad to me! I didn't even notice really!!!!
I don't use sorbelene in the bath, I use QV bath oil and QV lotion when he's out and dry.
Kaz, bummer on the clean knickers! Our house looks like a bomb has gone off in it. Dog fur everywhere. I haven't vacuummed in a week. The floor needs a mop. Ben's toys are everywhere. Washing is actually the only thing I keep on top of....don't talk to me about the ironing!!!
Poor Pip. A bit of an over-reaction by the daycare, but maybe they have to give you that option as their duty of care obligations?
Good luck with the life coach :)
Kris, great to hear from you! How exciting to feel bub move!!!!
Well girls, I've gotta get some work done today. Thank goodness it's Friday! I'm feeling good though, after Ben slept for 12.5 hrs meaning I got to sleep for 10 - woohoo!
Have a good Friday!
-
Yeah on the big sleep Disgirl! LOL at the messy house - mine is normally like that all the time...it has honestly never been so clean and it's killing me! The poor kids don't know whats going on - LOL! I normally only do a good clean every week or 2! We don't have pets though which makes it easier and mostly floorboards...I figure I'm building their immune systems! LOL!
-
Hi all,
Mel, LOL @ your mum heating yogurt in the micro, what did she think might happen??!!
I hope you can negotiate with work to work at home. I wish I had that option. Sometimes I hate that aspect of my job. But then I like it too cause then I have no choice but to do my work at work, I just can't take things home to do!
DH and I took Lily to the shops with out the pram the other day too. I have a harness for her because she talks to anyone and is pretty quick! But she still just went what ever way she wanted to and kept on pulling on the harness til we went that way with her! Then she nearly got run over by a trolley, though that wasn't her fault...OMG she was a menace!! Luckily the pram was just in the car so we went to get it.
Jen, sorry to hear about the house. That's a bummer. I hope it happens soon for you. I hate money at the mo too. It soooo sucks living week to week. I find it so stressful. DH doesn't seem to see how bad it can be, just one little thing needs to go wrong and we are really up ***** creek.
Yaaayyy that B is walking, it won't be long before he's running away from you!
Disgirl, how nice for your kids to be close to their cousins. Lil's closest cousin is 4yrs old. And it's not looking like she'll be getting anymore.
And yaaayyy for you guys too that Ben is walking!
And lucky you getting so much sleep. I can't remember that last time I got more than 4 or 5 hours at a time. I know it could be worse, but working and being pg makes things harder! Especially when I can't have a nanna nap.
Kaz, I hope Pip is feeling better today. Lily's nose eyes and mouth have been dripping like a tap, poor little monkey looks sooo miserable. She had the worst sleep last night and I ended up bringing her into our bed where she slept for 5hrs straight! But woke up at 5.45am, grrr...
LOL not having undies, I thought that only happened to me, hehehe!! I usually just wear DH's. He usually wears boxers so he always has some spare undies in his drawers ;)
We don't do baby stuff anymore and haven't for a while. Except for yogurt, she seems to not like 'adult' yogurt, but luuuurves the 'baby' stuff. She eats almost anything so I'm lucky and she likes tasty food, spicy stuff doesn't bother her, in fact she love it. The only reason low fat is not reccommended is because babies need fat, and the energy it provides. I have given Lil skim milk once or twice, on the occaision that we've run out of full fat milk.
And yep the reason the ccc calle dyou is due to duty of care. If something worse had have come of his fall then they are liable, so they need to cover their a$$e$. I remember one time a little girl at the centre I worked at broke her upper arm and no one knew. We (I) checked her over, rotated her arm and she didn't cry or anything, then went on playing after a bit of a cry. Then next week she came in in a full arm cast!! We were lucky her mum and dad were really great about it.
Kris, yaaayy that you're buying a house!! I know it might be depressing not being able to get what you want but at least it's a step up! I can't wait til we can buy a house.
And yaayy you're feeling bubby moving. I started to feel this bub move pretty early too, about 15wks for sure but earlier I thought I could but not for sure! It just makes it all a bit more real huh? And makes you take time to kind of notice it a bit more.
How cute Dylan sounds, singing and dancing. Lily has the most hilarious dance moves, she puts her arms in the air and sticks her tummy out and bends her knees and bops, it's so funny.
Well as for us, I think I'm getting the flu. Mum and my neice have been sick with it and Lily is getting it too. Poor little mokey has been a bit miserable today. She's been dosed up to the eyeballs with panadol and nurofen, I've been alternating it since the dr said it's better for fever control?? I am buggered, with Lily waking every hour then half hour til about 1am this morning, then sleeping til 5.45am. There was also night roadworks outside our units, literally outside the window. All I could hear all night was trucks beeping and workmen yelling at each other. I'm surprised Lil slept at all.
I had a dr appointment today. She said that bubby is measuring 3wks ahead for my dates...no wonder I feel so huge! And he's laying breech along my spine, so will be giving me bad backache and big kicks in the cervix/bladder! Which he does. I have to spend time on my hands and knees...maybe I should scrub the floor that way instead of mopping...at least something in the house will be clean, LOL!!
Well that's it for now, this turned into an epic! Hope you all have a great weekend :D
-
Hi!
Had a cruisy day...babysat my nephew for a few hours and had people through the house. We went for a walk when they came and Louis the lazy bones sat in the pram while Dylan walked. He was a bit of terror but I just made him hold my hand - then he'd had enough anyway by the time we walked all the way to the shops so I swapped them around. He had to touch everything though - tree's, fences, plants, flowers etc - was very cute - he was so excited! He doesn't usually get a turn because I can't have the 2 of them out walking and he is likely to run off...
Kel - What a bugger you guys are getting sick - big hugs...That would drive me nuts having workers outside!!! GRRR! Wow at measuring 3 weeks ahead! Could be the way bubs is lying thats pushing your measurements out - cheeky little man! Ooh the scrubbing the floor doesn't sound fun at all!
Enjoy your weekends - we're just off to check out houses!

Hi All,
Glad to know everyone is doing well....we are good here - Beau is tucked up in bed so I am having a wine and have convinced Dh to cook tea (just mushroom risotto) and yes my DH does cook well girls but dont be fooled - I do most of the cooking around here! Beau tucked into some bacon and spinach tart I made and then hade a bit of bacon and eggs on Sunday and his bum and testies are red raw, he is in pain when I change his bum so I have been putting cortisone on too - could it be nappy rash or the bacon do you think? he hast had nappy rash before to my knowledge - I am not sure what it looks like?
Kris - congrats on listing your house, I have been keeping ours spotless now for 10weeks so I hope yours sells fast. I am so over it I can't possibly begin to go into it. Dylan sounds super sweet on your little walks - how has he been recently with his spells?
Mel - Hope you arent so debbie downer now - and hope Olivia is still sleeping well for you too. Um with the sorbolene - i just use J&J pump pack (although i have been told this makes it thinner) and i dont put it in the water but just some in my hand and rub/wash his bits with that and usually at the end of his bath so its not all rubbed off.
Kel - Oh sorry you and Lil aint feelin too good - I hope you guys are feeling better now - i hear you on the roadworks outside your door - I cant wait to move to a house that at least has a 'buffer' driveway and garden before the babys room!! Do you have asecond bedroom for when bubba comes? Good on you for trying shopping with no pram! We are only doing little runs without it atm. Curse the person who nearly ran into her with a trolley!
Kaz- Hope you have clean undies on
Dis -Congrats on your cute announcement and your senior seniors! LOL
Hi Erin and Von too
One last question, when Beau squeals for things he is pointing at and whinges - if I say 'stop' he mimmicks me like its a game, he says 'dop' - I have been trying to ignore it hoping it will pass as he seems to like the screeching sound he makes - what do you guys do when your bubs act up like this?
Ok dinner is ready best go x
-
Hey All,
Jen, lucky you getting dinner cooked for you, although I cant complain...dh cooked ours on the bbq, but I prepared it!! A glass of wine would be lovely. I really hope you sell up soon. Ouch on the red bum and testies..not sure if it would be the bacon, you could always try it again later and see if it does the same thing. With Beaus impetigo, did his sores leave a scar or take a while to fully heal? Olivia has finished her 10 day course and the sores are better but look as though they are dry and will leave scars. I am putting sorb on her face and lips too, hoping this will help.
She still sleeping better, although today I took her down to the shopping centre this morning with my mum and she insisted on walking most of the time, we came back home around 12 and she slep in the car for 20 minutes. Woke up soon after I put her in the cot, so she slept all of 30 minutes today and has been super grizzly. I was pizzed off cause ijust wanted to sleep! Needless to say, shes had her bath and a bottle and asleep before 8!! YAY...me time.
Oh and liv does the point and grunt! I just say what do you want? and try and guess.
I have been shopping for maternity bras today, ended up just buying a cheapy from big w just for comfort sakes. Am starting to feel the odd movement down in the nether regions!!! Oh talking about nether regions...Olivia has found hers and every time I take her nappy of she goes for a bit of a feel, was doing same in the bath. Nothing to worry about I suppose!!!
I brought her a size 3 jacket, hoping it will last her a few winters and a night light for her room.
On the home front, dh and I are looking at extending as opposed to moving, as our house has only 2 bedrooms. We got the builder in the other day and looks like we can but up another floor for around $90K with 3 more bedrooms, a bathroom and rumpus. So just need to look at finances and we might go ahead soon...more renos while I'm pregnant!
Well enough yabber from me, might go watch the idiot box and eat chocolate:)

Hi guys been really trying to get on here to say HELLO, wow that's hard sometimes.
Just had my parents visit for 2weeks, that was amazing I got to feel what it's like to have a regular babysitter. I looked in the shops, enjoyed my coffee it was amazing. They also spoilt Charlie heaps so the house is full of stuff.
Charlie however was still not well whilst they were here & we had several wake ups each night. Though I still believe it is teeth & I'm happy to announce that the last 2 (exl 2yo one's) have cut...so here's to fingers crossed he starts to sleep better....past 2 nights have been fairly good. We have an appt with a Paed tomorrow, so see what happens there.
Nothing much new here, I'm working 3days a week now which shall be interesting. Charlie has slowly adjusted to Childcare...though they still cant get him to sleep there which is a worry. He comes home zonked, in bed by 6pm though still has great day sleeps when home. We've tried everything I'm not sure what else to do. I survived my 2weeks without DH & he's off again soon so hopefully I make it through that. Charlie is sooo cute atm, he say's "tickle, tickle" & "ta" for everything he can see. Has mastered the art of throwing a tantrum a beauty...stomps his feet on the ground & everything. He has learnt to climb on & off his bike though not climbing the furniture yet (fingers crossed not for a while). Plays in the cupboard with tupperware & spoons more than he plays with his toys.
Jen, Charlie doesn't do that...but when I tell him "NO" he just looks at me, smiles, giggles then sticks his tounge out & does it anyway.
Kel, congrats on a boy YAY & that picture in your ticker is just sooooo very cute!
Hi to everyone else, did hope to send more messages but Desperate Housewives is on...got to run.
Good sleep vibes to everyone!!!
-
Hi girls,
Kris, yeah, the roadworks suck. But I guess thats what we get for living on a main road. I just saw the flashing lights through the blinds again so I guess they're back at it tonight, I hope they don't work right outside our place again.
I'm hoping it's the way bubs is laying with the measurements...or at least that he slows down in his growth!I really don't want a whopper baby! He's posterior at the moment and breech so I don't know if that makes a difference? My bump is a different shape to what it was with Lil. I have an antenatal appt tomorrow so we'll see if he's moved or not. I have been trying to shift him with sitting properly and stuff.
Jen, mmmmm, mushroom risotto...dddrrrrooooolllll...you guys eat such delicious food! We just had ham and cheese toasties. DH made them cause I refused to cook tonight, LOL! I'm having a lazy day. Besides the fact that we have no food , its been 2 1/2 wks since we went grocery shopping!!
With Beau's bits, it could be the ham/bacon. Maybe he's allergic? Has he had it before? Did he eat/drink anything else thats new? Is he teething sometimes that can cause nappy rash, Lily gets it a bit when she's teething.
It sounds like nappy rash, though it could be thrush too. Does he have any kind of discharge (sorry if tmi!) if he does its probably thrush. If you can let him run around in the nud for a bit. Pump the heater up and let him go nudey after a bath maybe. I did that for Lil tonight and she absolutely loved it!! Then slather on some barrier cream like bepanthen or something. Only use the cortisone sparsely or not at all to make sure it's not anything serious. Change him often and wipe him down well (but gently!!) every time you change him, maybe just use wet washers maybe with a little sorbelene on it, avoid any drying chemicals on his bum, like soap, wipes... make sure everywhere is dry- his penis, under his testes...when you put another nappy on him. If it isn't gone or getting better by the end of the day it might be thrush or another kind of infection, go to the dr.
No we don't have another room for bubs. Him and Lil will have to share for a while until we can get a house. Though he'll be in our room until he's one (like Lil) or sleeping through the night. I can't wait til we can buy a house too, but thats not for another few yrs!
With B squeeling, it's pretty normal for him to do it, but to stop him, try not to give him what he wants til he says a 'word'. Anything will do, though if he can say what it is try to wait til he says that. Though if it's just too painful and frustrating for you both then give it to him and say what it is a few times, like 'drink, ta, drink, drink...'. Lily has started to squeel for things too and she doesn't get anything (most times!) til she says what she wants, or she says 'this'.
As for us, well I am coughing like there's no tomorrow my chest and throat are sore from coughing, ugh! I think I have a chest infection! Lil's still snotty and I think she's teething again, grrr!! I can't wait til she gets all of her teeth! She's headbutting things, including me, which she does if she's in pain usually with teething, though she might have a headache too from her cold. We had an atrocious night's sleep again, though she was at mums cause we went to a wedding and I came to mums at midnight. She'd already woken three times, and stayed awake for an hour and a half, til 11pm! She woke as soon as I got there, then every hour til 4am, then thankfully slept til 7.15am. I am buggered, but DH is going to let me sleep all night cause he got to sleep all night last night, at home mind you by himself for an uninterrupted nights sleep....I don't remember what that is like! I don't think I could sleep a night through anymore even if I tried.
Anyway gonna go and have a shower to go to bed ;) . Hope you are all well....night night!!
ETA, Hi Erin and Mel, will catch up later!
-
hello ladies.
jen - Pip gets nappy rash like that, I just use MooGoo on it (I swear by moogoo - google it ;) ) after every nappy change, and it doesn't get worse. I've tried bepanthan and the zinc cream, but that's not really done anything. The moogoo rubs right in, and keeps everything so smooth. Otherwise, nappy-free time all round :)
Mel - ughs re renos. I think that our reno stress is what causeing me to stress out. Anyhows, I can't believe you bought her a size 3 jacket! Pip's still swimming in size 1!
Kel - we had fish & chips cause I just couldn't be bothered. And Fri night was indian, Sat night leftover indian, sun night enchiladas. pip had a leftover enchilada for lunch today, he loved it.
He may say stuff but I don't understand him, I think cause of my cold I really can't hear people talk in general, let alone with an accent or worse. *sighs*
Erin - that sux re the not napping. I hope it sorts out soon for you.
Kris - awwwww re Dylan walking!
anyhows, I'm more-or-less off to bed. Taking tomorrow off ill. I *do* have clean undies now though. And DH just asked what I wanted done with the wet baby washing ... that I did overnight last night. Turns out he "didn't know" it could go in the dryer, despite pulling the baby washing out of the dryer to put his work shirts in? Go figure.
cyas all.

Hi girls,
We had a scare on the weekend. I started bleeding on Sun evening. It was awful. Bright red blood. I panicked and thought it was the beginning of the end. It had fizzled to brown spotting by Mon morning, went to GP who sent me for scans and bloods. I got to see my little bub!!! Heart was beating away and I could see AND hear it so it was a big relief. So scary though, we didn't have anything at all like that with Ben. We always said Bub #2 was going to be a lot of work since we got it easy with Ben. I guess it's already starting!
Ben is running around like a mad little thing. He decided walking isn't good enough now and runs everywhere. He's a quick little bugger too. So, he didn't even walk for a week LOL Oh well, maybe I won't stack on the weight with this bub. Ben will keep me burning it off!
I don't really have time for personals (been off sick the last two days with scans and stuff), but just quickly...
Kel, Sorry you are having crappy nights. It must be hell being as pregnant as you are :( Let's hope it is Lil's teeth and the end is near.
Kaz, Hope you feel better soon.
Jen, the red bum could be teething? The only time Ben's had nappy rash was from teething. Lasted three days and was gone. Bacon didn't seem to affect him and he had a whole bacon and egg sandwich at footy one week - I don't know where he fits it!
Mel, Kris and Erin....hi!
S'pose I'd better do some work!
-
*hugs* disgirl. glad everything OK with bub2 take care you.
-
Hey Mel, hope things are ok. Its really scary when hat happens. We had it with Olivia, this pregnancy we had nothing.. Glad you got to see your little bub so early. Just try and take it a bit easier...if thats possible.
I am going to go to bed now...had mums group here and Livs so tired and cranky. Thankfully shes sleeping:) Will chat later...hello everyone
-
Hey Guys,
Dis thats so scary I am glad it all turned put to be nothing and you saw your bubba x Hey Beau says tickle tickle too!! How funny!
Thanks for all your advice kel and kaz with Beaus bum LOL - I did a bit of a combo of suggestions and its looking better now - he woke up after a 45min nap yesterday with an explosive poo so hopsfully that was the end of it - he never wakes up with one IYKWIM? I dont think he knew what was going on! Had mum over yesterday and she has a spare car seat so we were out and about and Beau was in bed at 6pm. He has been waking at 5:30am this week which has sucked big time - but he had a 2hr nap this morning from 8:30 which is weird!
He has been waking
House still sucks - cannot even discuss with DH as we are so frustrated.
Going out shopping with a girlfriend this arvo as I am helping her decorate her new flat so we are choosing things - I am sure I will see a billion things i want!
Hi every one else - B is whinging gots to go!!!
-
Hi girls! Thanks for the good wishes :)
Jen, glad Beau's bottom has cleared up. Have you noticed if he's teething? That could explain the waking and the weird sleeping patterns too. Ben seems to sleep a lot during the day when he's teething. Those back ones are buggers!
Speaking of buggers, that's what Ben was last night!!! We stay at mum's on Tuesday and Thursday nights to cut my travel time to and from work. Thankfully mum offered to stay up with him last night and sent me to be at 8:45. Remember that early-pregnancy fatigue? Anyway, apparantly he wouldn't go down until 10pm!!!! If I was home alone (DH works shift) I would have been buggered!
Don't you love this age??? He's coming out with new words every day and new ways to make us laugh. DH was undressing him for the bath and Ben leant forward and blew a big raspberry on DH's tummy. What a crack up! Totally out of the blue. He does anything for a laugh. I think we have created the class clown!!!!
-
Hiya girls,
Well we have had a pretty good few days. Lil's still pretty snotty, but I think it's the last of it. She's been sleeping better, usually only one or two wakes a night (yay!) and 6.30-7.30 mornings. She's been pretty clingy to me though and very snuggly, I think because of the foul weather here in Sydney for the past week or so. We have been cooped up inside for days together and I am soo unmotivated to do anything other than sit on the floor and play with her, so needless to say the house is a pigsty...no really it's disgusting! I haven't washed for over a week and my laundry is bursting at the seams! But the rain has been constant and my dryer died months ago. I will have to take some to mums cause I have one pair of undies left and Lil has no singlets, she's been wearing tshirts for a few days, LOL! At least it's been cold enough to do it! And my kitchen, oh my poor kitchen...I have the leaning tower of washing and the sink top and bench next to it are full to overflowing of washed dishes that I haven't been bothered to pack away. I have two baskets of folded clothes in the baby's cradle in my room to pack away....ugh!!! So much to do. THe only things that have been kept clean properly are the toilets, dining table and kitchen benches (other than the one with all of the dishes stacked on top of it!). I have been sooo lazy.
Lucky today I'm having a sickie! Well not really I did have the migrane of the century last night (the first for this pg, wooohoooo!) and didn't sleep so well. I woke up with it this morning too, but after calling in sick to work, taking Lil to mums (I didn't tell her I'm not going to work- norty I know!!) and downing some panadol and a big glass of water, I feel surprisingly good! Maybe I just needed a me day ;) . Our car broke down yesrteday so I couldn't go to work yesterday either. They must think I'm such a slacker, although I don't really care what they think of me. Things just seem to happen on a Thursday and Friday here, the days I work, LOL! Oh well...Car still isn't fixed and it might be a while until we can afford to fix it, which sucks. Though really we don't need it, it just makes life with a toddler and humongous belly so much easier!
Kaz, I hope you're having a good day and feeling a bit better. How did your job interview go? (hehe I read your other thread :) )
Dis, :comfort: I know how scary bleeding in pg can be. I'm glad to hear things are ok though. I hope you're taking it easy!
Lil runs everywhere too, walking just isn't quick enough. And she's quick!! You should see her run when she gets her hands on the tv remote, she's so funny!!
Jen, I hope B's bum is better. 5.30 wake ups suck. We had a few last week here too. I just sleep when she does if that happens. I forget everything else.
Sorry to hear about your house. I hope there's movement soon!
Sounds like fun decorating some elses house! They spend the money but you get to say what goes where!! Hope you had a good time :)
Anyway I should go and do the doemstic thing, god knows this place needs it!!! Happy Friday all.
