    Morning all

Feel like I haven't posted in ages!!! I was at work yesterday so had a brief second during the day - posted in the July thread then the boss came into the room just as I pressed submit reply... pmsl... thank GOD the computer faces the other way!!!!!!!!

Squidipa - songs that make me cry:
    Always - bon Jovi
    Meds - Placebo
She will be loved - Maroon 5
    Patience - Guns n roses
    without you - motley crue
I remember you - skid row..

Just to name a few.. lol

Pixie - if you came up here, I'd take pics of you with your beautiful Beth

Kel - that is such a cute pic in your ticker!! She is such a cheeky pie!!!

MM - oooh could you be pregnant again already ?

Vic - yay for the weight gain - thats fantastic!!! Woooot!!!!

MT - sometimes what should be the easiest thing in life is often the hardest I'm sure its nothin serious - maybe he's just hit a plateau or something.

Leash - if you are lonely, lemme know - I've got a car all of my very own now - so DH has taken my car to work and I've got the magna with the car seats - so can come visit - if you want the company of a toddler that is!! LOL But yeah, if you are lonely and want company - I am here. And maybe Shel just likes to get to work early. I know I like to get to work early, settle in, put my bag and lunch away, chat to friends, grab a cuppa.. that kind of stuff.. has she always left early or only recently??

Squidipa - yukko for the train to ipswich in this weather.. its sooo muggy.. its 25 degrees already... and soooo yukky... 69% humidity already - and its not even 8.30am!!! yukko!!!!

OOoh DS will be happy - Yo gabba gabba is going to be on soon. I'm very happy - he has eaten one slice of toast already and had some cheerios (cereal) for breakfast.. so he's eaten and hasn't touched his milk.. woohoo!!!!!!!!

better ring the chiro (we have an appointment today for Miss M) to see if I can make it later. its supposed to be at 10. Well, she's asleep at the moment in the swing, I'm not dressed and don't really feel like getting ready and taking the kids out by myself.. lol.. i'm so lazy...

DH left for work early this morning - stupid architects deadlines.. grr.. his boss craps me off sooo much.. such a rude *****....

Mel - PMSL @ Yo gabba gabba, it's so ghetto hey!! DS2 LOVES it as well!! 'cept he calls it "go yabba"!!! Personally, I like Broby (the little green one!) LOL!!
oooh could you be pregnant again already ?
hehehehe I guess only time will tell LOL!!!

MT - if it's any consolation, my ECHN said that BFed babies more commonly hit plateaus in their weight gains ... if Jett wasn't getting enough milk, I'm sure he'd let you know (and he wouldn't be as happy as he sounds!!) Don't lose heart sweet!

Squidipa - GL with your knee appt today and with Joshie's weigh in

Leasha - for being emotional! It happens alot here too, especially when Khaemon wants daddy to get him out of bed or dressed in the morning and daddy is at work in another state!!
Jazz has had a shocker. She just randomly screams every now and then... I kept thinking something had bitten her but I've checked her over, no marks or anything, she keeps doing it, I'm not sure.
Teething perhaps? Random pockets of wind that work themselves out?

Vic - for Nakita's weight gain!! Well done to both of you!

Well, as for me, I didn't get breakfast until 9.45am this morning because my ratbag kids (well the 2 eldest) decided to muck around and take 45 minutes to eat their own breakfast, then they had to get ready for school (which DD needs help with cause her uniform is soooooo difficult) then I had to change 2 nappies and get my 2 little men dressed, plus hang out a load of washing and then it was time to leave for school! I HATE leaving the house before breakfast and a cuppa, but I hate throwing it down due to time constraints as well, so I decided to wait til I got home!

Plus my eldest 2 decided 4am was the perfect time to get up this morning!!! (and due to the fact I have used my emoticon limit already, I can't throw in a "rolleyes" or a "wtf" or even a wide eyed one!! LOL!!) So despite the fact that I actually got to sleep before 9pm last night (hooray!!!), I am still tired today .... oh well ....

Anyway, big hugs to everyone, hope you all have a good day!!

OOhhhh please let us know ... lol.. I was tempted to get DH to DTD last night - just cos I know I am ovulating.. but nooooo... wouldn't do it.... reduces my chance for a VBA2C - so as much as i would like another one... nope.. not yet... I'll have to live vicariously through you!! lol

And yeah... DS calls it yo yo... but also calls Diego something similar... lol

    And....eww I hate that 4am wake up!!!

hahahaha I have turned off the tv - nice peace and quiet whilst eating lunch while the kiddos are asleep

Found a way to get rid of those pesky salesmen that come to your door (other than the fact I haven't brushed my hair today and I'm looking like an 80's throwback who just crawled out of the gutter)

This wan....er... knocked on the side of my house while I was trying to get DS off to sleep, after just putting Miss M down for her nap - so I went out to the door and he started sprouting off some crap about australian made blah blah blah.. and I just said in a very stern voice...

"I'M TRYING TO GET MY SON OFF TO SLEEP - THIS IS A VERY BAD TIME"

and walked away.. he he he he he

Just came back out after 20 mins (he didn't WANT to go to sleep it seemed but eventually did) and there is no one at my door..

    hehehehe.. ooh I'm evil....

    And go the july bub!!

Good on you Mel, nothing worse than people that don't care what you are doing with your day.

Little Miss Muffin has her first cold. Daddy has it bad and it has been passed on to her! So she is a very upset snuffly little thing, and has been in arms all day! Ah well, small price to pay - my housework doesn't get done, which it kind of needs to because her Christening is this weekend and next weekend is the wedding! ARGH! GET OFF BB KELL!!!!!!

Hope you are all having a great day!

CM4E - SHEEEEEEEESH!!! That came about quickly!! LOL! for the cold - it sucks hard when they are all sniffly and trying to feed

Mel - a similar thing happened to me the other day, except it was some jerk on the phone, and my kids decided to start throwing melamine plates around the house (on slate til floors no less) and I said "Look my kids are trashing the house. Goodbye" *hang up* ... He hasn't called back LOL!!

DP and I have decided to get married on halloween, and it just so happens that next year it's a saturday and the following year it's on sunday!! So I have 12 - 24 months to plan it!!

Anyways it's been a big day ad I'm exhausted, just need to get Master K off to bed!

    hi girls

yay for the weight gains squidipa and vic and the not-so-big gains sasha is your nipple better vic?

grr at whoever first mentioned yo gabba gabba, i have the "party in my tummy" song in my head again hahaha.

cm4e, wow your wedding has come up MEGA fast!! is the christening a big deal, are you dressing seven up lots? i am thinking of having one but maybe in january and have it outdoors in a park with a picnic. our friends did that and i thought it was pretty cool and not very traditional

mel, good on your for leaving the guy at the door, haha! you know, sometimes having a baby is a *great* excuse, i'm sure he will come in handy when i want to get out of something

mm - do you know how reliable pregnancy tests after giving birth are? i mean how long till the HCG is out of your system totally? i have no idea. we're not TTC again yet but DH jokes about it and i say i want my body to get back to normal first!! plus i'm loving having lots of attention time for eli.

    *hugs* to all!

i am having another mega-busy week and i have a freakin' saga on my hands (if you are on FB you'll know about it).. in short someone has taken my WORK photo and other photos of me and used it on a jewish internet dating site!! then the site has advertised using my photo!!! go to jpost.com and scroll down a long way and in the right sidebar you'll see my photo and a thing saying "ask me out".... trying to get them to take it down but it's gonna cost me a lot in legal fees meh.

other than that, life is good

I have been at playgroup today, finished work at 11:30am, so it has been a fabbo day, Nakita is now sound asleep in her swing, hoping that she doesn't wake until after 6pm, so I can post, and finish my invocie, but because I want her to stay asleep I bet she wont!!

Woot!! I won our little sweep too a whole $9 LOL! All fun though!

Big HUGEST HUGS MT, I understand how you feel and will be there for you - well actually I am every night anyway but just thought I'd say it again.

Squidipa, these are a few of my real favourite songs, they are emotional ones, depends on my mood as to whether the tears flow:
The Pieces don't fit anymore - James Morrison
    Lightning crashes - Live
    My Immortal - Evanescence

Songs that don't make me cry but are very emotive, mostly positive!
    My Happiness - Powder Finger
Hey Yeah - Acoustic Version by Obadiah Parker (really recommend looking this one up!)
Asleep in Perfection - Augie March
    You're Beautiful - James Blunt
Mary Jayne Shoes - Fergie - OMG such a fun song!!!

My list can go on for ever......

With my feeding changes, I now sit Nakita up, she sits next to me with her legs facing into the counch, I then tickle her under the chin the whole time she feeds - unless she is sucking/drinking well. The tickling is making sure she is really filling up, and sucking effectively, she is a bit of a lazy sucker

Hugs for Seven, hope she gets over her cold quickly! Wow you have a busy time ahead, looks like we will have to catch up again after everything!

"I'M TRYING TO GET MY SON OFF TO SLEEP - THIS IS A VERY BAD TIME"
Nice and honest, I love it!

Grr for the 4am wakeup MM, I hope they sleep in longer tonight, who wants to get up at 4am!!!!

Hugs Leasha I hope you feel better today and that Jazz sleeps a lot better for you to

*EDIT: Rachel, yeah my nipple is all better than change of position helped and the Lansinoh, and I have been watching your drama's too, that sucks big time, I hope you can sort it out!!

Huge Hi to everyone else hope your bubs and you are all sleeping well!

Ok well I started this post 3 hours ago, and no Nakita didn't sleep and let me finish, I knew I would jinx myself

Have a fab night, I am off to invoice, really need the money now!

    HI everyone,

Feeling better today. Just a teensy bit emotional yesterday ya reckon?

Had a nice visit from Kat (Starbright) and Shane who made me feel much better and not lonely Jazz and Shane competed to see who could have the most booby. I *think* Shane won, though does it count if he kept burping it up again?

I got my money back from that eBay seller. I reported them to ACCC. Sucks to be them, YAY to be me. It was less 10% for a cencellation fee which I think is a bit rich but at least I got most of it back.

Hey Mel was it you who suggested Thirsties? I got one of their covers and it is GREAT! No leaks AT ALL! I am so stoked! I didn't have to change her clothes AT ALL yesterday, which has to be a first. I also bought a Bummi's and a Tots Bots one just to see how they go, they're pretty good too, the Tots Bots is a bit big so leaks a bit but not even as much as my dumb PVC plichers (which are now in the bin).
Oh, BTW, Shel has a bone to pick with you... something about getting me addicted to expensive covers Nah just jokes she loves them, actually she doesn't quite know exactly how much they cost... I think I won't tell her (she's been very smart and not asked me ).

I had a door to door sales person the other day, I took Jazz to the door and she was whingy and i said "look I'm a bit busy" and he said "ok oh I'll come back when you're not busy" and I just said "don't bother". Got rid of him! With the phone ones I just hang up.

Ummmmmm, what else do I have to say. Hmmm, not much.

Oh yeah, Facebook deleted one of my breastfeeding pictures, I'm debating in my head to put it back up... stupid d!ckheads, you couldn't even SEE anything. It's the one I have up in the BB gallery Booby time
    How f---ing ridiculous!

Ok well I'm gonna go, I just heard a big rumbly explosion, and it wasn't the thunder thats rolling overhead either!!!!!!! I sure hope it is kept contained!!!!! Not ready to deal with poo everywhere at this hour!

P.S. Its Jazzy's quarter birthday PMSL! 3 months already... sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset, cats in the cradle and the silver spoon, yes they have no bananas...

Yay! Happy 3 months Jazz! It is Jett's tomorrow! Can you believe that it was around this time last year we were all getting pregnant? It has gone by sooooooo quick!

This is just a quick one cos I still haven't caught up on BB yet, just read Leash's post! I can't believe it, I'm up and having breakfast and Jett is still asleep! He went to bed around 11 last night and I stayed up later to express.....

He must be exhausted from all the feeding yesterday. He fed nearly every 2 hours both sides except for a 4 hour stint in the middle of the day. The last two nappies of the day were splodey poos, one with serious leaks, so I am hoping he is just making up for the last couple of days where he has barely done anything. Normally we have poo nearly every nappy change so we don't get a backlog, but phew! twice in a row was a bit much! Made a mess of his itti bittis! I think he has done one overnight as well! So now I am hoping it isn't the overfeeding thing coming back to haunt us where it goes straight through him..... I guess I will know if he starts screaming and crying from wind-pain non-stop in the next few days.

Well....he's still asleep so I am going to have breakfast

BBL when I finally catch up on all the goss!

    Morning all you lovely mummies!!

Oh yeah, Facebook deleted one of my breastfeeding pictures, I'm debating in my head to put it back up... stupid d!ckheads, you couldn't even SEE anything.
Leash - that is just super dooper pathetically ridiculous!!!!!! But have you heard the government wants to permanently filter the internet???? Whatever happened to freedom of speech????

sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset, cats in the cradle and the silver spoon, yes they have no bananas...
pmsl Leash!!! Too much Simpsons! LOL!

Made a mess of his itti bittis!
MT - Don't ya just hate that??? Wait til he's a toddler doing toddler sized poos!!! LOL (Mel would be there I suppose!! )

grr at whoever first mentioned yo gabba gabba, i have the "party in my tummy" song in my head again
Rach - LOL!!!! I always get their songs stuck in my head - please don't throw things at friends ... keep your hands to yourself ... it's fun to wash your hair .... I'm so I'm so sorry ... yeah well, you can tell what most of my day is about pmsl!!
And bugger about it costing YOU ... sheesh, it's not like you put your "profile" up there! I still can't get over it hey??

Grr for the 4am wakeup MM, I hope they sleep in longer tonight, who wants to get up at 4am!!!!
Vic, they did sleep longer, methinks it was because they were in trouble last night though!!

do you know how reliable pregnancy tests after giving birth are? i mean how long till the HCG is out of your system totally? i have no idea. we're not TTC again yet but DH jokes about it and i say i want my body to get back to normal first!!
I have no idea either, I've never had to do a preg test this soon after giving birth before!! LOL! Even though I have 4 kids, I'm still loving baby time with Veygas! Maybe because I'm his favourite parent LOL! Just the way he looks at me, like I'm his EVERYTHING (well I am atm!!LOL) ... I'd LOVE to have a houseful of kids (OK so it's a bit full now, but YKWIM!!) DP was actually talking about FOSTERING .. apparently there is a group of 5 siblings they want to keep together ... I'd LOVE that!! (9 kids, plus potentially one on the way ... HOUSE FULL!!!!! LOL)

hehehe I dragged out my sewing machine yesterday (it was covered in dust due to 2 years of no use!!LOL) and got some scrap material to see if I could actually MAKE a cloth nappy, and IT WORKED!!! So i ordered some proper materials and I'm gonna do my own!!!

This morning when I got up, Veygas was still asleep, so I expressed in the shower (he didn't feed through the night) and came out with 200ml which he guzzled while we had breakfast, then he had MORE about half an hour later before going back to sleep! Talk about hungry hungry hippo LOL!

Anyhoo, I'm gonna have a cuppa while Master V is asleep!

    Mwaaaaaah to all! xx

Kell - I hope Seven's cold clears up soon!!!! Its terrible to hear them snuffling and you know that they just must be feeling like crap!!!! I can't believe the wedding has come around so quickly!!!!!! You must be getting so excited!!!

MM - hmm.. as soon as I find out that they are telemarketers I hang up on them!!! LOL... except those that call at 6pm - THEN I get stuck into them about being bloody inconsiderate and friggin idiots to call at the busiest time in people's lives.. lol.. but I'm a big meanie..

rach - I can't believe someone can do that - its stupid that it costs YOU money... stupid people in the world.. grrrr..

Vic - yay for the $9!! well done

Leash - awwww I didn't know Kat was coming!!!!!! thanks for the invite !!!! And nope wasn't me that suggested thirsties, but I have one and its pretty good. BIG sizings though. Happy 3 months to jazz today!!

MT - yup. I know the newborn explosion in an itti bitti... its gross... thank GOD for the little squirt is all I can say..

MM - yay for making a nappy!!! I couldn't sew two pieces of material together to save my life.. so good on you!!!! Woot!!!!

    HAPPY THREE MONTHS JAZZ!!!!
Was just looking at your photos Leash and she is such a little cutie! I can't believe how fast they are growing up!
MT - bummer about the itti bitti blowout.... I just realised the other day I hadn't put Beth in her IBs and I thought I had better before she grew out of them! Love them though, they look soooooo cute on her. Might have to get some more!
MM - Wow, NINE kids!!!!! that is amazing. I can't even imagine it. I'm sure you could make it work though, your kids are so well behaved and I think at some point you hit critical mass, and they start helping to look after each other. We told you about our friends who had seven kids together and then decided to get married - although with nine you would beat them! And good on you for making a nappy - I'm so impressed. I have got this idea in my head I want to make a patchwork quilt but I would have to do it by hand so it will take a looooooooong time..... and I don't really know where to start
Vic - congrats on your win!
Kel - how exciting about the wedding and christening, but MAN you must be flat out!
rach - saw the drama unfolding on FB -
Mel - mwah - love ya!
Melbourne cup lunch yesterday with MG was good.... glad I didn't put a bet on though cause I would have lost! Today our walk around the bay wasn't cancelled for the first time ever and I just got back. My feet are killing me! Was pretty much pushing the pram from 9.30 until 2.00 with a half hour break for coffee! Now my friend is popping over so gonna try to rustle up something to eat quickly - I'm starving!

feeling a bit over whelmed with all the catch up reading i have to do and finding the time to do so. So anyhow its gonna be a me post.

I went to ipswich yesterday after getting off in goodna and stuffed our faced with pizza then bk on train to hospital sweat pouring off of us it was horrid. I had taken frozen EMB and funny enough it lasted whole day nicely cold. I wasnt expecting that and we just took it out shook it and the air warmed it up very quickly for feeding. I took 4 bottles with me and i ended up becoming VERY engorged and sore. Dont like BF on trains or while walking AND KNEW WE WOULD BE RUSHED FOR TIME When i got home i expressed 260 ml and fell asleep, How i manged that i dunno as i was all sticky but obviously buggered.

When we did reach hospital i was cacking myself laughing Josiah was looking left then right then left then right doing head exersizer for like ages it was SOOOOOOO FUNNY!! saw specialist surgeon and even tho it was all so quick and rushed with him and so unprivate with open cubical with just a curtain i guess i came out of there with a result i wanted and that was to go on the waiting list for an keyhole op on my knee. So i guess im happy day surgery will have to wait maybe up to 3 years tho But then again im no keen on racing in for pain either. I asked for a transfer to redcliff but was told i would have to start this process all again go on waiting list to see a surgeon and after 1 year of already waiting i was like stuff that.

Josiah was FANTASTIC ON TRAIN like sooo good he loved looking around and seeing everything moving and all the bumps and stuff. It was good me and hubbie getting out of house and NOT shopping IYKWIM.

After that we went to riverlink for late lunch and then to indoorpilly for tea and its such a nice area Indoorpily or howeva ya spell it lol than back to cab and collect kids only to find DS7 didn't eat his lunch and DS3 was a little POO POO head sooo was not impressed. Got home showed kids as they had eaten and then to today....

    WEIGH IN DAY

took joshie for his weigh in and the whole week he gained
    a whopping 220grams
she did stills that he is still under weight and he should be 560grams heavier than now.
She worked that out like this
joshie is nearly 14 weeks take 2 weeks away for the 10 percent lost at birth she said then get 150 x 12 weeks and thats how much of a gain he should have had gained 1800 in total and hasnt so he falls 560 short of that.

Either way we are happy a gain.... thats what 300-400 EBM daily and 6 feeds 2 hours does i guess thats pumping each feed time tho very tiering indeed!!!!!

I bought a BBQ online in ebay and a toy the mega blocks juke box that toys sooo cool hehehehe and the bbq looks great too, got an electric one yay it's a lot bigger than ones in shops thats for sure.
welll Joshie is cracking the poops and that mean i pretty much have to go. I did tho this week get to cook with DD we made
1.5 batches of pasion fruit scones
    1 batch of chili scones
    1 batch of rock cakes
1 batch of cream cheese scones
    1 batch of carrot muffins
one batch of mudcake muffins too all in one go i was soooo tired after all of that.
finally now i can post this then ill go get kids well park car and wait as its pouring with rain car bays fill up quick at school will try to do personals later.
