Hi all
Been a while since I have posted, have been lurking around but never seem to have time to post.
Sickness has yet again hit our place, I have a middle ear infection, the plane trip back from Brissie was not pleasant and I now have a persistant high pitches squeal in my left ear. Maria has had gastro (thanks childcare), I am still worried that something she eats is trobling her so I have a referal toa paed for the Thursday week, hopefully she will eat better then, mice out her to shame lately. I had her weighed by the baby health nurse last Thursday and she was only 7.5kg, I think she has lost a bit due to the gastro as well.
I also want to put her onto cows milk once she turns 1, so I want to definetly rule out the lactose intolerance before then)
Other news than the sickness, is that I have started organising a birthday party for Maria and bought her presents last week, a FP swing and a walker/buggy that has songs etc (I love toy shopping), she has 2 more teeth (6 now) and I am seriously thinking of giving up work, I am just so tired constantly and getting every bug going around. Work is moving out to Rosehill by the end of the year and I just cannot face the travel every day, 2hours in Sydney traffic every day is not my cup of tea. I just want to enjoy Maria, not just look after her and worry if I have done my full 24 hours work in a week.
Hope everyone is well or getting better.
-
Wow lots of posts!
Hi Louise! Sorry Maria has had gastro, it's the pits! And I hope your ear fixes itself soon. Yuck 2 hours in Sydney traffic - I totally understand how Maria time is so much more appealing!
Bec - Hello to you too! Josh is such a cutey. Yay on TTC too - fingers crossed there's another pg one of us very soon.
Rae - Yeap all a bit too real! Trying to organise for various family members to come up atm to look after Lucie when the time comes. Fingers crossed I'll have MIL and FIL here by 1st Sept.
Fletch - Was going to get you to do some invites for Lucie's party by I only need 4 LOL so will just do something quickly myself. Maybe when #2 arrives I can use your wonderful services to do some funky thank you cards.
Jo - Hopefully you are feeling your gorgeous self again today!
Storm - Yay for belly!!!!! Lucie loves my belly and thinks it's hilarious. She could spend all day blowing raspberries on it if I let her! Don't know what she'll think after it's gone (hopefully won't take too long).
Hi Alex, Brooke, Cass and everyone else!. Hope Tracey is having a nice holiday.
We're off to another 1st birthday today which should be fun. Off to have muffet weighed this am too. Will let you know....I'm scared!
-
Just got back from clinic - Only a gain of 150g in past month (now 8.5kg, 70cm long)
:( She's sliding off the scale but as midwife said, because she is so active so early and not a big eater, this is why she is not gaining a lot. So don't think she will be any near 9kg at 12 months :crying: But what can I do?
-
Morning Ladies
Soph just like the midwife said..she has been active early and doesnt like to eat..dont stress. The fact that she is so active is proof enough that shes perfectly fine. It is hard not to worry though isnt it. Have fun at your 1st birthday party..bet little Lucie will have a ball.
Awww Louise not more sickness you poor thing. Geez I can so understand you wanting to quit your job..thats hard work driving 2 hours! Goodluck with whatever you are able to decide. I so hope little Maria is better soon..poor munchkin.
Whoohooo Bec isnt little Joshie so clever. Its so great being able to watch and see them change and grow each day isnt it. Congrats on the ttcing too. Fingers crossed for a :bfp: very soon! Im loving Raising boys too..its a nice easy read and makes a lot of sense..what do you think?
Rae thanks for that...i will take solace in looking good in my av!!Hehe..cos Im feeling so darn awful!
Fletchie hope your next job is going well..thats so great!
Well another day feeling terrible. I am really over it...and whats with AF..sorry if TMI but did everyone find first one so unbelievably heavy?? :boohoo:

Hi Girls ,
sorry I have been MIA ..I have bronchitus so does Dh and Kaitlyn having a temp of 38.9 for two days and hardly opening her eyes the whole time we took her to hospital yesterday. Good news is in the 8HOURS we were there ..yes 8 bloody hours!. Her temp started to drop and she seemed a little better. They needed a urine sample before we left though so from about 445pm to 945pm ..we had to sit forcing Kaitlyn to drink Gaterade with her nappy off so we could catch the wee!. The Dr was on his second day and could not speak English ..he kept asking why she had not had certain shots and I kept saying because they get them at 12months and she is 11month...I had to tell him this 3 times!. All I can say is thank god for the nurses
ohhh miss is up ..better run...I will try and jump on later and read posts and tell you more.
But she is all AOK so that is the main thing.
-
Cass - I hope you and Kaitlyn are feeling better.
Soph - I would love Maria to be 8.5kg, she is only 7.5kg and eats like a mouse as well.
Fletch - you won't fall to pieces, have a good weekend.
Well Maria and I had a good day today. I found an outfit for her birthday from PP that was reduced - yay. and this afternoon I went for a lovely walk with her and went to a preloved kids stuff store and found a beautiful maroun velveteen dress with rosebud embroidery on it, great condition and only $9, I love bargains, now she has a special outfit for a christening in Canberra on the long weekend. Now she is asleep after eating all her dinner (hasn't done that in a week), hopefully she stays there.
-
Kel hope little Zahra's birthday was beautiful and fun with lots of pressies and spoiling. Cant wait to hear all about it.:)
Louise thats great finding such a lovely outfit. Its nice getting bargains like that..and the birthday outfit as well! Have you decided about what you will do with work?
Cass what a nightmare you poor thing. That must have been awful trying to catch a wee..geez. Get well vibes being sent your way:hug:
Its an emotional time isnt it Fletchie thinking about this time last year. I can remember being soo thrilled..first that little Zahzie had been born and then when we had heard about beautiful Zane. Such an amazingly special time! And you you clever thing had no reason to doubt how well your body would cope delivering Zane and becoming the fantastic mummy that you are.:) I hope your party is going so well and little Zane is having a lovely day. Hope his very special day tomorrow is wonderful full of beautiful memories for you and Scott to cherish forever.
Brooke that is so great with the maternity leave. Must be such a relief for you. Hope you are feeling better now.
Hope you are all having a lovely day ladies. My little boy is loving the remotes at the moment. First chance he gets its grabbing the foxtel remote..funny boy..thats seems to be his favourite. He is also loving getting into the cupboard with all of the plastic cups and plates..thinks hes so clever lol. Oh and he has a shape sorter truck and he has been putting all his little farm animals into it. We have been clapping each time he did it so now each time he puts an animal in the shape he claps his hands and looks around expectantly! It is so gorgeous. Gosh they are clever little sausages arent they.

Happy Birthday Master Zane Fletcher!!!!!!!
Hope its a wonderful day for you with lots of snuggles and spoiling from Mummy and Daddy. Thinking of you on your very very special day.
:happyforyou:
Love Sammy and Jo
-
Happy Birthday Zane!!!!!!!! Have a great day with mummy and daddy and lots fo smooches!
Jo - How cute with Sammy and the remotes, and his truck! Thanks for your kind words re Lucie's weight too. Very hard not to stress though.
Louise - Yeah I definately have a mouse here too! Congrats on the shopping bargains.
Cass - Hope you are all on the mend, you poor things! Didn't they use one of those wee bag things at the hospital? When we were there (in the early days with me stressing about a non eating bub) they would stick this bag thing over her girly bits which caught all the wee. A lot easier than trying to catch it yourself!
Brooke - Yay for paid mat leave! I am getting it too
Well we have another hunger strike here, but i think the culprit may be a cold that Lucie has woken up with. Bugger! I did discover yesterday a fruit she will eat though - grapes! Yahhhhhhhhhhhh!
-
Ah she really isn't well - proceeded to throw up all over both of us just after my last post and then 2 more times since. She's now in bed, hopefully will have a decent sleep. So no breakie and just diluted juice probably on the menu today, she can't afford to be sick like this again! At least it explains the recent lack of appetite a bit. I hate bugs
-
Awww Soph no...sorry to hear that. Poor Lucie..hope shes better soon. I havent tried Sammy with grapes..good idea..will have to get some for him. Does Lucie get bored with food? I feel like I am giving him a smorgasboard of options each day because he picks and pecks...so dont know if hes bored or just not hungry.
Jo

Happy Birthday Zane :happybirthday:
How ya coping Flethcie??
Oh Soph, sorry to hear Lucie is sick again!
Hi to everybody!
Zac is just recovering from a severe bout of the runs, has bad nappy rash too (his first ever :crying: ) Had a temp of 38.6 on Friday night, but when it went it never came back.Been doing nothing but changing nappies & bathing & comforting my little boy!! He seems better now, I was thinking it was the milk doing it to him, so he is now back on formula, & not liking it at all!! Back to the struggle to feed him, I'll try the cows milk in a few weeks time again. Poor poor little stinky pants!!
My dishwasher arrived yesterday!! YIPPEE for me no more washing up!! Just gotta learn how to use it now......
Hope everybody is having a nice weekend.
-
Poor Zaccie. Hopefully being back on formula will clear him up. Yaay on the dishwasher too...I cant live without mine!!!
Jo
-
Jo - Lol about the remotes, Maria loves them as well, she turned the TV on the other day (accidently) but she will pick it up and point it in the right direction. I am not sure about work yet, DH says to wait till I fall pg again then resign, I just don't want to travell all the distance each day.
Fletch - Happy B'day to Zane, hope you have had a lovely day.
Soph - Hope Lucie gets well soon. I stress as well (but try not too) every time that Maria gets sick because I feel horrible if she hasn't put on enough weight when I get her weighed. hope the hunger strike ceases soon.
Storm - Hope Zac is better, Yay for the dishwasher, that is one appliance that I don't have that would love, but no room.
Well Maria has just totally destroyed but suprising hasn't tried to eat a whole toys catalogue from the newspaper she is very happy with her self. She has been covering her face with a page, pulling it down and waiting for us to say boo, very cute.
Oh well time to get little I don't want to eat anything other than tomato soup her tea.
-
:confetti: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZANE!!! :confetti:
Hope it's been a great day, Fletch!
Hi to everyone else also, hope you've all had a lovely weekend. And thanks to everyone for your encouragement re TTC. :) (And LOL, Brooke!)
Sending get well vibes to all the sick mums & bubs. Hope you are all feeling better soon!
Jo...Josh loves remotes too. And he always manages to find the "change channel" button just as something that I want to see comes on! Sammy sounds so gorgeous with his truck - clever boy :) Yep, I agree about Raising Boys, it does make a lot of sense. I read the whole book a few months ago, but am planning to read it again when Josh gets a bit older and it becomes a bit more relevant.
Soph...poor Lucie...I hope she is feeling better soon. How has seen been today?
Storm...YAY for the dishwasher! We installed one just before Josh was born. I LOVE it! Hope the formula gets Zac back to normal.
Louise...well done on the bargains. I don't blame you wanting to avoid the travelling. Hope you can get it all sorted out soon.
Cass...I hope your family is on the mend soon! Poor Kaitlyn, I hope she is feeling better.
Brooke...how are you all doing?
We've had a nice weekend. We had lunch out today and did a bit of shopping - we bought lots of nice stuff for Josh. Sales time is great!
-
-
sorry that was maria having a chat, can someone send her some sleep vibes
-
-
Oh Louise I hope Maria got some sleep for you! I stress every time I get Lucie weighed too, and I know it's not a reflection on me that she won't eat or put on weight, but it feels like it? I know it's not a rational thing to say and DH thinks I am mad, but YKWIM?
Storm - How is Zac back on the formula? Hope the runny nappies end quick smart.
How was yesterday Fletch?
Hi Bec! What did you buy? Toys or clothes?
LOL Jo, Lucie often gets a smorgasbord! And if she doesn't eat anything then DH runs and does the 2 min noodles or a cream cheese sandwich, but they weren't even working yesterday! How is the horse going? And how is Jess?
Hi everyone else!
Well Lucie kept waking last night every hour or so, but still put herself back to sleep. Poor munchkin. She didn't want dinner last night either but managed to drink 80ml of formula. Not great but kept her going at least. She had a half decent attempt at a bottle this am but not too hopeful about breakfast. I'll be happy if she keeps this bottle down. Nearly been 30 mins since it, so hopefully ok. I've even caved in and given her her dummy (usually only for bed), in the hope that sucking will help keep the milk down! She's very snotty but still quite playful and chirpy. Oh I hate it when kids are sick, suppose I had better get used to it though eh? It just tears your heart out when you can't do anything for them.....
-
Hi girls :)
We have had a busy but lovely w/end with Zaney's b'day party and my mum was up for my neice's 3rd b'day!
Fletch - how was the big day?!!! Hope u had a lovely time celebrating as a family. The party was great - we had heaps of fun (yummo burgers and party food) - and el had sooooo much fun on the swing!!!
Cass and Soph - u poor things!!!!!!!! This sickness just doesn't want to leave everyone alone!!! Hope those little cherubs are getting back to normal again...sending heaps of hugs
Brooke - wooohooo on the paid mat leave - that must make u feel better :) How's the preg going?
Storm - a dishwasher!!!!!!!!!!!! That's great -u won't know urself!
Louise - hope Maria is sleeping a bit better for u...she's such a cutie by the way!
Jo - ooooohhhh i totally understand the frustration about their obsession with remotes! Ella goes crazy when she sees them...her fav is the foxtel too - i think it's because it's the most colourful - i'm tempted to go to **** Smith and just buy her one of her own - hehehehehe!
Bec - best wishes with the TTC! I'm gonna try for #2 very soon too so hopefully we'll be able to share sucess and preg stories together!
Have a great day girls - and give all those little ones (espesh the sick ones) an extra cuddle from me and Ella!
-
Hi Rae - Sounds like a fab weekend and sounds like Fletch did an awesome job of the party too.
I agree it seems like the sickness just keeps going around and around. Had anyone escaped it?
Storm - Dishwashers are fab. I have one for the first time in our new place and I LOVE IT! DH was always 'supposed' to do the dishes but never did. So now I just load it throughout the day and then hey presto! I have actually kept doing bottles by hand though, I think they were getting that dishwasher taste too them and Lucie wasn't too happy about it.
Just went for a big walk. Snot face seems a bit less snotty so I hope the fresh air did her good. Still pretty grumpy and only snacking on rusks etc - no meals as such, but drinking a bit of milk so just trying to pump the fluids through her to flush out the germies. Ahhhhh she's just emptied my basket of ironing and is now upside down in it. Little rat!
-
Fletchie how was little Zaney's big day. Hope it was lovely.
LOL at snotface Soph lol...hope the walk and fresh air did her and you both good. Its good to get out and about. Poor darling with her sleep too. Nice day to snuggle eh. Lol at the ironing basket too..they just get into everything dont they!!!!Jess is good thanks..doing really well. Not enjoying not being able to do much but her arm should be ok out of its sling this week. Gemma the horse is actually going back to its owner today. We have borrowed her from the kids horse riding instructor for them to practice on and for us to discover if its what we want full time.
Aww Rae glad you had a nice busy weekend. The foxtel remote is by far the prettiest lol and biggest here too so maybe it just stands out!!
:asleep: :asleep: :asleep: for Maria.....in case Bec's and Soph's didnt do the trick!!!They just love those catalogues dont they..cheapest amusement ever!!!
Bec gotta love t hose sales eh. Now seems like its such a great time everywhere! Im certainly hoping its the case today as Im hitting the shops lol.
Storm hope youve had a nice weekend.
Well so hope you are all having a lovely day today. Its raining steadily here today. We had a lovely weekend. We had our friends over who just got back from a UK holiday. Was lovely seeing them again..its been 2 months...and you can imagine how much Sammy has changed in that time..so they were blown away that hes stepping now. Im waiting for little boy to wake up now so we can head off to the shops and so I can get some suprises without him looking for his birthday. I cant believe hes nearly one!!!
Jo
-
Lol At Lucie getting into the ironing basket Soph!!
Zac loves the foxtel remote too!! He points it at the telly & looks at us as if to say " can I put cartoons on?"
How was Zane's big day Fletch?
I keep thinking to myself, this time last year.......... oh it's terrible, there are only 10 days to go!
Yay for a good weekend Rae, ours was so busy I'm glad it's over!
Loving the dishwasher!! Although I did just wash up by hand this morning, but I had to do bottles I dont think I want to do them in the dishwasher. Besides, the benches & cupboards still need washing, they wont fit in there!!
Lol at Maria making her own post !! How cute???
Did your friends enjoy their holiday JO? Must be great having them home & telling about all the wonderful adventures they had.
Hope everybody is enjoying their day!! I am .
Ob visit went well this morning , I have another u/s in 3 weeks, hoping to find out what I'm packing too!! Can not believe I am 16 weeks today, I don't even feel pregnant yet!!!!
-
You better believe it Storm because you'll be popping out a baby in about 24 weeks time! And ditch all the hand washing, except the bottles I agree.
Jo - what date is Sammy's birthday? I don't want to forgot!!!!
Ah well not much on the solids front for lunch - about a quarter of a piece of cheese on toast and a ****tail sausage (shhhhhhhhhhhhhh!). Hopefully she'll have some more milk before or after her afternoon snooze. Are all the bubs still having 2 sleeps or sometimes just 1? If Lucie only has 1 she is is a nightmare.
-
Zac sometimes has 2 sleeps, it depends on what time his 1st one is!! If he sleeps for 4 hours through the day, which he normally does, then no chance of an arvo one, but if he only has a short sleep , say 1-2 hrs, then he'll have an arvo one.Does that make sense?
-
Wow Fletch your boy look sbig for 1 day old LOL!
4 hours Storm????? Wow! Lucie's sleeps are a lot shorter 40 mins to 1.5 hours, so I guess that's why she so needs to have 2.
-
4 hours is a bit of a bummer, he misses lunch & if I need to go out I cant. But I do get all the housework done while he sleeps, which leaves all my time to play with him!!
Fletchie, you just brought a tear to me eyes too!! Glad you had such a wonderful time!! Yippee Zane!!
-
Fletch that pic of Zane is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! Such a big, handsome boy :) I feel like crying for u too - it's not fair that they grow up so quick.
Not long now Sammy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ella still has 3 sleeps during the day - hooray!!!! She wakes for a feed at 7:30ish (after going to bed around 7), then will be up for an hr for a play in bed. I put her down bout 8:30-9 and she'll sleep til 10:30ish. Then she'll have big meal and playtime and is back in bed around midday/1pm for an hr or two - and will finally have another sleep between 4-5pm. She's like her mum and loves her sleeptime!
Feeling a bit down today after an arguement with my sister. She's just being inconsiderate right now. It is my neices 3rd b'day today - so my mum came up from cooma to celebrate with her on the wk/end. Anyway cutting a long story short my sister arranged at the last minute a party for her at 7:30pm at hogs breath.
Mum had to catch the plane at that time (which my sister knew about) and we were gonna drive her to the airport for making the effort and coming to visit when she's really busy and stressed with work (she's a nurse who's just changed jobs to Mental Health). So DH, Ella and i couldn't even make the party as it was too late to go out (as el's usually in bed by 7 - another thing my sister already knew) by the time we got back from the airport.
Both mum and i have been bugging my sister for two weeks about birthday plans and it wasn't until yest arvo that she told us this. So now she's furious that we didn't go (even though mum and i took Liela out for lunch, got her haircut...as she'd taken scissors to it 6 wks ago and her mother hadn't bothered to get it fixed), and gave her our pressies.
I'm just really annoyed and hurt because mum and i, who do everything for Leila...i damn well look after her most of the time for nothing...weren't even taken into consideration. Instead my sister invites 20 friends of hers - that Leila hardly knows -to her party. Well i guess u get that when ur 20yrs old!!!! Now i can't even ring and wish my little neice happy birthday cause my sister won't answer her phone. It's just not right!!!!
Well i've been wondering how to approach the subject with her about dropping down to only minding Leila 2 days a week as we want to TTC #2 soon - so maybe when she comes crawling back for me to mind her again this week i'll bring it up then. I just HATE fighting sooooo much with my family - especially my sister as she really holds grudges. 2 yrs ago we had a little disagreement - it was hardly anything - and she wouldn't let me see Leila for nearly 2 months. I just couldn't handle if she did that this time as Leila is almost like my own and her and Ella are so close.
Sorry to ramble on - needed to vent....was hoping it would make me feel a bit better :(
Thanks
-
Fletch you have to tell us all about the party and birthday!
Rae - I reckon your sister sounds a bit selfish if you don't mind me saying. Sounds like you do heaps for Leila and she doesn't really appreciate the effort, nor your mothers effort to come up for the birthday. You look after her heaps and while you obviously love her tonnes, you do have to think of yourself too, especially if you are TTC again. You probably won't have as much time for Leila when you have another munchkin of your own, although no doubt she'll still be thrilled to bits to spend time with you and Ella and the new bub. She should be apologising to you!
Storm - Wow that is unbelievable you must be able to do so much in that 4 hours! Go Zac! He obviously loves his sleep too.
I just got conned by an 11 month old:rolleyes: We were in Big W and Lucie (who has developed a fascination with dogs lately) spotted a toy dog. I stupidly took it off the shelf to have a bit of a play with her - it barks and sniffs and moves. Anyway she wouldn't let me put it back. Usually I just do, she has a tantrum and a few minutes later all is forgotten. But she really loved it and looks so sick atm, so I got it for her!!!! Oooops Dh is going to kill me!
-
Omg at 4 hours Storm!!!!! WOW. Sammy will sleep for 1 hour normally sometimes will stretch it to 11'2 hours lol...and during that time I have to fly to get everything done. You think you could get your bub to whisper in my bub's ear!!! 16 weeks too..gee its flying along! Our friends had a great time thanks...but they found it was long enough and could have come home a couple of weeks earlier. I guess with kids and staying with other people and not having your own space can only go on for so long.
Awww Fletchie...now you will get me going!!!Im glad your weekend went well. What is the canopy trike? Sounds like hes had such a fun time! Love the new ticker too!
Rae thats great little Ella still loves her 3 sleeps. Sammy has two most days but every now and then will just have the one. Sorry you are having a hard time with your sister. Its tough isnt it in families. My brother is 23 and has a 3/12 year old too. Him and his girlfriend split up a year and half ago and we parent so differently...I just have to bite my tongue though lol. You are an angel though for doing it at no cost..what a fantastic aunty and sister you are.
Soph Sammys bday is on wednesday ..its the 2nd...two more sleeps.:) If its any consolation..i get connned regularly..but i just call it a reward for good behaviour lol...try that one on your hubby!
I had a ball shopping today ...went a little bit overboard but hey he only has his first birthday once. He was an absolute angel too!
Jo
-
Hey girls :)
Soph...it was a bit of everything yesterday (shopping wise). We got Josh a top from Pumpkin Patch and a little pair of runners (so cute!) from Osh Kosh. And we went to Babies Galore and bought a stroller. I've been keen to get something light and easy to run around with at the shops etc. Much easier to manouvre than the big 3-wheeler. I love it already. And all on sale! LOL about getting conned by Lucie! Clever girl. Sending her some eating and sleeping vibes...
Jo...you're allowed to go overboard - it's your little boy's first birthday! Sounds like you had a good day. Good on Sammy for being a little angel...he must have known that you were buying him pressies!
Storm...yay for 16 weeks! Hope you can find out bub's flavour at your next u/s!
Awww Fletch, you nearly made me cry with your post too! I'm glad to hear that Zane's birthday weekend was so special. His new ticker picture is gorgeous. He really does look like a grown up little boy in it.
Rae...what a difficult situation to be in. The plans for your niece's party weren't reasonable and it sounds like you certainly deserve a lot more appreciation for what you do for your sister. I hope you can get it all sorted out soon.
On the topic of sleep...Josh has 2 naps per day - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. They can range anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes each. I am SO jealous of Zac's 4 hour sleeps! Josh is still waking through the night too. I was watching Robyn Barker (the author of Baby Love) on the Today Show this morning and she was talking about how some babies sleep through the night from 8 weeks and some don't sleep through until they are 3 years old. I was sitting there thinking that Josh will be the one who waits until he is 3!
-
Lol Bec..if its any consolation Im pretty sure Sammy will be the same lol. None of the girls slept through the night til ..well it was later than 3 actually as they were always up for a drink and toilet break! Sammy still wakes regularly for at least 2 boobie feeds.
Jo
-
Bec - Oh I love buying shoes for them! They are so cute I think. Wish I'd seen that on the Today show, bugger. She has a new book out too on Toddlers which I want to get.
Jo - Oh wow that's tomorrow!!!!! Little Sammy will be Big Sammy! I hope you have a lovely day. What are you doing?
Morning all! Well Lucie woke at 5.30 this morning and drank all her 180ml (usually max has been 150ml of late) and wanted more and finished another 120ml bottle. Then she seemed really tired still so she went back to sleep for an hour! OMG! Now she is drinking water from her sippy cup as we speak. Must be a thirsty girl. She is a bit less snotty, but sounds like a coffee perculator when she breathes. I have a doc appt today so might get her to have a quick listen to her chest and look in her ears just to make sure all is a-ok.
Oh and that dog I got her? It started barking at about 11pm last night - very freaky. I had to get up and come down to turn it off. Kept thinking it was probably possessed like Chuckie in Childs Play LOL!
-
Soph, One of Jack's toys, a talking workbench that is really really loud went off one night and I woke up thinking WTF!! I had to get up and turn it off 2!!! We must have possessed toys!! Glad to hear Lucie drank lots of milk for u!! Hope she is on the improve!!
Bec, YAY on your bargain shopping!! I was watching Robyn Barker too and I have read her book too. Really makes me remember that every bubba is so different..
Jo, how u going with wrapping all his prezzies!! I think we should all spoil our bubbas cause they are only 1 once!! Only 1 more sleep to go.....:p
Rae, hope your sis can come to her senses and u guys can come to an agreement. She should think about her daughter and what is best for her, but obviously she doesnt..And isn't dinner @ 7.30pm gonna run a bit late for a 3 yr old... I think so!!
Fletch, Zane sounds like he had an awesome party and an even better family birthday... His ticker pic is just so cute!! And I know what you mean about tearing up and trying not to cry. It seems like just yesterday they were tiny little bubbas in our arms.. And I can't wait for my invites!!!!!! I just wanna show them off to everyone!!hehehehe
Storm, can't believe Zac has 4 hrs naps sometimes!!! But I guess it can be a bummer too if u wanna go out and stuff, but u must get alot of housework done too!!!
Well I better go and organize some tea for Nick and Jack 2nite cause I'm going to see Jindabyne with my mum and friends.
Oh and Jack is now pulling himself up on everything and has had so many bumps on his head!!! But what can u do?? I think its making him tougher though cause lately if he bumps himself he just keeps going!!! And yesterday, while Nick had a day off, I made him childproof the whole house so I don't have to worry about him getting into stuff he shouldn't... But he still always charges for the dog bowl and the water bowl too!!!
Have a lovely day all!!!!
-
Hi girls :)
Thanks heaps for ue encouragement re my nasty sister - hehehe. i usually have leila today but she was a no show - and no call. Oh well i did expect it.
Soph - its good to hear that Lucie is feeling better...and what a little guts - lol. Good for her :)
Bec - oh i'm going to the meet in August too - looking forward to meeting u and ur litle one. I think Brooke and Charli might be going to so i'll be able to put faces to names/avatars!
Jo - one more sleep!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe Sammy's joining the 1 club too! U must be so excited..and teary.
Alex - Fletch did my invites for Ella's b'day too - they r soooo gorgeous - everyone loves them. U definately won't be disappointed.

Happy Birthday Sammy! :hello: Hope you have a lovely day!
Rae - Fletch sure does sound talented with the cards! Hope your TTC time is short and sweet.
Fletch - The trike sounds awesome! So nice to get out of the house isn't it?
Well Muffet has a horrible cough. She ate a few noodles last night but bottle this am is back to 120ml  Not very positive for her eating solids for breakfast. DH is sick now too - men are the worst at being sick aren't they?

Oh and I think we have tooth #9!

:happybirthday: Sammy!! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!
Oh No Soph, poor DH, I totally agree with you on them being sick, nobody has ever been as sick!!! Yay for a new tooth for Lucie!! Is it a double? Zac's just cut his top 2 doubles & now I think the bottom's are coming, man what a nightmare!!!
Took Zac to get weighed yesterday, 9.4 kg, he only gained 400gms since June, but grew 2.5cms.
Grrrrr, at your sister Rae, a phone call would have been nice, hey?
I'm lost for ideas for Zaccie's birthday, maybe it's because I am in denial! I just keep telling myself it's only 12 months, no different from 11 months, but it's not working :crying: he's gonna be 1 & I cant escape it. Where has this past year gone?
Have a nice day ladies.

Storm - I'll have some of that weight gain please!!! Zac is doing really well now. Lucie is on a hunger strike still with this cold and cough, actually taking her to the docs this am just to make sure it's not an ear infection. Oh she has just woken...............
