Oh Soph thats a long time away. Ours all finish this friday!

Cass how is the chrissy tree going..still one side bare?? LOL. Sammy isnt really interested in ours still thank goodness. Ive put a pile of pressies under there too but nope!!! My fingers are crossed hes like this all the way to the 25th!!!

Assembly went well last night. Its my sisters bday today. Shes 19..so we have a family party tonight. Sammy just wanted to run everwhere..no fear our babies hey???

Storm..i hope everythings ok..im getting worried.

Daycare told us that kaitlyn seems to lose her balance sometimes and that we should have her ears checked out in case they have fluid in them ..poor bubba I have noticed this as well but thought it may just be the learning to walk time that causes her to just fall over ..anyway seeing our Pead on Tuesday to confirm it all!

Quiet in here girls...jumping on for the first night in agesssssssss. Been so busy over here , usually dont get to sit down until around 930pm...I guess that is one of the downfalls of having a bigger house now rather then our old little unit .

Well we are taking Kaitlyn to the Pead tomorrow , so I will let you all know how she goes.

Cass how was the Paed appt? Hope all is well with princess Kaitlyn. Its hard to know at this age..they always seem to be falling or tripping over something. Poor Sammy has a scraped knee and a bruise on his head poor baby ..one of the many falls hes had lately.

Louise Maria is clever opening her nappies lol....think Zaccy was doing the same thing. We havent had that yet..hoping it doesnt happen lol!

I had a long talk with my brother last night. He lives in Broome and hes actually just broken up with his girlfriend of 4 years...came out of the blue to us but to him its been building up for a long time...no children so its a fairly easy split..well as easy as any split can be.

We had a great party last night..but my baby the water baby...no fear at all!! My mum has set up a little area for the two littlies Brooke whos 4 and Sammy with a little clam, a pool and toys but nup..he wanted in the big pool with the big kids lol! Mum looked so disappointed..awww

Kids last day today..whoohooo...done all the teachers pressies..and the kids are handing out bonbons of lollies to their friends today. There is lots of shirt signing going on for Jess and her friends who all break up to different schools next year.

Oh Jo how lovely! You must be so excited to have them all home for the holidays!.

Well Kaitlyns appt went well , he thinks it is just a developmental stage and we have to watch her over the next month and just make sure her balance gets better rather then worse. But I tell you she is getting soooo big! She is 11.9Kgs and 85cms tall ...my baby is no longer a baby! hehe.

It is really scary though when they talk about brain scans and things like that ..makes you really appreciate how lucky you are to be healthy . Life can change so quickly ...it is scary! But thankfully today we are still all AOK :-). Just really excited now to get home and have three days with my girl ( I would say DH but he works Sat and Sundays now :-( )

well better run and get some work done I guess heheehe.

PS: louise didnt end up getting anything on ebay ...just "window shopping" hehe

Jo - Wow you are organised with pressies for the teachers and stuff! LOL at Sammy wanting the big pool! Yeap hanging out for Mick's hols. My parents and Nan arrive the 21st too for Chrissy so should be fun. Mind you ask me that around the 23rd and I'm sure I'll be hanging out for them to leave!

Well munchkins are good apart from my latest stress (see BF thread) but have decided life is too short and my kids are beautiful and happy and that's all that matters!

Ive posted Soph in your thread..i really think its ok ..REALLY. Sammy slowed down so much but really he was still gaining you know..we put so much pressure on ourselves as mothers and wives..and we are quite simply all MARVELLOUS!!!! Keep your water intake up and feed frequently (you and Neddy LOL) and you will be fine!!! You have a busy day on the 21st Soph..be lovely for you..give it a few days eh lol.

Cass Im so glad that little missy is ok. Its so hard to tell isnt it with all the falls they take! Enjoy your 3 days with your little girls...oh and isnt it the pits when our DHs work weekends!!!!

Jo I agree:twisted: to poor DH's having to work on the weekends. Hard as well as we both work during the week so I dont really see him much these days. We say we are like ships passing in the night ...hehe. Lucky we make good use of the time we have...about two hours a night - as he gets home at 830pm most nights and I leave at 630am!!!!. But I am just happy he has Tuesdays off so he gets time alone with Kaitlyn and also she only has to go to daycare three days a week...so that is our main focus.

I was actually thinking....after the second one I dont think I will come back to the corporate life ( although it does pay so well it is hard to leave!) But thinking of just working at coles on the checkouts after hours or something ..takes me back to my school days!!!!! but that way I can be home ...Guess worry about that when we actually have two hahaha

Cass..my guess is that it wont be too long away before number two makes an appearance lol!!!!!! Good for you leaving the busy corporate life..we just have to do what works best for our families and us dont we.

Just had my haircut and actually going out tonight to one of DH's teachers friends place for a BBQ. His wife just has a baby and doesn't know many people here either so hopefully we will get along well. Haven't been out in sooooooooo long. Trying to wake Ned up to take the other booby. Bang bang clang clang hehehehehe

We had dads families Xmas party yesterday in the heat & smoke, it was a good day TOO much food just waht a preggo lady (queasy 90% of the day) needed!!!
Indah took an unaided step between coffee table & couch last night & refused to do it again.....
She spent all of yesterday at the Xmas party plying in the dogs drink buckets!! mmmm nice!
She's cut a molar & theothers are coming thru so she's a bit clingy, but happily went to her carer, I have worked out if she has food in her hands she is happy to go to the Carer!!! hee hee

Maddy's team won basketball finally this week...

Dh is loving his new Harley & I actually get a smile at seeing him so wrapped with the bike!! But its his B'day on the 13th (wed) he is just getting card coz the bike was not cheap!!!! LOL...

We had a lovely weekend..busy but lovely. We set the pool up...its supposed to be getting bloody hot this week so have had to put a fence up around that...Master Sam is very interested lol. We had a big sleepover with 4 extra kiddos on Saturday..plus my girlfriend brought her littlies over so we had a houseful! Was lots of fun and made me with my four seem so small after everyone left sunday arvo lol.

Not much happening this week...Im being pretty tight fisted with Chrissy so close!!!

Had a nice weekend , MIL called me and put the bloody guilts on me but other then that I had nothing that dampened my weekend !. Took Kaitlyn to get her Santa photos today and ended up having to do a family shot as Kaitlyn was not sitting on his knee hehe.

Kaitlyn is getting good at eating with a spoon which is exciting! . Mind you the mess every meal time is just out of this world!. I made us Shepards pie on Sunday night and she lovveeedd .

Well I am off ..grays on line have some really nice linen on sale so I think I am going to try my hand at bidding!. Had to pick Kaitlyn up two new sets of sheets today so know I am in the mood to get us some.

Kaitlyn had a rough night ....poor love woke at about 10pm and did not get back to sleep until midnight...she has a cough.

Also think I might pop back to the Pead as she had a hernia around her belly button when she was born and it seems to be popping out a little..anyone heard of this happening before?.

Well off I go ..hi ho hi ho ...its into my work emails I go ...(bad seven dwarfs impression there ..incase you didnt get it!)

I hate work again today... hee hee... I have to give a presentation & I just cant even start on it yet... It's in 3 hours & I just cant be bothered!!! I might just wing it!

I am a bit nervy today... Indah has gone with the whole Council, on a Christmas Party/picnic day in the park... Her carer doesnt drive & so the council bus is coming to collect her & the other 2 kids & 7 other carers & their kids & meeting the others (carers whom drive) all at a local park for a Chrissy pincic!!! Yikes... I woke up at 3am scared they wont be wtaching her & she will crawl off & eat a bee or something!!! hee hee I know irrational paranoid Mummy here!!!! There'll be something like 12 adults & they can only have 4 kids each, our carer has 3 including Indah... I hope she has fun, she happily went to her again this morning... I started taking cloth nappies for the carer to use & when mum went to pick Indah up last night the carer said "OOOH tell Tracey I am terribly sorry but she poo'd in the cloth nappy!! hee hee It was solid & rolled straight into the loo... hee hee what does she think I do with cloth nappies at home!???

Cass I hope Kaitlyn is Ok & the cough & hernia are all OK!

Indah has cut 2 molars! She's been a bit groizzly, but runny poo's & I noticed the 2 teeth on the weekend!!!

Cass sorry dont have any hernia experience. I do know its a relatively common thing though. Hope your day at work today isnt too stressful. Was Kaitlyn happy to see Santa? We are having our shots done this weekend and while Sammy was excitedly waving to him the other day I hope he doesnt cry lol. I have all these pics of the girls growing up with one of them at least crying ....poor babes.

Anyone want a very gizzly 16 month old? She's teething atm and such a pain! I do lov eher though....she has taken to giving Ned big cuddles. When he's on the floor having tummy time she sits in front of him and claps when he holds his head up high. Ahhhhh it makes me cry!

Soph that is just precious!!! Arent those just the sweetest moments! I had one the other night when livvy had come into our bed and Sammy had woken up happy to see her collapsed and fell asleep on her lol. Sorry Luc's teeth are giving her grief..they are such a pain for them. Id gladly have her if we werent so far away lol...think her and Sammy would have a ball.

So deliciously hot here. Ive been playing in the pool with the kids though im so ashamed of my white legs lol...need some sun!

Well how wrong I was... Indah had a ball & there were a heap of kids & apparently she waved & said Hello to everyone... on numerous occasions over & over again...
Then a Santa came & she had her photo taken with him, I am shocked as she cuddles in & looks away & is scared of Santa, yet she happily sat on his knee & the carer took a photo & they all got small gifts.... Indah got a toy Giraffe! She thought it was pretty cool when I made a noise with it & then wouldnt put it down...!
OOOh makes me sad that I missed it, looks like I'll be off somewhere over the weekend trying to get a pic of girls & Santa!!!!

Jo - If you need to tan your legs go the fake option, remember skin cancer does happen. I am sooooooo careful now! Oh Sammy sounds so cute. Yeap the teeth are a pain - the eye teeth. So i guess after this lot it's just the seconds lot of molars to look forward too and by then we'll be going through it all again with Ned!

Oh I have a sudden urge to return to work. It will probably pass in an hour or so LOL. I am technically still employed with a very large public sector dept and a PERFECT position has come up in Hobart (where I'm from originally, my parents and grandma's are still there). I've put it to DH asking if he'd like to be a SAHD.....we'll see what happens. Do you think I'm nuts?

I miss my kids terribly, but I also get satisfaction from working... I hate work ATM coiz it's hectic, I have MS & because I want to enjoy the excitement of the lead up to Chrissy... which work kinda sucks it outta you!!!

But I do enjoy having a job.... It's entirely up to you & what you guys wnat to do, would Mick cope being a SAHD??? Or could he do some part time work & mayb e your parents could spend a day or 2 a week with the kiddies???? OOOH, keep us informed!!!!

Trace - I was the same when I was pg with Lucie, reckon I did about a dozen tests LOL! But with Ned I only ever did the 1! I think I was still in disbelief that it happened so soon.

Fletch - Hay matey! Zaney sounds so cute with the tree. Hope his teeth don't give him too much grief. Lucie pulled our tree over this morning :eek: thankkfully it didn't fall on her, but I'm watching her like a hawk now. She pulls all the balls off too and then pulls them apart :twisted:

Spoke briefly to DH. He isn't at all keen on moving back to Hobart. The job is in a few places, but will come up again. But then he read my email when I suggested he be a SAHD and asked me what the pay was LOL, so that might just sway him! To be honest though, I do love it here and don't really want to go back to Hobart. It's just if I go back to work, I really want to go back where I was (ATO ok but shhhhhhhhhh). They are a really good employer with great conditions, particularly when you have family. Mmmmm decisions decisions.

Hi girls :D

How are we all? I haven't read back very far - just no use with my placenta dementia.
We are doing great. Been busy....as usual. Got the tiler here this week to finish the main bathroom, laundry and do some outdoor grouting - yay! Got the w/robe people coming as well to put a built-in in Ella's new room. Bought Ella's new furniture (boo hoo - a big girls bed) and all her linen and stuff. Looking forward to setting it up before Chrissie. Pregnancy is finally getting good. Not sick very often and am feeling frequent movements. Have my 18 week scan next Fri to see how bubs is growing (and hopefully she'll still be pink!) Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway - better go - so sorry for the selfish post. DO think often of all you lovelies and will endevour to make more effort popping in more often.

Zane sounds like such a good boy with the Christmas Tree fletch!. Dont worry Soph Kaitlyn is the same as Lucie and has stripped one whole side of the tree of its balls ..but she loveeess it!.

Well don't think I'm heading back to work. DH and I talked about it last night and idea is still for me to stay home and raise the kids for the next 5 years or so. I am going to finish my CPA (accounting qual) next semester though (I only have 1 unit left) and look seriously into some sort of work from home option otherwise my brain will shrivel up into a sultana. I think I just have to realise that I wont ever probably do the job I really want to now, and won't have that exciting challenge as I did before. But having said that, if I can find something where I am a WAHM I will be very happy. It's just hard to find something!

Off to MG Christmas party today - a long drive though! And DH won't be home till about 11pm so I have to do the entire kids dinner, bath and bed thing myself for the first time. I'm a little scared!

Jo - I think you asked how i got along with the other mum the other night at the BBQ? We didn't really hit it off, so don't think we will be best buddies or anything, but a nice contact to have anyway.
