I got Af this morning and im not impressed considering I thought I wouldnt get it till closer to a year like with Shane... so ive nothing and I feel crap think I have a cold....should have know with the pains and that i was having,

My brother has left for Perth this morning so im a bit sad going to miss him lots he was great to have around, no problems helping out around the house or with the kids.. he will be awy now for at least another 7 months.

*charmalea* could she by shy hun Im noticeing Eireann went a little shy around strangers last week.. does she cath your eye, do you find her looking at you and then when she does catch your eye does she smile. If your worried may be say it to the GP and see what he says. oh Adam had ezcema before he was one he did get asthma but when he started school and it was not very bad. he hasnt needed his inhalor in months so im hoping it doesnt come back when we go home.

lilias they arrived today boo hoo on a good note it will make it easier for me to lose weight if my hormones are getting back to normal.. hate them and im still BF as well.touch wood no pain yet!!! hope the pain goes away for you..

Jorja is doing well. got her weight checked this morning as dr was concerned at last checkup. She weighs in at 7.25kg...damn..shes heavy when you hold her! LOL
We've started using MCN full time.. I LOVE IT!!! Wish someone had told me about them when I first fell pregnant.

I got AF christmas eve and have been bleeding ever since. :( and sooooo painful I can feel every bit and sooo much blood loss and i'm feeding pretty much FT.
The joys of being a woman. :) Dr given me something to try and stop bleeding.. otherwise I have to go in and have a curette cause it's so bad. I feel for all of you who have got AF now. xx

Work is going well and Jorja is loving daycare which is such a relief for me. i was so worried about it. I miss her like crazy but things have to be done.

Wedding plans are well on the way.. YAY!!! I have found a dress but the honeymoon is causing all kinds of problems because it's school holidays and EVERYWHERE we have choosen to go isbooked out!! Think we'll delay honeymoon for 2 wks until after school hols. then we can go where we really wanted to.

Lea - so glad that you found someone to help with BFing. YAY!!!

better go, I need to get some sleep.

hey lovely ladies ... i am back online and in BB ... well as long as you will all have me of course !! a long haitus i know but it was tough to keep up to date with everything with ali and all else so I was lurking just not posting for awhile ..

anyways i can manage things better now and have been meaning to sign up again for ages but of course time gets away ..

its going to take me ages to catch up so i will do my best as we go on ... but a quick update on us ..

Ali's reflux is settling down and we have good days and bad days. she is on losec every lunchtime but on 20th feb she comes off it completely for 2 weeks so not looking forward to that! The good thing is she is now on 2 solids a day so by the 20th she has to be on 3 which should reduce the symptoms and severity of reflux with no meds ... other than that she is going well and is sitting so I am proud of my baby girl - she is nearly 6 months and growing so quickly where does the time go !!!

Hope you are all going well and I will try to get updated and read as much as I can ...

Hey Melsta , wondering how you were .. well both my computers are stuffed and im at mums usuing hers .. soo outdated . but im not complianing .. I have lost heaps of business due to the ppl at the computer place ..

1st i spilled tea all over the laptop and put it in for repair/write off the PC guys said 3 days . that was 2.5 weeks ago . they flat out lied to DH's face saying they were waiting on the insurance . then yesterday DH caught them out, the guy hadnt even looked at my Laptop and just said " oh we'll just write it off .. is that what you want " grrrrrr im am soo peeved as mean while my desktop is FULL of viruses and trojans and spamware ... even though we have antivirus, it just wont let us on the net .. so i hope my inbox isnt spammed ..

im just really dirty about it all ... soo peeved


pmsl , nixon is playing with the cat and he is about to attack the hell outta him ... that'll teach him for annoying hobbit !!!

anyway glad Ali's reflux is getting better , i think you will be fine off the losec ...i am no good at giving meds to my kids , so gab never gets her losec .. but she has been OK .. not perfect but better than before .. gone from 20-30 vomits a day to hardly any .. i think she is geting bigger and she is getting better .. we'll see ..

her ezcema pains me ..but im not going to put anything on it but mineral powder .. its helped so much ..i have changed her washing detergent too ..

her and i will be seeing a nutritionist after we come back from sydney , so i cant feed her foods that dont stir up reflux and get the lowdown on low allergy foods ... she hard work this kid .. i could do anything to nixon and he'd not react . but gabbi is opposite .. so sensitve ... i have to be careful about soap ( her skin folds crack if the soap is drying) mossie bites look like sandfly bites .. one bite and it takes over a week to heal all pussy and red :(

i had a dream about AF coming back so it could be on its way .. its fact that if you dream of AF it will be coming on just around the corner .. its been true for me .. but we'll see this time ..

i cant believe the 6 mth mark is coming up .. not ready for that , i keep thinking Gab is only 3/4 months not 5 she is still so tiny and fitting in to her small clothes so both DH and i think she is still a baby :lol: Well when i say tiny i just mean petite . . you all probly got a picture of a 5mth looking like a NB lol ..

anyway .. thats all .. i hope every one has a good week end !!

Jenn .. MCN is awesome .. i have to rethink what i own as Gab , surprise surprise reacts to micro fleece .. and sadly is mostly AIO's that have it .. but luck BBH are unlined so i can use them no probs !!!

Lea - my gosh so much happening but darn the whole computer thing ... what is it with repair ppl who can lie to your face about things and then just act like that ! The reflux is better and by the time she is off it she will be having more food than milk anyway so better for her. Glad Gab's has improved too. Did you find out anything more from your GP on the eye contact?

My AF came back 1 week after stopping bf and I have already had a perfect cycle which for me is a HUGE deal as it never happened before ... it was only 3 days over a perfect 28 day cycle ... so this gives me hope for bub #2 !!

Hope everyone has had a good week and looking forward to the weekend. Going to be yet another hot one here tomorrow and DH working so we will be indoors yet again !!

hey Mel . i found her eye contact is fine , just my mum planting seeds of doubt in me .. but i was told she is bow legged a bit . one is worse than the other but her legs are the same it just looks like one is shorter beucause one leg it bowed more ..

lol i just repeated my self .. im soo tired .. i have been co sleeping and until now have be enjoying it , but for the last week she has been feeding about 6-7 times a night .. inc the several feed she has during the day i am wiped .. we have been thinking to put her in her room . but i dont know if that will fix the problem .

Hi Lea, I find that the co sleeping is something that comes and goes for different reasons. Do what feels right not what you think is right... Hope the feeding settles down and good about the eye contact. Its a game with all three of our children so far, they DO NOT give the person thats holding them eye contact....but everyone else thats around :) How did the markets go? I was looking forward to coming up but boy i had an insane and tiring day and only got home and settled a 1530.....dont ask LOL but luck i was able to duck home and feed Tom once in the day time..Why are you getting a new car?

Mel: Grace had the best day ever at school, so cute when we went to get her after her first full day we had to wake her, she was sound asleep in the middle of the floor and hadnt even woken with all the other kids running to their parents. She then took a while to wake up so we are all in the car heading home and Grace yells "take me back i want to stay at school!" LOL... She went off well again this morning and it was the first time i have had to do the get up and school thing on my own with the three kids.....

WHat else is happening girls.....

DId anyone else stay up to watch the tennis....i am so tired, thank goodness its all over i need some sleep, So glad that i can say that its due to the tennis and not the baby, he is such a good sleeper....Would still be nice if eve didnt wake 1-3times a night but she is getting so much better...one day :)

I am back! No time for personals or to catch up with posts. We had a godd time in Adelaide, though the weather was extreme, 46 degrees the first day we got there! Due to the weather we couldn't really do what we really wanted to, but had a good time anyway.
Liam is sitting and doing a catterpillar crawly thing, so cute! i start work this arvo, I'm excited, nervous and worried about leaving my little man for 4hours! I have never left him more than about an hour! And I only managed to express half a bottle.... Oh well, it's ONLY 4 hours....eek, my baby! Ok gotta go, hope every one is well!

Jenni Hows the bleeding going? I hope the medication managed to stop it!! So glad Jorja enjoys daycare, it would be awful if you had to leave her there & she was crying everytime you left her & picked her up! I'd probably postpone the honeymoon 2 weeks aswell, also because where ever you decide to go chances are if you go in the school holidays it will be swarming with kids, go out of school holidays & it wont be so busy.. JMO. How exciting organising your wedding! I remember organising mine, we're coming up to 8 years marriage in March! :o

AFM Tobias is making it clear to everyone that I'm his favourite person which of course makes me feel very special :) He just stares at me & when I make eye contact I get a massive smile or he jumps around throwing his arms in excitement & giggling. When someone else is holding him he stretches his neck to see me! It's really cute.

We're going to the Gold Coast for 2 weeks in March & I cant wait. We were going to stay at a hotel in a resort room, so the 4 of us would be in one room with no kitchen etc. I was able to convince DH to change hotels & we managed to get into a 4 star hotel in a 2 bedroom appt saving us $800 on accommodation from where we were originally booked into!!!!

Brianna starts her Jazz dance lessons tomorrow, I'll take some pics :)

sorry i cant meet up with any one in sydney unless they are will to come right in to sydney its self ... as wee are staying central , its only 500 m to china town (drool and i cant wait to eat there !!!!) and walking distance to most things .. we are going to the aquarium ( im so excited about that , im fascinated about animals !) and just doing "sydney things" , we are staying in the wyndham or sometihng ... its a 2 bedroom apt with full kitchen and a spa !!! such luxuries and i cant wait to abuse them :lol:

we leave tomorrow and the house is a mess ... nix off to kindy so i can get stuck into it when i get home ..

I brought accessorines for my phil and teds , a double sun cover and a lazy ted , i hope nix will tolerate the sun cover , im not going to let him burn while we walk around , but i think he will have other ideas , the other thinkg is a lazy ted where the toddler seat can be turned into a rocker or chair , least i will have somwhere to put gabbi..instead of on the floor the whole time !!

OH milly - it was sooo nice to meet you ! Thomas is a strapping lad .. he could knock Gabbi over with an eyelash i think :lol: .. and after we left you Gabbi didnt stope screaming until about 8 pm that night ..i will never eat fruit cake and BF again .. her reflux was soo bad yesterday :(

Lea, we're staying at the aegean, its about 2 blocks from Cavill Ave, its a 2 bedroom appt with a kitchen... we needed one with a kitchen as we're there for 2 weeks. PIL have a 1 bedroom appt next door to us, so they've said they're happy to babysit while we go out which will be nice, we'll put the kids to sleep & PIL will watch them for us a couple of nights :)

So quiet in here!!

Well, it's been a while since I posted. Time managment has never been one of my strong points! And now I'm working and studying again, it's proving difficult to keep up with it all! Must admit not much studying or house work has been going on....I'm only working 3hrs(away for about 4) but it's still thrown our little routine out the window! Plus I'm trying to make up for the time I'm away with the kids (damn mummy guilt!). Work is ok, been a bit bored to be honest, that'll teach me to take a lesser position!
Liam is good. He is sitting and catterpillar crawling everwhere, little devil! Ihave started him on solids and he LUUURRVES it! He gets so excited seeing the spoon coming at him, lol!
Kids are good, they've both had a bit of a cold, but nothing major. Lily's sleep is out the window still. She's driving us insane. I don't know what to do. It has gotten a bit worse since I've started working too, so that makes me feel even ****tier about working. It's a double edged sword...She cried so much she spewed in her bed last night. We let her cry for 2mins then go in try to resettle her, go out, and go in after 2mins...usually she goes to sleep after 2-3 times going in, if not right away, but last night she was sooo worked up. DH got her up and she was shaking and so beside herself. He let her go to sleep on the lounge with him then put her into his bed (a mattress on the floor in our room) and she woke up. She wanted me to sleep with her so I got in with her until she went to sleep and then went to bed myself with Liam at about 8.30! I'm just so over it all and it's wearing me down.
Sorry no personals today, I have stuff to do while lil sleeps before work!

Jen - yay on Jorja first tooth - which one has cut through? Just curious as it looks like Ali is cutting one of her top teeth !? Is it here to stay her tooth or still doing the dissapearing act?

Kell - wow hun you have a lot going on ... no wonder it is wearing you down ... good that Liam loves his solids and yay on the caterpillar crawling .. Ali is almost there so any tips on how to help her along !? What position do you have at work now? I truly hope Lil's sleeping settles down .. I had big problems with Ali and had a community health nurse come and do a home visit and now things are heaps better .. are you able to do that at all hun? Not sure if it is what you need but a suggestion anyway ...

Ali is sick at the moment she has this awful cough that my Dr has now swabbed to check it is not whooping cough - she is coughing in huge fits but the upside she is drinking heaps of water !! Poor little thing just listening to her cough big time so horrible ... her first real cold / cough ...

ANyways best go and tidy up the house whilst she is snoozing ...

Melsta, yep lots going on, it's hard to keep up. Yesterday I had a melt down cause I have had such little sleep in 3 days and HD has been working and unable to help. I will get used to it I guess though! I have to ;)
Is Ali crawling yet? It changes so quickly, they learn in a day! I usually put Liam's toys in front of him and slowly drag them away from him so he has to mose to get them, lol! He thinks its funny especially when I cheer him on.
I have though about my MCHN and Karitane/sleep school, but I just don't have the time to really do it, I know it sounds ridiculous, but I know what to expect at the moment with their sleeping and changing their routines at the moment is just too much for me, even if it would be for the better because the unknown is too much to cope with at the moment, kwim??
I hope Ali is ok now with her illness and that its not whooping cough :(

Jenn, yayyy on Jorja's first toothy pegs!! Liam is trying very hard to grow his and is letting everyone know about it!

Lea did you have fun in Sydney? If I had more time I would have loved to have met you. But it was not to be!

As for us , well, things are a bit tough for me at the mo. I am struggling with time to do everything. The house is in a constant state of semi messiness, I just can't catch up. But on the upside, Lily loves the occcaisional care centre she goes to once or twice a week and I like where I'm working! Yay!! Anyway have to go and get ready for work. I hope everyone is well.

Sorry i havent been in for a while...not much to say about us really!
Grace is loving school and is only sad when i wont let her go on weekends LOL, she is very tired with it all and eating like there is no tomorrow!.I cant believe how much of the day is taken up with school pick up and drop off, so annoying :) Evie is enjoying being my big girl and it is nice to get the one on one time with her. Thomas is crawling and not sitting, weird. I mean he can sit for maybe 30sec and a lot longer if i put his hands out in front of him. His crawlling is not pretty and has a way to go to get the perfect technequie but he loves moving and the girls are so excited he is a little bit more interactive now. I have started him on some solids, i dont really think he needed it, its just that he was getting so upset seeing us all eat at the table. He loves pear and sweet potatoe but didnt really enjoy the pumpkin. I have no idea what he weighs but he is SO long... guess he takes after his mum and dad LOL....He has started to wake a night again since i started solids...hoping that settles soon :)
I am thinking of doing my masters next year...yes i know busy but i seem to be going ok at the moment with the three kids and DH is away so much i may as well have my head in the books rather than watching TV at night.

Kel: glad to hear you like work and Lil likes care. It must make things so much easier. IKWYM about not having time to change things....do what you can when you can i say...

Mel: WHAT was up with Ali? i didnt read that about the whooping cough???? Hope she is better now.

Woohooooo, Liam's first tooth hs poopped through! His left front bottom tooth, and I don't think it will be long til his right one is through too! Yay! And he slept sooo well last night- almost 6hrs straight! Then it was waking every hour or so after taht but I got about 4hrs straight, so I feel great! Gosh a few years ago I would have been whining about only getting 4hrs straight sleep, now I'm in heaven, LOL! How things have changed!!!

sorry i've been so quiet here. I've been really busy with work and struggling to cope with the return of AF. The bleeding stopped for about 2 weeks and has started again! I've never in my whole like had to use a super tampon and a pad at the same time!!! i'm having hot and cold flushes and shocking headaches. TMI i know.. just needed to complain for a min. LOL
Back on all meds now so hopefully things will settle down.

Kel - glad to hear things are going well with daycare. Always makes thigns so much easier when they like it!

Danielle - Hope things went well with the donations.

Jorja is almost crawling. Shes got all the movements, just gotta put it all together now LOL

wow on all the teeth , it doesnt even look like she is , thats ok by me !!
Gab has had some solids and had top ups of formula, i did some study at the RBWH this weekend and DH looked after the kids .. i was pupming but i didnt get enough milk each feed, yesterday i noticed her ezcema flared up after eating solids over the last few days and formula , i think its the formula, the mchn did say goats or soy milk , but i had no money and not time to get any so i used a tin that my friend off loaded to me ..

its sucks how you can get samples of cows milk formula but not any others ..

Gabbi isnt crawling yet , and not on her kness but oh boy does she try :lol: it def wont be long ... once shes on her knees she'll be off ..
i do lymphatic drainage excersies on her , which coincidentally are preformed the way a baby crawls !!

she has hit the 7kg mark now and looks every inch of it , all pudge and rolls :)

and as for the state of my house ??? its a mess too and its never fully tidy to the way id like it !! so dont worry kell.

everyone does seem pretty busy , but i guess thats the way it goes when you have kids .. there are times when i just want to veg , but the list goes on !!

ii was talking to DH last night about how i percievewhat its like to look after kids all day ... i put it like this ..

its like a video game , you start off well and dodge all the nasties (kids) then it goes to a next level and the nasties come from every direction, and they get faster and faster ... until in the end if your not skilled enough , the nasties eat you for lunch and the rest of the game is over ..

ie - kids get in the way when your trying to clean the house :lol:

Lea Well done on Gabby hitting 7kg! & LOL @ the state of your house, mine has been terrible since before Tobias was born, I did clean it up on Sat as we had visitors for dinner, I did a pretty good clean up, DH & I both said that maybe we should have visitors more frequently because it gets me cleaning the house :lol:

Milly Wow you will be busy next year!!! I have been thinking of studying but I just dont know what I'll be happy doing... I was considering midwifery for a while, my GF who was going to do it with me followed through & is doing it...hmmmmmm I guess I'll have to wait until something really gets my attention :dunno:

Mel I hope Ali is better now, it sucks when they're so sick!

ASM Been having big probs with DH, had a vent about it in another thread. Starting councilling soon but things really dont look good for our future together. At this point in time it doesnt bother me thinking about the possibility of divorce... it would actually be a relief right now.....
Tobias is commando crawling & getting around really well now. I took some video yesterday when he first started & will try to get it up on FB at some stage. He is also sitting quite well now, he usually tumbles over after about 20-30 seconds but yesterday he sat un-aided for about 2 minutes!!!! I would have grabbed the video camera but it was plugged into my laptop downloading the pics/videos :rolleyes:
My twin sister is now expecting a baby. She already has 2 children, an 8 yr old boy & a 6 yr old girl... I'm very excited about her having another baby, we're incredibly close... best friends infact. They have just moved to the Gold Coast, so I get to see them while we're on the Gold Coast in 2 weeks... I cant wait, really in need of a holiday!

wow at all the teeth !!!

and gabbi is up on her knees and rocking , one leg seems to be weaker as it the one that slips out first when shes on her knees !

Gabbi usually wakes aroud 1am then has about 3 feeds till 6 am when i get up .. but for some reason , after a feed at night when i roll over or roll her over , she screams and fusses , so then i have to put her back on , it gets a little crowded with her stuck to me ... shes happy to sleep with the nipple in her mouth !! but i need my space and if i try to settle her by patting or burping so gets livid and at 3 am its the last thing i want !!

We have been ok. Liam has been unsettled on and off. He got immunised a few days ago and He has two teeth through and the top ones are trying to push through too. He is crawling like a demon (no more of that commando stuff!! LOL!) and can sit up now pretty well too. He still falls sometimes but can sit for a about three mins or so before he tumbles over. And it's kind of a controlled tumble, he doesn't just flop over, lol! He is now 8kgs! He's just getting sooo big. Everyone assumes he's over 6 1/2mths, like he's 8mths or so!! NOOOO, my baby is getting too big too fast :(. As for sleeping well, we're awake 3 times a night on average. We co sleep so I just roll over and pop my boob in his mouth, and usually go back to sleep lol! But I think that's partly why he wakes so often, cause he can smell it and know I'll just give him booby for him to settle rather than settle him any other way. He loves his booby. He's having 2 solids meals a day and loves his food too!

Us.....I have no idea how much Toms weighs...i dont think he had put on that much put he is getting longer if thats possible LOL.... We are mostly decided now that we are not going to immunise him (i know everyone has their own opinions regarding this, not saying that we are not doing to spark any debate) its just what feels right for our little family at the moment.
Thomas is crawling well but still not great. So weird to leave him in one room and find him in another.
He loves his foot OMgoodness, i worry about over feeding him but he never vomits so i guess thats a good sign.... He sleeps through 5 out of 7 nights and normally only wakes causes of one of his sisters!!!!!!!!!!!
Grace has been unwell, i think its just cause she got so over tired starting school and all.
Evie is just my little evie,,,sooooooo two LOL

We are going away soon of a wedding and then getting Thomas baptised. Easier to do it down in NSW where no one has to travel but it means almost 2 weeks away..... I always freak out that the good routeen goes out the window but i guess we'll survive....

nixon is FULL ON ... will fight sleep alllll day and then at night gets voilent and ultra tantrummy .. not fun at all .. he didnt go to bed untill 10pm last night and still hasnt slept , out of the corner of my eye i can see him throwing things at the cat , i asked him to stop or he has to got to time out to calm down ... and he told me "NO , naughty mummy"

ahh no , im not the one throwing things at the cat .. when hes like this i like to keep it boring , so hes not too over stimulated .. ..so its kinda boring here ..

my house is a mess and i cant be stuffed cleaning .. i get a nixon free day on thurs so i can start packing as we are moving on the 20 th !!!

we cant wait ... but i hate moving ... ugh all that packing and cleaning !

Gabs needs too see a Pead , she is goign on the 3rd april and its a ridiculous price of $260 !!

took her to the nurse as when ever i eat too much dairy or she has youghurt , she will vomit and her poo will burn her butt, also wakes around midnight and cries till about 5am , on and off . i have to put her on the boob , if i try to selttle her she gets livid , so the minute shes asleep on the boob or i roll over she will wake up crying agin so the cycle contiues .. i have tried everything (well everything that i can think of at 2am) to get her to sleep , off the boob but nothing has worked she just cries ..

I have to start her on losec again to see if that changes anything . also has only put on 100 since 5 months , i usually take her to the nurse when i am bored , but i was close to tears the other moring desperate to find out why she cries ... at least its a gain , but apparently not enough

shes not taking well to soilds so im holiding back un till i see the pead ... oh and her leg is still a little shorter and bowed so they want to check on that too ..

oh the stress .. but she is smiley and happy and doing things on time , so i cant complain :)


anyway Gabs is almost crawling ... shes nearly there !! no teeth yet .. not even extra drool :lol:

Hi girls,

well, we have been super busy here. I have been working one whole day a week, as well as my normal hours every other day.
Liam and Lily are really good. Liam is crawling properly now. He has been for a while, been commando crawling for months now! He can crawl up my mums stairs in her loungeroom...only 2 but it wasn't until Lil was about 10 mths that she could do it!! He's sitting and saying bubba and mumma already too. He's got two teeth and the top ones are coming any day now too. He's growing waaaaayyyyy too fast for me, especially being my last bub :( Liam is going well. He's been a bit of a grumble butt the past week or so. I think it's his teeth, as well as just his age. He's having separation anxiety sometimes with me, especially when he's tired. He won't let me out of his sight sometimes. And follows me around like a little puppy. SO cute, but annoying sometimes too! He is very attached to me and with follow me with his eyes everywhere. When he's with DH and I talk to him, he kicks him legs and gets so excited and nearly jumps out of HD's arms to get to me, lol! And when I take him, I get big slooooopppy kisses. He's such a dribbly baby! Lily never was so I never used to use bibs much but with him, they're wet after about half an hour on!
Lily has started hurting Liam, kicking and hitting him at every opportunity, but then giving him big cuggles and kisseys too. She really is too cute at times, and soooo amazingly frustrating the next minute! Everything is 'MINE!" now too. No matter what it is, if she was sitting in the chair I just sat in, it's mine, if I am drinking the same thing she was (not her drink, just the same drink) it's mine, if Liam is playing with something that she was its mine....everything is hers!! She's also becoming a daddy's girl, often preferring him over me which is kinda nice sometimes cause she's now not whinging for me so much when I am feeding Liam or when I clean or do stuff around the place.
My big girl is nearly TWO!!! I can't believe it. Only one month til she's 2, OMG!!! We will be up in Qld for her bday this yr, so we get to celebrate it with DH family. These two years have truely flown. I was just thinking last night that I was probably jsut pregnant with Liam now (now that he's almost 7mths old) that's how old Lily was when I got pg again. Eeeek!! I can't imagine how I managed!
Sleeping....don't mention it and neither will I!! They are both having their days, though there was one glorious night where I got 6hrs sleep straight! It was heavenly! Then he only woke one other time, Lily woke once and DH got up for her anyway, oh I'd give my left foot for another night like that.......well not quite, but it would be lovely to have another good night's sleep.Since then they've been either tag-teaming or one of them has a horrific night. Last night Liam was awake 4 times I think, and Lily 2. Though for some reason I'm not feeling as tired as I thought I would.
Lily is coming up with new things every day and understands so much. She surprises me sometimes with what she understands. The other day she took my breaky plate to put into the sink (yep training her well!!) and it had my burnt crust still on it. I said to her 'Put the plate in the sink and the crusts into the bin' fully expecting to find soggy crusts in the sink later, but I wathced her and she went to the sink and took the crusts off the plate, dropped it into the sink and put the crusts into the bin!!! Oh I was soooo proud!!!! I can ask her to get me anything for Liam too, nappies, clothes (even specific items!) she's just getting so clever and big!

Hi everyone, sorry I have been so terrible at staying in touch lately!!!! We are now on 2 weeks holidays on the Gold Coast so it wont be a big post this time either, just a drop in & quick update :)

I cant believe Tobias is 7 months old today! It's just gone so quickly, I know he's going to be celebrating his 1st birthday in the blink of an eye :(
He's starting to get quite clever now. He's still not crawling "properly" but he's not far off it. He can also sit himself up now from when I put him down & he's crawling around, he leans back on his bottom, twisting his top half around, then uses his arm to sit up LOL It took me by surprise but I guess I better get used to it as he's growing up.....
Still no teeth!

We've been to Movie World with my twin sister & her family (she's also 3 months preggers) & we went to Sea World yesterday with PIL. I've started writing up an itinery so we dont run out of time to do everything we want to. DH is out on a fishing charter today with FIL.

Absolutely loving all the time I spend with my kids, not as much "house work" to do while on holidays so getting to do more with them & getting heaps of cuddles!

hi all .. .i just moved house and the place is a mess and i only just got the net connected ...

well having a bit of trouble with Gabs ..

we now have a pead appt booked for next week , then a dietitcians appt , then a speech appt , then a physio appt ...


waaaahhh ... the stress of it all ...

basically i had a day stay at the local clinic , as gabs is not sleeping well between 12pm and 5am ... she will just cry ..

and her weight gain over the last 2.5 mths is only been about 400gm , she has "suspected" intolerance to wheat (rather than dairy wich we first thougt it was) , but the more she eats food , the less of a reatction she gets ...

i have started to give her finger foods (as she has trouble eating off a spoon , long tougne , its too big for her mouth lol ) and there has been much projectile vomiting inthe last 2 weeks ... its getting much better tyhought ....

and then her legs now have "clicky" hips ... i dont know why they are clicky now and now any other time ... but her leg is still shorter than the other and it "may" (scary nurse/doctor talk) need a cast ..

other than that .... she is on a top up of formula (which she is keeping down !! ) at night to help her sleep longer ( and its working)
and we are on a diet to find the reason for her reactions ..


BUT she is sitting and commando crawling , she is demanding and very chatty and even though she is teeny tiny (always gets mistaken for a 4mth old :lol:) she is happy !! i think shes just perfect and so does nixon ...

i often catch nix making gabs laugh and i just stop what im doing and listen to their giggles .. just music to my ears !!

How are we all doing, Sorry I haven't been on in a while Ive been very busy don't have much time to myself catching up with every one still .

I have a few worries over my Little devil I mean angel LoL

How is every one finding weaning< Eireann is taking to it so slowly hates it actually I dont want to force it either, she is taking bananna for me, mixed purreed fruit in small amounts actually tiny amounts, I know Im going to sound like a complete idiot but should I have her on two spoon feeds now or is one ok and a taste of other food in that day what do you think.

I dont know whats happening with night time sleeping all of a sudden she is a nightmare to get to sleep and really cross in the evening crys till she goes to sleep and we have to rock her to sleep in her buggy. then she will wake up after being asleep for about 3 hours and scream all over again :( nothing I do helps her feeding burping rocking im so furstrated. she does have a cold at the minute so i know thats not helping. she wakes at around 4 anddoes the same thing screams her head off for an hour any advice


on a good note my diet is going great and my DH was shocked when I told him how much i wanted to lose 4 stone ! but he says when ever i reach my goal what ever it is he is going to take me on a holiday for a week :dance::dance: happy days :lol:

I went and had a day stay as G is crazy in the early hours too ..

and as for weaning .. well cant help you there , G isnt even on one spoon feed a day !! she can eat with her hands and is not interested in the spoon , she will have 2 or so tastes then lose interest and just want to play with the spoon ..

she cant really eat off a spoon , its almost like hard work for her .. she has issues with her tounge ..

But TODAY is the day !! At 10am , Gabriella and I are off to the PEAD ..

I am so nervous i want to vomit !!
i thought id walse in there and have him say " oh shes fine and walk out not having to worry about her again "

but in reality i know its not the case ... another 100 gm gain .. so in between 5-7 months .. its only been 200 gms ..

I honestly , thought it was 450 gms ... but how i got it so wrong ...

went to a GP FINALLY got my PAP , about 2.5 late .but she checked over G and said , " i dont know what your nurse is on about ... its not her HIP thats clikcy but her KNEE " WTF is up with that ...

i and so lost .. but am grateful about the PEADS appt today ...

wish me luck ....

I just wish the pead could see gabby vomit or "VOMPIT" as nixon says ..then i would nt feel like im making it up...

well , im really not making it up , but when you got a happy smiley baby on your lap its hard to prove they can power chuck and vompit 20 times a day kwim ???

Pity G is nt teething though ... no drool ... nuffin .. so no teeth either .. .

and SUCCSESS or how ever you spell it ... G crawled properly for the 1st time the other day .. is not that good at it but can do it none the less .... still prefers commando crawilng !!
