Hi!
A great night for me! He fed at 7pm then went until 2.15 and then woke at 6 but I brought him into bed with me and fed him at 7.20am! Yeah!
Kaz - Sounds like your doing everything perfectly. You are really limited when bubba is little small...trust me you'll find new things to do as they get older! Thats great he holds onto a rattle - I haven't really tried with Dylan yet but I don't think he can hold on yet...It's funny because one day they won't be able to do something and the next they just can! Very clever little bubbas!
Danni - Wow I'm surprised Mason is still in 0000! Obviously it's his length keeping him in 0000's as his weight is definitely right for 000. 0000 is meant to be for 56cm and 4kg...
Kel - Thats great your bf so much! Hopefully your milk picks up soon! Sounds like you've got a good routine happening!
Better put cheeky back to sleep! Have a good day everyone! Rained heaps hear overnight but seems to be sunny this morning (although I'm sure it's freezing!)
-
Well, the harness stays on for another 6 to 12 weeks:( But at least it can come off for 20mins a day, so that means bath time, yay. We got to have her out of the harness while we waited for the specialist and physio and I cant believe how long she is. Her 000 bonds suit fits her nicely, but we will now have to look at going up soon due to the harness. Oh well.
As for bringing teddies/dolls into play, I just get them and make out they are talking to her, she smiles at them and touches them. I also just sit them next to her.
Have a great day all
Love Melissa
-
Hi!
Melissa - bugger! Thats great it can come off for 20min though!!!
Dylan seems more settled today...has woken heaps but I've mananged to get him back to sleep. It's all just wind..poor little munchkin - I can't wait until his little stomach starts coping a bit better.
I'm getting a cold...grrrr...just made a big pot of chicken noodle soup (for dh) and minestrone (for me and Louis). Louis seems to be be getting it as well. I hate that we can't take cold and flu when bfing...Have to wait for dh to get home with some panadol.
Off for Dylans immunisations soon....Definitely not what we need with a house full of sick people...
-
Melissa - Its a bugger you've still got some weeks ahead with the harness. Thank goodness its winter and she won't be getting too warm and uncomfortable in it. Great she can get into the bath though, she is sure to love that.
Kristie - I agree it will be so nice to see the kids start interacting together. It is very much a one way thing at the moment, and Al really isn't that interested in Matt yet. Is Dylan good with Louis eg does he try and poke his eyes out? there is a toddler in our mothers group that went after all of the babies lol
gotta run xx
-
Hi girls,
Wow on some of the babies that are sleeping so well. We are up at least once and often twice. Once he has fed though he is straight back to bed. But I'm not too worried. In the scheme of things its such a small part of their whole life. Last night he had a big sleep but it started at 5:30 so we were up at our usual 2:30am. It was the nicest feed though. My bbs were sooo full and he just fed while looking at my face. I love it when he does that! As if he is just checking I am still there. :)
During the day we do a few things but not the same things each day. Iggy has a cot mobile that he loves (but it is a wind up one), and an activity centre as well that he plays with. We do tummy time and sometimes baby massage, go for a walk with the dog, go outside and look at the trees if it isnt too cold and windy. We try and practice with the sling (I still cant get it right!) and get him to sit u on our lap. Listen to music, Read to him etc. Not all in one day but we try and do some different things each day.
Am thinking of going to mum/baby yoga next week and mayeb also a babes in arms session at the movies.
Anyone got any interesting plans for the weekend?
-
sorry melissa about the harness :(
Im so jealous! Mason cannot grasp anything and often wont "play" with his toys either
im sick too!! its really struck me down and i feel awful!
today we have the champions of the baby show day that they invuted mason too. its been 8 weeks since the baby show and they wont even recognise him lol
yesterday went to toys r us and bought all xmas presents! so glad thars all done :D
-
Well someone stole my baby last night and gave me a crying, non sleeping clingon and it continues..She ate constantly from 430 yesterday arvo, so i though i would have a great sleep, but she lept from 1130pm til 2am, then wouldn go back to slepp despite all attempts to resettle. Finally we popped her in our bed and she was asleep by 430, then awake again at 6am, then woke up at 8am. I have had to hold her most of the morning coz everytime I put her down, she cries. I try resettling, but to no avail. She has given me 10 minutes to take the washing off and write this post, but is stirring now:( I was reading that wonder weeks book and she is due to go through the 12 week storm, great. I was so excited to be able to sleep for the past five days, lets hope this doesnt last too long!
Hey Danni, hope you get better soon.
Hi everyone... got to run, washing to do and clingon to attend to:)
Love Melissa

Hi!
I have an unhappy boy today from his immunisations...after shopping today he decided to vomit everywhere as well...poor little munchkin. Not sure if it's from his needles or something else now. He hasn't done that for ages and it was nearly 2 hours after his feed. Yuck. He's sleeping now but I'm sure he's going to wake up super hungry!
Deb - Dylan has just started getting a bit rougher I think because he wants to play. Pokes his eye and takes his dummy out because he wants him to "wake up jeff" hehehe.
Krys - It is gorgeous when they watch you while they're feeding!! They rely on us for everything and are so trusting..it's gorgeous!
Ooh I went to mum and bubs movies a few times with Louis - it was great. If you're going to do it I suggest you do before they can crawl otherwise you can't sit and enjoy it...
For us this weekend we have SIL's b'day dinner Sat night out at a restaurant (hope the kids are good!) and a baby shower on Sunday. Otherwise I don't plan on doing much - just resting and getting over this cold! We're getting foxtel installed - right now actually - so we'll be vegging in front of the tv!
Danni - Hope you go well today! LOL at buying xmas presents already. I'm waiting for the kmart sale - it starts July 5th. I also buy all of Louis' b'day presents then as well usually...
Melissa - Big hugs...Oh no...we'll probably all have a bubba like that in a few weeks!! hehe. It's so hard when they're like that. At least you'll be able to tell us how good it is after this stage...
-
Melissa - bad news on both the "12 weeks storm" and the harness - but taking it off for a little each day is good. And hopefully you'll lose your "clingon" soon!
Kris - Hope you feel better soon
Danni - Wow on super-organised for Xmas!
Krys - that baby yoga sounds fun, I've been thinking about babes in arms movies too. But the next movie is Shrek the 3rd - not in Vic though. Meh. Patrick also watches me when I'm giving him his bottle, he's just gorgeous. Makes me forget that this is the first time he's been quiet all day when he gives me those eyes.
Anyhows, my "me" time is over, back downstairs to rescue him from his dad :D And maybe have a glass of alcohol-free wine :D

Evening All. Just a quick Hi before bed. All ok here, had a seven hour stretch of sleep last night so I've been bouncing off the walls today. Really enjoyed the Bubacise class on Wednesday and met some lovely ladies who have an unofficial mum's group who often go out for lunch after the class, so it was worthwhile going on two counts. Hazel was the littlest one there and it was so funny watching all the bubs crawling around being cheeky as we did the class!
Melissa- that's bad news about the harness, but I agree with the others that at least you both can enjoy bathtime, small favours. I hope Olivia is feeling more settled soon, does the wonder week book say how long these phases are meant to last? (or am I being daft and it's a week- as the name would suggest?)
Kris- Hope Dylan is feeling better soon poor little chap
Danni- wow on christmas shopping! It's a very good idea though and I may have to start picking stuff up when it's on sale. Hope you're feeling better soon
Krysalyss- I completely know what you mean about them gazing at you during feeding time, it just melts me. They are becomming so much more aware of the world around them now. Baby Yoga sounds great, they used to do it at my new gym but sadly no longer
Sunbeam Koala- you must be getting so excited about your trip. I remember what it was like coming back here for visits from the Uk, but it must be wonderful to be bringing home a new family member!
Kaz- IKWYM re showers, though I do manage it most days. On the days I miss out I just think of the water I've saved and one day real soon I think I'll have accumulated enough to have a nice deep, piping hot bath! About our day- in the morning I try to get up before Hazel wakes up to get the dogs their brekkie and give them a bit of fussing and have a hot cup of tea but this isn't always possible! We do some nappy free and tummy time and I chat and sing to her. She'll spend some time in her cot chatting to her Pooh mobile while I try to get some stuff done and then it's normally time for a feed and sleep about 10am. I usually go out sometime after that either for a walk or in the car. Hazel loves being in her sling when we're out, either sleeping or wayching the world go by. When I make dinner she goes on the kitchen bench (safely of course) in her rocker and I put a cd on and sing and boogy away, she adores this! I've got a baby gym coming soon which I think she'll enjoy too andI want to get a few more musical toys as she seems to love them. It's easy to feel worried that you're not giving them enough "stimulation", I know I do, but I also figure that just talking to them and giving them lots of face time is probably good enough!
Well, that was longer than I intended for it to be and I really must go to bed now or I will br cream crackered tomorrow. Have an awesome weekend, one and all x
-
mason did well again at the baby show until he fell asleep! lol On trophy and 3 sashes. Im so proud :D It was such a long day as there were so many people so I dont think I will go again. Breastfeeding in those uncomfy chairs was awful!
Yep every year I used to do the kmart sale and layby til xmas for all the xmas presents for our neices and nephews but I got excited at toys r us instead! So i just bought them and have stashed them in the study. I also managed to get some bday pressies in there too so I really dont have anything to worry about until January! Its such a relief and money saver!
Am looking forward to hopefully having the energy to clean the house today while DH is home, and making a big fat lasagna for dinner. Tomorrow we have the professional photos,,,I cant wait!
Have a great day everyone xx
-
Hi!
Kaz - hope you enjoyed your wine!
Christy - Glad you enjoyed the class and the catch up afterwards!
Danni - Congrats on Mason doing so well...would be hard with it being such a long day with such a little bubba...
Sometimes I find when I layby/buy pressies early I end up buying way more than I should because as xmas approaches you see other toys/specials. hehehe. so I don't really save much anyway...
Enjoy your weekend and have fun with your photos...I'll see you and Mason on Thursday at Cindy's??
Well, Dylans now holding a rattle...hehe. I hadn't really tried it so the last couple of awake times I did and he's holding it for a little bit now. It's just a thin plastic one so it's easy for his little fingers to get around...he slept quite well last night which was good. He was so exhausted that he only fed one side in the middle of the night and no matter what I did could not wake him enough to take the second side...hehe...
Chat later...
-
Hi All,
Olivia slept a little better last night, at least she didnt stay awake too long between feeds and didnt cry much. She woke up very chatty this morning which was very cute.
Christy- i think the stormy period lasts anywher from a day to a week...depending on the bub. there are more changes earlier on, obviously, and the time between changes spread out as they get older. i am going to copy the chart before i take it back to thelibrary. can scan it and email it if u like.
Danni well done on the baby show and hope dinner was good.
kristie-glad u got some good sleep
got to cut this short, moo moo is calling
have a great day
melissa

Hi!
Ooh Melissa can you email me with the chart??? mkvisser at bigpond dot net dot au !!! I've been dying to have a look at it...
Glad Olivia slept ok...
Dylans been pretty good this morning. It's so cute - he fed at 6.30am this morning and I put him back down because I didn't want to get up yet and he just chats and laughs away for a while and he must eventually go to sleep because I didn't hear from him for another hour! lOL!
-
Melissa, thay would be awesome if you could email that chart! cheers x my address is christy_suzy at hotmail dot com

-
Just wrote down emails but wont be able to scan today... we have a 30th bday to go to, with an "S" theme... Adam and I are dressing up in our school uniforms and going as school kids... very kinky lol!!! Olivia is going just a herself... sweet, sleeping (hopefully) and lots of other s things!!!
Have a good one and if anyone else wants that chart just let me know:)
Melissa
-
Melissa - I would also be interested in a copy of the chart. aidt at privat dot dk thanks for offering to send it around.
Matt had his vaccinations yesterday and seemed to have recovered well. He had a spew this morning which is very unusual, so it may be a bit of a delayed reaction I guess.
We are alternating between bath one night shower with me the next with Matt. This is because we have a bit of a problem with Al being afraid of the shower and hair washing now and he was a bath boy from the start. So we hope to bypass that with Matt by getting him used to having his head under the shower regularly. Matt certainly enjoys his showers at the moment too so we'll keep it up.
Well better start packing, 2 more sleeps!
-
Deb - how do you gauge the shower temp? I'd love to take Patrick in the shower, but I've always had scorching showers. Hope Matt's feeling better.
Melissa - any chance you could also send that chart to karyn at aanet dot com dot au? Have a great time at the party!
Must say, I'm paranoid about the lights in Patrick's eyes - DF loves downlights, so that's all we have, and they have no dimmers. So its either way too bright, or dark in the house (also no natural light due to the verandahs etc)
Kris - Dylan sounds so cute, talking to his mobile!
Took the 2 dogs and Patrick for a walk today wtih DF. I ended up pushing an empty pram and DF was wearing the bub - must have looked weird! But he loves his walks (I think) apart from the indignity of beanies etc. Very interested in the world. And he's just started talking / making sounds!
2 more sleeps until mothers' group!
-
Hello everyone!
My, my we have been busy writing today! Now that I'm all caught up.....
We had a very quiet day today, Lil and I. Lily had a great sleep last night, sleeping from 8.00-2.00 then til 6.00 and then I managed to get her to sleep til 7.30 again. I was excited that she sisn't wake at 5.00 let alone sleeping again til 7, LOL!! Then she went back to bed at 10.30 stirred at 11 but I got her back to sleep, and didn't wake til 1.30, had a feed and went back to sleep til 5.00!!! And she's back in bed now, since 9.00! OMG she hasn't slept like that since she was a few weeks old. I hope she sleeps properly tonight. I didn't know what to do with myself, I had the house clean within an hour thinking she'd be awake soon, hehehe... so I made up a photo album with all of her photos and cards etc... from hospital and when we first came home. (It's amazing how she's changed in such a short time.) Then I did all of the stuff I normally don't get to do, like wipe the cupboards and clean the microwave!
Melissa, I'm glad to hear Olivia is sleeping better again. Too bad she has to be in her harness for so long. At least you can give her a bath now and have some skin to skin contact a bit. I love my cuddles with Lil when she's a nudie!
If you don't mind, I'd like a copy of the chart too. My email is kellieem at hotmail dot com. Thanks.
Kristie, it's so cute when they talk to themselves isn't it? Lily doe it when she's on her change mat. I can leave her there for ages and she natters away. She love her change mat for some strange reason!
Danii, I thought I'd have to leave Lily with mum to clean too, but after todays marathon sleeps, I got everything done, I even cleaned the glass in the shower! LOL...
Deb, glad to hear Mat's vaccinations went ok. Although she wasn't grumpy or anything, I found that Lily was a bit more spewy than usual the few days after hers too.
I'm too scared to have Lily in the shower, she's so slippery in the bath, I'm scared of dropping her in the shower. At least in the bath she'll just get dunked if I let go of her. She actually did it to her self to day, she was squirming around and turned her head too far and put it into the water...the look on her face was like 'oh, s**t, what happened!!!'
Bet you can't wait for your hols!! Hope you have fun ;)
Kaz, the lights probably won't worry Patrick... he'll most likely get quite fascinated by them soon. Lots of babies love lights. Lily does, she's like a radar for lights!
Ok gotta go have a shower!
Happy weekend ladies!
Kellie.
-
Kellie - I am a bit nervous about holding him too, but we don't lather up with soap really just in the vital spots, so he doesn't get too slippery. It takes some courage, but I do hold him for dear life, I really wouldn't want to drop him under any circumstance. Great that Lily had such a sleepy day, hope she stays down for you tonight. Good 4 u getting all that cleaning done.
Kaz - we have a thermostat on the shower so I can keep it safe. He's been a bit off all day and is in bed now @ 6pm so I hope that he gets a good long deep sleep and wakes up his old happy self in the morning. I'm sure the lights would be fine too. If you were very concerned you could buy lower watt bulbs I suppose, but I haven't heard about lights damaging babies eyes before. LOL at walking the pram. We had a similar scenario yesterday, we were at a shopping centre and I ended up carrying Matt in the baby bjorn and Alex was on Mik's shoulders and we were pushing an empty pram. Put some shopping in it instead lol

New to group
Hello Everyone,:hello:
Completely new to all of this so please bare with me. I am a first time Mum to little Charlie, born 16 April. Hubby & I moved to a remote part of WA a few months before having the little one & that's left me with no family/friends support. Thought this may be a good way just to chat about Charlie, get some advice & support:help:
-
Hi Erin,
Could you see you here! Welcome on board!
Edit: Good to see you here! (doh!)
-
Hi ladies,
First of all, welcome Erin! You should find lots of support and people who are in similar places as you are here. My bub, Lily was born a day later than yours, on the 17th.
Well it is a cold miserable day here again today and I am feeling uninspired to do anything. Lily hasn't slept like yesterday, I was hoping she would! Although she has done better than normal, with an hour this morning and another 50mins at 11.00, and she's down again now. She's been a bit of a grump though. Bit like me I guess, LOL! She slept like she normally would last night thankfully, waking twice as usual.
All I have done all day is eat comfort food- porridge, soup and crumpets with lots of butter and honey....mmmm I feel like more now, hehehe. There's absolutely nothing on tv and I have no car to get anywhere (can't walk anywhere its drizzling), since DH is at work. And there's nothing to clean since I did all of that yesterday, I have no food to cook anything yummy, we need to go shopping... I'd love to make a yummy chocolate pudding.....hmmm chocolate....oh, hohum!!! I'm bored!!
I hope you are all having a better time than me! LOL.
Kellie.

Sleep Issues
Hi Everyone,
As I'm new to this you have probably already covered this topic. But just wanted to know how normal it is for a little baby not to sleep during the day :(
Charlie is almost 10weeks & rarely has an afternoon nap, we try everyday. Sometimes we get there, other days we give up! This may sound dumb, but I just presumed little ones slept all the time.
This leaves him very grumpy & in bed tired very early in the evening, meaning he's up very early in the morning. And when we do get him to sleep I'm afraid to move, for I fear I'll wake him up.
-
kellie: cleaning the shower!! omg you go girl!
well we got heaps done around here thank goodness. Now the tricky part is keeping it clean!
Welcome erin! My baby does not sleep during the day unless we are in the car, pram or baby carrier (hug a bub). So dont stress. Just keep trying. I thought babies slept a lot too. I was so wrong :(
Well we got the family photos done today. Not as many shots taken as we would have liked as Mason decided to scream for 80% of the time, then flaked it! :( He was very very unsettled today until we went to the rug clearance sale and put him in the HAB! everyone stared at us there hehe
Ok gtg get ready for big brother. I cant wait to tonights double eviction! :D
-
Hi Erin and welcome. congrats on the birth of Charlie. Olivia sleeps catnaps during the day and sometimes longer. most my problems are her poor sleeping at night:) but in saying that she slet almost 12 hours last night with only 2 quick feeds:)
When i notice she is tired and grumpy i just try and rock her to sleep if i have eliminated everything else...nappy, feed, play... Good luck and i hope you can get some good advice.
to all who have left email addresses i just have to get Adam to help me scan it in tonight and will send it off. Party was good, although i was a little upset when one of our friends asked if i was dressing as a school girl or a s*ut, because i walked in with our baby. grrrrrr
Anyway, take care chat soon
love melissa
-
Hi!
Had dinner out last night which went well! The boys behaved although Louis was a little grumpy today! We've put him in his big bed for his day sleep and tonight and all seems to be going well which is handy. That means hopefully in the next week or two I can put Dylan in the cot!
Today's been cruisy...I'm still really sick so we just chilled out at home. Dh gave me a sleep in which was sooo nice.
Dylans feeds are really strange at the moment. He drinks so quickly and he's having huge gaps between feeds...only about 4 through the day and 1 at some stage overnight...Hopefully he's gaining weight. I do think he'll be long and lean though so maybe he just won't gain as quickly as Louis....I mean he's still over 5 kg so growing well anyway...
Danni - Hope you got your house cleaned! I'm sure your photos were gorgeous! Ooh I'm a big brother addict as well this season! hehehe.
Melissa - Hope you had fun at your party last night!!! ...sounds like your friend was a bit harsh...You don't need that!! Hopefully Olivia keeps up the good night sleeping!
Thanks for the chart!!!
Deb - Dylan chucked the day after immunisations as well! Glad he coped well though...Sounds like fun having showers - we still have Louis in the bath...Dylan has one first and then dh just fills it up a bit more and throws Louis in!
Kaz - Dylan doesn't have a mobile! He just chats to himself...he sleeps out in the lounge at the moment cos I can't sleep with him in my room. Or he's talking to down lights - we have them to but we have a dimmer switch so we have them on low all night. The perfect amount of light to just see him and feed him...
Good on you for getting out for a walk! I'm so lazy in the cold weather..
Kel - Glad Lily slept so well for you yesterday...It's so nice when they sleep for longer than you think and you get everything done - It's also nice when you get a chance to sit down and do nothing!
I'm with you on the comfort food - went out for dinner last night and ate bread and dip, ricotta & spinach canneloni and trifle for dessert - oh and a glass of wine and a baileys!! Talk about overdoing it - was soooo good though! hehehe.
Erin - Nice to "meet" you...It certainly is good to chat with other people that are going through exactly what you are!
My first baby was like that - it can be such hard work to get them to sleep that you don't want to spoil it...Luckily I'm managing to settle Dylan a lot easier this time...they do all grow out of it though and end up having a good couple of naps before long...
Chat tomorrow!
-
Hi Erin, welcome to the group! As the others have said, all babies are so different. Have you tried putting Charlie in the pram and taking him for a walk in the afternoon? Maybe start a routine of doing it everyday and he might just dose for a 45 minute cycle. Should be enough to keep him fresh for bedtime routine.
Matt lilkes his nap about 3ish but I would love him to do it a bit later, like 4. Because of that he is in bed by 6pm these days. He can't keep his eyes open! But he has been a sleepy babe from the start.
Wanted to say thanks Melissa for the chart. There seems to be an awful lot of cloudy and unsettled days there!
-
ok guys...i didnt want to say anything yesterday but i have to now....
for the past 2 nights, Mason has slept for TEN HOURS at night!!!
After screaming a lotyesterday, he fell asleep at his 6:30pm bottle. I was so sure he wouldnt sleep through the night but I was wrong!
He slept from 6:30 to 4:30am! Then had a 10minute bottle of EBM and slept till 8am! I cant believe his tummy can cope with that lack of milk.
-
Hi!
Had a rotten night...Dylan woke heaps and I ended up bringing him into bed with me. I think he's got my cold as he sounds or snuffly the poor little monkey...
Danni - Wow - thats fantastic! Hope he continues like that for you. The most Dylan slept is 8 hours and he's only done that a couple of times!
-
i think its cos he is soooooooo overtired from not sleeping during the day!
When you bring dylan in bed with you, how do you sleep? Do you cuddle him, or just put him next to you/ I cant find a comfy way
-
I cuddle him...but I put my arm under the pillow rather than around him or I get to sore...
-
so you put his head next to yours on the same pillow? And cuddle the pillow?
I was cudding him and my arm used to be dead and i hated it. I think your idea sounds much easier on the joints!
-
Danni - Congrats!!! it's a great feeling isn't it. Charlie did it once, but think that was the panadol after his shots.
Though I can't get him to sleep during the day, I must admitt he's pretty good at night. He usually sleeps a 6-7hr stretch first up, has been doing that for a couple weeks now.
I hope Mason keeps this up for you. You must feel nice and refreshed today.
-
glad that charlie has that long stretch first up. Thats what Mason normally does...5-7 hours, feed, then another 3-4 hours then up.
He has been soooooo good this morning! He got up at 8, and has been layig here next to me in bed watching me for 2 hours :D
-
We had a horrible night too....Lily went to bed at 9.30, then was awake at 1.30, 3.30, 4.30, 5.30, then at 6.30 and won't go back to sleep. I'm sooo tired, I was falling asleep feeding her. DH is home until 12 and then has to go to work. I will try to sleep now before he goes or I won't make it!
Kel.
-
Danni - I still cradle him - so his head is on the top part of my arm but rather than curl it down around him I bend it up so it's under the pillow...
Erin - sounds like you've got a good sleeper there as well...
Kel - sorry to hear you had a rough night..makes the next day so much harder...
Well, my little monkey doesn't want to sleep today either!! Oh well...I just got some digital photos printed so I'm going through and trying to get them into albums...should really be doing housework and getting dressed but I feel sick so who cares! hehehe.
-
Danni when i put Olivia in bed with us, we pull our pillows apart so there is a big gap and put her up there, that way the doona is over us without it being over her head. Shes such a wriggle puss, I couldnt bear sleeping too close!!! I kind of spoon the area around her so she doesnt get squashed...iykwim.
Caro, good luck with the house.
kristie, hope you are better soon...good day to be in your pj's though! havent got out of mine yet!
Erin, thats great Charlie sleeps well over night.
Might go get dressed and eat.
take care

Hi everyone.
Welcome to the April group Erin. You'll find everyone really friendly and helpful!
Kris- love the new ticker pic, cuties. Hope you're feeling better.
Danni- what an awesome sleep, I can only dream.
Melissa- thanks so much for the chart! Glad you enjoyed your party, it's nice to join the human race again isn't it!
Kellie- boo to such a disrupted night. Especially after such a great day the day before. Hope the little Muffin lets you get some rest tonight.
Caro- Good news about the house, hope it all goes smoothly.
Well we had a great start to the day, good sleep up early and off to the gym. Hazel was in the creche for the first time and was good as gold, just sat in the rocker and checked out all the other kids! Then it went plummeting straight down hill, when I managed to lock both my keys, phone and most horrifyingly, Hazel in the car!! My god did my heart go. Thankfully the good folk in the doctors let me use their phone to call a locksmith who was there in ten minutes and Hazel slept through it all. My god though, imagine if it had been summer time, ten minutes could have been fatal. I feel stupid and crap and really shaken up. Not to mention the $88 I've basically thrown down the toilet. I know alls well that ends well but it was a hard lesson to learn.
Take care all x
