Hello ladies,
Lovely to hear from you!!
Lea, Liam is a chatterbox too. As is Lily, I'm sooo glad that they have each other to natter at! They have conversations with each other and Liam just babbles back at Lily, it's so funny!
Have fun with your new fur baby! I can't wait til we can get a dog. And I adore Beagles! They are just too cute!
Tegam, my back is getting better, but I have had the week off work. DH is home for the week thank goodness and I have literally done nothing for the past few days. Though today I'm going to try to do a bit. I need to get back into it! Plus I'm just getting sooo bored!
Big hugs for you to hun. It will take time for things to settle for you.
Danielle, yay that T likes daycare! Liam loves it too, though screams when I leave, but 5mins later he's fine and has the time of his life. He only goes to occaisional care though, so nothing really regular, but generally it's once a week when I go to work and DH isn't home to look after the kids.
Yay on the date! How exciting for you. I think I would be petrified if I was dating again. I'm so not good at dates, lol! Hope you have fun!
Sunshine, lol with the shoes. Lily went through a shoe stage too, actually she's still pretty attached to certain pairs and will run around the house naked with just her favourite shoes on!
As for us, well, we are moving in the next 3mths. YAY!!!! We are going out to Cobar, which is waaayyy out west in NSW. Country. Outback. I am actually really looking forwards to it. It is with Dh work. We will only be out there for 4yrs, unless we want to stay longer. I sooo need a change from this *****hole! I hate living here. And we will have a house out there, with a yard and bedrooms for both of my kids, and DH and I might have another bub. I'm sooo excited, lol!!
Ok enough from me. Gosh I can blabber on! Hope everyone is well :)
Hello ladies, how are you all?
Happy Easter!!
Hope everyone had a great long weekend! Ours was very quiet. We just had family dinner on Sunday with my bro, SIL, neice and nephew and mum come over. I didn't get the kids much chocolate and we aren't religious at all, so no church or anything! We had a little egg hunt inside our unit, which was fun for Lil, but Li had no idea, and ran around like an excited puppy, lol! DH worked most of the weekend too, so no fun with him, plus it rained most of the time. Bit miserable really!! As well as that Lil has a UTI and has been a bit miserable on and off for the past few days. I think Liam might be getting his 2yo molars because his sleep has been disturbed again. He's waking 2ish times a night. Not happy Jan!! Plus the fact that daylight savings has stuffed his sleep up even more! The other day we were up at 4.40am! Ugh!! Hoping tomorrow is not too early, anything after 6 is ok with me!
Hope everyone is well :)
Hi everyone :)
I havent been in for ages, I'm so slack!!
Tobias ist talking still, he's lost all his words except "mum" "mumma" etc & "hi". He only ever got up to about 5 or 6 words but they've been gone for months now :( Apparently he has glue ears (both ears) which would explain the no talking as it would mean he cant hear very well. He has another check up in a month to see if he'll need the gromets (sp?). I was looking back through DD's milestones as I updated her "first 5 yrs book" & saw she said her first sentence at 20 months old ("look mum, a balloon") I feel sad that Tobias isnt able to communicate with me the way Brianna could & does. Hopefully soon :crossfingers:
I hope everyones well & had a lovely Easter. We're off to the Gold Coast tomorrow for 2 weeks!!
 Dani. Lil had bad ears and we didn't know about it til she was about 18ish mths old. THe ent suggested we stop giving her dairy products because he has found therE to be a correlation between the two, plus he didn't want to operate on her (for grommets) if he didn't have to. We did for a while and it worked her ears cleared up and were all good again. When we reintroduced dairy they got bad again. Maybe try no dairy for a while and see what happens?
Ah Danielle, sounds like the little man cant hear very well. I dont think you should be worried about your communication level being different to that of Brianna. I have three of the little buggers and nothing has been the same. You communicate in so many more ways then words. I am sure that Mr Tobias knows how to get the message across. Kels idea of cutting down on dairy sounds like a good start. You dont want him to have an op if he doesnt need one.
Kel: Easter sounds nice, sorry DH had to work. Mine got home at 11am on sunday so it was a very painful wait for the hunt for the kids. Grace and Evie went wild and Tom really got it. Well he didnt know you could eat the eggs but loved finding them for me. We hid over 200 little eggs (Dont worry the kids didnt really get any.....my butt can prove this. Some are still hid in the freezer). It was a lovely day and mum and dad came over for a roast lunch/dinner.
How is everyone else?
We are all settling into the house. STill heaps of unpacking to get done but i bet im still saying that in 12 months.......
I am doing better. I still get very tired quickly and my brain is running at about 70-80%. If only i could have a few days away from the kids im sure it would speed things up. As it is im getting there. I have been in a ferral mood the last week. I think that i have just started to process the loss mentally. I also think its the fact that i am having me 2nd visit from AF..... i just want to have another bubba.... times running out and i know i know if i stress it wont happen and the worse the mood the less BDing! But hey im trying..... It would just be so lovely to hold one more baby. I dont talk about this with anyone else as they make me feel bad for the three i have. I know how lucky i am, i love the ones i have but does that really mean i cant want another? What is the magic number that says 'thats it, you have had enough and can no longer want anymore?'
Any way thats my whine for the day, sorry ladies!
thought i would pop in here for some help!
My DD was born august 22nd and her temper wow ive never seen anything like it she makes DD1 look like an angel! How does anyone here deal with temper tamtrums?
Apart from that Bellahs doing well, trying out the potty and talking lots!!
Will catch up here soon, speak of the devil and she wakes up!
Hello ladies!
Nikkie its the Leo in them that gives them the fight. I have a DD 25/4/04 and a Leo 16/8/06 then Tom 21/08/08 So we have 2 leos. Interesting :) I see by your ticker that you lost a bubba this month. I am so sorry for your loss. It must be a very hard time for you!
Well ladies.................:bfp: ................I know i know i know DH said no more........... Welll............. we have never used any birth control and well this month DTD was more "urgent" then what time of the month it was . So while i was happy to be trying, DH was still at the "really?" . I also feel very bad for those that take so long to fall. Even with my losses i have been VERY lucky!
But i am happy to say after ****ing on one million sticks that they are all saying yes...
I will have to have a scan next week to check its in the right spot and then that horrible 12week mark then all should settle down. I want to be happy but i also want to be realistic. So please  all will be ok!
Also those of FB i wont be telling anyone for a LONG time. I was over 17weeks with the others. :shhh:
Milly, that is AWESOME news! Congrats! Sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: Mum's the word on FB (pun intended) ;)
Nikkie, so sorry for your loss. As for temper tantrums, so far we have been very lucky. DD is usually a fairly easy going girl and is only just starting to assert herself if things aren't going the way she wants. So watch this space!
As for me, I am due in less than four weeks. I've reached the point where I am so over being pregnant, but I am terrified to be the mother of two. So it's a bit of a conundrum! Oh well, I'm sure I will figure it out once DS arrives. My mum is staying with us for a week now and DH is in Melbourne for a wedding so it's nice to put my feet up and have 'Nanna' pick up the slack!
Hope everyone is well!
Erin: so glad that your mum is there to help[ out! I say suck it up while you can. Ofcourse you are feeling funny about being a mum to two. You think that everything is going to double but it really doesnt. You will have good days and bad but really thats normal with a new born. Just dont let everyone freak you out how Beth will be. Mine have a ll been fine with a new brother or sister. I think its just the way you welcome them in. I always made a point of saying, its the babys turn now for a cuddle and then used every chance when the baby was having a cry but didnt need me to hug the other kids and say, its Evies turn now. So they hear that the baby has to wait sometimes too!
Nikkie I'm so sorry for your loss
In regards to the tantrums, I'm in the same boat! DD NEVER had tantrums like DS is having, DD actually never really had tantrums at all, I have been very spoilt! OMG DS has meltdowns over the smallest things & it drives me nuts!!! Even in the supermarkets, I'm now that mother that everyone stares at & shakes their head at because my child is the "brat" thats screaming the place down :( Its very embarrassing & frustrating. I have no words of advice sorry because I have no experience with it but just know that you're not alone..... it looks like we're all suffering it together!
Milly CONGRATS!! So happy for you, your secret is safe with me on FB too ;)
Erin Wow not long now!!! I'm glad your mum is there with you, put your feet up & make the most of it hun :)
AFM Well I was going to come in & complain about DS's temper tantrums but it seems like it may be quite normal, I just hope it passes soon enough, I cant stand it! Tobias still not talking, only "mumma" "hi" & "bye". XH had the kids this weekend & was supposedto take DS to get his follow up appt for his ears..... I'll make a bet right now that he didnt & I know I'll be right. XH was also supposed to drop in to pick up DD's readers for school so she could do some reading at his house over the weekend, I told him about it Sat morning, I'm a 20 minute drive fromhis place (only 10 mins past his GF's place so he could have come up after visiting her) but he didnt so DD misses out, he's just not interested in the kids, I get so excited watching DD read but he just doesnt care, I dont get it
Well not much new here besides the tantrums
I hope you're all going well xxx
Nikki  about the loss. xx Re. Tantrums - Jorja throws MASSIVE ones lately. Age and pushing boundaries i think. She screams, throws herself on the floor, pulls her hair and spits and kicks. I tend to just walk away in a hope that she'll stop because she's not getting the attention she's looking for. Otherwise, we have a naughty chair she sits on until she is finished.
AFM- Jorja still isn't using many words. I think we have mum, dad, shoes, poo yuk, uh oh and bye... does anyone else have more words than this???
ONly 2 weeks until bubba is due so hoping that he/she decides to come soon - i didn't realise how hard being pregnant would be with a little one
Hope everyone is well and little ones are well. I can't believe they will be 2 soon!!!
Hello lovelies!!!
How are you all today? I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!
Well, we had a great weekend. Yesterday we went to Gosford (1 1/2hrs drive away), where they had a show/fair thingy on. It was really good. The kids went on some little rides and ate junk and just had a ball! We then went to see my dad who lives up there too. He adores my kids and had them in hysterics chasing them around and tickling them. I love to watch him with them! THEN we went to sizzlers for dinner on the way home. I ate waaayyyy too much junk and food in general, especially considering I am trying to lose weight (yes again...or still??!!!).
Today I am trying to clean in preparation for moving, doing the bigger stuff like pulling the light fittings down and washing vertical blinds! Such a drag but it has to be done. None of it has been done for at least 3yrs! I used to do it regularly, but since the kids were born, I do the minimum for the place to be clean and clutter free and that's it!!
This is my second week as a SAHM again, and it feels kinda strange knowing that this will be my life for a few years, lol! When I was at home before on mat leave I knew the time would be short and limited. With Lil I had 8mths off and with Liam only 5mths before going back to work. So this time knowing that although the time is limited, it will be a long time before I have to go back to work. I'm going to go down to the library to find out when the kids reading session is on so we have at least one thing to do for the next few weeks, lol! DH is off work for the next few weeks until we move too because they didn't want to roster him on for half a roster and then we move. So he's here to keep us occupied a bit too (and to drive me batty!).
The kids have just gotten over a cold, they have been a bit miserable, very snotty, watery eyes and croaky voiced. And Liam is teething. I checked his mouth this morning (I try not to do it too often, he usually bites me these days, lol!) and he's got one of his 2yr molars coming up. No wonder he's been a little s@#!. And I hear you all on the tantys too. Liam is a master!
Wow you girls who are ready to pop, that time seems to have flown to me!! I'm sure it hasn't for you tho!! LOL. Try not to stress about being a mumma to two. I freaked a bit as well when Liam was born and having Lil. They are only 16mth apart and I was panicking how I would parent two babies. But is was ok. I had tough times don't get me wrong, but now lookign back, I wouldnt change it at all. They are best friends and I love watching them together.
Sunshine, Liam talks a fair bit, but only stuff DH and I can understand really. But he know's what he's saying and says alot, as in he says the same sounds when he wants cartain things, kwim? He says Where, mum, dad, bath, bap (his blankie), more, go out, outside, Bella (my mums dog), Ash (his cousin), no, yeah, drink, stop, don't touch.....clearly enough for other people to understand tho. But he talks all day, he hears Lily talk non stop ALLLLL day (seriously, most days I ask he to stop talking at some stage of the day!!) so he's constantly babbling over the top of her. Drives me batty!! LOL!
Well, I'm should do something practical while the monkeys sleep.....have a marvellous day ladies :D
Helllllooooooo......everyone is very quiet here!
Well, I have some very exciting new...I'm pg!! We are expecting #3 in late Jan 2011. So far things are ok, a few fairly mild symptoms, ravenous between about 9am-1pm then no appetite after 5pm (but not really nausia), heartburn (already!!), tiredness, a bit moody and teary. And that's about it, but I am only just pg, about 5ish weeks.
The kids are going well. Liam is getting his molars still and we are having days of terrible temper tantys and sleepless nights. He's also had an infection in his penis, poor little man! He's on antibiotics for it for the first time ever!! The stupid doctor we saw was such an idiot. We had to go to the medical centre because our family doctor wasn't open. My god, I could have done what he did! He didn't even want to look at DS. He was willing to just take me on my word and what I described to him and then send us on our way! I insisted he have a look to be sure. I don't have much faith in the idiot. I do have faith in my mummy instincts though and I know he needed antibiotics, which he got. Then the dr told us to get him circumsised because he's had one infection!!!! I explained that he'd been in a pooey nappy the day before for quite a while (it didn't smell and we didn't know he was dirty!) so I think that's what has caused it. He said we should get him cut anyway...Not that I have anything against it, I just have never seen this stupid doctor, he doesn't know us from a bar of soap, and he is telling me to go and give my son an unneccessary medical procedure based on one minor infection!Bloody moron! Sorry rant over, lol!
Other than that they kids are really good. I'm loving being at home with the all day and can't wait to move (9 days to go!! Woohoo!!!) and get ourselves into a playgroup and swimming lessons and all of that stuff!
Ok I'm going to go and do some stuff because DH has taken the kids to the shops and is giving me a few hours for myself!! I hope everyone is well :)
:leap::leap::leap:Woohoo kel!:happyforyou::happyforyou::happyforyou::happyfory ou:
Thats the best news! If only we had timed things better LOL. Ill have to pop into your group and say hello. I am likely to have bubs in December tho! I hope, god every now and then i have this thought of what if i go to 42 weeks, thats 6 weeks longer than Evie. Your symptoms sound just like mine. I am starving ALL day then bamb cooking dinner for the kids and i cant eat a thing! Not feeling that sick just that sea sick sort of a feeling in the background. Nipples kill when i get into the shower i know TMI LOL.
Hope all goes well with the move, so glad that DH work pays for the move and movers, you still will be very tired! Remember you can take months to unpack, LOL its been 6 weeks here and there are still boxes in the garage!
Poor Liam and his little man! Hope the AB do the job. The infection could have been caused by anything. Tom has a love affair with his! Silly Dr to even bring something like that up! I think that there are still some Drs out there that think that people that dont do the snipe are lazy and just forgot to get it done. The medical indecations for the snipe are infection but recurrent and before the age of 1!
Cant wait to hear more about the pregnancy and the move! Take care of yourself!
hey and get yourself a TICKER!
I know I've already said it but a BIG congrats Kel on the pg!!!
I've wondered if we are getting 2 year molars here too. We have had many sleepless nights, disgusting nappies, red cheeks and temps. Take it as it comes.
Jorja is starting to use a few more words that we can understand which is good.
Other than that, nothing else much happening here. Just waiting for this new bubba to arrive :)
Hope you are all well. x
We just got our top eye teeth, the worst yet, butthats it now for awhile he has them all!
Happy birthing Sunshine, cant wait to see the birth announcemnt!
:happyforyou: Congratulations Kel!! That's awesome news! And good luck with the house move! I second what Millie said, take your time with unpacking. We have been here almost 6 months and still have some boxes in the garage! =)
Millie, I hope your pregnancy is going smoothly! :bellyrubs:
AFM I am with Sunshine just waiting for some action! :bhcontract: Fingers crossed that it happens soon! I am over the insomnia, and when I do get to sleep waking with heartburn and needing to pee! I swear I will get more sleep with a newborn!!
Watch this space!
Oh wow, thankyou girls, I am very excited!!
Milly, lol a few weeks out of sync aren't we!! Your bub will have to come a fwekk or so late and mine a week or so early, then we can be baby buddies again, hehe!!!
How are you going with BF? Is Tom still feeding. Liam is but not as much, and only when I offer it to him which is bed time and in the morning when he wakes, rather than asking me for it a few times like he was. Good and bad in a way. If he weans, it will be good because then he did it on his own, but I still don't want him to wean just yet!!! I was planning on it when he turned 2 though. I think my supply is WAYYY down. I don't hear him swallow like he used to and he will only suckle for a little while, 5 mins each boob if I'm lucky. Even at his bed time feed. And his morning feed is on the way out I think. 2 days he ahs refused to feed and just wanted to get up, which sucks cause that means it's 5am when we get up rather than 5.30, lol!!
Yep, I'm glad we don't have to pack everything! I am struggling just cleaning everything to rent our place out, let alone having to try to pack too. MInd you we only live in a 2 br 2 bth unit. So not that much to clean, lol! I'm just soo tired! I fell asleep with Liam at 7.30 last night. I was supposed to start scrubbing tiles and stuff last night....oh well, looks like it wll have to happen today!
Liam's penis is ok now. The AB's kicked in straight away thankfully, it looked so sore, and he was so brave with me poking it, lol! And I have nothing against people who give their boys' circumcisions, it's just not for my family and my little man. Unless he starts getting chronic infections all of a sudden, then I would consider it, but not for one infection. It was the first thing the doc said as soon as I said Li had an infection, he didn't even look at it, just said get a circumcision! GRRRRRR!!!! There are some idiotic doctors out there. Just because they're doctors the think they know best!
Jen, thanks!! Gosh, you must be so eager to have you bubby now! I hate late pg, but the results are worth it!!
With the molars they can take ages to come up. She might show symptoms for a while, but they won't pop out for ages. Liam has been teething with his since at least about chrissy time. They've been moving and causing him issues, but only now have they popped out, and only the bottom two. and only the front two tips of them, not the whole tooth.
Erin, lol, so not looking forwards to the heart burn...I already have been getting it a bit, yuck!! I get it really badly in pg. And the sleeplessness, well, I don't get much as it is so I don't think I will be losing out! At least a newborn won't be too much of a shock for me we it comes!
Good luck with your births Jen and Erin! I will be watching for your announcements in the next few weeks!!!! :leap:
Hi Kel, do you want some pregnancy mags? I have a few here that would be sad to throw out after just one read?
I would love them if you don't mind sending them to my new address waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy out west! ;)
Hi ladies,
Well, just dropping in quickly to let you all know that I won't be around for a few weeks. We are moving tomorrow and the net gets disconnected tomorrow. It will take at least a week for us to get reconnected, if not more.
Hope you all stay well and the kidlets are all good for you (and for those of you waiting for babbas to come, good luck with your births, wish I could be here to share with you, but I'm thinking 2-3weeks might be a bit too long, lol!)!! I am absolutely buggered and so need to rest but so can't! Just having a coffee to recharge now. We still have sooo mcuh to do! Moving is not fun with little kids. Mine have been in front of the electronic babysitter all day and I'm feeling like a horrible mummy! They are so bored and I'm over telling them to get out of the boxes, not to touch the freshly painted walls or the clothes and stuff waiting to go into the boxes, they're just annoying the $h!t out of each other plus I dont think Liam is 100% well....arrrggghhhh!!!! THe last thing I need is a sick kid!
Cant wait til tomorrow arvo rocks around, then it will all be over, furniture on the truck and unit cleaned for some tennants to rent it out! It's a 9hr drive out to our new home. We might just drive to the Blue mountains (about 1hr away, 1 1/2 in traffic!!) tomorrow and stay there, then go to Dubbo on Tuesday and onto Cobar Wednesday. Our furniture won't be there til Wednesday so we can take our time.
Ok, ladies, I really should go! Can't be sitting on my tooshy surfin the net while the hubby paints can I??!! Well, I think it will be a week or 3 util I 'see' you all so take care!
:bump: Hellooooo, where is everyone???? Hope you're all well :)
Hi Kellie :) Glad the move went well & you're enjoying your big place!!! I'm very jealous!
Tobias is still not talking... still just "mumma" but he's trying to say Brianna, especially when I say "call out to Brianna" & he puts his hands up to his mouth to shout & shouts "Maa Maaa" but it kinda sounds a bit like "Brianna" so he's trying ;)
I've been around but not really feeling up to posting. Going through a bit of a tough personal life crisis atm & it stresses me to the max. I'm thinking of moving to Forster BEFORE my lease ends for a number of reasons but one reason being how tiny this granny flat is for the amount of money I'm paying... not only the money but its too cramped with 2 young kids running around. I only moved back to Syd 8 months ago *sigh* dont really want to move again but will have to eventually anyway.
Hope everyone is well :grouphug:
Hi Kel! Yes im around! We are all good. Im just stuffed all the time! Went to bed at 7pm last night, how sad is my life! LOL. Kids all well after getting over their colds. DH away now for a week Ahhhhh.
Hi Danielle: Sorry you are still going thru some stuff, i am keeping upto date in you other posts. We use to live in Taree, Forster is a lovely place and i have friends still there so i could hook you up? Hopefully the right solution for you and the kids will come up soon!
How is everyone else?
Erins and Jens bubbas are here now! Our turn now Kel!.....Oh some days i think its going to be YEARS away!
Danielle what was you scan for today? Hope all is ok? When is Tobias op? Hope all goes well and his speech picks up quickly!
Kel: Will send those mags tomorrow. Do you want to be each others PIG? Im sure you told evryone about TOm, it would be nice to have you do it again!
Hi Milly, my scan was for pancreatitis but it looks like its passed & is ok now (hope it doesnt come back... it was terrible!)
Tobias has his operation tomorrow to get the gromits in both ears ;) 7am. Thanks for asking xxx Hope all is going well with u, going to bed at 7pm is great, do it while u still can!
Kel I hope things are getting better for you hun, ur on my mind, I wish I was closer
I hope everyones well
Oh i bet thats wasnt nice and yes i hope that it never comes back Danielle! Maybe too much chocolate LOL?
Good luck to mr T tomorrow im sure he will be fine and i cant wait for you to say that you are going nuts with how much he is talking! Let us know how it all goes!
**cut and pasted from my april bb thread!! I'm too lazy, lol!**
Hi all,
Well I am feeling MUCH better after an absolutely fantastic night sleep. Damien took the kids all night and slept with them in their room so I could sleep by myself and my god I feel good for it! I feel like normal again!
I have a doctors appt soon (and will have to get ready in a mo!) to get results from bloods and u/s, though the u/s tech guy told me all was well with bubs when I had the u/s over a week ago. I will be going for my 12wk u/s soon, yay! I'm in two minds as to whether time is flying or dragging for me with this pg, lol! Some days I feel like 'I'm 10weeks already??' some days its like I'm only 10 weeks I feel like I should be 30!'. Damien, the kids and I went to Dubbo yesterday so I could get some mat clothes. Mine are getting a tad tight! I am huge already I look like I'm about 6mths pg! I think it's because I'm (tmi!) constipated and my tummy muscles are absolutely shot. Thye are so weak and I just can't hold it all in like I usually do! In a way I can't wiat til bub comes so I can lose weight and get fit again. I'm feeling really horrible in my skin. Though I do like how I look when pg, just that at tehm mo I just look really fat! Well fatter than normal! I was rather disappointed witht he mat clothes choices out there. Even trusty old Big W had nothing out that I normally wear. I usually get a pair of Big W jeans and a few of their mat. yoga pants, but they had NOTHING. Not even the usual plain tops they have that I live in. I tried on a pair of pants that were ok looking and they were sooo small. Lily said to me, 'mummy you're too fat for them....really really too fat!' Thanks hunny thats one way to make mummy feel like crap! Then at PP, I tried a few pairs of jeans which were absolutely HUGE but the next size down didn't fit well. All I ended up getting was 3 tops. I didn't really need tops yet, mostly pants, but there was nothing! I might send some money to my mum and see if she can get me some staples to wear for now...ah well!
Ok ladies gotta go to the docs, I hope you all have a lovely day and I will try to catch up properly later
ETA:
Milly I would love to be you PIG!! And to have you as mine. What an honor :) not sure if I still have your number though.
Dan, big  babe. The last thing you need is health issues at the moment. I hope everything is as ok as it can be. And don't worry about me babe. You need to think about yourself, you have enough on your plate! But I am humbled that you're thinking of me :) I think of you alot too sweety, and yep, like you wish I was closer now that I have time to be there for you! Sucks when I was closer I was working and had no time to do much, but now I don't have to work I'm soooo far away! But hey, you're always welcome to come out here for a break!! Trust me there's not much to do but nothing!!You will definately get a break out here, lol!
Bugger it who cares if you copy and paste! Good to hear you had a good sleep. thats what i should be doing now but i had this STUPID idea that if i put all my folding on my bed id have to do it before i went to sleep! Idiot! But i also have this thing where i dont like my clean clothes on the floor so i just cant go in there and throw them off. Was thinking about sleeping in the girls room butthat seems childish!
Woohoo, your my PIG! I know what you mean about fast verses slow. I get the whole oh crap im only 12 weeks im going to die, then i get the "if this baby comes when evie didn then i only have 24weeks to go" Oh crap and i cant even do my own folding LOL! How am i going to cope with another human to look after!!!!!!!
LOL, Milly, I do stuff like that too, put the washing in places that I HAVE to put it away or there's serious consequences, hahaha!! I put washing on Lily's bed last night and after DH bathed her, I went to get her blankie and remembered the pile of clothes on her bed to put away, thatnkfully it wasn't quite bed time yet and I got it packed away before it was time for bed!! Mind you I still have about 4 baskets full on the lounge to put away today! Did you get your packed away?
I've been thinking about how I will cope with an extra person to care for too! Especially with DH doing 6 nights shifts in a row...if he does that when bubs comes and it sleeps as badly as my other two do, I'm going to go bananas, I mean seriously batty! But that will hopefully only last a littel while and it will be over once bubs is a bit older! I hope :crossfingers:
Danielle, I see on FB you've had a big night....lol!! Sounds like you had a ball and it was just what you needed to unwind. I can't wait til I can go on a bit of a bender. It's been soooo long, seriously, about well, 4yrs with being pgbreastfeeding and pg and bfing and pg....I'm sure you get the picture! I need a drunken night out! But that won't be for a while yet, lol! Hope you're not too under the weather today!
AFM, well DH has been home for a few days so all is well, lol! He has let me sleep a few days and yesterday I had a 2 hour nanna nap! Mind you it was while the kids were sleeping too, they slept for 2 1/2hours!! They never used to sleep like that at our old place! Must be the fresh air and running around they do in the yard!
Ok thats it, hi to everyone else, I hope you're all well!
LOL girls, I still have 2 baskets full of clean washing to fold here in my lounge room, I just cant find any motivation to get started LOL
Yeah last night was fun, I'm feeling fine, didnt wake until 10:30!!! & that was only because XH called & woke me  I have a lunch booked today with the mums from DD's school & its at a place called Manly wine gazebo... the thought of drinking any wine today makes me feel a little off  but the food sounds yummy so it should be all good. I couldnt make it to the last one because it was on a weekend I had the kids so I cant not go today, I'm sure it will be good. I feel a bit like the odd one out there... the "single mum", oh well I can leave early if needed I guess.
DS seems to be going well after having the grommets put in last Thurs. BUT bath time so far has not been fun, he screams because he doesnt want the blue tack in his ears, but I have to do it  he also hates having the ear drops put in, its heart breaking doing it & I need to do it TWICE a day for a month (to start with) :( I know it will get better & its all for the best... it just sucks atm though.
I hope everyones well. My kids are at their dads this weekend so its very quiet & calm here
Danielle: Glad you had a good night out. How did the luncheon thingy go?
Kel: LOL about the washing, lucky it wasnt that much that you couldnt get it done b4 lily needed to go to sleep! I KWYM about the night out its been SEVEN years of being continously pregnant and/or BF in JULY for me. OMG i am a loser! I finished all my folding and now have more to do! I hate that job!
AFM: 12 weeks yesterday :happyforyou: Woohoo!
Milly Congrats on hitting the 12 week mark!!!! :leap:
My luncheon was actually really good, the food was delicious & we ended up going to the Wharf bar afterwards & having a few more drinks... I got home from "lunch" after 9pm hahahahaha It was great getting to know the other mums from DD's school, they're a lovely bunch of girls & I feel more "accepted" I suppose you could say now. :)
Thats really importanty. Grace has been at school for 18months now and i have made some great friends! The support is important and you have to make roots even if you have to move again soon! Its all part of the Mother job LOL!
Thinking of you and the family!
Hi girls,
Well, we are going ok. We are settling into our new place, it's feeling alot more like home now and I'm not so scared to be alone while DH works anymore, lol! DH is going away for 4 days for training so I am home with the kids alone which I hate. I just get worried about if anything goes wrong because we are so far away from friends and family, and DH being 8hours away from us, it's all left up to me! A bit over whelming to be sooo responsible for the kids and myself for so long. But I'm sure all will be fine.
Liam is getting big way too quickly! I'm pretty sure Liam has weaned in the past two weeks or so. He's not had a feed for about 2 days now I think. He has been slowing down with feeding for a few weeks before that and he's been feeding sporadically the last week, even his night time feeds, he's not worried about not having, if I don't offer he doesn't worry about it, so I stopped offering. I'm sad about it, though happy he did it on his own without any tears or tanty's. I'm not sure I'm making much milk now anyway. He's talking non stop and saying some funny things! He told me last night 'No I go bed!' went and got his blankie and asked for his dummy, kissed and hugged his sister and me and dragged daddy off to the bedroom! That's a first, lol! Then he slept through the night until 6am!! And so did everyone else in the house. I woke in a bit of a panick at 5.40am because I hadn't woken through the night at all! That's another first for a few years!!
LOL Milly, you're not a looser for bf'ing for so long. You should be proud of yourself. You babies are lucky little people to have such a dedicated mumma. We will have to meet up one day in s year or two after these bubbas are born and have a wild night out!!
Danielle, I'm thinking about you hun, lots of love and big hugs. I'm so sorry you're going through this all.
Hi to everyone else, I hope you're all well.
Hi every one havent been in here in ages but how is every one doing.
Belated congrats on your pregnancys Tegam and Lilias :)
Lilias I know exactly what you mean about feeling all alone and miles from any one, I felt like that when just after I had Eireann and we were staying in our friends house On the sunshine coast it was really out of the way on its own and we were miles away from family they were in Ireland and my brother was in Melbourne I used to feel so scared something would happen and no one owuld know. but it didnt and we were fine
Eireann has weaned about 7 weeks now we did it very slow it was down to one feed every second day then third then none she is getting so big and independent still have little to no hair and nearly two dam it after 3 boys I couldnt wait for slides and fancy ribbons. my day will come LOL
I have some news as well, Ive just found out Im nearly 5 weeks pregnant such a shock as we had planned Eireann as our last I was so nervous telling DH as he was adamant no more and I alwyas have room for more and if he had of taken it badly I would have been devasted but being the lovely guy he is, he is delighted and making plans all read yay! now to get through to 12 weeks with no problems is the main aim.
:confetti: YAY, congrats hun!!! My goodness there has been a boom in pg announcements the past week or so, lol!!! Here's to a happy and healthy pg for you :crossfingers:
