I was changing the sheets on all the beds earlier, and remembered that Kaliah has been totally dry in the mornings for about 2 weeks now, so I am going to eliminate the night time pullups!! :cheer: Now I just need to get Khaemon to show some interest in toilet training :rolleyes: He knows that everyone else (except the baby of course!) uses the toilet and alot of times he'll come in with any one of use (the other kids included!) but when we say "Khaemon go to the toilet?" he laughs and says no! But he'll name all of us and say that we go! Oh well, I'm sure he'll come around :crossfingers:

MM.... Just a quick question do you find it cafuffling when ya say Kaliah and Khaemon. I find with two kids with a B letter i say the wrong names all the time so was just curious. My mother has 5 kids and we were always some one else when she was calling for us hehe Good luck with the bed wetting i still got a 7 year old wetting bed but 3 year olds great

Yeah, sometimes I get their names muddled ... my grandmother had 4 kids and 8 grandkids - sometimes we'd even get called the animals names before she got ours right!! :cryinglaugh: But atm, I am getting everyone's names confused!! :doh:

Our eldest was still in night time pullups til he was nearly 6 - I got sick of having to buy 3 lots of nappies, so I forced him to become dry at night!! We had two weeks of bedwetting, then nothing since! Same thing now - I'm sick of buying 3 lots of nappies again!! :rolleyes:

i have never had 2 kids in nappies before man that would cost me to much. Once had pullups every fortnight and at 15 a week we felt that cost. the 7 year old sleeps through everything thats the problem you could poor water on him a night and he would stay asleep he is EXTREAMLY heavy on his sleep!

I got the two eldest kids to cook tea again the otehr day they done the salad and we had meat pies, well they ate and i didnt. Tonight they have steaming now
carrot
cabbage
beans
cauliflower Would have cooked otehr things but ran out of water a we have to cook with filtered water and there wasnt enough.

on stove pumpkin, kumera, and patato. we have left over hot dogs so we will just throw it with that. Felt we needed to eat a proper meal. But thought why waist the hot dogs in fridge as other wize ill throw em out. So thought fine thats the meat tonight. I got Josiah to self settle gee i hate that but it did work. kids are infront of tv dinner on hubbie at work house dont look so great but meh. I still smell Its cause Josiah likes to get inside my robe and it makes em all hot. Tomorrow is the last of my so called full on week then its just 4 again int he house. As for sleep cant see that changing. Might try to get lushy to watch josh and i shower tonight.

the silly creepy crawlys had the bomb again grrr. Saturday we are testing water anyhow so will take it back to shop. This is the longest silence ive had during the day in sooooooo long!!:clap:

Thought it was about time I got my A into G and came back to post.

Sorry I have MIA - just been pre-occupied with settling in at home. The days are just going by so quickly, I am really losing track on what day it even is at the moment LOL

I really laugh when I think back to when I was pregnant how easy it was and how much spare time I had - boy does ya world change once they arrive hey hehe but I am thoroughly enjoying mummy hood. Couldnt imagine my life without my little man now, has brought so much joy into our lives!

We had our first check up today and I am happy to say that Kye has gained 290 grams :hooray:
I am so pleased with that amount. He is obviously feeding well :cryinglaugh: He is also half a centimetre longer (55cm) and his HC has gone to 38.5cm :)

He is already in size 000 LOL and the nurse today said he wont be in NB nappies for much longer. LOL He is a very LONG boy so I am assuming he is going to be very tall like daddy.(daddy is 6ft 4) Kye is actually 1.5 centimetres longer than what DH was at birth so will be interesting to see how tall he ends up being as an adult.

Anyways just a quick one from me tonight - gotta go and get the man settled.

I'll attempt to make a more conscious effort to get back here more often but yeah I am still around.

Josiah still has the snuffles nights are worst another night on couch with him trying to keep him up right, Didn't want to wake everyone else up so think it's better to stay in lounge. I kept checking his nappy over night but it was fine not anything in hours and hours. he didn't feed either for about 8 or 9 hours but slightly woke due to the nose i put soother in and he was happy. Didn't want to wake him as figured he could do with a good sleep as he had not had much. Feed him to over flowing this morning. One side of me was all moo juiced wet and the other hard as.

Avent breast pads any one using the washable ones??? i find they stick to my nipple at times grrr anyone else got this issue?

I so wish the 3 year old didnt get up at 5am GRRRRRR i could be sleeping now !!

sasha - glad things are going well (soo hear you on the being busy now vs being pregnant and sitting around LOL!!) and your little man has stolen your heart :)

I can't believe Eli is three weeks old today... time is flying by! He's starting to get quite heavy too.

I'm sleeping well, he wakes up like clockwork every 3 hours overnight and feeds for about 15-20 mins and then straight back to sleep which is awesome. Getting him to go to bed earlier without being so grizzly so I've been having more time in the evenings with DH which is nice.

squidipa, I'm about to try using washable breast pads, had a spare pack of disposables to use and sometimes they stuck to my nipples which was uncomfortable. Did you manage to get your shower in?

kiwi girl... I love those disposable ones pigeon i think is the brand off the top of my head. Yeah i had a bath last night was good got to shave my hairy legs hehe:pray:.

Today i done up a rewards chart for the 3 year old and also hung a load of washing out. watched some movie with the 3 year old too. and now its lunch time then his bed time.

with all the savings i gotta do i am so glad that Christmas shopping is over and fathers day shopping the ex is getting a lava lamp that the kids picked out and as for hubbie well if your really interested ill pm ya as i dont want hubbie to find out from my posting. Question how much you guys think is right to pend on your partner for fathers day? and also for Christmas thats the only other thing for Christmas i need to do buy fr the ex from the kids and also for hubbie and him for me. Im already looking forward to christmas but not putting up my tree its so darn HUGEEE its 7ft

Things here have been.. hectic ... think i am struggling a bit with PND and trying not to let it take hold, so have been keeping busy doing other things. Went and got a new pram today so that was good. Needed a new pram cos going to the Hyatt tonight with workmates for a farewell dinner, and couldn't take my crappy old pram hehe

Squidipa - let me know if you want me to come down and visit you and we can have crappy sleepless days together ;)

Vic - I have two newborn MCN's here that don't fit DD anymore. Let me know if you would like them and I'll post them to you for your wee little one :) Would be good to see someone get some use out of them!!!! (I don't think they would fit my next bub either cos I brew them up pretty big!!)

Lol thats funny yeah wanna meet you as ive said so many times don't really know any one here.
I bathed both the boys today together and feeling quite impressed with myself and happy I WAS! then these 3 random men came to my door one man looked like he was totally trippin. They came back again with stupid q's Sorta rattled me a bit being at home alone and hubbie never answered his phone when i rang to check if he had it. He has one flat phone on him and other phone didnt answer.
Any how Josiah rather be in my arms in bath than on his safety ramp thingy support bath gadget waste of money scientifically proven device chair thing.

Hehe, yeah we don't use the bath safety ramp holder thingy in the bath either squidipa.

Eli's broken out in heaps of teeny pimples - apparently it happens around 3-4 weeks due to hormones. Anyone else had this?

Been really interesting here :lol:

Yesterday was a shocker, Naktia was soooo unsettled, hanging off my boob (when she has been pretty regular on a routine-ish for a few weeks), I was in tears by the time DH got home, was a bit too much! He took Nakita for a big walk in the carrier, I went to the shops went to the chemist, got some stuff from Brauers "Stomach Calm" and "Colic Relief", we gave her a half an hour bath, topping up the warm water, gave her the stuff (1ml avery half hour for the first 4 doses) then four hourly, and she finally went to sleep, let her sleep until she was ready to wake, gave her a bottle of EBM - she drank very slowly (poor little tike, think she was stilled buggered), DH looked after her i went to bed to get up for her next feed, 3:45am she was up, both boobs, Tummy Stuff and back to bed, awake a 6:45am, gave her to daddy for 20 min while I ran around the hosue getting a few things done, since then she has fed on her routine to the minute!!! She settled much better today and now she has a much happier mummy!!! I have bought a container of formula incase, but I returned it today :redface: as we could only get S26 - she had it in WCH but only through the gavage tube so never tasted it unless she chucked! Then at NECH she had Pre-Naan, you can't buy it though, and she did have a couple of top ups with a bottle after her gavage tube was removed, the rest was top-ups to the Boob and or EBM through the tube. So if I will get some more it will be the Naan, only because she has tasted it and gone back to my boob - bit scared of her preferring it over the boob!!! But at the moment we aren't worrying about any of it. I was also borderline using the dummy for the first time since being home - we used it in hossy once when we were removing the IV, it helped keep her calmer and she didn't burn up as much energy, the other times we used it was when teaching her to suck, so when we gavage fed her she had the dummy to associate sucking and getting a fully tummy. Since then we have a dummy free zone (well we actually have 5 :rofl:) - were given 3, but they are all large, and I bought a packet of premmie ones JIC, sterlised them but never used them.....

Still 00000 here.... she is getting bigger, just not big enough for the 0000 yet!!

Oh yeah, the concrete floors are polished - yay - will post some piccies on my blog at some stage over the weekend, the started the frame work today too :dance:

Mel - if you really don't think you would use the MCN's I would love them!! I can't wait for her to get big enough to get into the ones we have, they should be perfect in about 2 months!!! Rachel - Nakita had a heat rash, which seems to have subsided with the stuff we have given her since yesterday, and she has also had a lot of little pimples too, some days it looks bad other days clear as.... must be hormonal I reckon. How big is Eli??

Squidipa - I won't be thinking about christmas for a while yet, as for fathers day, NFI ATM!!

Hyatt was OK last night, was good seeing my old workmates again and having a slice of yummy pizza. DS just wanted to run around everywhere so DH was kept busy chasing him all night (seriously, he was never at the table at all) whilst I dealt with DD and chatted to my boss' wife. Spoke to one of the solicitors there as well (I'm a legal secretary btw) and she told me of a position that they are holding open for me for when I get back. So only another 8 weeks and I'll be back at work. Don't know whether I want the position or not, or if I will request another position there (basically I just get whatever I want) so lots to think about. Course its all dependent on whether I get DD into daycare cos if I don't - yup can't work!!!!!!

I think we are going to sell our house too... so gotta start cleaning that up and painting walls etc (specially the one that had a hole in it the other day from the plumber!)

Hi everyone,

Can do some personals today YAY! Jazz is having a wonderful sleep so I have time to do my own thing!

She is sleeping great lately. Only waking twice during the night to feed and then falls back to sleep relatively easily YAY! She wakes every 3 hours pretty much on the dot during the night, so if I time her last feed around 10pm and then go to sleep then, I only have to wake around 1am and then again at 4am, and then up at 7am which suits me fine. No more of these awake between 1 and 4 games she used to play YAY! She's having those awake times during the day now so I am feeling a whole lot more rested, and not getting so frustrated and exhausted at night.

squidipa... if I wasnt so wrecked I'd come give you a hand :hug: I'm sorry you don't have any support. At the moment all Shel and I have is each other, we have family around but they only come around for half and hour or so to pass Jazz around until she gets the *****s and then cries, and then everyone decides to leave us to settle her down. Though its just us 3, I can't imagine how exhausted you must be with your kids + bub, I can just remember how tired you were while pregnant. Sending Josh marathon sleeping vibes! Hope he gives you a long stretch during the night some time soon. I am thinking of you :hug:
I have the same issue with the breast pads Avent washable, keep sticking to my nipples, usually not a big problem except when Jazz has a mnoster moment and chomps down, and then they are sore and pulling the breast pad off hurts a little!

Rachel - congrats on the new car, how exciting! Good luck on expressing! Jazz has completely broken out in little pimples all over her face and head, I started freaking out the she was having an allergic reaction though i can't for the life of me work out to what!

Mel - :hugs: Not surely exactly what to offer, but if you can think of something I can do for you just ask k.

MM - Jazz tried too feed from Shel if Shel has cuddles when Jazz is hungry! Absolutely hilarious! LOL, well I think so! Jazz also sucks on shoulders when she is hungry, and her hand. Sometimes she makes out like shes starving and makes sucking motions when theres nothing near her mouth, like shes saying "i'm so hungry i'll eat air"!

Sasha - Definately hear you on the losing track of days, I am still doing that! Can't believe its almost September holy moly where did August go? Haha, its crazy how much time I had while pregnant, and now I can barely find time to shower! I am craving a long hot bath but just can't seem to find the time.

squidipa you are taling about christmas already! I am barely thinking about next week! Shel gets fathers day in our house, so I'm trying to work out what to get her. She gets fathers day (which will be another mothers day of course lol) because everything she likes goes on special at fathers day time, and asme goes for me at the mothers day time. Theres a stranley screwdriver set on special at big w $30 which will do her fine from Jazz! And maybe something small, some car wash stuff. All up I'd say $40-50.
Oh, and the meetup at Landsborough, you should definately come if you are up for it.

Oh bugger, there goes the little miss! Well, I can feed and scroll at the same time I think... she is due to feed on the right though, and I am a dodgy left hand scroller with the mouse!

Hey, just a question, having an issue with my boobs lol. Well, am lopsided something shocking though midwife said thats completely normal, but as well as that am having some issues with one boob going out of order every now and then. I try to express but my left boob just doesn't give anything up and sometimes I am not sure if she gets much out of it! It's so much smaller and softer, though it leaks a bit too so I know it works. Has anyone else had this? Is there anything I can do or will it just fix itself up? Oh, and theres no pain or redness or lumps. It just stops sometimes... very odd.

Well we had another shocker last night, but now I think i know the cause ... Veygas has a hole in his stomach and his bowel is poking through ... doc says not causing too much trouble cause he poked at it and was able to make it go back in (with a bit of squelchy noise) but I reckon that's why he's been so grizzly and windy :( I feel horrible for being so grumpy with him. So now he is sleeping (which he needs) but I still have to get it fully checked out by a paediatric surgeon at Westmead.

As for dummies, Veygas doesn't really like to suck on it, but sometimes I make him, especially if he has had a big feed and is just mucking around with my boob! :cryinglaugh:

Sorry for being selfish and not really getting into personals, but I am just trashed atm, cause I sat up most of the night with Veygas, and when he finally fell asleep, I was too scared to move in case he woke up again!

Hope everyone else is doing good though!

Eli has a mild temperature and was unsettled for the first time last night. Poor little guy. He's happy at the moment but might be a long night if his temp goes up a bit. Doctor checked him out and said he thinks it's just a little virus.

MM - sorry to hear that about Veygas... no wonder he has been so unsettled. Hope it can get sorted out quickly.
Beema - yeah the crack addict eyes are a great look! NOT! LOL
We had a similar thing four or five days ago, with DD REALLY unsettled and just hanging off the boob. Problem was, the more she drank the more unsettled she got. In the end we put the dummy in... we were sorry to do it, but we couldn't see any other way to settle her without making it worse. She took a while to figure out what she is supposed to do with it but once she caught on that she was meant to suck on it, it did really help.
Leash, good to hear your little one is having a good sleep at last. Bugger about the lopsided BB's - don't know what to suggest!
Mel, I can't believe you're going back to work so soon - I hope you have internet access at work! LOL

That's what we'll find out from the paed surgeon at westmead ... but the doc i saw today said it's a simple 20 min op if it is necessary. I still feel bad, like there's something i could have done to prevent it, even though know there isn't :(

MM i am so sorry to hear about Veygas when is your appointment? Dont feel bad thats like saying i should feel bad about Josiah's Tight forskin its nothing i did wrong nor nothing you did wrong. Plus we are going through massive hormonal changes and we mums get tiered and moody a bit easily :) :hug::hug:. I have broken out in pimples wow havn't had them in ages. Josiahs pead appointment with surgeon is on Tuesday.

Leasha... thats great your getting more sleep. i slept till 10 am this morning bu then was woken by woman at door. Josiah has sorta skipped a night feed so he gets one about 10 and 5ish. Wonder if thats due to his stuffed up nose poor little man. He is stirring now!

last night at about 12.30 i went to BED! yes in my bed, first time in what feels like forever. I hate the couch put josh in pram in a semi upright position next to me.

went to dr today josh got weighed gained he has put on 70 grams since 22nd is this alright????? is this normal that only 300 grams up from birth weight. Hrmmm thoughts im quite worried about this. the stupid nurse tried to weigh him fully dressed with a full nappy the twit! We got it done right in the end.

Me and hubbie are on antibiotics for our sinus and chesty coldy fluy thing hope fully some will get to josh and make him all good too. Dr dismissed my cramping tummy said take anti inflammatorys for it he didnt even check my SCAR hrmmm. gotta go back in 2 days after i insisted on blood test for iron level. WiIll hopefully see another dr.

I been on phone for ages with my BEST MATE and im a bit ticked not with him but the way ppl treat him is gay and there is some so called friends trying to tell him other wize and force this female onto him their daughter infact. Its driving him bonkers that they just don't get it i think its VERY crewl to do that and im so annoyed!

Done a star reward chart for the 3 year old seems to be making some diff with behavior. Altho this morning he did try to make sandwiches so we will put a barrier up tonight to block kitchen off and see if that works.

Leasha i don't know what to suggest about the lop sided ness in pregnancy i found i was lop sided and still am now.

I got 2 new maternity bra's today a slightly padded on black from target and a lace white on too leasha did ya end up get new maternity bra's i think ay said you were going to.

squidipa - glad you got some antibiotics into you, weird the dr didn't check your scar... sounds like you're getting more on top of things too which is awesome :) Did the midwife say anything about the 70g? Have no idea what is normal or not with growth amounts.

Leasha - glad Jazz is getting better with her sleeping! I saw your photos in the gallery - so cute!! I haven't had the lopsided boobs but I find it's kinda nice and reassuring when midwives say this is completely normal and nothing to worry about. Father's Day... unlike me DH isn't a big one for set days like birthdays etc he prefers things done on random days... but I think I might buy him some lego from Eli - he has been collecting it for when he's older and pretesting it hehe but we haven't got any in a while cos it costs a bit.

Mel - let me upload a pic of Eli in cloth today :) Keep forgetting!! Will you move areas if you sell your place?

Vic Eli's getting weighed and measured tomorrow.. at 17 days he was 4.99kg!! I'm guessing 5.4kg for tomorrow. He's getting heavy. Not sure about length.. maybe 59cm?

Eli's fever has gone but he's still a bit unsettled - fed every 2 hours last night and today... hopefully he's goes back to 3 hours tonight! That one hour makes a big difference.

Omg I cant believe that two weeks has passed already. Seems like just yesterday I was thinking of ways to bring on my labour.... lmao

MM - I am hearing ya on shocker nights. I've had a couple lately. The whole day yesterday too was a bit of a write off aswell. Kye just would not settle and in the end we figured out it was cause he had wind. Poor fella, here we are thinking he's hungry but no had a real bad bout of colic. I went to the chemist and got a bottle of 'Infants Friend' and boy did it make a difference. He only woke twice during the night to feed and even had a 4 hour block which is so not like him. He settled awesomely well afterwards too, yay!! I am slowly starting to get a routine happening one which is allowing me to get some more sleep which is always a good thing!

KG - sorry to hear Eli has a temperature :hug:

Squidipa - 70grams doesnt seem like alot for just over a week. I would be checking with your MW and seeing what they say.

I am changing Kye onto 'infant' nappies. He has already outgrown the newborn size!! Havent even been through one of the three boxes I got so have put them on ebay :lol: hopefully someone will buy em (put them on for $25 a box which I thought was reasonable) Have also put on a few of his 0000 Bonds suits which he has already grown out of but yeah they havent sold :(

Anyways time for me to eat while the man is sleeping, I am starving!!

Good afternoon Mums and Bubs

I got a screaming headache :( So am going to try and keep this short.... :rofl:

Hmm up at 7, feed and change bubs, friend arrived at 8am, we went to the markets at 8:30am took Nakita for her first trip to the markets, got a heaps of fresh fruit and vegies and free ranges eggs, came home, cooked bacon, eggs and hashbrowns - well started my friend had to help as I needed to feed again.

Finished feeding now I am on BB for a few minutes!!! Half an hour until next feed so need to dry some clothes, stack the dishwasher, clean pump equipment, shields, and hopefully have a shower, hoping Nakita sleeps after the next feed then I can work!! A friend is having birthday drinks but I can't be bothered today, we had a big catchup with them last week so just gonna hang at home...

Squidipa, don't stress too much about the weight gain, it can be very up and down, as long as you have a lot of wet and pooey nappies, Josiah is settled, then just keep going hun, ring the nurse if you are worried, they may jsut get you to bring him in for another weigh in a bit closer together this time. Nakita only put on 80 grams this last week, and I am not worried, will weigh her again in another week and a half and if it hasn't gone up by a good figure then we will go from there. :hugs:

Nakita has been more settled, although not at this minute, the hiccups get her really upset for little tike, she really hates them!!!

The Pixie, do you only use the dummy after a feed to settle her? I am terrified of giving Nakita a dummy as I don't want her to get addicted :lol: but I hear you with the hanging off the boob!!! There is a limit to how long we can stay attached!!

Hooray for sleep Leasha!!! My boobs are lopsided, plus I always get more from the left than the right, one had always been slightly bigger than the other - pretty normal I think

Squidipa, don't stress too much about the weight gain, it can be very up and down, as long as you have a lot of wet and pooey nappies, Josiah is settled, then just keep going hun, ring the nurse if you are worried,

there is 4 nappies a day abouts and very rairly are they fully wet. I rang the child health clinic to try to talk to nurse but obviously being Sunday nothing left a message. I then rang 13 health talked to nurse whoms aid i honestly dont know about baby birth weights so he gave me a number to call. The number was uselss as it wasnt for my area couldnt get through.


Kiwi girl... the dr was blinking useless. he said go see the nurse in next room to be weighed. The nurse tried to weigh baby fully dressed:wall: and i said no i want it done properly as he has a tongue tie and want to be sure he is feed correctly. They did the weight and she walked off i asked her to write it in back of book with other weights and she did but said nothing. In a rush with the 3 year old playing up we left as nurse was busy with another patient and walked off. Got home and looked in back off book. then this morning relaised hang on there was a check up in the book where they wrote his weight on the 22nd that was this morning when i realised and calculated crap thats not much of a gain:wall:. So no midwife didnt even add anything up she just walked off.:rolleyes:

SASHA.. i would return the box's of unused nappies to shop where ya got them from they will give you store credit for what ever the amount is they are at at time of return if u dont have a receipt. Once i bought 2 full boxes at a garage sale and returned then to big w and got 60 for them when i only paid 5 each good hey. The lady said im intitaled do do that they cant refuse me.

Joshie is restless i guess it could be the antibiotics. For some reason me and hubbie are more sick today than yesterday strange. I have folded about 5 loads of washing today and all the 3 years stuff in cupboard. i have pulled out his size 2's and 1 items and bagged them up for josh. Along with all the new ebay stuff we got. sorted in sizes and bagged them up with a lable. I did one lo bought it back in MAY and still have not done it. i LOVE my new bra its fabulous i have defenetly needed it if i am getting this exited about it hey.:dance:

I am very very very unimpressed with a 70 gram weight increasement none of the other kids were like that so it brings up questions???? are i not feeding him enough? he still has a funny nose poor man. And has been skipping the early morning feed. this is not uncomon as by 8 week all the kids skipped that early morning feed. He does wake but just wants a quick suckle of the dummie. He eats most often on average 2 -3 times in 3 hours.

Since we've cut back on the length of the feeds, we've started using the dummy to settle her as her appetite is clearly much bigger than her stomach can handle!

We're also using it if we need to delay a feed, so if we're out somewhere and it isn't convenient to BF and she's woken up and starting letting us know that she is hungry then we'll let her have the dummy to let her start sucking on something and stay calm.

We're trying to limit the time that she has it, as it's not something that we're keen on either...

Squidipa - Don't panic over the weight gain, some weeks they will grow heaps, and some they will go backwards. Remember that a feed will weigh >80g so the weights are only accurate +/- 100g or so.

Thanks the Bear :) We will keep going the way we are at the moment, but I would be interested to hear how you go, I have spoken to DH about your methods too and we are going to keep it in mind, I have a couple of premmie dummies which would do the job should we need them!

Squidipa, I change Nakita 6-7 times a day, usually halfway through a feed, (as she gets a bit worked up if I do it before, chucks up if I do it after, and she usually poos not long after waking or partway through a feed, so saves me getting sprayed with poo or wizz :rofl:) I would say of those nappies 6 out of 7 are pooee, about the same wet, some not very wet, maybe just 1-2 are very wet. she has 7 feeds on average a day... Our MW if very happy with this number and variety!!

You mentioned wetness but not poo? If there isn't much poo, perhaps he is constipated? What are his legs doing, does he bring them up to his chest, perhaps windy? Sorry for the million questions just trying to see what could be happening.

Also when was Josiah weighed the last two times, before or after feeds, also how wet/pooey was his nappy before each weigh-in, just wondering if he had just emptied his bowels before the second weighin and not the first (can make a pretty huge difference. I wouldn't be too concerned though about the figure itself, just more about whether his bowels etc are working well or at least the same as they were previously with the larger weight gains. Sometimes bubs will poo and wee more than others so doing comparisons can be misleading as well.

Well off to make a cuppa and cut up some bun as I hear little miss starting to stir right on for her 4pm feed - gee she's a good alarm clock!!!

hey vic thanks for your post dadda is doing bom change so gotta type quick .... he does do poo's every bom change pretty much so. Normally weigh in has been 1 hour or more after feed.

Vic- LMAO about being sprayed wth pooee and wee I haven't experienced that one yet *knocks on wood* I saw the new pictures of Nakita she is soooo adorable

The bear and Pixie- Allegra has been doing the same thing over eating and spewing it back up. Is there a trick to get bubs to take a dummy? Allegra will suck but then spit it out I have tried two different shapes of dummy and both get the same result spat out or she dry reaches.

Sasha- HAPPY 2 WEEKS how funny is it that we have the same milestones again HAHA. I can't believe he is in infant nappies already!!!

Kiwigirl- I hope you get longer breaks between feeds

Allegra is the best baby she is now sleeping through the night we go to bed around 11 then she wakes up and 5am Cadence was a wake up every hour baby!
Does anyone elses baby do the noisiest pooee's? OMG Allegra cracks me up I never knew such a big noise could come from such a little person :rofl:

Kel - She was a little reluctant at first, the trick seems to be fool her into thinking it's genuine...hold her as though she is BF, warm the dummy, even express a little milk onto it...if she is dry retching then chances are then it's gone under her tongue.

And we're with you on the noisy bowels...the wake up routine starts with a good stretch, then the sound of the nappy filling that can be heard from the other end of the flat...finally the eyes open and the search for the next meal starts.

Hmm...home made english muffins and seville orange and calvados marmalade this afternoon....what to make for dinner?

Kel, maybe the dummy is too big? make sure it's a 0-3 month one? and yeah we have been holding it in her mouth until she tries sucking on it.... And how lucky are you with Allegra sleeping through! you must be loving it! What a great baby!
Beth's nappies are always pooey - every time I change them which I guess is about 8 times a day? Today when I was undressing her for a bath she actually hadn't pooed in her nappy which was the first one in ages... mind you she pooed on the change table straight after so she made up for it LOL!
We weighed DD again today she is up to about 4.2kg so i think that is another 400gm from the last time we weighed her. I think she had her 3 week growth spurt a bit early because she was a bit overdue.
Squidipa all the books say as long as they are going through plenty of nappies and putting on weight (i think even if it's a small amount) then it's all good. You would worry if they were losing weight. But if you're still worried maybe you should find another doctor.
Had a lovely sleep this afternoon thanks to the Bear :) and the homemade muffins were amazing too when I woke up.
Still very snotty though, this cold is a shocker.

hey kel, yeah coping a bit better sleep helps so much but weekend is over so back to no sleeping so hrmmm. Josiah does the loudest noises to me and bubbles crack up laughing haha. As for the dummie we use the avent 0-3 months and it's the flat orthodontic type i put breast milk on the teat and i wriggled it a bit in the mouth and held him close and he started to suck. How you going with the balancing sweet???

Yep its 2:00am I woke up thinking Kye would only do 3 hours but hooray it is stretching out to 4 hours, so happy!! He has been quite broken in his sleep patterns the past couple of days so 4 hours is a huge deal to me!! Have had two pieces of toast with marmite and am drinking a Milo while I wait for him to wake up. I dont think it will be long as I can hear him stiring at the moment.

Squidipa - I managed to sell my NB nappies. Money was deposited yesterday so yay, $50.00 for me - gotta be the easiest cash I ever got :lol: I also sold my nappy stacker too as I've been finding its just a PITA hanging on the wardrobe door. I have the nappies on the change table shelf at the front instead, much easier and less hassle!

Kel - you're so lucky Allegra is sleeping from 11pm till 5am. One day I know we will get there too hehe

Took Eli into my work today, everyone wanted a cuddle and he was so well-behaved and happy :) He went back to his old routine of waking every 3:15 last night (yay!) and he seems back to himself totally again.

I can wear two of my old jeans and am LOVING it :D I have some others I need to lose more weight to wear, but they were too tight for me when I got pregnant with Eli anyways. Cant remeber think it was MM whoms aid that the antibiotics made bubs restless thats exactly whats going on here.
I got 3 parcels today and one i had to go collect. the collected thing was papers to sign legal stuff. I got my planetarium today, My sister send me a whole lot of stuff like..
Towel and bibs and this awesome 3 piece cream thick size 0 outfit Reeboks and other shoes and more clothes. One of my favorites is a sailors costume in Royal velvet with matching hat:)

I sent some pics of to the family today so cant wait for them to get them. hardly had anytime with hubbie today. Oh yeah and the last parcel was something i got in deals direct for christmas for DD ist a make your own beaded watch. Got my medicare card to but Josh has his own card as there is just to many of us haha. he is EXTRA special!
Hubbies making sure im getting all my antibiotics so that GREAT think in end might do bubs good as his snot this morning was greenish.

Kel good on ay being back in ya jeans. due to loosing 10 kilo already my boobs dropped down to 16C oh bugger but doesn't mater i must be like 14 up top of body and a 16 on hips the last lot of weight is there. its not budging but i am not exactly trying. Hubbie is dropping weight good hey Good on him i am so proud of him. I can put my old pants on but cant do them up. I hate this sagging sausage i got hanging of the bottom of my tummie. I guess ya gotta expect that after 4 kid and if ya dont work out with 3 c sections hey :(

Josh is wide eyes and laying in bouncer grr the 3 year old got snapped playing int hat today. Does any of your kids play up REAL BAD under ya nose when your on phone??? GRR the 3 year old does. Oh josh is upset now gotta go see doesnt take long. bet eh just wants a huggle

Rachel - Eli is so cue in his fuzzbunz!! :)

I can fit into both pairs of jeans I own! Bit of overhang, but it's not uncomfortable - it just looks bad!! lol!

Veygas is just about to move up to infant size nappies (can't believe he was in newborns this long!!) but we still had about 1/4 of a box of newborns so I'm making him wait a few more days! :p

We have the paed surgeon appt next Monday, in the meantime, an abdo u/s on Wednesday ... he hasn't done a poo since yesterday morning (poor thing woke up covered in it, so it must have been quite explosive!) and the hernia is feeling a little harder today - it actually had popped back in yesterday, but alas, out again today :( I hate dosing him up, but the panadol is keeping him settled and helping him sleep - he is going for 3.5 - 4 hours at a time between feeds, day and night! But most of his awake time is pretty whingy atm, which I can understand, but it's hard to try and get everything done with him constantly attached to me :rolleyes:

Anyway, must scoot, he's unsettled and crying again ... hopefully bbl to catch up on more personals!

I wish you all the best with scan and next monday. my appointment is tomorrow i hope no i sorta feel like it has to be done a Slip so hope he see's that too. or else i will always be worried what if it dont work properly in adult hood!

josh sleep's and feeds constant after 8pm till 5 every 4 hours abouts but during day its not constant sleep or feeds. its a bit everywhere. recently at 10 i force a feed on him and he sleeps til 5am but he does wake for few seconds dummie goes in and he is off. in morning feeds every hour.
