Hi Everybody,
Sorry for being so slack with posting but you know the old story....
Beau has been pretty unsettled and refuses to breast feed anymore so I spend half my life expressing and the other half trying to get dressed, clean the house and do washing...and in my spare time work from home too...
Glad you are all doing well and bubs are having such long sleeps for some of you! Oh bless...I have spent most of the day on the phone chasing up day care waiting lists that left me in tears...I am supposed to go back to work in August and am after 65 people on one list!
Sorry typing with one hand patting with other...
Christy sorry about your keys disaster - I flooded the laundry on DH's first day back at work at spent two hours in gumboots on my knees bailing water in tears - can we still blame baby brain?

Hi everyone,
After me wanting to know if my lm (little man) was normal not sleeping during the day, my hubby has the day off & he's an angel. Makes me a little mad!!!
He's been asleep for 3hrs!!!! Think I'll have to wake him or he won't be going to bed til late tonight. Best thing is I got to go out & get my hair cut, first time since just before lm was born...yes it's been a while & it feels fantasic. Hubby got house clean whilst I was out too :D
Thanks everyone for welcoming me to your group. It's great to chat with people that have babies around the same age, easier than asking my Mum some things - she says she can't remember much.
Christy sorry to hear about the key incident, that heart racing feeling is awful.
Melissa, sorry haven't read too far back - just wondering what the chart is all about?
Erin
-
Hey Erin, dont u hate it when bubs does exact opposite to what u been saying!!! The chart is from the wonder weeks book, which basically indicates growth spurts- emotional and physical. its a good book, i borrowed it from the library, hard to get hold of in the shops. olivia has just been through her 12 week one, she was doing fine, then all of the sudden, it was like i had a different baby, she slept poorly, she was grumpy ang clingy. After a few days she had settled again but i have noticed her changes, being she can follow me around the room more fluidly with her gaze, she is much more chatty and using vowels, shes more active shes able to entertain herself more in her cot/on the floor. the chart shows periods to expect upheaval and change. its a rough guide.
christy-i would have been beside myself!
jen-you are doing so well to keep up the expressing, well done
i have been slack and havent taken olivias harness off since friday, partly coz i feel bad about putting it back on. Adam wants to have another bath with her tomorrow so we will take it off then for 30 minutes. hes so good with her, its not funny...actually it is!!!
kristie i read your birth story for dylan, that was great. are u really thinking about number 3??? We are looking to start number 2 probably by the end of the year/early next year. I want 3 and would like them close together, about 18 months -2 years. Is it hard with that age gap???
Anyway, am feeding and typing, so best go
take care
love melissa

Hi!
Dylan was unsettled this morning but has had a big 2 hour sleep this arvo and after a bath was back to sleep! Hopefully we have a better sleep than last night!
Caro - Good luck with the house! What a big job moving house now!! I wish I was doing it though...we so need some more space!!!
Melissa - Certainly was - ended up getting in a shower though...I always feel heaps better after a shower. Yeah getting better...I've got on of those tickles in my throat though like a dry cough...grrr. I'm sure in the next couple of days I'll be 100%. That sounds like a good idea with the pillows. I cuddle Dylan cos it's usually when he's unsettled that I have him in there and he wants to be close...otherwise he'd be in his own bed - LOL!
Christy - Thanks! They look a little sleepy in the picture! I took it this morning and they were both still in their flanny pj's! hehe. Louis keep saying "hold it" when he wants to hold Dylan...LOL.
Big hugs - don't feel bad - it happens to lots of people! I can't imagine how scary it must have been though! I'm glad everything was fine...
Jen - Good to hear from you! Glad your well. Sorry to hear Beau isn't feeding well and your having trouble with day care. Wow at having 65 people on a list - thats crazy!
Erin - LOl - it's always the way! When you've got the help they behave and when you don't have it they're terrors. Yeah for your hubby cleaning the house!
Dylans well and truly found his mouth now. Most of the time he's got his fingers in there munching away. We had him in front of the tv tonight while we ate dinner and he was laughing away! So cute. He's going crazy with the rattle now! What else...oh I had him on his tummy on the couch today and he was holding his head up soo high...looked so cute!
ok enough of my ranting! Sweet dreams!
-
Melissa - I definitely want no.3!! We're only in a 2br unit which really limits us at the moment but we're hoping to have moved by the end of next year so hopefully I'll start ttc about midway through next year so hoping for not much more than a 2y gap between the next two.
I've found an 18m gap to be great. I don't have any issues but of course I haven't done it any other way. I figure you're still in baby mode so you may as well just go for it!
I found I started getting clucky when Louis was around 4 months and by 6 months it was full on. At 9 months I went off the mini-pill and fell p/g that month! Was still bf and af hadn't even returned!
Personally, I think it's hard having a newborn so really it doesn't matter how many kids you've already got it's the newborn thats hard work iykwim?? Louis is cruisy to look after compared to Dylan. All I've got to do is change his bum and get him his food but he's not half as demanding!
OK...I'm ranting...
-
lol thanks kristie... yeah i'm already clucky:)

Hi girls,
Well, after a few great days with sleeping, we're back to the cat naps. I am soo tired and it will be an early night tonight I think I got about 4hrs sleep last night. DH has said that he'll take Lily when she wakes if he's home (he'll be home at midnight from work) then told me to just bring her out....kind of defeats the purpose of not getting up to her when I have to get up to give her to him, she usually only takes half an hour to feed at night!
DH has already gotten used to ignoring her snuffles and grumbles and doesn't hear her at all at night even when we get up to feed. Oh well I guess it's better than nothing I shouldn't complain!! She's in bed now so here's hoping for a good night. I did get in a short nap before Dh went to work though I felt worse when I got up... To all of you who's bubs sleep more than 4hrs at a time, thank your lucky stars!! You're all lucky duckies
Caro, how exciting that you're getting a house! I wish we could, we're in a 2br unit too and space is quickly runnign out. We have very little storage. Good luck with moving.
Christy, lucky you , getting off to the gym. I wish I could too, but $$$ is pretty tight around here at the mo and a membership is too expensive :( How scary to lock Hazel in the car, lucky she was sleeping and not screaming that would have been soo much worse!
Jen, I hear you on the bf problems. My problem is with supply. I just can't seem to build it up to enough to feed Lily exclusively. At least she's getting some I guess, but with all of this publicity about how bad formula is at the mo I feel so bad giving it ot her, iykwim?!
What area do you live in if you don't mind me asking...I'm an early childhood teacher and in our area, there are heaps of positions for childcare, even the council centres. I will need to go back to work earlier than I'd hoped (as a childcare worker- put my bubba in childcare to look after other peoples children, all for a minimal profit for us, go figure...) and have been looking for childcare and I won't have any trouble getting a position. But I know alot of areas have a huge shortage though. Have you thought of family day care or a nanny...I'm available!! Hehehe, joking!!! ;)
Melissa, thanks for the graph, it explains alot. I think Lil is a week behind though because she's 10wks tomorrow, but is going through a stormy phase now I think.
I have been thinking about having more kids lately too...isn't it funny our bubbas are barely born and we're already thinking of doing it all again!! Maybe I should go back adn read our pg thread and remember how I felt being pg!! Or even just go back a few weeks and remember how tough that was, LOL. I would like a 2yr gap between bubs too, that means ttc mid next yr. 2 is a great age since they are getting big enough to do things for themselves, but not too old to get too used to being the only child. Our problem would be finances though, money sucks!!!
Kristie, Lily loves to suck her fingers too. It's so cute to see her try to coordinate herself to get her fist into her mouth. She's started to rub her eyes too, she scratched herself the other day, so now I have to make sure I keep her nails trimmed!
How cute that Louis says 'hold it' to cuddle Dylan, that's sweet.
Ok gotta go have a shower and go to bed.
Kellie.
-
sorry about her sleeping kellie :( Although hoping you got a great nights sleep and that your DH was able to help out.
I dunno how you guys do it living in units! We have a big 4 bedroom, 2 living areas house, and its full! Every bedroom is full of storage etc, and I couldnt downsize at all.
The downside is we got a real bargain here and if we want to move, we wouldnt be able to afford it now with me not returning back to work.
Today I have my mothers group, so looking forward to that. Mason and I lay down on these giant sized colourful pillows. They are great!
And I better not tell you how long he slept for last night..
-
Hi!
We had another rotten night...Dylans only going about 6 hours between feeds but that's usually with the dummy thrown back in a few times...He's just up pretty much every hour. aahhh. Anyway...on the bright side he's gone down super easy this morning. Just put him in his cot awake gave him a little kiss and walked away and within 30 sec his little eyes were closed!
LOL at you guys getting clucky already!
Kel - Sorry you had a rough night as well...Thats great dh will give you a break although not so good that you have to get up anyway!!
I agree - the 2nd year is fantastic! The first year is a lot of hard work for us mums! Once they're up and running though and starting to speak it makes life a lot easier. Louis is really good at talking so I don't have to guess things so much...
Danni - Have fun today! LOL at filling your 4br house - we've only ever been in units so I suppose we haven't ever filled it up like living in a house. The only bad thing is we have house furniture not unit furniture. So a big 8 seat square table and a 3 and 4 seater couch so it takes up a lot of room as well...
-
im jealous of Dylan and his dummy! If Mason is hungry the dummy WILL NOT deter him. He will suck it for 2 seconds, realise no milk comes out, and scream again!
What time are you going to Cindys on thurs?
-
Not sure - prob around 11am
Yeah but your still getting up 50 times. sometimes I think your better off just feeding them...
-
Afternoon all :D
We had mothers' group yesterday, that was interesting, talking about "tired signs" and stuff. And baby massage, mmm.
Kris - love the new Dylan photo!
Kel - sorta sux about having to get the baby to him. When Trev offers to look after Patrick, I just roll over and kick him until he gets up :D
Caro - great news on the house, good luck with it all!
Everyone else, "sleeping" vibes for bubs and you!
-
Howdy All.
Thanks for your kind words.Have pretty much stopped beating myself up about it and am thinking it is good that it happened when it did, with help nearby, nice cool day and a sleeping bubba, and I will NEVER do it again. Keys firmly in hand before locking door.
Hazel had her vaccinations this morning which wasn't too bad. She did cry but not for too long. She's a bit grizzly now and wanting constant cuddles and suckling, only to fall asleep at the breast then wake up minutes later crying. Think I will give her some baby panadol soon and curl up in bed with her. It's raining and grey here so perfect for bed snuggling.
Kellie- I'm a nanny and am thinking of going back to work as soon as Hazel is a bit less full-on, but I am hoping to find a position where I can take her with me. I don't really want to work at all, but it makes sense and we'll be so much better off financially even if I just work part time. There seems to be a big demand for in home child care in Brissy, I'm sure it would be the same in Sydney? It does seem crazy to pay for childcare while providing it for someone else! With your qualifications maybe you could find something where you can take Lily too?
Hope everyone else is really well, and bubbas are happy, smiley little people!
-
Kristie, 6 hours is good, but I guess it would be hard with 2. Olivia, slept from 11pm til 1am, then awake at 4am then again at 6 and finally at 8am. She is so tired but seems to be fighting it. I wish she would sleep through again, I know she can do it, even though its only been a few times!!!
Kel, I would be kicking DH out of bed too, you are supposed to be getting a sleep in, not if you are getting up!! Arent men funny!!!
Another day and I didnt get out of my pjs til mid day, but my mum came over and looked after Livy while I went to the supermarket:)
We are doing bath tonight, her knees are getting stinky (unfortunately all her creases get stinky in the harness if we are not careful, lol) Its terrible, just letting you know she doesnt stink and I do sponge her often, but it gets sweaty and.... anyway I think you can get my drift!!!!!
Hope you are all well. Must go and keep an eye on my mum, lol!!
Chat soon
Melissa

Kellie I know exactly what you mean with DH & taking baby to him. I have to do the same as he would sleep through anything. Makes me wonder what would happen if I ever had to leave him to look after Charlie late at night!!! I'm sure he'd wake without my help:crossfingers: Though I can't be too mad at him as he works 7day shifts, 12hr days - only helps with feeds when he's on his days off.
We had story time at the Library this morning, it's great to get out and about and sing & read to the kids. Even though Charlie usually sleeps through it, prob becuase I'm holding him the entire time. Though I'm sure he'll start to get something out of it soon.
Danni I know just what you mean with the Dummy. When we first started Charlie on it things were great. Would give it to him whilst changing him before a feed so he wouldn't scream the house down. Now as soon as he realises there's not milk, instead of spitting it out he starts crying.
-
Kristie: Ok i wont be there till about 12:30. Hope thats ok
-
Danni - I'm sure it'll be fine...
Hehe - just realised there were heaps more posts...
Kaz - thanks! Hope you enjoyed mothers group!
Christy - Poor Hazel having her needles...hope she stays ok...How good would it be if you could combine work and looking after Hazel!! Perfect!!
Melissa - It would be great if I got 6 hours! LOL! He often wakes a lot and needs resettling though so it's not that great iykwim? I'm sure he'll settle soon...although it took Louis until 9 months before he slept through! Have fun with her bath tonight!
Erin - Good on you for getting out and about...I didn't take Louis to the library until a few months ago and he just loves it!
-
Morning. Am skipping my bubacise class this morning as Mother and Baby are totally knackered after possibly THE worst night we've had since Hazel arrived! She went down ok at 7pm as usual but was then up at 10, 12, 2, 4, 6 then awake for the day at 8. Each time for at least 40 mins but sometimes an hour which equals very little sleep. tried some more panadol at 2am thinking it might knock her out, but not our Hazel! She is very grizzly and clingy today although I'm not sure that's still the after effects of the vaccinations or just complete over tiredness, maybe a bit of both. Poor little chicken.
Jen- so great to hear from you! Good luck finding child care- sounds pretty stressful. As Kellie said maybe you would be better off finding a home day care carer? Less expensive and more homely too?
Well, hope you all had better nights sleep than us! Little girl has just dozed off and I might try to get a load of washing on- it's blowing a gale here today, perfect weather for drying as my Nanna would say! x
-
Christy you poor thing, you should go get some sleep while the washing is on and bubs is asleep. Its blowing a gale here to, so am frantically washing, just hoping the airs not to cold.
I just have a quick question. Olivias left eye keeps watering and is a bit red. Is this the start of conjunctivitis? Should I just clean it with salt water and see how it goes or do I need to take her to the gp????
Hope you are all well.
Love Melissa
-
Goodmorning all,
Sounds like we've had some very unsettled bubs lately :( .
We are mostly back to normal with sleeps here, except that she didn't go down til 10.30 last night after trying since 7.30! I gave up for a while and she sat in her rocker and laughed at the tv. I had a bit of a breakdown again....I think just from being tired and thinking about my bf. I had her on the breast most of the day yesterday trying to increase my milk more, I think it worked, we have gone all morning today without a bottle....wooohoooo!!! I'm very excited. Last night she wouldn't take a bottle, shaking her head and screaming. Poor little monkey, she was so hungry, but I had so little milk for her. I ended up putting her on the bb then when she was half asleep, I slipped a bottle in her mouth.
Christy, I have thought of doing nannying, not sure how to go about getting a job though. I don't think agencies would let me take Lily with me if I got a job with one!! LOL. I'd love to do it, but never have, and have always thought I would love it. Tho I'm not too sure how to get something, other than through agencies.
I hope you and Olivia get some rest today!
Melissa, DH is usually still awake for the first feed, so he doesn't hear her cause he's in the lounge room, the next feed he gets up, but it takes him ages to hear her. I try to kick him out of bed...
Well, if it makes you feel better I didn't get out of my pj's at all yesterday, til I had a bath at about 7.30, after my mini breakdown...I just didn't see the use since I was on the lounge all day with Lily attached to me. Pj's are so much easier to feed in than clothes, hehehe!
With the eye thing I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I have heard that a drop of bm in her eye is good for it and tried it. It seemed to work for us, it went away that day.
Erin, my DH is the same. He works 12+ hr shifts but helps out when he can. He's pretty good and I'm lucky he doesn't need much sleep, unlike me!! ;)
Ok gonna try to do some washing too!!
Kellie.
-
Hey kellie
i dont have any bm to squeeze in, but i rang up the gp and made an appointment, just to be safe.bm is wonderful for so many things!!! While i am ther i wil get the doc to check out her head coz its a funny shape. we have a hard time doing tummy time with the harness, plus shes always tended to look to one side...
cheers
melissa
-
Melissa, Lil did this too! The dr told me to try to make things more interesting on the other side, eg use toys on the other side, etc... and to get her to turn her head on that side to sleep, ie on her back but with her head turned. It seems to have worked. I think i figured out why her head was a funny shape- it's the way we hold her to feed her. My DH and I both hold her on our left arm and thats the side that was funny shaped.
-
Hi!
Dylans just so unsettled overnight...he seems to be spending more time sleeping with me than in his bassinette. I didn't really want to get in in the habit but I sooo need my sleep! I gave him a dream feed last night at 9.30 and it worked quite well because he didn't feed again until 4am (but woke a lot in that time) He's been pretty good today though!!
Christy - I'm with you on the night wakings! It's so hard...I'm a bit worried because Louis did this until he was 9 months old!!! AAAGGGHHH! Hope you get a rest today!
Melissa - It's miserable in Melb today! I'm already over winter! hehe. I knew it wouldn't take long! Dylans had a bit of a weepy eye...I think it's just cos he's got the sniffles at the moment though...Hope she's ok! Re her head shape- It's called plagiocephaly (??) and it's from spending too much time in the one spot. Louis got it a bit bad before we noticed and I took him to the physio and she stretched his neck out. With Dylan I've just changed his Bassinette to face the other way because he looks out to me - just be conscious to change the way she looks all the time...It's easily corrected!!
Kel - I do that too - if bubs won't settle put them in the bouncer in front of the tv for a while...There's no point driving yourself insane!
Big hugs - you're doing an amazing job building up your milk! I know it's hard sometimes but it will all be worth it! Good for you not getting out of your pj's! If you don't have to why bother?? hehe.
-
hey guys...hope everyones bubs are happy and settled today. Thank god my sister is here atm...she is playing with Monster Mason!
Monster Mason is an angel at night and a monster by day! he slept 9 hours last night, dream feed, then 3 hours. But up ALL day :(
hope everyones well. See you tomorrow kristie
-
Hi Everyone,
Kel it's great to hear you are really trying very hard to keep you bm up. I had trouble, ended up going to the doc for some tablets only to be given the wrong ones. Got sick on them & lost my milk completely - i'm convinced Charlie's less contented on formula.
Having said that I hate to say it but with Dad home the past 3days he's been an absolute  Each nap we've put him down for he's just gone off to sleep, no protesting & last night he did a 7.5hr stretch!!!
Have just finished reading "save our sleep" & wish someone had told me about this book b4 he was born. Just realised how to get him on a proper routine so he's feeding same time each day, that's got to make going to Library, mum's group etc much easier.
Have any of you thought about trying your bubs on solids (ie. farex) earlier to see if they sleep better at night?
-
sorry, i agree with caro regarding the farex. we wont be starting solids until 6 months here either.
-
Hi!
See you tomorrow Danni - With nights like that I can't feel sorry for you through the day - LOL!!!
Erin - Don't you hate it when they're better for other people! Just remember with routines that they won't always go to plan and if bubs is screaming for a feed early then you just have to go along with what they want.
Re: solids...I started Louis at 4 months - he was showing all the signs that he was ready - he was already sitting up, could swallow b milk off a spoon and when we did give him solids swallowed them like a pro- never pushed it back out with his tongue etc...so for us it worked really well. In saying that it didn't do anything for his night sleeping as such and to begin with he was on just as much milk as before...The one thing I do find it helps with though is the routine. So you can go bf, brekky, bf, lunch, bf, dinner, bath, bf, bed, dream bf, and it seems to work really well...I know they say to wait 6 months but I think you need to understand what your baby wants...
On an extra note...Louis hasn't had any allergies or problems with eating...in fact he's a fantastic eater... but for those that have babies prone to allergies it's not meant to be a good idea at all...
Caro - Yeah on Michael turning 3 months!! Woohoo!! Thats great that he's a lot more settled. I hope that happens with Dylan because I'm about to go insane!!!
Congrats on the house!
-
morning everyone! why oh why did my son think it was time to get up at 4am??
-
Oh no Danni!
I actually had a good night!! After I was losing my mind when he wouldn't settle at about 9.45 he eventually went to sleep and stayed that way until 2.45am!! Fed well and settled back down easily...Dh popped the dummy in when he was up for work at about 5.45am and then I didn't hear from him until 7.45! Woohoo. Of course I had Louis up as well at around 4amish...
-
you should have called me kristie! haha
-
I had Lily up until 11pm last night.....but then she slept until 5.45 and then until 8.15 in bed with me! I was worried she'd think it was time to get up at 5.45 since that's about the time she normally gets up, but no....thank god!
-
Hey Girls,
I took Olivia to the gp yesterday coz both eyes were getting a bit worse and I have some ointment. Hopefully that will clear it up quick.
Can I just say I feel like a new woman. Olivia wouldnt settle all evening, grumpy, showing signs of being tired. I literally fed her alll the time. I was in bed at 11pm and I woke up at 4am and said to Adam..."have you got up to feed her coz shes been asleep for 5 hours" (knowing he hadnt coz he sleeps through!!), we heard her squirm, so I turned over and went back to sleep and she woke at 6am. Thats 7 hours OMG. I fed her and by 730am I was back in bed. Its now 1010am and shes still asleep. I woke up at 930 and I just feel great.
I hope you all had a good sleep.
Congrats caro on the house.
Better go eat:)
Love Melissa
-
Iggy has really dropped feeds now. I will be interested to see his weight today (vaccinations today - eek!). He has dropped one feed overnight so we seem to be down to just one - yay! Last night i fed him before bed at 10pm then we had a 3am feed then he was awake at 7am for plays but didnt feed until 8am.
Just came back from the coast yesterday. It was nice to be away but its always nice to be home again. Feels like Monday now so I am all out with my days.
Re: solids - I was told by the hospital that bubs cant digest solid stuff until 6 months so not to put them on it till then. I am not in a hurry to feed solids or to get him to sleep more so am not really worried. I think we try and hurry them sometimes.
Has anyone got any good plans for the weekend? I am meeting up with friends and doing some work. I have to present at a conference next week and haven't even started my presentation. Lucky DH is on holidays so he can do some Iggy stuff and give me some time.
How are all your exercise programs going? After having big plans I have only gotten on the bike once. My bum is so big now.
Well hope you are all well. :)
-
Caro I definately understand what you are saying in regards to the "farex" issue. Also agree as to it being a shame its available - just thought I'd ask & see what you guys all thought. I know several people who have started early, one in particular as bubs was still waking every 1.5hrs at night to bf.
I'm not that eager to start Charlie early as he's pretty good at night already & he's not 3months yet & he weighed just under 6kg!! Chubby little boy.
Great to hear Michael is a lot more settled,I've heard that can happen around the 3month mark. My mother's group wants to have a party when all the bubs are that age:lol: What medicine are you using for the reflux? We've been using Gaviscon in Charlie's bottle but doesn't seem to make much difference.
Well Hubby started back at work today & Charlie decided to protest his morning nap :wall: I knew he was just showing off the past 3days. Ahhhhh!!!
-
Oh we are just home from our vaccinations. Iggy cried of course and I almost did but he recovered quicker than I expected. Just having a feed now. We had him all measured up and he is a whopper! He is 65cm and 6.85kg! His head is 42cm.
How is everyone coping with the winter weather? Our house is soo cold. Hopefully this will only last a couple of weeks.
Isn't it nice for our little bubs to fall asleep in our arms! Sometimes I wish I was a little bub again.
-
melissa: yay! hopefully this is the beginning of lots of long sleeps :)
Yep erin: my baby is breastfed and sleeps for atleast 7 hours at night, feeds, then another 3 or 4 hour sleep. Normally its 9 hours but last night was 7.
Krys: what a big boy! youre obviously doing all the right things!
Mason is FINALLY out of his 0000 all in one suits. the 000s are still big but he has to wear them now! cant wait to weigh him next week. If he is still putting on 330 grams a week then he should be around 6kg!
caro: im so darn proud too. My bub has come a long way with my perserverance with this breastfeeding !!
-
Hi All.
Caro- I'm so so glad that things have turned around for you and Michael! There has been a real *spring* to your last few posts!! Yay. Congratulations on the house too, how exciting for you and your family :D
Kellie- there are lots of places where you can find jobs directly with the parents and people are definately up for having a nanny with a bubba. I put my details on one website and have already got a few replies, one that I'm pretty keen on which is looking after a one year old girl two days a week. They are very keen and have no problem with me taking Hazel along. It would probably actually be really good for both Hazel and their little girl to have a playmate. I'm not sure whether I can put the websites on here for you, Anyone?? If not let me know your email address and I will email them to you!
All you other ladies, sounds like our bubbas are beginning to "grow up" a bit and are sleeping better. Hazel has had two great nights now and has dropped a feed too so we seem to have only 2 now from 7am to 7pm YAY. I got some pics through from two friends in the UK who've just had bubbas and Hazel just seems huge and such a little girl compared to them.. I'm with you all on getting broody again!
-
Hi!
Sorry...haven't had a chance to jump on and now we're off to the PIL in the weekend. I will endeavour to catch up with you all on Sunday or Monday! Hope all is well! Have a great weekend!
-
Hi eveyone,
Charlie slept for 9hrs last night:) I got up to check on him at one stage as I was worried about him. And to make things even better after his feed he slept another 4hrs til 7am. Usually we are up & down from about 4.30am onwards putting in the dummy to get him to sleep til at least 6.30am. Hope he's that good tonight:crossfingers:
Caro I think there is definately a good change when your baby gets to the 3month mark. Charlie is almost there & we have noticed a massive change in the past week. Especially with him learing to sleep in the arvo when we put him into bed. Great to hear you feel 100% better.
As for the excercise programme, easier said than done. Living in a small town I walk everywhere so that's good for my legs. But that's about it, hard to get to Gym etc with bubs & hubby long work hours. I attempt yoga every Fri morning, it's a Mum's & Bub's session, though with all the bubs not a lot of yoga gets done:)
Can anyone help me please with any suggestions you have, I have to buy a Birthday present for a little girl who's just turned 2 & have no idea what to get. There's not a lot of shopping options up here & most of the stuff in the toy shop is aged 3+. Any ideas???????
