Well we had a horrible night last night too. Lil went to bad at 8pm, woke at 10.45, 1.30, 4.30 then 5.30 for the day....lets just say I was not a happy camper!! Then she decided to have an 1 1/4hr sleep this morning! I'd rather she sleeps at night and has cat naps in the day. Little monkey!!
Hi Guys,
Yeah Danni the farex is pretty fowl on its own - he had some pureed apple last night that he seemed to not mind....I am going to start getting more adventurous now he can swallow without gagging...
I have had more disasters around here - I made pies from scratch for tea last night and dropped my plate as I was feeding Beau at the same time....no dinner for me! Then this morning, same as you Kris, I had him on the couch changing a pooey nappy and I went to put it in the bin and wash my hands and I heard a giant thump - DH came running out of bed and Beau was screaming on the floor! Poor bubba! He can roll well now! He was on his belly so i dont think he hit his head - but we always learn the hard way hey?
Kel - sorry you had a up and down night - so did we. We are off to the gift fair at Darling Harbour this morning and now he decides to sleep! I am a bit nervous as we PT it - I will take him in his Bjorn and worse case rock him off on the bus in my arms I guess....
Ok better go wake the babe.
Have good days everyone...
oh no jen :( Poor bubba
Mason LOVED the pear & banana farex. I find I need to water it down a LOT, so that he doesnt gag. It needs to be really runny. Same with his vegies.
breakthrough alert!! Mason slept 6.5 hours straight, feed, then another 5 hours! OMG! :D
Now heres the trick! My mum gave me some "Plasmon" biscuits which are Italian biscuits designed for babies that were around when I was a baby. Mum used to dissolve them in our bottles and it would fill our tummies and let us sleep ALL night!
Well it clogs Masons bottles up so instead i dissolve it in some milk and feed it to him on a spoon mixed with a bit of farex just before his last feed. I am so excited!!
Hi!
Not much from me...a bit of a sick house at the moment...Had a quiet day at home and will be doing the same tomorrow which is nice!
Danni - They're terrors aren't they - although we had a good night last night - woke once for a dummy, up at 4am for a feed and then back down until 7am. If it was like that every night I would be laughing! Although I should say he's very unsettled until around 9.30pm... Glad you had a good night as well!
Thats great you found something that works for you - Unfortunately I don't think out issue is a hunger one but just a sleep one iykwim?? He just wakes constantly for his dummy...he's having 2 feeds a day already...
I felt like I was losing my milk for a bit there and so when I was feeding in the night I just fall asleep and let him suck for as long as he likes and I think my milk's built up again. Through the day he mostly only feeds for 5min if that but at night can stay on for like 30min just using me as a dummy! Hopefully it's done the trick.
Are you coming to Nikki's Body shop party Friday night? If so, will you bring Mason? I'm bringing Dylan because it's so far away and he'll need a feed and won't take a bottle! LOL.
Kel - bugger on having a bad night as well...I've been working on Dylan at the moment and making him have 1 1/2 for 2 day sleeps and then a 40min nap in the arvo...seems to be working ok - usually takes me about 5-10min to get him back to sleep in the middle...
Jen - Poor Beau! They're pretty tough little things though!! Hope you had a good day!
Sweet dreams!
Hey Kris, Unfortunately I wont be able to make Nikkis party. Our pop passed away on the weekend and his funeral is on friday and we need to g to yarrawonga for it.
Pretty good night twice in a row now...up at 2 for a feed and back down until 6 or 7.
I am finally booked into sleep school but maybe we wont need it? :crossfingers:
Hi!
We had an ok night with Dylan although Louis was up all the time with his cold...
Danni - bugger - would have been great to catch up. I'm sorry to hear about your pop.
Hey All, Just a quick one from me before Olivia ends up screaming the house down. We are near our 26 week storm....gggrrrr and I just started her on the farex today...lots of screwed up faces. Hope everyone is well...got to run
We had an improved night last night. We are however back to screaming the house down when it's time for bed and she will NOT feed to sleep like she was doing for a while. It only takes 20 or so mins to get her to sleep but what a horrible few minutes they are!! Then she wakes 45mins later screaming again and I have to resettle her, this time it only takes about 5-10mins though thankgoodness! Last night she woke at 12.30 for a feed then at 4.30, had a feed and went back down until 7.10, yaaaayyyy! No 5.00 wake up! I was soo happy not to be up before the birdies!
She has eaten like a pig today, so I was thinking she might be going through a growth spurt. I had her weighed and measured the other day and she is now 7.8kg and 67cm long!! She's now in the 97th percentile...I have an amazoninan baby! She's definately taking after daddy in height. She's now in size 0 clothes and I can't buy things for chrissy cause I don't know what size she'll be and I'm worried that she will be too big for them!
I gave her some pear and cerial this morning and I think she liked it, she ate more than she has before so I think I'll stick with the fruit and not plain cerial.
Danni, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather passing away. ((HUGS)) I hope everything is ok.
Melissa, I tried Lil on the plain rice cerial too and she didn't like it at all. Maybe if you mix it with some pureed apple bananapor pear Olivia might like it a bit more? Sorry to hear things aren't so good with her, we are having a bit of an unsettled period too, though I don't think its a stormy patch, maybe it's lils teeth and they might finally decide to come out of the gums sometime soon...
Ok the proncess is screaming must go, ta taa!!
Hi Guys,
Yesterday turned out to be quite an ordeal - I had Beau in the Bjorn for the gift fair (bus there so pram a nightmare) and he got extremely tired and I begged a cabbie to drive us home (no carseat) and we hid in the back! The cabbie told me when we got home that he could loose his cab liscence if he was caught and I felt terrible but you know what its like when they are screaming tired? i felt soooo baaadd...ps fair was not even good!!
My mum came over today with three huge garbage bags of my nephews old stuff for Beau and I dug out what I wanted which was nice - one toy was a tremendous hit, so much so that when he dropped it he got hysterical - which he never does really - so I wrapped and struggled to feed him now he is in bed! Is everyone elses bubbas starting to recognise their toys and crying when the fun stops?
Danni - where do you get these bikkies? Sorry about your Pop.
Kris - so you wake Dylan after 1 1/2 hrs? Is that what you did with Louis too?
Kel - Is it that Lily is too tired do you think or she doesnt want the fun to stop either? beau screams when I wrap him cause he knows what time it is - but I basically wedge his dummy in with my arm and cradle and pat him to sleep every night -which is a drain on the arms for big bubba like ours!
Ok he is stirring already - I made marinated ribs last night with chilli - I think it might be bothering him today - oh no...
xxx
jen: they are called "plasmon" biccies and you can get them from delis. Do you have any italian style delis around?
Hey back again for a quick one.... yesterday Olivia did a massive poo all over the shop....just wondering if it might me the farex, but lets see today if she does the same thing. I just gave her some plain farex and she didnt like it, so I mashed up a bit of banana and she gobbled it down and then wanted to suck on the rest of it:) Ok, I am a bit behind in this feeding stuff, so just looking for ideas. I have given her a teaspoon for breakfast after her bottle 2 days in a row... now what? She doesnt seem to have any issues with swollowing. I dont see the health nurse for another week...
Oh and we're at count down time again...6 more sleeps til the specialist. I always get excited around this time, am hoping to be harness free but I wont put any money on it (sorry about the pessimism ?sp).
Any advice on the feeding would be great.
Am organising my wedding for next year....so busy busy!
Hope you are all well
Love Melissa
Hi!
My little Louis is soo sick...threw up his brekky this morning...off to the dr's today! Dylans going well other than being super unsettled at bedtime...
Melissa - The fruit in the rice cereal works wonders! hehe. Dylan has at least 1/2 c of brekky now and probably a couple of tbsp for dinner. You can just keep increasing the amount every so often...she'll soon let you know if she doesn't want any more. I basically keep giving him food until he's had enough - he just won't open his mouth anymore. They get used to food very quickly so it's important to keep increasing it and to then introduce a 2nd solid feed. Dylan is very excited for his brekky now and if I'm late with it he lets me know about it! hehehe.
How exciting organising your wedding!! Oooh I hope the specialist visit goes well!
Kel - Dylans a bit like that at night... he doesn't scream but he's very unsettled and we have to go in about 5-6 times at least - before he actually goes to sleep properly. That ususally lasts between 7pm-9pm ish...Wow - what a big girl! I don't know what Dylan is...prob about 6.5kg I think....
Jen - Sorry to hear you had an ordinary time at the fair...Ummm Dylan loves his toys - I don't think he cares if he loses a particular one but just likes to have one with him at all times iykwim? Just gets cranky when he drops them all...
Nup - I don't wake Dylan - thats just when he wakes again...Like this morning I put him down at 9am - then at 9.40am he woke up crying so I just went in and popped the dummy in and gave him a little pat and a kiss and he's dozed back off so now he'll prob wake around 10.30am and then I'll get him up. Thats an improvement - to begin with he just wouldn't go back to sleep after 40min, then I could get him back if I rocked him and walked around the house - and now most times I can just go in and put the dummy in...sometimes he needs a burp though... The good thing is sometimes he will just sleep the 1 1/2 straight!!! I love that - I can't believe how much you can get done when they actually have a good sleep. Yep - I did the same thing with Louis although he was really hard to get to sleep anytime...we always had to rock him to sleep so it took a lot of training to get him to put himself to sleep...he would got to sleep on his own for daytime naps at around 6-7 months old whereas Dylan can do it now! Woohoo!
Chat later!
Only quick for me, I'm tidying up b4 mothers' group comes tomorrow.
Kris - tired bi-carb last night, your way worked so much better than the way they suggested in "kid wrangling". So he looks a heap better. Thanks!
Excellent Kaz!
Quiet day for us...Louis is feeling a bit better which is good. Dylans a bit grizzly...
Hope you're all well!
HI Guys,
well I am posting under the humid climes of the vaporiser! Its baaccckk! Poor bubs was so congested at about 3 this morning I ended up sleeping with him in the chair in his nusery till Dh got up at 6:30 - he wouldnt settle anywhere else poor chick - he is super grissly today and I feel a bit of a train wreck after sleeping in a chair but its nice to be home with him as I worked yesterday and always miss him to bits.
Did I miss something about the bi -carb? Is that a cradle cap trick? I have been using the Avene (?) stuff from the chemist which is only ok, he still has it.
Mel - good on her for getting the swallowing down pat! Beau still struggles but its cute to watch
Dan - we have deli near us - I will check them out
Kris - sorry Louis is sick - hope it doesnt get passed around you all...I have been thinking more and more about the self settling and the dummy cause I feel I am forever popping it in now at night - I have started reading the chapter in baby love about taking away all the settling techniques and letting them cry and self settle for a week. Has anybody read this too? Do you plan on trying it?
Ok better go and do some domestic duties...groan.
Hi all,
We have had an ok few nights, though last night she woke 4 times twice for a feed. She's also been taking an extra bottle some days, so I'm wondering if she is having another growth spurt? She's been soo fussy on the breast though and I think she's realised that the bottle is easier for her than suckling :( . She will only suck for 3 or so mins on each side before getting really fussy. The only feed she doesn't fuss is the first one in the morning. I give up trying to figure her out...
I have decided to keep up with the food now, she still has no idea how to eat it. but the only way she'll learn is if we keep trying...
Today I was sunning her on the carpet with no nappy on and guess what she did?...Yep she poo'd everywhere. Lucky I thought to put two towels under her bum and that she stayed on them! I bent down to blow a raspberry on her tummy and she fluffed and as I was saying to her 'Oooh you stink, dont poo on the floor....I look down and she's pooing!!
Melissa, good luck with the specialist, I hope the harness comes off this time. As for the feeding thing, I'm still tring to get Lil to actually eat the food I put in her mouth.
Have fun with your wedding preparations!
Kristie, so sorry to hear Louis has been so sick, hopefully everyone else stays well. I can't believe that Dylan is eating 1/2 a cup of food! Lily won't even eat a whole tablespoon yet.
Yep she's a big girl for sure, my back will tell anyone who asks!
Jen, sorry to hear Beau's sick again, I hope he gets better soon.
Ok must go bring in the washing...yay!
Hi!
It's quiet in here! We had a quiet weekend - Dh worked both days and Louis is still sick so it was nice to just spend some time at home...
Jen - bugger Beau is sick...Dylan woke up this morning and was so blocked I put saline nose drops in and 2 big clumps of green snot game out - no wonder he could hardly breath!!!
Yep - rub bi-carb on his head while he's in the bath to get rid of cradle cap - got rid of Dylans in a few days. You don't leave it on or anything - just rub it on and rinse it straight off...
I understand the getting up all night putting dummy's in!! I can't do much about it with the boys sharing a room though...Louis got over it around 9 months old when he could start putting his own dummy back in. Dylan can put his dummy in but I've started wrapping him up tight again as he also can take it out of his mouth to play with it...LOl. They say no to do any control crying before 6 months but they do it at sleep school...
Kel - Dylan cracks it if he's hungry and my let down takes a while to kick in. As soon as I have let down he's happy to drink away - it's like he gets frustrated that he's not getting enough milk at the time...Maybe thats whats happening??
LOl on the poo! Lucky you had nappies down!!
I know - he eats heaps!!
Got to go and get ready for bed - I'm buggered! Chat later!
Hi All,
Beau still sick and I just finished a marathon 4hr grumble session - he has been down for 2 hrs now so hopefully he wakes up more him self!! He was very happy to try some pureed pear and farex last night - he is not so impressed with banana...(and it makes his poo look like spinach! He has started growling too - like doing a poo noise but all the time! Its pretty funny...
Hey Kris - I tried the saline drops but his snot (TMI) is pretty clear so they didnt do much - I am using demazin and panadol occassionally too. I stopped using his vaporizer cause I think its keeping his cold 'wet' IYKWIM? ok - if at 9 months he can put his dummy back in I will chill out!
Kel - god I sympathise with you - thats the reason Beau ended up on the bottle and I am still expressing - he would fight it too after a few minutes - there was always milk there but - i thought maybe the flow was too fast? I dont know - are you expressing when she wont feed? i know you worked so hard to get your supply up in the first place. try not to let it stress you out too much ((hugs))
I am going to go to my mums next week and am thinking about weaning off pumping while I am there - I havent told DH - he wants me to do EBM till Beau is 6months - but he doesnt have to do it 5 times a day hey?
Ok I think he is getting restless and I can hear farty bum!! I am not posting until some more of you guys drop in - I look like a larry looser LOL
xx
Enjoy the sunshine hopefully!
Hi!
Don't know if I already wrote or not but Dylans finally blowing raspberries - it's the cutest thing ever! hehe. I really can't remember Louis doing it at all...or at least not until he was a lot older.
Well, I'm getting sick now as well...I feel like crap...All I want to do is curl up and have a sleep but thats not going to happen.
Jen - LOl at the growling! Hope he gets better soon. Aaah yeah the drops won't help if it's just running out anyway...I think it just helps clear a blocked nose...
I think you've done an amazing job expressing this long!!! What a lot of extra hard work!
It has been pretty quiet in here..
Hello strangers, it feels like forever since I've been on here. We have been so flat out. Sorry haven't got time to read & remember what everyone has written, have the inlaws staying this week. They haven't seen Charlie for 5months & wow has he been spoilt...they bought a Swing for him & managed to jam it in their luggage, classic....we are so excited as we couldn't buy him one up here.
Not sure who mentioned about the taxi, but I find that amazing. When we went to Perth each time I ordered a taxi they didn't have carseats available & the lady told me it's legal for me to hold bubs on my lap!! I was shocked, so I wonder if it's different everywhere.
Are we the only one's not on solids yet?? Oh well, he's going along fine...will wait til we get back from our Holidays I think. Though might skip the rice cereal.
Hope all of those with sick bubs are feeling better.
Charlie has been sleeping much better, but we still have to wrap him tight which is very annoying. But what ever works. He's in bed by 7pm most nights, no real fuss & either wakes for feed around 4 or not at all....though some nights we are up & down re-wrapping.
Ok really got to run....hope everyone is well. Will check in later for a better catch up.
Kristie, Yay on the raspberries. Charlie did it flat out for a week & we haven't heard any since. Though at the moment foot sucking is the in thing.
wow it is quiet in here, we must all be pretty busy. Hey Kristie, gees am sorry to hear youre sick. You guys have had a bad run of it this winter. Hopefully now that the weather is picking up things will get better.
Last night was the crappiest night I have had for a while. After sleeping through for about 4 nights, Olivia woke up at 1am for a feed, thats ok, but then she started crying around 4 and she was asleep. I couldnt settle her, the she woke up and just cried for about half hour. I sat in the rocker settling her, then she got all playful and started blowing raspberries. grrr. So I put her to bed wide awake, she didnt go to sleep and became more and more unsettled. So around 530 I put her to bed with us. Finally she went to sleep around 6. So in a nut shell, I'm tired. But I will get over it:)
Ok, on my health kick...again.... although this time I am just eating really healthy and doing more exercies. I already lost 1kg. I'm more pumped in doing it coz my SIL is doing with me.
Oh and on the solids topic... I cant get Olivia to eat Farex, with or without fruit. It goes in the mouth and straight out onto the face. Can i give her anything else??????????
got to run, thanks for listening.
Melissa
Mel in the Heinz range you can get Vanilla custard in the same form as farex. Phoebe loves this for a change from the farex and you can still put fruit with it. Also Ive just started her on Vaalia baby yoghurt with friut and she loves that too but have found I need to thicken it a tad with the rice cereal
Hi!
We're all still sick...bleurgh. Off to take Dylan to the dr's today as he has conjunctivitis. Looks like its getting better with all the breast milk I keep pooring in his eyes but best to get it checked out. We're all feeling very sorry for ourselves - hehehe. It's so hard looking after the 2 kids and feeling rotten yourself...Basically had to sleep all night with Dylan as he just wasn't feeling well and wanted his mummy.
Erin - Good to hear from you - glad you're well. Yeah on the swing. Thats interesting - I can't imagine it would be legal to have a bubba on your lap no matter what state your in. Thats great bubs is still sleeping so well - I wouldn't stress about the wrapping - we're still doing it to - whatever works i say!! Hehe on the feet - Dylan loves his as well. Isn't it just a gorgeous age at the moment - I get excited because it just keeps getting better and better!
Mel - Sorry to hear you had a rotten night...Dylan was awake at 4.30am this morning and didn't want to go back to sleep - little bugger. Dh ended up putting the tv on for him until he got grizzly again...I can soo see sleep school coming our way! LOL!
Yeah at losing a kg! Fantastic. I'm not losing anything at the moment...I think because I'm so tired I'm eating to try and get more energy iykwim?
Hmmm On the solids - will she just eat plain mushed veggies or fruit?? If not, maybe she's just not ready to get started yet...some bubbas just don't get into it this early...
Tiffany - Oooh Louis loved the powder custard - is that the organic your talking about? I just picked up from the supermarket the other day - I couldn't remember when I started giving it to Louis but I used to mix it with plain jalna yoghurt and apple puree. It tasted so good - my 8yo niece and my sister used to always finish off what Louis wouldn't eat - LOL! YOu could thicken your yoghurt with the custard powder instead of rice cereal - I'm sure she'd love it! I then warm it in the microwave just to take the chill off it...always did that with yoghurt as it's too cold for them straight out of the fridge.
I must make some more veggies for Dylan though - Some zucchini and sweet potato i think are next on my list.
Hmm enough of my waffling - better go and feed the munchkins brekky! hehe.
Chat later!
Hey, thanks for the advice. Olivia likes avocado, so I am going to give that to her for breakfast this morning. see how it goes. Much better sleep last night, only up once for a feed, shame I didnt sleep well!
Take care
love Melissa
Kris- Yeah it is and yeah I have thickened it with the custard powder too. Ive just had Phoebe trying Kiwifruit yesterday and she loved it with the custard. Its good with summer coming on we are getting all the summer fruits popping up in the markets up here.
Hey Everybody -
Bubs is being a bit of a handful the last few days - i am not sure what to put it down to if anything...
he has the flu true, but he is GRUMPY! Wont play like normal - I have knocked off the solids for a while as I dont know if the fruit is upsetting him? He seems worse since having a bit of panadol and demazin the last week or so- could that have done it?
He is only happy in his baby bjorn out and about at the moment...
Is there a storm at 20 weeks? God help his nanny tomorrow!
Hi!
We've been out and about today...took Dylan to the dr's and got some drops for his eyes poor little monkey...It's a bit of a hassle getting them in though but I've learnt to trick him! hehe.
Melissa - How did the avocado go?? Dylan always gags on hit...hehe. Always the way - when they sleep we don't.
Tiffany - I know - it's so exciting. Mango's and peaches and nectarines! Yum! Louis still prefers fruit over lollies/cakes - I want to keep it that way with the boys for as long as i can! hehe.
Jen - sorry to hear Beau's grumpy...he doesn't have an ear infection or something does he?? My boys haven't had one so I'm not sure what the symptoms are but that can be a reason for extra grumpiness. Someone said there was a 19 week storm the other day so maybe he's having it a week late! LOL!
Better do some tidying up! Chat later!
Hi ladies,
Well I haven't been around for a while, I have had alot to do with uni and family stuff. DH has been working alot of nights too, so I have been on my own for a few days. He's off now for 6 days so that is really good. I can catch up on my sleep. We've been visiting friends too which is nice.
Lils taken to waking at 5am again, which really kills me, I HATE early mornings and 5am is tooooo early, in my books, 5am is still night time! She is still not fussed on eating solids, well not off a spoon or pureed anyway. She'll suck on whole pieces of fruit when I eat it but to have puree...no way Hozey (sp?!).
Ok gotta go to a strata meeting (how much fun!!) be back later.
Hi girls,
It has been so long since I have been in here. Glad to see that we are all going well except for you Kristie. I hope you all get better soon. Well Luke cut his first tooth on Sunday and than yesterday his second one cut thru. We now get a bit of a shock when he chomps down on our fingers. lol
Well better get going on a busy morning. will drop in real soon
Hey,
The avocado went much better, she didnt eat as much but at least she chewed and swallowed. We're having a crap time of it at he minute. Olivia has been grumpy, crying clingy, not sleeping...last night spent the whole night in our bed which she hasnt done for months. Could put it down to a few things...teething, a cold and shes due for her 26 week storm. Cant believe she will be six months on monday..omg. Jen i looked at my chart on the fridge and there is a storm at 17 weeks then 26. Hope he settles soon.
Well we are off to the specialist today.....will report back later.
take care
love melissa
yay iona...well done for luke! is that our first teeth around here??
Mason finally took a bottle of formula last night and he slept for an hour longer....fingers crossed he keeps this up
:hello: to everyone...hope youre all well
Hey, harness remains on for another 8 weeks. :'(
m
Hi!
Well the kids are doing really well but I'm still sick! grr. Had such a full on week though with dh working heaps so have had to have been sick and do a whole lot of extra stuff I'd normally have help with.
But - we had a much better night last night! Thank god! Dylan went to sleep - had his normal grizzles 40min later but settled straight back down then stirred around 10.30pm, stirred at 2amish and then fed at 4am! Stirred one more time until 7am!!! The best thing was though that he stayed in his cot the whole night! Woohoo!
I also got to go out and have my 1h massage last night which was bliss!
A big day with today with my sisters tbs@h party and a few odds and ends I need to do.
Oh and Dylans fully moving all around the floor of our lounge room. He just rolls around and wriggles forwards to his toys! I can't believe it! I really think he'll be crawling before I know it!
Kel - Glad you're well - but tired! Urgghh I'd die if Dylan was up at 5am! Thats tough - hope she starts to sleep in again soon - it's hard with it getting lighter in the morning earlier as well at the moment...
Iona - Wow on the teeth! Thats amazing! Glad you guys are well!
Melissa - bugger the harness needs to stay on longer...oh well - it's all for the greater good!! I know you'll be so excited to get rid of it though!
Hope Lily's settled for you a bit...it's so hard when they're like it and you don't know what it is! Glad the avocado went well!
Danni - Yeah for getting an extra hour's sleep in! You're very quiet at the moment.
K - better go...Louis has filled his nappy! hehe.
well done dylan!
Im quiet cos im really struggling atm. Mason is just so clingy, and always crying atm.
Last night I was up every hour with him. I have constant migraines and just not coping.
Off to sleep school next weekend and praying they can help us
Hi!
So sorry to hear that Danni! I'm sure sleep school will be really great for you guys!! Keep your chin up and keep trying to get as much rest as you can. I promise it won't last forever even though I know it feels like it sometimes!! Big hugs!
G'day!
Beau must be feeling better cause he is back to his old self today (at the moment) I do think it's teeth but and that might explain the snotty nose too. Arent they suposed to be linked? I have been putting Bonjela on his dummy and gums and it seems to give him some relief...
Danni - sorry you are feeling so low - its so tough when you cant put bubs down without them crying - do you think it might be Mason's teeth? Can DH take him for a few hours this weekend so you can have break?
Kris- Sorry you are feeling sick, how good is a massage? As soon as my face planted on that table I was almost asleep before she even started!
Iona - Go Luke! What a star!
Mel - Bummer on the harness - but better now than problems later - hopefully it will be off for the really hot weather fingers crossed x
Kel- That seems to be my wake up time too - every morning tho now I can settle him in my arms and jump back into bed for 1/2 to an hour with him- I know if Sunrise is on - its not TOO disgusting an hour to be up!!!
Got some of the organic vanilla stuff today and a sweet potato and an avocado - a few new taste sensations for Beau Beau!
Sorry if I forgot anyone but my computer is slow today and the posts are across two pages - so much to fit in my brain!
xxx
Danni, it might be his teeth moving which is causing him to be clingy. Luke was the same when his teeth came through especially when they cut thru the gum and the constant waking up even when he was in bed with us
thanks guys.
well this morning dh took mason out into the loungeroom and I got an extra hours sleep. But now I have a headache and feel yuck.
I cant win!
Well we've had a bugger. Phoebe has been up and down with her teeth. It almost came through and then I checked it the next day and it had gone down again:( Upside though is she has become so interactive. She has a real little giggle and has started to play with her bath turtle. She seems to have a feral hour in the afternoon where she goes nuts with her voice. Just wish her teeth would come through!!
She has gotten better with her sleep pattern (7pm-5:30 6am) and has gone to having 3 solid and 4 bottles a day. I cant believe she will be 6 months old on tuesday. Argh!
Hope everyone is feeling better.
