BW yes, tried half the amount and it was too thin, never mind. How much Zantac is BJ on?
Beatrix so sorry to hear about things with your DH, hope you are managing ok. Oh and that would have been terribly scary with Anika putting the 5c piece into MJ's mouth, you are so right about needing eyes in the back of your head.
Kat post wherever you feel happier, just please pop in here every so often, would love to hear about how Molly is doing.
Taurusa 'Fess little noses' is great for babies when they are all stuffed up, they don't like it very much though.
MummyMeg that's great that Isabelle has dropped her midnight feed, it always helps when you can get just a extra couple of hours sleep.
We went to Dr this morning as my poor boy was screaming in pain with every feed, you could tell he wanted his bottle, as he would be trying to suck but screaming at the same time so we got some Zantac, she only prescribed 1ml per day but so far it has made a big difference and he didn't even take the whole 1ml (spat most of it out) since the Zantac at 12.30, he has had 3 bottles 110ml, 140ml and 110ml and he still has to have his 10.30pm feed, once he realised that he wasn't going to get any pain while having his food he seemed to be a lot happier.
sorry for not doing more personals but there is just way too many to catch up on.
Have just added some pics to my gallery that my BF and I took this afternoon, and if I do say so myself, they are gorgeous! https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...00&ppuser=5397

Hi Sharon,
BJ is on 1ml 3 times a day...based on his weight at the time we went to the dr he could have up to one ml, he started off at 0.7ml for about a week and a half then we uped it to 1ml as he put on weight....
We are going to attempt to take him off it in a coupd of weeks as all his other problems have settled (wind, chuckies (except when he has the zantac, then the feed straight after, he chucks), and unsettledness)...will wait til after his shots though, don't want to hit him with too much at once!
Sharon with the Zantac, what we have taken to doing (because BJ ends up gulping and gasping and really worked up when he has it) is we stop feeding after a coupld of minutes and give it to him, then keep feeding, that way, he's still sucking when we put it in his mouth! He was due for it whilst we were out tonight and my boss gave it to him by slipping the dropper in while the bottle was in his mouth and squirting it in when he was drinking...worked a treat apparently!
We had our night out tonight, it was lovely, and the babysitter (my boss...well...ex boss), sent us sms's to keep us updated, and even a pic message too...made me much more relaxed....I've always done the same for him when I look after her kids too.

BW I will be seeing the paediatrician some time this week so will ask him about the dose that he is on, but I suppose if 1ml once a day works then there would be no need to increase it, unless after a growth spurt it starts to wear off. my other DS had to stay on the Zantac until he was 8 months old, even though we started him on solids at 4 months (paediatricians orders) it didn't make a difference to his reflux, and I have a feeling Oliver will be the same as he has started out just like Jordan. Will have to keep your babysitter's trick in mind for when I give Oliver his next dose.

Sharon - the photos look excellent -well done! He's so gorgeous!
We had a big day out at IKEA today and got a chest of drawers and change table top thingy... now just got to get time to put it all together!! We'll be getting their cot too, but it's not in stock until mid-june. Be really good not to have to change nappies on the single bed anymore.. :)
We had a really nice time out with the SIL & her four kids (14, 13, 11 & 7) - we haven't had that much fun for years! Now I just need DS to sleep through the night tonight and my day will be perfect!!
You may notice i've changed my signature to show my 'real' name - Toni. I use Nettie online as a psudonym (sp?) most of the time, but it feels wrong now that I know you all so well! Feel free to call me either name - they both derive from my 'proper' name of Antoinette (but no-one calls me that!).
 to everyone.

Nettie thanks re the photos, we had so much fun taking them, even though Oliver peed all over my leg, it was then that we decided that it was time to get him dressed again LOL I couldn't handle having to change Oliver anywhere but on his change table, it kills my back when I am at someone else's house. It might take me a while to remember to call you Toni as I am completely hopeless with names and find that I usually have to scroll down through posts when I am doing my personals and your sig name doesn't show when I do that.
