Bugger it who cares if you copy and paste! Good to hear you had a good sleep. thats what i should be doing now but i had this STUPID idea that if i put all my folding on my bed id have to do it before i went to sleep! Idiot! But i also have this thing where i dont like my clean clothes on the floor so i just cant go in there and throw them off. Was thinking about sleeping in the girls room butthat seems childish!
Woohoo, your my PIG! I know what you mean about fast verses slow. I get the whole oh crap im only 12 weeks im going to die, then i get the "if this baby comes when evie didn then i only have 24weeks to go" Oh crap and i cant even do my own folding LOL! How am i going to cope with another human to look after!!!!!!!
-
LOL, Milly, I do stuff like that too, put the washing in places that I HAVE to put it away or there's serious consequences, hahaha!! I put washing on Lily's bed last night and after DH bathed her, I went to get her blankie and remembered the pile of clothes on her bed to put away, thatnkfully it wasn't quite bed time yet and I got it packed away before it was time for bed!! Mind you I still have about 4 baskets full on the lounge to put away today! Did you get your packed away?
I've been thinking about how I will cope with an extra person to care for too! Especially with DH doing 6 nights shifts in a row...if he does that when bubs comes and it sleeps as badly as my other two do, I'm going to go bananas, I mean seriously batty! But that will hopefully only last a littel while and it will be over once bubs is a bit older! I hope :crossfingers:
Danielle, I see on FB you've had a big night....lol!! Sounds like you had a ball and it was just what you needed to unwind. I can't wait til I can go on a bit of a bender. It's been soooo long, seriously, about well, 4yrs with being pgbreastfeeding and pg and bfing and pg....I'm sure you get the picture! I need a drunken night out! But that won't be for a while yet, lol! Hope you're not too under the weather today!
AFM, well DH has been home for a few days so all is well, lol! He has let me sleep a few days and yesterday I had a 2 hour nanna nap! Mind you it was while the kids were sleeping too, they slept for 2 1/2hours!! They never used to sleep like that at our old place! Must be the fresh air and running around they do in the yard!
Ok thats it, hi to everyone else, I hope you're all well!
-
LOL girls, I still have 2 baskets full of clean washing to fold here in my lounge room, I just cant find any motivation to get started LOL
Yeah last night was fun, I'm feeling fine, didnt wake until 10:30!!! & that was only because XH called & woke me  I have a lunch booked today with the mums from DD's school & its at a place called Manly wine gazebo... the thought of drinking any wine today makes me feel a little off  but the food sounds yummy so it should be all good. I couldnt make it to the last one because it was on a weekend I had the kids so I cant not go today, I'm sure it will be good. I feel a bit like the odd one out there... the "single mum", oh well I can leave early if needed I guess.
DS seems to be going well after having the grommets put in last Thurs. BUT bath time so far has not been fun, he screams because he doesnt want the blue tack in his ears, but I have to do it  he also hates having the ear drops put in, its heart breaking doing it & I need to do it TWICE a day for a month (to start with) :( I know it will get better & its all for the best... it just sucks atm though.
I hope everyones well. My kids are at their dads this weekend so its very quiet & calm here
-
Danielle: Glad you had a good night out. How did the luncheon thingy go?
Kel: LOL about the washing, lucky it wasnt that much that you couldnt get it done b4 lily needed to go to sleep! I KWYM about the night out its been SEVEN years of being continously pregnant and/or BF in JULY for me. OMG i am a loser! I finished all my folding and now have more to do! I hate that job!
AFM: 12 weeks yesterday :happyforyou: Woohoo!
-
Milly Congrats on hitting the 12 week mark!!!! :leap:
My luncheon was actually really good, the food was delicious & we ended up going to the Wharf bar afterwards & having a few more drinks... I got home from "lunch" after 9pm hahahahaha It was great getting to know the other mums from DD's school, they're a lovely bunch of girls & I feel more "accepted" I suppose you could say now. :)

Thats really importanty. Grace has been at school for 18months now and i have made some great friends! The support is important and you have to make roots even if you have to move again soon! Its all part of the Mother job LOL!

Thinking of you and the family!

Hi girls,
Well, we are going ok. We are settling into our new place, it's feeling alot more like home now and I'm not so scared to be alone while DH works anymore, lol! DH is going away for 4 days for training so I am home with the kids alone which I hate. I just get worried about if anything goes wrong because we are so far away from friends and family, and DH being 8hours away from us, it's all left up to me! A bit over whelming to be sooo responsible for the kids and myself for so long. But I'm sure all will be fine.
Liam is getting big way too quickly! I'm pretty sure Liam has weaned in the past two weeks or so. He's not had a feed for about 2 days now I think. He has been slowing down with feeding for a few weeks before that and he's been feeding sporadically the last week, even his night time feeds, he's not worried about not having, if I don't offer he doesn't worry about it, so I stopped offering. I'm sad about it, though happy he did it on his own without any tears or tanty's. I'm not sure I'm making much milk now anyway. He's talking non stop and saying some funny things! He told me last night 'No I go bed!' went and got his blankie and asked for his dummy, kissed and hugged his sister and me and dragged daddy off to the bedroom! That's a first, lol! Then he slept through the night until 6am!! And so did everyone else in the house. I woke in a bit of a panick at 5.40am because I hadn't woken through the night at all! That's another first for a few years!!
LOL Milly, you're not a looser for bf'ing for so long. You should be proud of yourself. You babies are lucky little people to have such a dedicated mumma. We will have to meet up one day in s year or two after these bubbas are born and have a wild night out!!
Danielle, I'm thinking about you hun, lots of love and big hugs. I'm so sorry you're going through this all.
Hi to everyone else, I hope you're all well.

Hi every one havent been in here in ages but how is every one doing.
Belated congrats on your pregnancys Tegam and Lilias :)
Lilias I know exactly what you mean about feeling all alone and miles from any one, I felt like that when just after I had Eireann and we were staying in our friends house On the sunshine coast it was really out of the way on its own and we were miles away from family they were in Ireland and my brother was in Melbourne I used to feel so scared something would happen and no one owuld know. but it didnt and we were fine
Eireann has weaned about 7 weeks now we did it very slow it was down to one feed every second day then third then none she is getting so big and independent still have little to no hair and nearly two dam it after 3 boys I couldnt wait for slides and fancy ribbons. my day will come LOL
I have some news as well, Ive just found out Im nearly 5 weeks pregnant such a shock as we had planned Eireann as our last I was so nervous telling DH as he was adamant no more and I alwyas have room for more and if he had of taken it badly I would have been devasted but being the lovely guy he is, he is delighted and making plans all read yay! now to get through to 12 weeks with no problems is the main aim.
-
:confetti: YAY, congrats hun!!! My goodness there has been a boom in pg announcements the past week or so, lol!!! Here's to a happy and healthy pg for you :crossfingers:
-
:happyforyou: Yay another baby! Congratulations hun!
Lil: Glad to hear that you are settling in! Hows it been with DH away? WHo else is pregnant??
-
no - not pg again here LOL
OMG - girls I feel soooooo bad for not being in here for sooooo long!!! I haven't stepped into BB thread for Miss S either. :(
Things are going ok here. Miss J has been going through a MAJOR growth spurt. I just don't have enough food in the cupboard to keep her satisfied ATM. She has been great with Miss S. Lots of kisses and cuddles and tries to pick her up out of the bouncer/off the floor ;o
Still at DC 1 day a week which is great because she drives me nuts by then. She is a LO that needs CONSTANT stimulation. I can't just sit her in front of the tv. It last all of 15mins maybe then she wants to be doing something better. Makes it hard trying to feed and read books and do craft all at the same time
Starting to say HEAPS more now and words that we can actually understand which is great.
Miss S settling well. Growing so much! I can't believe shes 7 wks old today!!!!!
We;ve moved into the new house and it's GREAT! I LOVE it!!! I'm just now trying to catch up on washing as well as unpacking and keeping the girls sorted. Been challenging but hey... gotta do it.
Organised Miss S naming day and Miss J's b'day (combined). I had no problems writing Miss J's naming day ceremony - Miss S on the other hand...doing my head in!!!!!!!
Glad to see everyones pg's are going well. and Congrats to those who are pregnant that I've missed in other threads! :happyforyou:
Hope everyone is well. xxx

Hi!
So great to hear from everyone!
Niamh, yeah, feeling a bit isolated form people. DH is a cop though and in reality, we are only a few houses down from the police station and I have met the people he works with and their families, but it's still not the same as having friends and family there to help, kwim? In Sydney, our family was literally a 5min drive down the street and I also had friends really close by too. Just feeling really out of my comfort zone!
Liam has weaned too, about 2ish weeks ago now. Though he asked for boo today, but I managed to distract him from thinking about it. It's the first time I have actually refused him. He was fine, but I felt a bit guilty! But weaning was his choice. I didn't actively encourage it at all, except for today, but he hadn't had anything since about Monday. I suspect my milk supply had dwindled a bit since being pg!
Milly, things weren't too bad this time having DH away. Even though he was away for 5 days, I think I was more mentally prepared this time, kwim? Though by yesterday (when he got home) I was counting the minute til he walked in the door! I'm just not a person who copes well at the moment without his support. I think I'd be a terrible single mum! I truely don't know how single parents do it.
Re all the pg's, I was just thinking of all of the announcements on BB in the past week! There have been heaps of them!
Jen, glad to hear things seem to be settling a little bit. It's tough to go from one to two kids. I'm thinking (hoping!) that going from 2-3 will be easier. Just because the first two will have each other to be with as well as me. Plus they will be older (Lil was only 16mths old when Liam was born). It won't be the first child alone, then the second one, does that make sense?! I struggled with the time factor when I had Liam and Lily was still so little and I was bfing him every 2-3hours for months! Plus they both didn't sleep so great (they still don't!) so I was depressed as well as sleep deprived....there were some pretty ugly times there for a while for me. I don't remember alot of the first three months or so to be truthful, it's makes me really sad to admit that though. I remember sooo much of when Lily was tiny so vividly and with Liam it's all such a blur. But it couldn't be helped, that's just the way it was.
We are going great. The kids are well and love our new house. They love the space and the yard and we are into a routine now too. They like playgroup and really love having me and DH around alot more. Ok, gotta go and do the bedtime thing.
Great to hear everyone is well :) Hi to anyone I missed!

Hello girls,
Just a little :bump: to see how everyone is going!
Can you believe our babies are nearly 2??!! Not so much babies anymore huh?! Liam will be 2 in just under a week....such a bitter sweet thing these birthdays are! Liam is growing so quickly, he's such a little joker and makes me laugh out loud daily. He's lucky he's so cute or I would just be cranky with him all the itme with him getting into all the mischif he can find. Just this morning he got his foot good and stuck in the crate we put out fire wood in....I was making them breaky and all I could hear was his gorgeous little voice calling, 'OW, stuck mum....mum, foot stuck, look!' And sure enough his foot was stuck, took me a while to get it out, I was almost ready to panic and call DH! LOL, little bugger makes my life a little bit exciting!
We are going back to Sydney next week to, for Liams birthday partly, and mine which is 10 days later (eeekk, I'm getting old!) And just to visit family and friends. I have been struggling some days with the isolation and lonliness. It's getting easier though, we go to playgroup and I am making friends with other mums here too, but it's still tough for me. I'm making an effort to be happier and do stuff though. I am also putting the kids into childcare for one day so I have that day for myself, or to be with DH alone. And then when baby comes I will have a day to catch up on house work or sleep.
Ok, that's about it, I hope everyone is well! And if I miss them, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our kidlets!
-
Yay Kel! Nice :bump:
I couldnt have discribed Tom and better than you have liam....Do you think that could have been universal twins? It must be that time of the year. Tom is the light of my life. So cheeky and clever. The worlds are coming on think and fast and so are the Mr2 struggles hehe.
My Evie girl is 4 next monday too! Where does the time go! She has started kindy so i have a 2 days with Tom a week. Pity im a bit tired at the moment to be too full on but its nice. He does walk around the house calling for the girls! I think they are a little more fun than i am hehe.
Baby smidge is doing well and its the big scan next wednesday and then the world will know. Cant wait for the girls to know. How exciting!
-
LOL, twins indeed!! Little monkeys :) As you say, they are the light of our lives. He is just so different from Lily, who is more serious and sober. He is just so fun and sees the lighter side of life...liek his daddy does I guess. He's such a pleasure, even though he's such a monkey. Liam is lost without Lily too. He adore her so much, and is her little lap dog. If she demands he do something for her he will toddle off and do it! It's so cute but I hate how she can take such advantage of him and he lets her!
-
hehe the joys of being the younger child. he will survive, with a few scares!

:hello: everyone!!
Afm: well cleaned like there was no tomorrow yesterday. When we moved in March id been so sick after the ectopic, so i hadnt done much around the house and we only had 5 days to pack so it was a messy job hehe. Just threw anything and everything into boxes! DH was away and with the three kids its was ugly  . So hence when we moved in there was so much storage space i just sort of unpacked whereever i was. So stuff in kids cupboards ect. SOOOO I had done the kids rooms to get them ready to paint so the NIGHTmare room was the PLAYroom! Which you could walk into! Junk in boxes that should never have been move! SOOO One Large Council Bin FULL of broken toys, craft stuff it was GREAT! And the two large removalist boxes of good stuff to vinnies!!! All the last of the books unpacked and now the room seems HUGE! The kids had all had birthdays since moving so the junk was on overload!
I can now see that a single bed and a cot would fit in there nicely WITH all the kids toys!
However, back is now killing me :( Oh well, only want to tackle the study today, another big job but easier as i can sit!
Dont really think its nesting just think that im freaking out that there is no much on my to do list and only 11weeks til my Evie was born or my back will be gone anyway hehe! One of the down sides to such a big home!
Hope everyone is well!
