...where jumping on the bed is mandatory!

just read all the recent posts and there seemed to be loads and cant remember what i was going to say!!

Welcome back MM, yay for the rolling, and wow re: the tooth!! i have been thinking one will pop out soon, but have been thinking that for months!! lol. she just dribbles alot!

Pixie: sorry to hear you are having a hard time atm, some times in the evening G takes an hour to go to sleep! chats for a while, wiggles up to the top of the cot, winges, i go in move her down and pat her for a sec, then leave and keep doing this till she falls asleep, but im not there till 10pm!!!! big hugs, hope it gets better for you!!

SB: Shane and Grace sound like the are quite similar in the things they are doing ATM!! hope his rash clears up!

So, bit of a better night last night, only two wake ups, but took me an hour and a half to get her to sleep the second time, but then she slept till 6.45! She had broccoli and apple mixed together for lunch and loved it!!!! going to give her more a few hours before bed!! when im confident that she is confident....IYKWIM im going to start giving her finger food, i like the idea of BLS but im glad we started off this way. she still dictates how much she eats but IMO wasnt ready for solids in ''that'' way before, and i was happier to start her on solids than use formular. her weight is picking up alittle, but she is still only just over 7kgs!! Got a weigh in and immunisations on monday so we will see then!!
She can now comando crawl the length of our bed in a few mins!!there is lots of bum up in the air and face burried in the bed, but she gets there!!!

    hi to all!!

    WELCOME BACK MM and STARBRIGHT!!!!

Well N has settled back down a bit at the moment, the last few days she has been having very little sleep during the day, I have been really busy with work and catching up with people. But today we have mostly beena t home except for nipping out to Westfield to get a few bits and pieces. She slept for 40min the played in ehr cot and went to sleep for another hour after that this morning and this arvo I put her down at 1:30pm and she is still asleep 1/12 later and she hasn't slept long at this time of day for a while and she will be out of whack tomorrow as we are back to the hospital for prem playgroup and we have to go up to NICU afterwards!!

She is also getting closer to rolling, she used to roll from her front to back from 3 weeks of age, I think cos her head was so heavy compared to her body it was ready easy she just tipped it a bit and rolled but now she had got some chub she stopped, well she was doing it occassional before her 6 month Paed appointment, but has stopped and not done it since. But now she is going side to side a lot, staying then and tipping her face onto the mat so it won't be long!!

    Congrats to....
MM for Veygas' tooth and the rolling, and the new house with NO Toolstra
Rach for Eli loving the fruit and for the rolling

    Hugs to...
MT for the chomping!! No teeth here eith not even a sign, but I never got my first until a week before my first birthday so I reckon we have a good 6 1/2 months ahead of us!!
Pixie for The Bear being away and Beth mot settling
SB for having a tough time settling Shane
Beckoes for Grace having a couple of wakeups and goodluck with your Imms and weigh in Monday.

Sash, don't get me wrong she sleeps through from about 10 to 6 or 7 - so I am probably just being too picky - but we have a disagreement about what is bedtime. I think it's bedtime when she goes down at 7pm. She thinks she is just having a nap and that real bedtime is at 10pm. That's why she wakes up and wants to play for a couple of hours. She seems to be winning this argument. Unfortunately she is superclingy and demanding at this time ie. not happy unless I am actually holding her, and sometimes not even then, which makes cooking dinner a challenge.
Vic, yay for the day sleeps! hope it keeps up!
Beck, commando crawling is awesome... look out she's on the move! Hope she sleeps better at night for you
SB i'm like you in the sense of having an order of doing things but the time changing from day to day
    Squids yay for PJs
MM I always laugh at what you have written under your name - why don't you get the chance to sit down with a cuppa? HELLLOOOOO you have four kids!

Pix!!! I didn't even get a chance this morning when I said I was gonna have one cause the pool guy turned up 1.5 hours early!! lol! And that's with 2 at school now and one asleep! hehehehe

I kinda feel ripped off that my baby isn't really a baby anymore .... and I soooo can't believe he has a tooth ... well it's not all the way through yet, but it is there. Funny thing is, he's not dribbling anywhere near as much as before!

Vic - hope Miss N isn't too much out of whack for you tomorrow
