oh my i am soooo tired i read everything but its a bit blahhhhh

Congrats on the BF so far vic, i totally get you funny enough i actually started to get it that feeling of liking breastfeeding. Its strange and wonderful and nothing i ever experienced with the both kids as 8 weeks were so short. I was only just started to get those wonderful amazing feelings and i am sure they would have just gotten better in time congrats again. and CONGRATS to every one else for continuing to BF

Brain fating here i totally get what your all saying on age gaps, and also understand what u who eva said it ment about vaginal births and getting back on the horse, i was lucky enough to experience a vaginal as my first and she was 8.5 pound. i was not told to wait or anything but on research i found info on 18 months but thats from delivery day of last born to delivery of next born baby.

last night josh was restless, he ended up in bed with us, altho once again this week he wet the bed i woke up with pee all ova me, then it was feed time play time an no real feed time to fall back asleep to be kicked and nudged all night with his restlessness. Altho i had to wake to a very early morning poop change and more kicks and what not. But he was all smiles this morning. which is great to see as he is a grumpy waker just like dadda i gues I love smiles in morning it just washes everything away.

we having serious issues and it could be the disposables but im not putting it all down to them. josh has grown all over and so has other area's of him and the peeing to the left issue is getting worse its becoming a most day thing out of the nappy on our laps. Its very frustrating IYKWIM . its very much cinked looks alot worse than previous. he will be getting a review sometime this year i believe by the surgeon.

As for my feet i will be trying to see a dr next week i believe, ill try to get in if i have time yeah its concerning to me and also want to then ask for another pregnancy test. i dont know why im so symptomatic run down as i dont think i am. yeah Christmas takes it outa me but i normally bounce back more quickly after 1 day or two but the burning sensation and aching feet and legs are really grinding at me it frustrating.

My Baby Girl is 6 months old TODAY!!!!!

OMG the time has really flown by I just can't believe it! Where has my baby gone!!! In some ways I wished she would get bigger and start interacting more, but now that she is I miss my little newborn as well! But I have to say I do enjoy the extra sleep we get now !!!

    Thanks Leasha!

Aww Squidy try to see the Dr as soon as you can And thankyou

Ahh MT yes the ticking clock..... we were going to have 3, but it depends on what happens with the next one... oh the decisions..... A five year gap is way tooo long, I was think maybe 2-2.5 years... which for me hoping for 9 months would be... TTC Sept09 onwards... OMG, awww but I want to be preggers with you girls again!!!

MM sounds like teething symptoms, N doesn't have any signs, DH teethed at 3 months and I got my first tooth a couple of days before my first birthday, lets hope she follows after me

Well got a girls day out today, bridesmaid shoe shopping, one of the other bridesmaids and I did the invites for the Hen's day (afternoon and evening), chose a few games and now just to put them together along with a veil! And another friend is dropping by this afternoon, so have a fab day if I don't get back on! Also gotta wash some nappies!
    xx

    Happy 6 months Nakita!!!

I know what you mean about time flying by Vic - in about 2 weeks time my baby boy will be 2!!!!! Amazing.. I have survived some of the toddler years - and so has he!! haha

MT - I read somewhere (may have been in Silent Knife?) that the scar is healed after 3 months... and it doesn't actually improve from that? Or maybe my OB told me that. Dunno. Can't remember.

    Leash - hi

I'll be offline from Thursday through to Sunday. I really don't know how i'm going to cope. Might have to harass people by text messages (MM... Leash.... hehehehe)

    HAPPY SIX MONTHS NAKITA!!!

Mel - my eldest will be EIGHT in about 3 weeks!! LOL! And my little girl will be five in about 6 weeks They just grow up too quickly!! And harass away baby!!

Vic - all my kids have been different ... DS1 had 8 teeth by the time he was one (started at three months), DD only had 2 teeth at one, DS2 I think had 4 teeth by one, but Master V has been THE BIGGEST dribbler by far!! LOL!

My mum had a 6 year age gap between me and my brother, but I also had a friend whose parents had their second bub when she was TWELVE!! Then again, my grandparents had a 12 year age gap between their #3 and #4!! (my g/m was preg at 40!! and that was back in the 60's!)

Squidipa - V points to the left (actually all my boys do ) and I used to have serious leakage issues with DS1 ... I learned to gently point them all downwards before bringing the nappy up. We have V in cloth and rarely have any leakage issues!!

Anyways, I'm gonna try and get a hot cuppa in while the kids are playing and DP and V are sleeping!

Just got back from being measured for our 5 months at the clinic (we are nearly 5 months - whats a coupla days?)

    HC - 41.3cm
Length - 66cm (but she is notoriously bad for measuring - we measured her at home to be 70cm and that was accurate cos both of us held her and the tape - people that are in a hurry when baby is screaming = not accurate measurements!!!)
    Weight - 6.49kg

She was 6.7kg the other week before she got sick. Now she's lost weight. And that was straight after a feed too.

    Damn you gastro!!! *shakes fist*

Aw Mel, I'm sure Miss M will be fine! I think the warmer weather plays a small part too ... Master V also lost weight and looks skinnier in the legs and tummy, and not quite so chubby in the face (I can also feel the difference, weight wise, when I hold him ... ) Is Miss M more active than before (like kicking, wriggling etc)?

Dunno. We've noticed that she seems to be more tired than usual, but thats probably the bug leaving her system and she's recovering.... I'm guessing...

Has she been eating the usual amount Mel? It can be a bit tricky when they start sleeping too much and not eating enough then end up not having energy to eat properly and subsequently put on weight.

A friend's bub was fully BF'd, and was sleeping through the night (this is from birth and an extreme case) and in his first six weeks didn't put on any weight, can you imagine her shock! She hadn't realised, poor girl!

But I am sure it is just her recovering, how long ago was she sick and for how long, prob will take her a while to get going again

EDIT: Oh by the way - why are you a registered user and you have nearly 7000 posts!!!

Vic - dunno bout my status - I couldn't PM yesterday - then couldn't get on at all!! So they fiddled around with my account, and thats what worked - or somethin

And no - not eating same amount - has about 120-130ml at the moment - last week it was 30/40ml per feed - but the week before that she was knocking back about 160/180ml per feed.

We think she had a belly bug, so was off her food, had the runs and just looked like crap - couldn't get a smile out of her.

Can now though - she is normal, food intake is a little lower and still a bit tired - I'm not too worried, cept the losing weight part sucks...

Hi All. Hope everyone had a great christmas!! we had a lovely day, my first proper christmas in Aus, bit wierd but i loved every minute!

I read everything earlier but couldnt post right away and have forgoten half the stuff i was going to write....but il have a go!

about boobie bitting, not nice, sometimes i think G is going to suck my nipple clean off! but not as bad as being chomped!!

Talking about having another baby right now scares me a little, im more than happy to wait about two years, but a friend of mine got pregnant with her secong while her baby was only 6 months old! and she actually loves them being so close together, they play so well together now!!
My sister is 13 years younger than me aswell, but i was away at uni or traveling or living away from home through most her growing up, which is a shame.

IKWYM about not getting the right measurements when they are screaming, one week Gs head was 44cm the next 41cm, thought OMG her head is shrinking!!

    G is now 6.55kgs!

Happy 6 months Nakita, what a mile stone!

Squidipa: sorry to hear you are feling unwell!! hope your feeling better soon!!

Mel: for M being sick. glad she is on the mend now

Well, we have been having a bit of a nightmare the last few days, SCREAMED ever time i try to put her to bed, i tried everything, feeding her to sleep, not feeding her to sleep, more sleeps, less sleeps, more covers, less covers, was at witts end, taking 30-45 mins or crying to eventually go to sleep. then a friend suggested she might be over being wrapped!! so i just put her to bed in a kinda sleeping bag thing, not a propper grow bag but same idea and she went to sleep NO PROBLEM, not a single complaint! now is fast asleep!! woohoo

Only problem is i just went in to check her and she was face down in the mattress, and i mean face down, not head on the side!! i turned her over. but im worried, if she gets in this possition in the night! she rolls alot in the night.

Mel babe try not to worry about it too much, just keep an eye on her weight for a week or two to make sure she is gaining again.
Well, we have another bear-brained scheme in full force here.... it involves a whole frozen pig named Paris. I'm kind of hoping this latest escapade cures the Bear of his River Cottage phase.... it doesn't really work in an inner city apartment
    gotta go baby crying.... BBL

At least we didn't get pulled over for an RBT check whilst the pig was sitting in the car - that would have been awkward to explain....
