Beema ~ I would love to catch up - if nothing else but to make new friends!!!!!
OMG! I just did a huge long post that I had spent a couple of hours on and now it is all gone!
Oh Yay Kell!! I will PM you about my diary this week!! He he!!
MT ~ Don't you just lurrrve technology!
B ~ Look forward to it! LOL
ARGH! Babies!
Seven just had the most luxurious of baths, bubbles and all, and a massage. She loved it, and for the first time ever, she didn’t cry when I took her out.
We had a lovely feed, then 10 minutes later. BAM. Poo blow out. And, also for the first time ever, it went up the BACK!
So, naked as the day she was born, she got a ‘baby wipe’ wash. And a new set of jimjams.
So, S.E.V.E.N no longer spells Seven, it spells RatBag.
Oh, you may have noticed, she broke the 4 day poo rule! (we had poop 2 days ago!)
PS ~ This has been typed up in word and copied and pasted into here! I do that too MM!!!
Oh for pities sake ~ I have just looked down and found......Vomit. We now have chuck all over our nice second set of clean pj's! Oh I hope someone is getting a giggle out of this!
OMG Kel, if it makes you feel better we get a poo EVERY NAPPY CHANGE!
Well, we had ONE nappy today that was just wet. But that is such a rare occasion we practically put out bunting.
:waves: to all, but sorry no personals, it's late and I should be :asleep:
We USED to have poo every change. Then it slowed down to every 4 days, and I - stupidly - got used to it. Darn it!
Goo the poopey topic ya can tell we are all mom's
Happy 2nd anniversary to me :D YAY now there should be no reason as to why we cant now start the adoption
CM4E... Oh bugger, you got a CODE SPEW and a CODE POO ... LOL yes thats what I call it when its all blown out and messy, well its either that or I'd be so furstrated/upset at the fact that she poos and/or spews over practically EVERY nice outfit I own! Honestly, I can't hold her before we go out or else I'd have to change honestly she just wants to make me cry sometimes I think!
Did someone say CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
We got a Christmas tree on layby, Shel and I have never had one before. Well, we never spend Christmas alone, its always my family in the morning and hers in the afternoon. Which involves driving AT LEAST 3 hours in total BLEH, but this year we have said NO not travelling, if you want Christmas with us YOU can come HERE. We have Jazz now so we can say that (thats the excuse everyone else uses, we can't travel, we've got kids...)
Anyway, Christmas... our Christmas tree will go up on December 1. I also COOK up a storm squidipa! YAY! COOKING! Wonder what I'll cook for Christmas dinner? Suppose it depends on who decides to turn up...
I'll BBL for personals...
Morning everyone!!!!
Leash - thats a good excuse not to travel. Doesn't work here though - we are the ones with the least amount of kids in my family!! And I think its at my sisters house this year - so thats travelling down in the morning to Narangba - and then travelling back up to Pomona to have the afternoon with DH's family at his sisters place. Gonna be a long bloody day. I hate christmas for that reason, its always the kids that suffer cos its just too long a day to fit everything in.
Squidipa - congrats on 2 years.
:o I've just realised its our wedding anniversary tomorrow.. PMSL.. OMG.. I had forgotten... PMSL... f**k... whoops!! Hopefully DH forgets too... LOL Nothing special - only 3 years married (3 years and 2 kids later.... hehe)
Kell - I hate changing outfits so quickly - thank god with the cloth nappies the explosions never go up her back - they are always kept within the nappy... (ahhh.. gotta love a good cover!! LOL)
Vic - yay for milk honey - you are a wonderful cow ;) (In the nicest possible meaning of course!! LOL)\
SB - if you are lurking - POST WOMAN POST ;)
LOL
I met the lovely SB (who hasn't posted in AGES) at the meet up on Sunday and it was lovely to meet her. Wish you lived closer SB - I think we would be great mates!!!! *mwah*
Hello to everyone else - yes slack I know, but too many posts for me to keep up with this morning!!!!!! Plus DS is trashing the place (DD is sleeping) so probably should go play with him and give him some attention before his sister wakes up again.
*mwah* to all and sundry!!!!!
xxx
Surely you've got the youngest though Mel lol, thats our excuse my parents have my brothers (7 and 15) and SIL has her three girls (11, 13, 15) but we've got the youngest so harder to travel (though its kind of a standoff with my parents as my 15yo bro has CP so he's a bit tricky to get travelling).
Reckon I could still use the "I'm still recovering from the c/s"? Probably not since my mums had one I guess
Oh, had my driving lesson. PMSL... yeah theres a reason I need lessons... though I DID do a reverse parallel park WITHOUT hitting anything! INCLUDING the curb (though the instructor may have used her pedals lol). Got my SIL taking me driving on Thursday, and another lesson nect Monday, 2 hours next time.
Oh, LOL, I left Jazz and Shel home with each other. I fed jazz before I left and said "ok, I expressed this, but she won't need it, but just in case". I got home (was only gone just over an hour BTW!) and she's fed her the WHOLE bottle of 170mL... because she was crying . I seriously JUST fed her just before I walked out the door, so she basically had two full feeds in an hour. I can't say she wouldn't have drunk it if she wasn't hungry because my girl is a guts! Though I guess she would have spewed if she'd had too much. Still I had to laugh... I leave them home alone for an hour! It was the first time that I had left the house without Jazz and the first time Shel was home alone with her. I didn't worry (surprisingly) but I think Shel might have been a bit nervous!
PMSL @ Shel - oh the poor thing.. thank GOD DH doesn't freak out anymore - unless I leave him with both of them.. haha!!!!
And yeah I do have the youngest - but that doesn't matter in our family - we all have toddlers so they are the main problem in the car - they scream loud!!! LOL
No excuses for DH's family - we are the only ones with kids. (Which is why at our normal family dinners throughout the year we get pi$$ed off because they want to do a lunch thing starting at 12 - and then all of them get pi$$ed at US because we won't come until after 2 - after DS has woken up from his only nap that he has during the day. now seriously people, if you don't have kids - wouldn't you try to organise the things around the only people that DO have kids?!!!?)
Sorry - went a bit off track there. I'm still grumpy.
Hi Ladies!
It has been a while since I posted in here- sorry for my disappearance- but I was feeling a bit shy and overwhelmed with trying to remember who was who and babies names etc coz most you all knew each other from your belly buddies thread.. silly I know- coz you were all so nice and welcoming but I have been lurking? (stalking.. lol however you want to look at it!!) and I feel like I have gotten to know everyone a bit more now- plus I met Mel IRL over the weekend so I am going to make a bit more of an effort to post in here!! I hope that?s ok!!!
Mel?. It was great to meet you on Sunday! And you didn?t seem shy at all!! Although the crowd had diminished a bit by the time we sat down for a chat!! I am so glad I went! We will have to do it again sometime! Maybe we can start meeting half way between us.
Leasha? Don?t worry Shane isn?t rolling yet either- and he still HATES belly time- so I cant see him trying hard to get onto his belly anytime soon!! Maybe I should try it the other way and have him half on his tummy and see if he will roll onto his back???
As for poo?s?. well we get one pretty much every day- if not every second day- and they can be VERY explosive!!!! Lol I got a good one on Sunday arvo- all over me!!
And sleeping? well we have good nights and not so good nights.. depending what time he goes down.. last night was great? 8-3am then back down by 4 and up at 8am? still awake now though?
And Christmas???!!!! No idea where we will end up this year- i would like to have xmas morning at home... but after that who knows!! I have been thinking about pressies for Shane already!!!
My mum is coming over soon so I better go and do a quick tidy up.. I?ll try to come back soon for some more personals!!!
Bye for now!!
SB
Good morning beautiful people!
Even if you didn't, I did LOL! ;)
And Leash, Veygas always waits til we're out before chucking all over my shoulder!! But I guess after 4, you get used to it!! LOL!
hehehehe Mel, that's kinda like me and DP ... although we're not married, we'll be together for 4 years on 1st January next year, and our oldest will be 8 a couple of weeks later! Go figure  Obviously not his hey!! :shhh: hehehehehe
Katti - nice to see you posting again chicky!!!
Squidipa - congrats on your anniversary hun!
As for Christmas - we did the whole family thing coming here one year and it TOTALLY SUCKED! We vowed to always have Christmas day just our nuclear family, and arrange for one side of the fam to come a couple of weeks before and the other side to come a couple of weeks after ... This year, looks like IL's are gonna try and crash chrissie day though, as my FIL has decided to retire at the end of this year and they want to throw money around for the kids :wtf: I'd rather them put it in the kids accounts to help them out a bit later. They just want to get them ***** like toys and stuff (not even clothes!!! But my MIL has the worst woggy taste in clothes anyway!!) BUT they are still not coming on chrissie day - NO WAY!!!!!
I haven't heard from my mum since DS2's b'day in MARCH (again :wtf: ) so they can shove christmas where the sun don't shine!
Sorry, that's my rant for the day (I hope! LOL!)
DD started her kindy orientation today and she looked so cute in her uniform!!! She was really excited - I think she may even cry when I pick her up cause she won't want to come home! (they are only doing half days to get the kids used to being in a school routine)
Bloody DS2 didn't want to leave and he's only 2.5!!
Morning yummy mummies
StarBright - welcome!! Always happy to have new people!
so far DD has been pretty good about puking on me, hasn't done it too many times, and I guess the upside of having a poo every nappy change is that we don't get explosive build up! Hey got to find an upside somewhere
Vic - great to hear your milk is back! Hope everything else is going well
Christmas should be interesting this year - we are going to stepmother's sister's house and having a spit roasted pig. The Bear killed the pig himself :o so it should be different! Never had a baby at Christmas before so not sure how it will go with pressies and stuff but I'm sure Beth will be buried in loot.
our anniversary is on the 29 December or the 30 December... we can't decide since we got married in the states so it can be either depending on which time zone you're using! But this will only be our 2 year anniversary so we haven't started forgetting yet!
O and happy anniversary!
:leap: Beth slept from 11.30 to 6.15 :leap: very very happy with her! and this morning the Bear and I heard a little giggle! so exciting and soooo cute!
Anyway, I have a very busy week so might not be around much, just wanted to say mwah to all and have a great day.
Hi everyone
Congrats on all of your anniversaries DF and I just had our 5TH!!!!!! gosh where has the time gone.
Squidipa- WOW your tree is up already! I bet the kids are getting really excited. Is your DH feeling better now? has his hours picked up? If only the bills would shrink or dissapear like work hours do.
The pixie- I'm going to have to get Beth to teach Allegra to sleep like that :p I'm always having nappy blow outs and have to change her clothes all the time I've been peed on a few times too do you find certain brands of nappies worse then others?
MM- I HATE having massive groups of people over you always get stuck doing the cleaning especially at christmas. LMAO at the woggy clothes! Aaaaaw how cute are tehre little school uniforms I also think it's cute when you see a back pack with little feet walking down the street on the first day of school
SB- great to hear from you and those sleeping times are fantastic
Mel- I'd be grumpy too 12 is ok when the kids start waking up at the first slither of sun light on the horizon (like I used to) to open their presents but not when they're waking later.
Leash- YAY for your driving lesson and well done on the reverse parallel I refuse to do them :D. hee hee poor Shel DF still stresses even after having Cadence But that was really sneaky of Jaz tricking mummy into thinking she needs to be fed again
CM4E- Gotta love the poo blow outs, lucky the poo blow out didn't happen in the bath
MT- oh hugs chicky I hate it when that heppens. How is everything going?
Vic- Do you take N in with you to work still? you're so lucky if you do Child care is soooo expensive. We have no room for a tree either but I'm going to re arrange some furniture to squeeze it in
Sasha- forgot to say HAPPY 2 MONTHS
Hmmm christmas isn't far away and I need to GET a tree and i'm getting one with built in lights as I HATE fighting with lights every year no matter how neat I put them away they always get tangled.
Allegra has been sleeping better which is great but she has a cold and is due for her needles so I have to wait to get them done.
I have stopped receiving calls from our baby clinic now as I have a booking to go to a parents group in November I was getting a call almost every week telling me about their facilities they were almost as bad a telemarketers
I love reverse parking of any kind!! (ok yeah, I'm weird!!)
eta: woooohooo I just noticed my new avatar!!! :leap:
