Happy 6 months to my little princess Olivia, the most beatiful girl in the world. I am so in love with her:) Last night she slept all night, from 1030 (when we got home) til 730 and has been happily playing in her cot while I have breaky. What a champion! We are getting weighed today then going wedding dress shopping .... so have a great day

Goodmorning ladies!
Happy month-day Olivia, hehe!! My goodness time it getting away from me....where has 6months gone? Before we know it we will be celebrating first birthdays. Beofre I know it I will be bakc at work...eeeekkkk!!!
Well I have been slogging away at my stupid assigment and I am almost finished thank goodness! I sooo can't wait until it is all over and I get my piece of paper (bachelors degree!). I'm really over it all. Lily has been an angel though and DH has looked after her uncomplainingly, though I still had to settle her, put her to sleep and feed her....all he did is play- all the fun stuff! Oh well at least I got time to do it all, well almost...
Last night Lily slept from 7.30 until 4.00 then until 7.10 WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of her! No 5am wake up! I really hope it stays this way now, I can't cope with the 5am mornings. I end up falling asleep sitting up feeding her by about 3pm. Even if it is 6.30 or so I could cope with that too, please oh pleeaase let it stay this way!
She's started rolling back and forth now. She could roll from front to back before, but now she rolls both ways. And she reaching for EVERYTHING! She loves the creams and wipes on the change table, she cant grasp them yet but that;s only a mstter of time! I willhave to find a new home for them. She also loves my hair :( I have to wear it up all the time now or she ends up tearing it out. Little monkey.
We have been persevering with the solids, but she still isn't too impressed with it. I have given her some vitabrits with formula and pears for the last few days and she has eaten that more than anything (only about 2 tsp!) so maybe she's getting more used to it? I will just keep on keeping on!
Melissa, grr at the harness staying on for longer. At least it's only 8 weeks, I hope it comes off next time. OOOhh lucky you with Olivias sleep! Good luck with your wedding plans and above all have fun, I remember when I did mine it was so much fun and so exciting!
Kristie, sorry to hear you've been sick. I hope you're feeling better now. You've had a tough few weeks with illness huh? Lucky you getting amassage. I can't wait til I can afford another one. I will have to save ;) .
Danni, sorry to hear you've had a tough time. Maybe Mason's teething? Or its a growth spurt? I hope he's settled for you now. Are you able to leave him with someone for a few hours and have time for you, go get a massage, hehehe!! Maybe that will help with the migranes?
Tiffany, I hope Pheobe has been a bit better for you. I know how it feels with disappearing teeth, we've got two that just will not pop out. I feel the tip of it one day then the next day its gone. It must hurt them so much poor little mites.
Ok gotta go my princess is calling. Hi to everyone else I missed I hope you a your bubs are well :)
-
Well Hi Everyone! We've been mia for a while. I wrote a longish post last week and yet again the darn 'puter ate it. We've been having problems with it and i",m at the library right now. Hazel is trying to do some typing too!
All good for us. Hazel is wonderful, sleeping well and a really happy little girl.
ok, she is grizzling now, so better go, anyway we are alive and well.
-
Shots day today. I know she needs them but I hate having to put her through it.
Kel - I know what you mean bout the 5am wakeups, Phoebe was doing that before she went into her current sleeping routine. Most mornings now she wakes around 6ish I think its got alot to do with steve being up and getting ready for work.
-
OOOH miss phoebe is not a happy camper! It's the worst Ive heard her scream, my poor little princess.
Quick question for you all-you dont have to answer if you dont want to tho- I had Phoebe 9 weeks early and she has always been a little behind in measurements, I was just wondering what everyone elses bubs weigh? With Phoebe it's not so much hc and length just her weight. She is 6.7kgs.
-
Lil is probably 8kgs by now. Last weigh in she was 7.7, which was about 4-5 wks ago.
-
Hi!
I haven't been on in ages - I'll try and catch up as much as I can!
I'm finally starting to feel a bit better - I haven't been that sick in ages!! The kids are well which is great!
We had Louis' 2nd B'day party last Sunday which went really well! He had a ball and blew out the candles all on his own!!
Dylans being a bit of a monkey with feeds etc. I've been tempted to give him a formula bottle at night but haven't done it yet...He's still on 5 feeds - 4 hourly through the day and then 1 overnight - usually around 3-4am in the morning. The main prob is he's waking up every 2 hours roughly though although the other night I got 4 1/4 hours straight sleep - woohoo!
Tiffany - What a great routine your in! 4 bottles and 3 solids is great for 6 months! Phoebe's weight sounds good - I don't think Dylan would be over 7kg. I get him weighed next on the 16th!
I'll be introducing Dylan to an extra solids in the next couple of weeks. I'm also excited to start expanding his menu - I'm just soo worried that he may have allergies since he's got ezcema!
Melissa - Wow! How great do you sound! What a good little girl sleeping so well! Wow! How did your wedding dress shopping go?
Kel - Yeah at Lily sleeping so well! And nearly getting your assignment done! Well done! LOL at all the mischief - Dylan's just the same! He's getting around heaps - he keeps sticking his hands in his dinner/brekky as well and grabbing everything! hehe.
We can't afford the massages - but we keep booking them in anyway! hehehe.
Christy - Glad that you could jump on! You sound really well! Thats great!
Aren't our babies getting so big?? They are just so gorgeous now - really turning into little boys and girls not just newborn babies anymore. You can get through all the grizzles and sleepless nights just knowing we have happy, healthy little bubbas!! Go and give them all a big hug (which I know you all do a million times a day anyway!) This is just my little reality check message (even though I'm the only one complaining lately with us all being sick - LOL!)
My poor friends bubba is still in the hospital having seizures - she's nearly 1 month old now and they don't know what's causing it or what the treatment will be...so so sad. I haven't caught up with them as they're not taking calls and I just can't imagine how tough this time has been for them.
On that note...Chat later!! Hopefully a few of you jump on soon!

HI everyone,
Well I finally have the pleasure of telling everyone that Lily has grown her first two teeth!!!! WOOOHOOO! She's such a clever little chicken :D It's the two bottom teeth, so not the pointy ones like I thought it would be. I knew she was teething she's had red rosy cheeks for a week or so on and off and has been drooling like a tap and chewing anything with in reach of her mouth, but I thought it was the pointy ones as they are still red and swollen. But when I looked today it was the bottom two which had popped through. I was soo excited, hehehe!
Her sleeping has been pretty atrocious, I was up at 4.30 am yesterday for the day :( and I didn't get to bed until late cause I had to finish my assignment for uni. She woke at the same time again this morning and I was NOT happy, but I got her up and brought her to bed with me (dh was at work- he won't let her in our bed for fear of squishing her...) and gave her some booby and she went back to sleep until 5.30, I gave her the other bb and she slept until 6.50. I was so excited, hehe. Hopefully now her teeth have popped out she might start to sleep better again. I don't want much, going to bed at 8ish, only one wake up at night and getting up after 6.30...that's all I ask for!! I mean in an ideal world she'd sleep through until 7.30 every morning and go to bed at 8pm but I don't think that'll happen for a while- If ever! LOL!!
Christy, it sounds like you and Hazel are going along really well. Thats great!!
Tiffany, I hope Pheobe is ok after her shots now, and I wish you all the best with her sleeping. Maybe she'll pop out some teeth soon too?
Kristie, great to hear from you! I am glad that you all feel better now, you had a bit of a rough time. Happy birthday to Louis too! And yes our bubs are getting sooo big, it's all going too fast if you ask me, LOL! Even after a grizzly sleepless night, that one 'goodmorning Mummy it's so great to see you' smile in the morning will melt my tired grumpy heart every time! I hope your friends bubba is ok, how horrible to have to see your baby go through something like that. I hope things take a turn for the best.
Ok this post has taken me about an hour to write and it's time to put my little monkey to bed.
Hello to everyone I have missed, hope we all get a great sleep tonight! NIght night...
-
Hi!
Kel - Wow on the 2 teeth! Go Lily! Hope you get some more sleep!
-
Hey All... wedding dress shopping went great, i found what I was looking for:) My sister suprised visited me from Perth, so have been busy catching up with her. Olivia got weighed and shes 7.5kgs, only popped on 385gms this month, and is 65cm. She also had her needles and cried a bit, but shes doing well.
Wow Kel on Lilys teeth, it must be a relief for them to finally come through. Hopefully she will sleep better now.
Glad you are feeling better Kristie. Happy birthday to Louis. Prayers to your friend and their baby, it must be terrible. Good luck on the food. Olivia is terrible with her breakfast, she wont eat banana, farex or avocado and is hardly touching her morning bottle. But she does enjoy her evening meal. So far we have only got to try her with potatoes, which she gobbles up and tonight she tried pumkin...yum yum. I will give her some sweet pototoe in a few days. I dont know what to do with the morning though...
Wow on Phoebe having 3 solids a day especially with her being 9 weeks early... thats great.
Well I should go... Adam is in bed, he gets up at 4am these days starts at 6am til 6pm and gets home by 7. I am a work widow at the moment!
Take care
Love Melissa

Melissa I found Lily didn't really like the things you mentioned and then tried her on some weetbix with formula and a little pureed pear to sweeten it. She loves it, it's the only thing she'll eat properly, so maybe you could give that a go?
-
Thanks Kellie, I will try that. Do you use normal weetbix or the kids weetbix?
-
Normal, I didn't know that there was a kids one?? Maybe I'll buy that one next time...
-
Hi!
Melissa - Yeah on finding a dress! Thats great your sister visited! Hmm maybe she's not too hungry at brekky! Thats great she's enjoying dinner though - I mix all my veggies together so it's not to boring a taste - last night Dylan had pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot and broccoli or mushed into 1! hehe. Don't stress too much about the kids weetbix - it's not really that different. Slightly lower salt I think and thats about it....and I think they charge more for that! LOL!
I'm thinking I might start Dylan on a bit of lunch today as well. he's loving his solids...I didnt' feed him until 4.30am this morning - woohoo - thats the longest he's gone ever (after a 7pm feed...) Although he was waking up regularly. I really should let him cry a bit longer though I think because he cried out at 4am and by the time I got in there he'd put himself back to sleep...probably found his dummy himself!
Speaking of brekky...better go!
-
HI Guys!
Back from mums - which was not so relaxing but more work than I anticipated - moving her whole house around and painting and looking after the bubba! I had to come home for a rest!
Anyway have had a quick read but will do posts later just wanted to say hi!
xxx
-
Ok so she isn't smaller than most. her Dr made it sound as if she was way behind. Pffffft!!! AND yay I (with help from steve) figured out how to resize Phoebe's photos. So everyone meet my little one :)
Kris-Good luck with Dylans and his solids. I have fun with Phoebe's now lol I love the faces she pulls with the new flavours.
Kel- OOOH we are so close, they are there, they just keep going back down but I dont think it will be long before they are through.
Mel- She has her daddy's appetite lol
Jen- Hope you get some RnR soon

Wow, Hi guys...haven't been on lately - things have been a bit out of control. PIL stayed for a week, since I don't get along with MIL (AT ALL) that was a testing time. Needless to say, DH & I have been at each other since & there have been some tears!! I'm not really enjoying it where we live at the moment & we are both starting to re-think the move?? more tears!! Ahhhh think I've just been a bit down all together so have been checking the posts but haven't really taken the time to say hello.
So HELLO everyone, hope you are all well.
Charlie was teething the past week & out of the window went his almost sleeping through. He refused to drink anything & was waking every hour - oh it was a nightmare. We were not sure if it was teeth, but then I took a little look in his mouth & can clearly see the 2 lumps & white line & can feel them. But I'm told they could still take for ever to cut through....ahhhhh more sleepless nights.
We have just started solids, was going well but now he just wants to blow raspberries each time & wont keep it down & is making a hell of a mess - so I'm tearing my hair out with that. Wow can we give them weetbix now? gosh I really need to look into this more. He hates the rice cereal & really want to find something other than jar stuff for Brekky (ATM it's brunch), only on 1 meal a day. He loves avacado, that's been a real hit. I've been told to keep away from peas as they five bad gas?? is that true??
Charlie has come leaps & bounds in the past couple weeks. Rolling all over the place, sitting up & just showing so much more interest in toys etc...it's very cute. He even rolled around in the cot the other night & was facing sideways with his feet hanging out (have posted pic) cute.
I look forward to the up dates on solids as i have no idea. Think I'll do some more reading.
Ok, got to go & have some tea - DH is on nights again, lonely, lonely!!!

Hi!
Had a great weekend - had a tBS launch yesterday and took Dylan and he was soooo good! I can't believe it! We were there all day and although he didn't sleep much he was so well behaved. He got passed around and loved all the attention as well which was cute! We had a nice day at home today as well but went out and did some shopping so the poor kids are exhausted! Will have to have a chill out day with good sleeps tomorrow! Luckily I got a sleep in this morning and had a nanna nap this arvo - Haven't had so much sleep in ages!!!
Jen - Bugger you didn't get much rest - hope you spend some time at home chilling out.
Tiffanny - She's just gorgeous!! Looks very happy and healthy!!
Erin - Sorry to hear you've been having a rough time! It's hard when everything seems to happen at once...I hope Charlie's teeth come through and your MIL buggers off! hehehe.
Just take it easy with solids - if he was super hungry I'm sure he'd eat! Thats great he likes avocado though. Hmm - I didn't start Louis on weetbix until around 7-8 months I think...
How cute that he wiggled around in his cot!! I'll have to have a look at the photo!
K - better tidy up and get organised for some sleep!
-
Hey all,
We had a super busy weekend and this morning I have cleaned the house. I am ready for a nanna nap!!!! Olivia is great, shes having 2 meals a day now, although still isnt great on breakfast. I just need to go to the shop and get some pears and apples. She loves vegies at night. All I can say is her poo stinks and it is much harder. I can now smell it wofting into our room of a morning!!!! We start swimming lessons tomorrow, which I think I am looking forward to. I realy havent been back in the water much since I was 34 weeks pregnant. I am still on my weight loss thing and have lost almost 3kgs in 2 weeks...put a little back on over the weekend!
Well, hope everyone is well. Got to go clean toilets....yuck!
Take care
Love Melissa

Hi!
Wow it's quiet in here! It's Louis' b'day today - I can't believe my little monkey is 2!!! He got a bike and some other toys and had a fun day!
Dylans well...his eczema has flared up a bit..I think it's from trying to eat everything though and knocking it iykwim? He's otherwise well though...still waking 2 hourly for his dummy but I'm not in the frame of mind to try and take it off him yet! He's feeding around 2.30am in the morning again - I really don't think it's hunger - more comfort for some really annoying reason! hehe. Oh well...can't last forever.
The cheeky boy has starting getting himself on all 4's and rocking a bit so I really think I'm going to have a crawler in the next month or so! Very scary! hehe.
Melissa - Oh my gosh - my house so needs a clean!! I got as far as cleaning the bathroom today so hopefully I'll get the rest done tomorrow! hehe. LOL - aren't solid poos nice!! hehe. It tried Louis out in nappies today to see how he'd go but he's not ready yet - bugger! I'm so looking forward to just having 1 in nappies again!
How did the swimming lessons go?
Well done on the weight loss! Thats fantastic!
-
Hey Kristie...Happy 2nd Birthday Louis. It sounds as though Dylan will be moving around on all 4's very soon. Olivia is now rolling both ways and she puts her knees under her belly and tries to move along, but shes not too strong in the upper body, so she gets all frustrated.
Got some pears and she gobbled them all down this morning. And I tried her with broccoli, but that wasnt a hit, we'll see how it goes tomorrow night!
Swimming was great fun, she was almost asleep at the end of the lesson, slept all the way home and slept for a few hours in the afternoon. Its really exhausting for them, they dont stop moving for the whole half hour. Am looking forward to next week:)
Hope everyone is well,
Love Melissa
-
Hi!
Ooh Melissa - I forgot about how tired they get - hehe! Maybe I should enrol Dylan sooner! hehe. Have you tried her on Pumpkin? My boys have always loved it - then I just mix broccoli and other veggies with it and it seems to mask the taste a bit more.
Sounds like Olivias doing well with her moving though!
-
LOL, absolutely gets them sleeping for the whole day! Olivia is starting to go to sleep earlier, albeit half and hour. Last night she slept from 8pm til 530am (yay), fed and is still sleeping at 820am.....I cant believe my luck!
I mixed the broccoli with sweet potato, I dont think I cooked the broccoli enough... was a bit too lumpy. I think its all trial and error though! Pumpkin was a hit too.
Are you still giving a bottle/boob before solids????
Well, bubs is pooing lol and blowing raspberries.
Hope you are all well
Love Melissa
-
Hi!
hellooooooo???? Where is everyone? I can't believe the thread was off the page! LOL!
All is good here! Dylan went from 7pm-4.45am without a feed last night - woohoo - the longest ever - although he still woke for his dummy about 50 times!!! hehe.
I'm busy getting Christmas catalogues out to everyone! I'm so excited - Doing the body shop at home is sooo much fun -heaps better than I expected!!
Melissa - Wow - what a sleep in! Dylan's normally up at 7am every morning! LOL at the hard broccoli - I just put it all in together and let it boil away for ages...I don't put much water in though so that I don't have to drain all the goodness away iykwim?
Yep - I think you give milk first until about 9 months old if I remember right...but I give the solids about an hour or so after the milk so there's room!
Chat later!

HI girls,
well I have been going through our old belly and baby buddies threads and making up a kind of journal for Lily when she grows up. And also for me to remember...ahhh all this reminiscing is making me clucky, hehehe!! DH would die if he knew I wanted another bub already ;). I think it would be great to have something like this for when I had Lily and knew about the hard times my mum went through when she had me. I think it would be so reassuring that you are doing the right thing.
Lily had a good night sleep too. She slept from 7-1, up for a feed then slept til 5 when I gave her her dummy and slept til 7...wooohooo!!!! I'm happy with any day we're not up at 5am :)
She's driving me insane with her rolling. She learnt to roll fram back to tummy a few weeks ago, but can't figure out how to get from tummy to back so gets stuck and frustrated when she an't get back! Grrrr I don't know how many times a day I utrn her over! I'm trying to teach her how to do it herself, but she just doesn't get it...
We're going great guns with the solids now. She loves her applea and pears now, as well as weetbix. I have given her some zucchini and potato today and she was a bit unsure about it at first but ate it all anyway, hehe. I have also made and frozen some sweet potato and broccoli to try in the next week or so. She also loves her water from her sippee cp and is so cute to see her sucking from the spout, trying to coordinate her mouth to get it going, LOL!!
Kristie, I'm glad to hear things are going well for you :) . How are you doing with your body shop parties? I was thinking about them to do for a while...I don't know how I would go though I am kind of a quiet person and to stand up and talk in front of people...I don't know!
Erin, sorry to hear you had a bad MIL experience. I'm lucky in that my PIL live in Maryborough Qld...about 17hrs away from us. They hate sydney too, so aren't likely to visit anytime soon. We see them once a yr, or try to and they are lovely people, but I don't think I would like to have them in my home for 2wks! We had the waking-every-hour for a week or so too and then her two bottom teeth popped up. Thankfully it is over now and she seems to have gone back to her normal routine.
Melissa, I hear you on the S-T-I-N-K-Y poos, oh my goodness!!! I thought her poo stank before, but now it could kill a water buffalo!! I'd love to start swimming lessons, but it's a bit expensive for us at the moment. I will do it next yr when I go back to work. My mum has a pool too so I can do it myself a bit this yr when it gets hotter. Lucky you with Olivias sleeps, we're always up before 7am.
Ok my monkey is stuck on her belly in her cot and is calling me.....

Hi!
Kel - Good idea on the little diary...I have kept p/g and baby diaries for both the boys - It has also been really good for me to read back over what I was doing with Louis at the same times also. LOL at being clucky again - I was super clucky by now after having Louis (prob why I only have an 18m gap between my 2 - LOL!) I'm not super clucky now but I can see over the next few months as he keeps getting more interactive I will. we already have a lot more fun together now that he's getting a bit bigger which is nice. I just really can't believe how quickly the time's gone!!
LOL on the rolling! She'll get it soon I'm sure. Yeah on the food and the good sleep as well!
The Body shop parties are going really really well! It's such a good time of year to jump on board with xmas around the corner. I was a bit nervous about getting up in front of everyone but it's really not that bad - the products really do sell themselves! PM me if you want any more info!
Had a few tearies tonight...Found out dh's cousin's waters have broken and she's only 28w so we're hoping that everything is ok and also I don't know if you remember me saying about my friend but I'm going to visit them in hospital on Monday - her little bubbas been diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy and is having lots of seizures still (around 100 a day)...
It's just so unfair sometimes - I just want to be able to make them all better and I can't...
Give those bubbas a big hug and a kiss!!! We're so very lucky to have them so healthy!

Hellooo!!
Optus probs thus no internet!!
How is everybody? It has been quiet so it was pretty quick to catch up!
I am buggered - DH has been in Melbourne for two weeks and i am sympathising with all you girls that have DH's on night shifts....on Wednesday night a terrace in my street was on fire and between Beau and that I got three hours sleep then had to work doing a window on a massive ladder the next day! Bless single mothers of the world!
We sound pretty sinilar to everbody else, hard stinky poos alright Mel!
Beau is on about half a heinz jar (IYKWIM) sometimes I cook his solids, sometimes I dont! He has it three times a day He loves veggies and pear and apple most, i have been getting the organic stuff, he wont stomach anything too sweet just yet tho. Do you think thats too much? He would eat the lot if I let him - he just keeps opening his little bird mouth!
Kel - I cant beleive how clucky you are! So funny, good idea on going back through our threads. Hey has anyone heard from Gigi or Disgirl?
Kris - I am thinking about doing the dummy wean....Dylan and Beau sound similar with the nightly pop ins and I am OVER IT!! I know what you are saying about the right frame of mind tho. Good you are enjoying yr job! Thats terrible about yr DHS cousin - makes me thankful for the beautiful healthy bub asleep next to me ((hugs)) to her.
Erin - you sound really low you poor thing - I hear you on the MIL deal - sometimes you think short visits would be better right? Than living far away and having yearly sporadic ones concentrated!! At least you guys are getting some debts cleared right?
Ok I want to go and get dressed and get over to the shop for some more toys...bubs is SO bored with his current selection...all he wants are remote controls and mobiles now!! Men!
xxxx

Morning All,
Not too a glorious day today in Melbourne, but I am enjoying listening to the sound of heavy rain drops on the roof.
I had another beautiful sleep last night...not rubbing it in or anything, just one dummy episode at 1am, she slept from 830 til 630...yay yay yay:) Things are going well here, so not alot to report. I love the idea of a diary, although am not too good at working out how to go back on all my threads and keeping them. Adam and I did a video starting when I was in labour, telling Olivia what happened during the pregnancy, her name etc. We got her first cries and Adam cutting the cord, her weigh in and bath. Then we have some footage of her each month. We want to give it to her on her 21st.
kristie, best wishes to your cousin, hope everything goes well. My friend had her twins at 30 weeks, they were obviously in hospital for a long time, but they are great now at 19 months. Medicine is amazing these days. I know its easy for me to say... but my thoughts are there for your cousin and your friends baby with epilespy.
Talking of being clucky, I did a pregnancy test yesterday, have been nauseous lately.... not pregnant, but wouldnt be too upset if i was. I am going of the pill in December, so we'll see how that goes...oh only 2 months away!!!!! Just dont want to be too pregnant for our wedding in April!!!lol
Well, better go, Olivia is being very vocal:)
Take care
Love Melissa

Morning Ladies,
OMG at you all getting clucky-what are you all drinking lol
We have had a bugger of a few days. These storms we are getting are really frightening the hell outta Phoebe so Ive not slept much in the last few days. My mum, bless her, is taking Phoebe for her first sleepover tonight so I can get some rest.
Its really starting to warm up too. I love now being able to put Phoebe in just a singlet and shorts and show off her chubby wubby legs and arms, so cute!!
Kris- hope your DH cousins bub stays put for a bit longer. They can do wonders with the bubs born early these days. My sis's little one was born at 26 wks and has had her hiccups but is still going strong and putting on weight. She was 669grams at birth and is now over 2.2kgs
-
Hi!
Jen - You poor thing you must be exhausted!!! Doesn't sound like too much food...Dylan probably eats the equivalent of 2 jars for brekky and dinner! hehehe. I've cut out his lunch though as he just didn't want any milk!
I've decided we'll let things go for a while...it's not really fair on Louis to do the cc thing...He grew out of it all about 9 months so I'm sure I'll cope until then!! hehe.
Have fun shopping!
Melissa - It is nice to have some rain - we still so desperately need it! Wow - your video sounds fantastic! Thanks for the well wishes.
How exciting doing a test! I wonder who will be the first p/g again?? Prob you by the sounds - hehe. Just remember - I went off the pill when Louis was 9 m and got p/g that month - so you may very well be p/g for your wedding! hehe
Tiffanny - LOL! How exciting phoebe having her first sleepover! Ooh I hope you sleep really well!!
Don't the kids just look so cute in not much!! hehe. I can't wait for it either! I love the little rolly legs!
Wow at your sisters little baby!! It really is amazing what they can do - thanks!
Not much from me...just chilling out at home and doing a bit of work...Boys are well!

Kris it is truely amazing. When I was pg with Phoebe I was admitted at 28 wks for my bp. They managed to control it for a further 3 weeks until my kidneys started to go haywire and hence I was induced. In the mean time though I had been given 4 steroid shots to help her lungs along. It truly made a difference to Phoebe once she was born as she needed no assisstance breathing also having a natural birth at 31 weeks helped push the fluid from her lungs. SHe spent a total of 5 weeks in hospital. Compare that to my sister who had her DS at 30 weeks, he was on CPAP and had problems breathing and spent 8 weeks in hospital and now with her DD she has been in for 9 weeks or so now and no where near ready to come home.
-
Wow! I know they've been giving her the steroid injections so sounds like it will make a big difference!! Right now no news is good news because it means bub is still in tum!
-
Hi all, again I've been a bit busy...still not liking it up here much anymore, but we will push through a bit longer. We have pd of our 2 c/c & almost DH car - so we are doing this for a reason I suppose.
Wow on you guys getting clucky...as for me NO THANKS, LOL. Just enjoying the new things Charlie does each day & taking it one step at a time. Also need to get myself back into shape before I fall pregnant again, so could be a while (I've been eating way too much chocolate, I do that when I'm feeling down).
Charlie's 2 bottom teeth have cut through, one yesterday & the other today, wow I can't believe it. That explains the horrible sleepless week we had just recently. The poor bubs prob would have been fine with some teething gel, but we were away & not near a chemist & I didn't realise he was teething...poor bubs. He's only up to solids twice a day, arvo & night. And bugger me since that he has slept all through the night & not just a once off, the past 4nights in a row. YIPEEEEEEEEEEE!! & also only up between 7-8am. Charlie had his needles today & didn't even cry, I was most impressed. I just bought a walker for Charlie & am very peeved, as they sent the wrong one & now am being told the one I wanted is not in stock, arrrrrgh!
Kellie - Charlie does the same thing with his rolling & it gets extremely frustrating at times. That's why I've bought the walker/rocker. He seems to like being up right & banging toys, he gets too frustrated left on the ground now.
Hope eveyone else is well, got to go & finish the mega loads of washing I haven't done in forever.

Oh my god Mel!
I havn't filled my prescription FOR the pill yet - let alone going OFF it!! You are hilarious!
Thats so great with Olivia's sleeping - and the fact she is doing that with the dummy might see me put off my plans to get rid of it...I am so over the pop ins!
-
Look at my pic of Dylan - he's so nearly crawling - getting up there and moving backwards all around the room (well until he hits a couch!) I can't believe it!
Erin - Wow on the toothy pegs - Thats great! Bugger that your not enjoying where you're living - sounds like your doing really well with your money though! I've decided I'm not doing any shopping until December - I'm going to try really hard to stick to it! hehe. It's going to be tough though!

HI girlies,
How are you all??
We are well. We have had a pretty quiet at home day. Lily is an angel....she's such a good bubba. We has an ok sleep. I say ok cause we woke at 1 for a feed then waking every hour from 3.30. I gave her a feed at 5.30 she went back to sleep with me and slept til 8.00!!! I couldn't believe it when we woke up...she was very restless though. Then she had two really good day sleeps as well as a 40min nap. What an angel, though I could do with out the hrly wake ups. ;)
Kristie, sorry to hear about your cousin's bub, but since you haven't said anything more, I assume things are ok for now? And about your friends baby, at least now they know what's wrong and can hopefully treat it. It must be soo hard for them. I can't believe Dylans almost crawling, Lil is still trying to figure out rolling from tum to back, though she does get up on her knees with her bum in the air...very cute!
Jen that sucks that your DH has been away. And yes...night shift are a PITA, big time. How scary with the fire too, I always get a bit jumpy when DH isn't home, but I'm only like that now Lily is here, I used to love time alone without him.
About the food, when you think about it, half a jar would probably only be two or three tbsp. That's about how much Lily has in one sitting. But she's only on one solids feed a day.
Yes I'm getting clucky again, but shhhh don't tell my hubby...No I wouldn't have another one yet anyway, I still want to have Lily all to myself. She is still the light of my life. I'll give it a year or so yet...
Mel, I hear you on not minding if you were pg. I don't think I would mind so much either, but I'd rather not to yet. I still have to go back to work so we can have another baby!!
Tiffany, lucky you having a baby free night. My DH has been nagging me to leave Lily at mums, but I just can't yet for some reason. I don't think Id sleep anyway cause I couldn't hear her next to me (her cot is in our room, right next to my side of the bed). I think for me, it'd have to be baby free until bed time, then I'll have her back!! Sleepless nights and all, LOL!
Erin, sorry to hear youre having a tough time. I hope you're feeling ok now. I can't imagine being so far from family and close friends. It must be difficult for you with no support and your DH working long days.
How brave of Charlie not crying, macho little man!! I'm not looking forward to Lil's next week :(
Lil was the same with her teeth. Both of hers popped out at the same time and then all of a sudden the devil baby I'd had for the past week was my little angel again! I'm thinking she might be getting some more teeth after last night's performance. That was how it started before and progressively got worse til one night Igot maybe three hours of sleep. Then her teeth popped up.
Ok gonna go after this epic...
Hello to everyone else who I have missed. I hope you and your bubbas are going well :D

Hi!
Well, I had a bit of a better night - he slept from 7pm with a couple of wake ups then dummy at 11, nearly 3am, then feed at 5.20!! Wow!! Thats the longest he's gone ever! But it's kind of mucked our day up as he wasn't hungry when he woke up at 7am...so he's had solids and then a top up of milk so not sure what will happen for the rest of the day...I can't remember what I did with Louis when that was happening...
Kel - I'm glad Lily is going so well! Love the photo - she's gorgeous! Thanks..yeah I haven't heard anything more...
Having a fairly quiet day - I'm off to do a party this afternoon for a friend so that 'll be fun! Then tomorrow we're off to Melb zoo for our Oct baby buddies birthday party! Should be lots of fun! Hopefully it doesn't rain on us!
Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Hi All,
Oh the joy of being baby free for a night. I loved my sleep in even though I still woke up around 6am but was good to just stay in bed.
I had to have a giggle at my mum when I called her to see how bub went over night. She had been up since around 4 am coz someone woke up very playful and playing with her Pa kept her occupied for quite a while apparently. She(my mum) now knows the meaning of having a nana nap in the arvy :cryinglaugh:
I missed her though, especially in the arvy coz once she was gone I just didnt know what to do with myself. Steve came home late that night too and found me pacing in the kitchen lol I was hoping for a romantic night with him but he had his dinner and went straight to bed
Erin- Yay on Charlie's teeth. I cant wait for the toothy grin.
Kris- What a clever little man Dylan is. Hehe there's no stopping him now.
Kel- It was hard to see her go and I missed her like crazy, I was itching all night to ring my folks just to see if she was OK. They only live across the road- mum thinks its kinda sad lol It was a test run also coz in a couple of weeks I have to have my wisdoms out and she will be looking after bub as Steve cant get time off. So I bit the bullet and let her outta my sight for the night.

Hi!
What a gorgeous day in Melb today! I'm buggered - we've been at the zoo all day. Louis loved it though and Dylan was really good considering he's been in the car/pram all day!
Tiffanny - Yeah - so glad you enjoyed your time - I can totally relate to not knowing what to do with yourself and pacing the floor - I've done that before! hehe. Even if I don't have 1 bubba now I feel a bit lost! hehe. Bugger at having to have your wisdom teeth out!
