My checkup was fine and after OB felt my scar :eek: he declared I was in good order and could try it out. PMSL now I have to find the time, energy and motivation for that!

Leah - sorry to hear about your parking fine, what a bummer!!!
dd - poor Kyana, I do hope she grows out of it like the GP said asap, it musn't be easy for either of you.
Sarah - I went to my GP for my 6 week check-up a few weeks back, she didn't even check me down below, just asked if everything had healed!!! i'm going back tonight though for a pap smear, what fun, and also to get my blood pressure checked, as i'm still on meds for it as it's still high.....anyway, probably best you go just to get everything checked on.
Lucas is still being a little saint, and sleeping well at night - last night he had a feed at 6pm and slept all the way through to 5am!!!! but working it out, if he continues like this it means he's only getting 4 bottles a day - he's meant to be on 5, so we may have to wake him around 10pm I think.
The poor little guy had his 2 month needles yesterday - he absolutely screamed! :-( it was so upsetting.......

Will bbl to chat more but typing 1 handed atm but wanted to tell dd that i had ds#2 on a dairy and soy free formula and we had a different kid almost overnite, the paed gastro that we saw at RCH said he was probably sensitive to the other ones. A Paediatrician or a knowledgeable GP should know about it and u can get it on script to make it cheaper, just a thought, i hate it when docs say "oh they'll just grow out of it" sorry but thats crap there's obviously something wrong grrrrrrrr

Lucy put on weight!!!!!! YAY she now weighs 4.075kgs!!! HDC - 38cm (big hd like daddy) and she is 54.5cm long!! YAY im so proud i thought she was gettin heavier!?
Kat~ i cant beleive lucas can go for that long its insane! good 4 u guys!!!!! although if he is droppin that feed id b careful cause lucy dropped a feed and didnt gain but if he is takin in bigger feeds less then he would b gettin the same ammount IYKWIM? if that makes sence!? if i were u just get him weighed sooner rather than later and they will tell u if he is therite weight which im sure he is!? if he wasnt gettin enough he probly woukd b screaming the house down?! good on you! :)

WELL at the visit the nurse also said i shouldnt b co-sleeping...how do I change? hav u girls got any ideas on how to get lucy in to her bassinette?? might do up a thread and see what ppl come up with? I actually like co-sleeping but I would never forgive myself if she died from SIDS.... we have a king size bed though and I dont roll.....mmmmm o well.... she has just fallen asleep in my arms while riting this so am gonna go put her in her cot...she wont stay there for long though....
Leah follow your heart on the co sleeping thing. I think people have strong ideas either one way or the other. If you are comfortable with it then it shouldn't be a problem.
I don't mind it but as I'm a light sleeper I found that their little snuffles kept me awake.
Caleb was in out bed for about 2 weeks then we put him in his cot. I used a oil filled heater to keep the chill off his room and he adjusted well.
Leah - yay at Lucy's weight gain!! she is a teeny bubby though isn't she? Lucas was over 4.7kgs at his last weigh in!!!
Thanks for the advice about his bottles, as it was, he didn't do his big sleep last night - woke at 3am, then 7am, grrrr!!! so I think sleeping through was just a one off......
As for co-sleeping, as Sammi said, I think you should do what you want. Do you have Lucy in her cot during the day? perhaps you could try her in it for little amounts of time, and get her used to it - maybe even put in a piece of your clothing so she has your smell near her.

Leah~ I agree with the other girls regarding co-sleeping. Follow what you feel is right. I have only just got William into his cradle the last 2 nights. I put him in the sleeping rolls so he is nice and snug in there and he even slept through the night last night!! HOORAY.

Anyway, the up side to it is the nurse spoke with the council and I'm getting home help for about six weeks taking me up to 1st Dec so hopefully, that should help me have some peace knowing that my floors will get vac/mopped and my toilets will be cleaned!
Better go Kyana's is lying in Lee's arms atm and she's due for a feed so I'm gonna give that to her and try and get some sleep. Got a big day 2morro my dad's 65th b'day and also he retired yesterday so we're having a bit of a "family do" for him - poor thing he was so sad yesterday - I told him not worry I'd find heaps of things to keep him busy!

Well my news, not much really. Emilia put on 210 grams this week so i am really happy. her nights are still the same which is good. Does anyone know when you are supposed to expect them to start sleeping longer or when you should put them to bed earlier and drop a feed etc? Or is it something they work out in their own time?
Emilia is smiling so much these days, and is really interactive. When we are out and people are holding her if she hears our voice she turns her head to look at us its amazing!
Had a visit to Kings Park on Friday with my girlfriends from pregnancy swimming, our babes are all within 2 weeks of each other. was great fun!
Joined the Fitness First today so am looking forward to getting back into shape, the one near me has a creche which is fantastic. I have also booked us in for baby dolphins at the physio centre which we start next week after her 2 month immunisations...
Sarah I had my 6 week check this week just gone, and I had a pap smear, he also checked my scar tissue, as it was quite uncomfortable and bit painful during sex. He told me it looked great and that lots of sex will fix the uncomfortableness, so we had a go last night and it was GREAT!!! Oh and we talked about contraception, which i think we will stick with condoms as we are considering trying for another bub next year...

Shhh... Secret news... Gotta get a pg test this week, AF came back, and disappeared again, normally once i get it back after bubs, its here to stay. Praying im not, as i already have 3 under 3, i will have 4 under 4, not sure how i would cope with that!! We were talking about having another one last night, but we want to start trying when Anneliese is about 2 or 3. Ive already decided on a name for a girl (DH has no choice, i push them out!!) Giselle Evelyn. I dont know about a boy though... Gosh, im crazy, somebody slap me!! Why am i thinkinga bout more!!! hehe

Thought I'd pop in to say hi and let you all know I'm feeling abit down atm - I don't really know why just perhaps maybe tired with Kyana's unsettledness plus DH and I seem to at each other which isn't really like us - money is majorly tight and I'm back to the Dr's again today just seems endless - I also have to go and see another specialist cause I had a brain CT the other week and they found something behind my left ear and I've gotta go get that checked out now - my mum reckons I musta run over a china man in a past life or something - she's very superastitious lol! - but the realism of it is I think it's just getting to me abit and DH keeps asking me where the no nonsense positive person he loved has gone cause i'm so negative - i don't think I am I just think he thinks I'm supermum and I'm not - I'm just so tired all the time and I don't think he remembers to praise me atm but he does remember to critise and it's all just getting to me - I told him this morning and he was very sorry he was doing this to me and said he didn't realise but I still don't feel any better...I just hate it cause I just feel so sad atm and I should be happy to even be here at all.....:(
Sorry to vent...hopefully will be feeling better later just needed to express myself.

Dd really sorry to hear how you are feeling, you really are trying to handle a lot at the moment, I'm sorry i dont know what to say as nothing would make you feel better, except thinking of you and hope DH pulls through for you and supports you through this time. I really hope your CT is clear and there is nothing for you to worry about, i am sure its all fine.
Simone, i know how you feel i have been thinking about another one already too! DH and I have said we will wait till April next year before trying again... then i start thinking how i could possibly love another baby as much as Emilia, and if i had another one would i be betraying her? argh! however i think you are slightly madder than me as you already have 3 under 3! woman! they are just so gorgeous though! I think i miss being pregnant more than anything... the first few weeks after birth are pretty tough... and there is nothing that says i will not have a really un happy baby next time round, i feel very lucky to have scored a placid baby this time.
God i keep forgetting that i want to write to you leah and have hit post reply twice now before doing so!
The sex thing is major hey, i had felt very disconnected from DH for a while now, due to not having sex for over 2 months.. i had the ok from the doc last week so we tried on Saturday night, it was great! It started out pretty sore and uncomfortable but i persevered and used lots of lube as recommended by the doc and i am really glad i did as things have improved so much, have connected again and i am back in the game! Feel more like a woman again rather than a feeding machine!
I think more than anything it was a mental thing with me with what had happened down there i just didnt feel very sexual and was v scared...
DH and i dtd last night, (used protection tho, not sure if we actively want to try right now...) We've only done it like 3 times since Allie was born (and one of those times was twice in one night!! i feel like a teenager again!!)
Trying to think of all the things we would have to do to have a fourth... It would be nice to have a bigger house, but i could live with my 3brm, i already have a station wagon, so i would just get those seats installed in the boot (anyone know about costs for those??) And i have loads of clothes for either sex, i have all the furniture (cradle, cot, bouncer etc etc) it'll just be how i could cope with a fourth... Am i mad?? Probably. But im only 22, i've done lots of other crazy things, and im still alive... :) Ill stop rambling now...
dd, you have been through so much this year that its no wonder you are down. You have 2 babies to look after and its only natural for you to worry and be anxious with the health scares you have had.
Re your relationship with your DH - it sounds cliche, but if you can just sit down together and agree to wipe slate clean, forget grievances and start over. Explain where you think each other are going wrong and try to meet each other halfway. Sometiimes things are just out of whack and it just takes a little adjustment to get things backin sync.
When do you find out your results?Gee you've had a rough trot, haven't you? If theres anything I can do just let me know. You really need your DH's support right now, hun. I'm sure he's just worried about you. I always say to my DH that its just us, really. Noone is going to feel the same amount of joy as we do when our kids do something funny or the same level of pride. Other people love us and our kids obviously, but WE are partnersand when something goes wrong its up to us to pull together and make it work out. It sounds silly, but if I have my DH I can face things. He will be by my side and thats all the support I need. Tell your DH that you need to face things, be it parenthood, illness, financial problems - whatever - together. A problem shared is a problem halved as they say.
Simone at this rate you'll overtake me, lol. I have 7 aged 10 and under now.

Nat, I was on the phone to Lee at the time of reading your post and bawled my eyes out and quoted your notes to him, he agrees and just told me to stop worrying about everything so much and we need to sit down together to try and sort through the issues that are bothering me including/especially the finances I don't know what the hell is going on it's just outta control - to top it off I just received Kyana's birth certificate and rang the births registry cause it is wrong they said I filled it out wrong I got her birthday wrong "27th August" and it should be 27th July and I also got Lee's age wrong - you can clearly tell my head is completely screwed up atm. Lee also said maybe I don't have any choice but to go back to work - he's right but I don't think I can because of Kyana but also cause mentally I don't think I can handle it atm....
Oh and Simone - you're totally NUTS!! Just kidding I think that's wonderful that you can feel that you are ready to go through all this again after what you went through with Annaliese.
Danni, we are amazing cause you will be surprised how your heart just opens up for this new person - I am in ore of both my beautiful girls!

Prolly this arvo, i just have to go out and get some pg tests... I dont think i am, its prolly just my body playing tricks on me. Its scary to think that im ready to do it again, after all that i went thru with Anneliese (And apparently when you have a premmie you have a 15% chance or something similar of having one again.) I would have a VBAC though, i so dont want another c/s...
Nat, i stil think your crazy, 7 KIDS!!! (I want 6 eventually though...:D) We just need a bigger house. Just trying to find a nice suburb with good priced houses to rent.

I went to the doctors today cause I thought lucy had some sort of ear infection, she didnt and the doctor asked how I was doing. I told her bout my 3wk period that was heavy last wk end and stopped but returnd this morning and she has said i have a uterus infection so Im on antibiotics... My tummy hurts too like period pain.... not fair!

I too have noticed emilia making conversation lately, not alot and not all the time but she will sometimes respond with a "GA" when i am talking to her! and usually a GA with a big smile attached to it! TOO BLOODY CUTE!
Hey dannik, if i stop having kids now, when i hit 40, my kids will be 21, 19 and 18. i like that. But then i look at Anneliese and get all clucky again... Well I was feeling better but now Kyana has been struggling to feed again it's doing my head in! I'm not sure if they'll do anything but I can't afford to go to the dr's so I'm gonna try the Children's hosp - thanks for the support it is really appreciated makes me feel like someone is listening.
