Hi girls, I wrote a really long post this morning and it vanished into cyber space! I could not be bothered trying to re write it either!
I have been so busy and so tired after a big weekend. I hope tomorrow I can catch up on some sleep and some odd jobs I need to do.
William had his cardiology appointment on Monday. He had an ultrasound and a ct scan. Everything looked good so it looks as if the murmer that was there at birth was an innocent one and has now gone! hooray!
Just let me know when you guys want to meet up and William and I will be there. I'm in the Sth Eastern suburbs too! How funny that so many of us are so close!

Evening...just doing the householdy chores waiting to feed lucy for the last time tonight and I saw the computer..could not resit the temptation to sit down its SOOoOOoOO bad!!! lol
Dawn~ your life sounds so busy atm u need to take a chill by the sounds of things?! u poor babe I do hope things work out for the better and u keep your sanity  On the teething thing I didnt actually realise lu was teething until someone pointed out that she has white buds things under her teeth and I put my fingers in there and her gums are so lumpy bumpy! there are 2 spots where it looks like they will cut through first as they are so raised and its like u can see teeth underneath its a bit bizarre! they probly wont come through yet but its crazy when they move cause she gets a temp and cries a fair bit!
Sarah~ Glad Will is ok! I cant beleive he had to have a CT scan!!!! I had mine today and it was aweful! I couldnt imagine letting lu go in instead of me your strong!!!! Im planning on coming in january so I will let everyone know the dates we plan to come so we can all meet!!! It would be awesome to meet all you lovely girls who I have grown SO much with!!!!
Well...As I said above I had my CT scan and it was horrible! when they put the canula in I nearly passed out! I was sitting in a pool of sweat for like 15mins then when I actually had the scan done when they put thi ink in me to see my lungs it was just horrible! at least I didnt vomit like when I was 30wks but I spose thats cause I was preggers! it was just the most horriblest feeling in the world!!!!! :boohoo: Anyway I have my haemotology appt tomoro and then hopefully i will be finished these STUPID drugs!!!!! its just so cr@p taking them I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!! anyway Ill stop talking now gota clean before lucy wakes up.....AH this house NEVER seems to be tidy its always a MESS!!!!!
-
GOOD MORNING ALL
Leah~ I hope your results come back wonderful and you will need no more drugs! Obviously a heart ct scan is different as there were no tubes put down William's throat, thank goodness!! I could not have watched that!!!
Simone~ Glad you had a good meet. Is Declan better? Have the freaky emails stopped?
Dawn~ I hope the counselling sessions are going well. Is DH attending them now too? You have been going through so much I hope it all gets better really soon. This is when we are so glad a new year is coming. A new year, a new start!
Me~ Not too much happening. Just taking the dog to the groomer, having lunch with DH and hopefully start writing my chrissy cards.
Hi to everyone I missed.

Hey everyone, how are we all doing?
For the past few days, Lucas hasn't been sleeping all that great - day sleeps that is, but i'm thinking it's maybe because he's sleeping so well at night?? he'll generally go to bed at 7.30pm, wake at 6.30am, then straight back to bed for another 2 hours. Going by a chart I have bubs of his age only need about 15 hours sleep, so him only getting 2 hours sleep during the day would be okay??? i'm finding it sooo hard keeping him entertainted the hours he is awake.....i'd be interested to hear what other people's babies are sleeping!!
Sorry no time for personals, Lucas is grumpy beside me so i'd better go and keep him happy!!

hi all
went to DFO today and got myself some bargins, I got Charlotte an espirt tracksuit, it was $40 a peice but i got it for $10 a peice and some pumpkin patch t-shirts too, they had heaps of babystuff there i could of spent heaps.
Kat- I don't think it really matters how much they do sleep, if he is tired put him to bed. Charlotte normally will go to bed about 6:30 and 7:30pm and will wake up sometimes at 8:30 for a feed, she will go back to sleep and then will wake up atbout 1am and then about 5am and then she will get up about 8am for the day. Most of the time Charlotte will only last about 1 1/2 hours during the day before she will need another sleep, and she will only sleep for about an hour sometimes longer if i am lucky.
leah- my house is always a mess to wait until lucy is older and spreads her toys all over the house.
Sarah- where abouts do you live?
Dawb- Where abouts dose you Dh work? My DH works in Pakenham too. Which is great cause he is so close to home.
Simone- i hope your babies get better really soon, look after yourself.
Hope everyone had a great day.
-
Evening all,
Leah, good luck with the haemotologist tomorrow, hope it's good news for you my dear.
Sarah, yay for Williams good report, my eldest had a murmur too, but he had for a few yrs, he doesn't now tho and no dh isn't going to counselling with me, he hasn't been to 1 session by himself yet, cause he doesn't make the appt grrrrrrrrrr we will end up having to do couples counselling but i want to do some by myself for a little while and get things right in my head before i deal with the marriage probs.
Kat, Mason is sleeping 12 hours at nite and then he goes down for 2 long sleeps ranging from 1.5-2hrs and a short one in the evening, depending on what we do in the day too, sometimes we're out a lot and he doesn't get much just catnaps.
Kelly, dh works in BaldHill Rd it's good cause it's only half hour drive for him and only 2 lots of traffic lights :)
Well i've had a good day today, i got a letter in the mail from ds school saying he's getting an award at the special awards nite (he's in yr 10) so i'm very proud, last yr he got the rotary award for all round achievement which was excellent as it came with some scholarship money too. Dh is working late tonite and i had all the kids in bed by 8:30 which is great and now i have time to play on puter til he gets home hehehe.
have a good nite ;)
-
Kelly~ I LOVE DFO!!! I go there often. Most of William's wardrobe is Esprit so it is great if I can get some stuff for him a little (sometimes alot) cheaper there. I live in Narre Warren South.
Dawn~ I'm sorry DH hasn't attended your sessions with you. Make sure you take all the time you need to work yourself out before worrying about him. MAKE IT ALL ABOUT YOU!!!!
Kat~ William doesn't have much of a sleep routine during the day. At night he has his bath and a feed about 930 and sleeps til about 7.
Simone~ I hope Annalise is much better tomorrow. You are a good Mum and your instincts will tell you what's necessary. Please don't worry too much about what others say. I think by baby number 3 you know what you're doing no matter what your age! I know you are having a rough time at the moment. I just hope there is a really bright light for you at the end of the tunnel! Thinking of you.
I will be able to chat tomorrow as I am getting a spray tan early arvo so won't be able to work! HOORAY!
Good night all
Sarah

Hey guys
thanks for your support, it makes me feel heaps better :)
I love DFO i live 1 exit away from the one at essendon airport (off tullamarine fwy/bulla rd) i bought a pair of boots from table 8 in may, $260 down to $60... most comfy boots i have ever worn!! Gotta love a bargain... Oh, and i love DFO pumpkin patch, i always get anneliese's headbands there for less than $3. Im obsessed with headbands!! (come from having 2 boys, and only being able to buy hats :))
well, off to bed, going shopping tomorrow and have to take the kids to daycare early
TTFN!!
-

Dawn~ Yeah I know. There are so many of us so close!

hi all
Charlotte had a restless night last night, Woke up 3 times for a feed, but today she has put her self to sleep both times Yay, and now that Charlotte is in a cot madison goes up to her and talks to her while i am trying to get her to sleep.
Sarah- Espirt has some reat sales on at the moment lots of stuff for only $10.
Dawb- Yay for your DS.
Well when Charlotte wakes up i am off to target to put some money onto layby's and then off to the scrapbooking shop as they are having a sale and i am going to start an album for Charlotte soon.

Yay Leah that's good news.
Simone, so sorry about your wrist, ouch! how did you do that? I didn't realize but you have a July '03 bub like me :D
well my poor Aaron has had his father let him down yet again, he's gone back to his ex wife who won't let him see him, i spoke with my ex bil last nite and they don't know why he's gone back to her, after all the times she kicked him out etc. Makes me so mad that he thinks he can just come and go in Aaron's life, again i'm left to pick up the pieces, poor kid.
I'm still sick with this stupid cold, if it's no better by monday will have to go to docs, grrrrrr. Mason had a bad day yesterday, hopefully he's better today. We're off to a bbq tomorrow, maybe going to the myer windows tonite if all goes well, believe me things can go so wrong at the last minute in this house lol. We're putting up the xmas tree this arvo so that will be exciting the kids love that.
Have a great w/end everyone.
-
Leah - yay about not having to have your medication anymore!! bet you are sooo happy!!
Simone - oh no about your wrist!! will go read what you wrote else where.....
Dawn - I really feel for Aaron, that is awful his dad's ex wife won't let him see him. How is Aaron handling it?

-
Hi all
Dawb- Poor Sam how is he taking it? Did you go to the Myre windows? was it worth it. I am putting up my tree tonight.
Simone- how are you going? how is your wrist?
-
Hi girls - sorry haven`t had much time for BB with gastro going right through this house, Dr appointments and Christmas and Birthdays doesn`t leave much time
Adrian has his check up today, he`s 8.5kg and 69cms long now. I was a bit concerned that I haven`t seen any tears from Adrian yet but the nurse has reassured me that he`s fine and they don`t develop until around the 4 month mark.
Dawn - sorry to hear your still sick.
Leah - yay that`s wonderful news.
How are you girls going with your christmas shopping, we`ve started it but have a long way to go.
-
Simone i wish my ex would just stay out of my sons life, it would be better than him coming and going all the time, he has no idea what effect it has on him. Hailey was born on the 12th, but wasn't due til 8 August.
Kat, Aaron is handling it really well, i think b/c we warned him the last couple of months that it was possible his father had gone back to the witch, as Aaron hadn't heard a word from him, i only hope he just stays away now. Aaron is working at his new job now and he has his awards nite next mon nite, can't wait for that. I'm just glad he's turned out to be a nice boy.
Deejoy, nice to hear from you.
Kelly, we went to the windows it was really good, Hailey loved it she thought it was so cool. It was on the book Wombat Divine. We then walked to Federation square and saw the big tree and had a walk around, got a sundae at Maccas we didn't get home til after 11pm so the kids were all asleep by the time we did hehehe. Then we went to a bbq yesterday and the kids went in the spa and had a ball, they're an older couple whose kids are all grown and moved out, and get this the lady has fostered 75 kids in the past and then had a few exchange students, amazing woman. We also put up our tree on Saturday, the kids had a ball, so it's all very christmasey now and the kids can't wait till the big day.
Getting Mason weighed on Wed. for his 4month check, i wonder how much the lil pudding has put on since last time :o
well better get going i've been very busy today, have mopped floors, cleaned up the bookcase, packed up toys, done dishes, bottles, vacuumed and baked some blueberry muffins, i need a lie down lol.
take care all :)
-
Hi all
sorry I have been MIA. Just very busy as usual
William had his 4 month check yesterday. He is now 7.4kilos!!
Are your babies rolling?? William isn't, I guess he needs more time alone on the floor.
-
Dawn - You sound like your in domestic bliss, would you like to come and tidy my house too ;)
Sarah - Adrian`s not rolling yet, I`m sure if he tried he could, he gets up onto his side, Matthew was 5 months before he rolled so I`m not worried and my clinic nurse yesterday said the approx age is 4 - 5 months. Adrian doesn`t have much floor time because of Matthew jumping over him. William sounds like he`s doing nicely.
-
Simone~ I love your new pic!
-
Sarah- Charlottte is rolling but not very much, Madison didn't roll until she was nearly 6 months old.
-
Thanks Sarah :) BAthsheba created my new avatar, try to put some sunshine into my life... DH and i have split up for good. We were split before, but with a view to reconcile. I have told him no more. I want a divorce. SO im now a 22yo single mum of 3 thats divorcing her hubby of 2 years. How sad.
Anneliese rolls abit, mainly when she is annoyed at being on her back when she's in bed. She doesnt have a lot of tummy time, she screams and smack her head into the ground when i put her down...
My little princess now weighs 5kgs :)
-
We had Lucas's 4 month check-up today - he now weighs 6.94kgs and is 61.5cm long - so not so long!!!! what length are everyone else's bubs?? it seems that Lucas is actually quite small compared to some babies on here. The nurse was happy with everything else, but wants me to give him more tummy time - so he's just been having a big tummy time "session" and is now asleep!!
Dee - wow, Adrian is a big boy!!
Simone - i'm so sorry to hear you are going to get a divorce :-( but if it's the right thing for you then you will be better off in the long run.
Sarah - nope, Lucas isn't rolling - he doesn't look like he'll be doing it anytime soon either!!!! he's quite happy to lay on his activity mat and look around.
Dawn - you were busy around your house!! it sounds like you had a lovely weekend :-)
Hellooooo to everyone else!
Kat
xx
-
Simone, so sorry to hear you're getting divorced :( weren't you hoping to have another baby?
Dee, i have enough trouble keeping up with my lot and i'm trying to do some late spring cleaning before the kids finish school in 2 weeks arghhhhhhhh, cause i know my house won't stay clean for long then lol.
Kat i'm getting Mason weighed and measured tomorrow so will let you know, Mason isn't near rolling i don't think, he's too chubby hehehe.
Hi to all
-
Simone- You have to do what is right for you and your children. Good Luck with it all.
Kat- Charlotte was only 60.5cms at 4 months, so she is not that long either.
-
Nah, i was happy with 3m XH was brainwashing me into a fourth. I did fall pregnant, as lost it, so it obviously wasnt meant to be...
-
Hi all just a quick pop in sorry SO busy!
:hugs: simone
got my labret periced today it hurt but hubby says its ... shouldnt say im sure little ones are here lol!!!! so yea it looks hot!
I started lu on solids...I know u should wait till they r 6mnths BUT she has been having 5 240mls feeds a day and waking up to b feed at night SO tried farex tonight and she went crazy gobbled it up in seconds!!!!! how is everyone else on that subject??? Also lucy is rolling everywhere! she is nearly crawling too! I put her on her tummy and she lifts her knees and butt its so cute! she moves on the graound just gota get the whole arm movement aswell happeining...
so gota run must sleep lu might not wake up tonight coz of the farex so need as much sleep as i can its getting so much busier now she is gettin more alert and having more full on playtimes oh and giggling ALL the time!!!! ... she is growing up b4 my eyes!
-
Wow Simone that was quite the cyber catfight over in the other thread huh??!! It is getting a little common on BB these days. I thought this was supposed to be a place where we could come and chat and share our experiences. Instead it is becoming a place to come and be earbashed about doing things certain ways.
-
Hi Leah! Long time no see!!!
Sounds like you guys are going along great!!! Wow at Lucy rolling! William is too fat to roll! LOL.
In my opinion waiting til bubs are 6months is all well and good if they let you. Some babies are ready and want solids earlier. I'm sure if Lucy and Mummy have a good nights sleep tonight then everyone will be better off thanks to a little farax! I am also sure that she wouldn't have gobbled it up if she wasn't ready.
I will be waiting til closer to the 6month mark if William lets me. But I also have some farax in the cupboard just in case!!!
-
Hey sarah lol at will bein too fat!!! every minute I get I put lu on her tummy now coz I want her to crawl and she is pickin it up well! I wanted to wait til she was 6mths but she is 5mths(20wks) nxt wk so spose it doesnt really matter... im only gona go VERY slow though and let her take the lead! just one feed a day for this wk then mayb 2nxt wk then start veg on wk 3 or something like that...that way by the time she is 6mths she will be on solids...kinda...ah dunno really! lol she did sleep last night, woke up at 2 with a wet nappy but was fine the rest of the night and didnt wake up at 11pm for the feed she usually does so am stoked!!!!
my chin hurt a bit last night but Im gettin use to talkin and it moving..feels a bit weird!!! Off to the gym and solarium this morning thank goodness they have a creche! and then bikini wax and eyebrow wax tonight...summer is here so better act like it! hav a great day everyone...
-
Leah~ I am so jealous of you getting to go to the gym and solarium. I am just way too scared to but William in the creche at the gym. Typical first time mum thing I suppose.
I hope your chin heals quickly.
Thankfully it is going to be cooler in Melbourne today. William doesn't seem to like the heat.
-
hey everyone
not much goin on here, me and Xander have gastro, so definately not doing anything. Anneliese is only just holding her head up while she's on tummy time (still screams when i put her on her tummy though) very smiley, not on solids. Not pushing them, she'll start them when she's ready.
Leah, thats great lu's nearly crawling, and is gobbling solids, i prefer my babies not to crawl unti they are older, only because im selfish and like them being babies for longer...
Sarah - williams so gorgeous :D
-
Simone~ I hope the gastro settles down. Hopefully everyone in your house will be happy and healthy soon!!!
I am so happy the past 2 morning William has had his feed, a little play and then had another 2 hours sleep! I hope this continues as I have been able to get HEAPS done, it has been great!!
We are going away on Friday for a few days down at Lorne and I can't wait! It will be Williams first trip to the beach.
-
Also a quick Q:
Does 6 months mean 6 months or 24 weeks?
