Hello Miss Milly!! I was actually thinking of you this morning! I'm glad to hear all is well for you :)
I have been having the cleaning thing on and off. Cleaning out cupboards and clothes and all that stuff, even though we've only been here for 4mths! LOL. I have been having back issues too, which isn't unusual, though it seems worse this pg. I guess I am more overweight and less fit this time! Plus with the two monkeys to chase, well I guess I'm just not able to rest alot. And like you we have a pretty huge house to look after and the kids love to trash it!
AFM, well the kids are both sick with colds after going to childcare for their first (and only) day! Hopefully they will be well enough to go tomorrow. It meant that playgroup was off the agenda today though, they're both snotty and Lily has a cough too. I've been struggling a fair bit with my hormones and moods. I have to see the GP soon, waiting for a day DH can have some time off work and come with me. Unfortunately the surgery is only open on weekdays, and DH is working weekdays at the moment. He is on light duties with an injured shoulder, so he's doing normal 9-5 hours, which is mostly great because he's not doing over time or anything and we know when his days are that he is working/off. So he's not getting shift allowence or overtime money, so we're a fair bit poorer (the only upside to shift work and being on call). And it also means we can't do alot because weekends are really quiet here, shops close at 12 pm on a Saturday here and don't re open til Monday! Plus our car is dead so we're stuck here. I'm getting pretty frustrated being here and not being able to do much. Anyway! Such is life!!
Ok gotta go the monkeys are way too quiet.....hope everyone is well.

Oh Kellie! What a nightmare. Is DH shoulder going to take long to get better? Nice to have him home every night but hard to get use to day work when you guys are so use to shift work!
I hear you on the back and the hormones! I know when im being unreasonable but i also want to be able to be unreasonable some of the time and have a little sympathy. Rather than being made to feel bad cause im not thinking of everyone else! aggggggrrrrr
Sad to hear the kids are sick. Its been such a bad season here for colds, has felt that it never ends... But :fingerscrossed: they are on the mend now too! Hope they go to Childcare tomorrow so you can be a lazy tart!
-
Tehehe, lazy tart, that's exactly what I want to be :D
-
tehhehe, thats exactly what im being today! Have showered but back lying on the bed with the laptop. Get up every now and then and feed the kids  This natural mother earth feeling comes to me so easily some days
-
Hahaha!! I can't with my kids they just get into more trouble than it's worth when I'm trying to rest. The other day Liam got intot he fire and spread ash and coals all over the loungeroom, the lounge, tv, tv cabinet, dining table....you get the drift. I then had to spend hours, in tears mind you cleaning it all up. I had to call DH home from work cause I couldn't cope, lol! The I had to rest on the lounge cause I gave my self a crampy tum and made myself sick from being so upset....aahhh, the joy of having little s***s for kids...
-
ahhh the joys. I do love it that my mother feels the need to say to me whenever i have a whine "oh i just dont remember mine ever being like this" "well im a crappy mother then!!!!!" Or i have three in 4 years and one on the way and you had one then another 4 years later!
-
Yep, my mum says the same sort of stuff. She had my brothers close though, 18mths apart, and then me almost 10yrs later! But she still says it was never so hard for her. I've stopped telling her stuff, she just makes me feel like a more useless mother than I already do....
-
well mum mothers children slept thru the night forever, never woke once!
Dear god i hope i remember how hard it is so i can support mum kids!
Not saying mum doesnt do heaps for me, its just the comments when i am already down!
Atleast we have bb to make us sane!
-
Yep, apparently we were all angels according to my mum too.
Like you, I hope I remember how tough a time I had while my kids have been little, so I can help my kids andnot upset them even more!
Would you believe just now my little devils escaped...jsut to prove what monsters they really are! I was putting on some washing and went out to check on them (they were outside) and they were escaping out the gate...luckily we are in a house which adjoins to a church next door which is all fenced in (though I think the front gate is open...). I wasn't gone for more than 3mins! I just can't leave them alone. I have now tied the gate up with some rope so they can't get out again. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they figure out how to get it off! Arrrgghhh!
-
ooops tom did that almost as soon as he could walk. We didnt know that all you had to do was push the gate and it opened out enough for him to fit thru. So the first i knew of it was the 10yr old boy neighbour knocking on my front door! how scary!
-
LOL, oops alright! At least the neighbour knew who he was! They just know how to give you a heart attack don't they? And they're only 2! Imagine when they're 12 and can REALLY think for themselves....oh man, I'm gonna end up in the loony bin!
-
or we'll drink alot!
Yes that same boy from next door use to be found on our roof too! at 9! i suppose at 12 they'll be steeling cars hehe!
