Holy crap MM !!!! Far out!!!!! I'm glad he got out ok!!!!
If you need anything - give me a "hoy" ok?

Beck - do you want to catch up sometime since we are both on the coast? I dont' work on tuesdays or wednesdays so can catch up either of those days.

Vic - its funny you say she's long - I compared her stats to DS when he was 4 months, and he was 1.3kg heavier than she is - and just 1cm longer... now he's on the 50% percentile for height and weight - so he's a normal toddler now.. I'm expecting huge growth from both of them - DH grew 5 inches one summer when he was in high school - came back the highest kid in the class (he's 6 foot 7)... yup... I'm always going to be the shortest in my little family!!!!

OOh baby crying.. think its the toddler..

    Thanks guys!

It was work's truck. I think he said that something punctured the tyre (there are lots of road works along the coast between Sydney and Brisbane), the wheel caused sparks to fly up which ignited the fuel tank.

I'm glad he got out OK too. I'm a little bit in shock - it'll probably really hit me once he gets home. His work are gonna give him a ute or something to drive home (thankfully we have spare car keys! The joys of a new car!) He didn't want me to pick him up, although he hasn't slept in over 24 hours now, and I think he was too tired to understand that I could bring his spare keys, and he was too tired for me to argue with him (he gets VERY stubborn when he is tired!)

Apparently his work is gonna compensate him for all the lost stuff too. Obviously, they are not making him work tonight

    would like to join

Hello ladies! Would like to join you. My Daughter Ekaterina was born on 6th August (she was due on 5th - so we did pretty well). She is BF, but already a week we eating carrots and couple days introduced zukini. She LOVES it, even greezles when I stop givig a spoon and very happy I give it to her again. We got our second immunisation yesterday - was not too bad, but still a lot of crying (together with me). Almost forgot to introduce myself: my name is Alesia, we are from Perth.
    wish you all good evening!

Ahh well, it'll all be better tomorrow I'm sure..

    Beck - good stats

MM - I'm so glad he is ok - I'm sure the shock will hit you guys later for all of you

As I said above - DD had a crap day today - she has slept for about 2.5 hours the entire day - and that was from 11ish to just past 2ish... just managed to get her to go to sleep now (had to give her an extra bit of a bottle to persuade her!!!)

It'll be better tomorrow - when I'm at work!!! lol

Alesia- Welcome Thats great she loves solids big hugs for the immunisation tears

Squidipa- Just want to say you have done so well to BF Josh as long as you did and WOW WOW WOW what a busy little growing boy he has been.

Mel- LOL I'm looking forward to going back to work it's a good day off from the kids. for having a crappy day

beckoes- I find that Allegra is the same now really doesn't like laying down she tries so hard to raise her head and sit up. LOL at looking at herself in the mirror must be a girl thing.

Sasha- I keep teling you you've got a sports star in the making

the pixie- Beth looks so happy in the Bumbo I might have to get one. Where do you get them?

Vic- ggggrrr about the phone call how did you go with 3? Well done miss N on your weight gain

MT- I totally agree with the short attention thing. I sing to ALlegra as well and she just laughs at me as if to say what ever mum!

I'm so happy now I have become really strict on a routine Allegra is now sleeping from 10:30 to 8am most mornings YAY! And she is now 100% bottle fed I have tried to BF but she gags and refuses the boob.
I'm so excited we're going to be renovating the house soon (just waiting on the stupid builder to contact us ) Our house is going to double in size I'll get a large loungre room with 2 extra bedrooms so it will be a 5 bedroom house and possibly have a new massive kitchen to I nearly burnt the kitchen down twice this week due to my stupid baby brain. Oh and we were talking about if I accidently fell pregnant and DF said yeah after the reno we would have the room for another baby I replied with an excited really but he said it's not going to happen

Alesia! My name is Amanda and my baby boy Jett was born on the 6th August also. He was due on the 6th too so we both did very well

MM - OMG! how scary! I hope DP is ok, he must have been quite shaken. What was he hauling?

Mel - Poor Miss M. Poor you with having a crappy day with while you are not at work!

Bec - sounds like Grace is growing just nicely. Jett is the same with the bouncer. Our pram is ok, I have it sitting up enough that he can look around, but he also loves the sling too. Photo

Vic - Did you say hello twice? If you only say hello once and no one answers, just hang up. If it is someone you know they will call back again. Those things are just awful. Fantastic growth N!! You are a star!

Pixie - you have one very intelligent little girl there!! Helping you change her nappies, Jett now won't straighten his legs at all so sometimes changing a nappy can take a good 20mins!! Loves hanging on to his toes instead, but he can still do it with his nappy on so I don't get it!!

Sasha - What a fit little bub Kye is going to be with aerobics, yoga and swimming! Must take after his Mum!! How was yoga?

No news here - Jett had his first poo in a week last night. Peanut butter poo everywhere, but not as explosive as the last one. At least we weren't going out this time, just trying to go to bed. I was expecting more poos today, but they haven't come so who knows when the next one will be!! He's been clinging to me all afternoon, won't let me put him down, but I have no idea why. Just going with it!!!

ETA - Kel - Keep wearing him down.... maybe he'd like a son Yay on the renos!! Come on builder - ring!!

Rach - I know what you mean about the poo... I was nervously waiting all week too!!

    thnx girls!
Oh well, I was hoping for a better day after injecion, but not my story. I guess it can be worse, but my pumpkin is sleepy all day plus greezling, nothing makes her smile - poor thing plus, I think we got high tempreture, she is not so hot to measure it (to be honest hate mesuring temreture - it starts to worry more then it could worth). But shot of Panadol was sent. I am not looking forward to this night, though Katyusha been sleeping through nights since she is 2 m.o. I guess I better go to bed to be prepared for bad night.
Wow, I see a lot of mums already came back to work - it must be really exhausting!
    Girls, who introduced solids already?
Do you wrap your babies? I wrap her exclusivly at nights, tried to go through unwrapping, but failed very badly. She kept waking up every couple hours, so I decided she is not ready - wraped her and we keep sleeping through nights as we have before. Well, I hope she will give me signs when she will be ready.

We ment to have injection on 10th, but husband called them and made appointment at different day (probably he did it that i would not have time to start worring, considering that first injection was a horror for me lol, I had to wait outside of the room). This time it was not as bad, but still - nothing pleasant. Just get it over and done with - would be better if someone would go with you. And yes, better introduce solids after at least 10 days.
Here you can create a ticker: Lilypie : Free Baby stuff

WE had issues with poopy too. Once a week. But then when we started to eat solids, we poo every 2-3 days. And it's a hell of sincky poop Well, your own baby's poop is not so bad Everything will be fine, as long as it doesnt worry your bub!
