My DH had to work so for me it wasn't anything special. The boys made me a few things at kinder that I got given during the week and DH cam home with a packet of Timtams and a packet of Mint slices ROFL. We went to MIL's for a late lunch and ate so much I didn't have to cook tea so I guess that was nice for a change ;)

:happyforyou: YAY, another blue bundle on it's way. Did you still go shopping. Will have to come and see your new car, when you get it.

I find that standing on my head whilst DTD has helped. Give that a go.

Kelly~ I didn't have time to do any new baby shopping. I was at the car dealership doing some paper work. I have to go to Vic Roads today to get some new reg plates for my old car (the one that Christian drives) as I have StKilda plates on it and I want them on my new car. Christian is so happy about that as he hates driving around with those plates on the car.
I will hopefully have my car by the end of the week.

Sam~ I can't wait to get those handmade mothers day presents from kindy. They are so precious.

DD~ good to see you popping in. Sorry your mothers day was a little disapointing, MEN huh??!!!! I agree with Sam, just forget fathers day!

Sarah- I think I might head down to FG on Thursday. Have a few things to do in narre, want to look at a new change table and go to spotlight.

Went to RCH today, talked to some lady at a clinic, and she told us to give Charlotte foods that she likes, after trying to give her other foods, sort of like a reward, anyway the we tried giving her some vegies there, and she would not take them, but after I gave her a jar of apple custard and she ate nearly the whole thing plus some macca's roll ( off my hamburger) and some hot chips ( naughty) and then for dinner, I made her some pasta and vegies mixed with some pasta sauce and she ate all of that too, Hopefully she contuine to eat, its been great that she is eating.

Kelly, I had Kyana at the dr's last week cause she gets alot of sloppy nappies (TMI - sorry) and he said it's cause she is adjusting to foods cause I have trouble some weeks getting her to eat and he told me that under 12 months they don't really gain any real nutritional value from food it's more for their education to learn textures and tastes and that their milk intake is the major priority and then made me add back a bottle I had stopped with Kyana and she has been doing pretty well now and I've since stopped freaking out so much over her food thing - don't know if that's a help but that's what he said to me.

OK I think there was no special way we got a boy. We were actually trying to get a girl when C came along so I don't think I can give advice on those matters. I'll lend you my shettles book. Kelly you might have better luck with it than I!

dd so is Kyana eating better now? I've heard too that it's all about learning to eat at this age but it's still in the back of my mind when C has had a day of not eating much that he needs to eat more.

Calebs bum is healing up slowly. He's got the nastiest nappy rash and I honestly thought his tooth would be through by now but no! He woke at 1:30 and I took him back to bed for a feed and woke up at 3 and put him back to bed. He is still asleep now at 9:30. Guess I better wake him up soon.

LOL Sarah - how do you go about DTD on your head ;) Congratulations on another little boy that`s wonderful news.

Kelly - to get my boys we went at it like rabbits ;)

Sammi - Hope Caleb`s little bottom improves soon and his tooth pops through for you.

dd - hugs to you, I know how hurt you must be as I don`t get a Mother`s Day either, Mark didn`t even say Happy Mother`s Day to me until 6pm after I mentioned to him that I was still waiting for him to say it, while I burst into tears.

Have had a dreadful few days here with me being so hurt with not getting a mother`s day (I should be used to it), Mark tells me today that he was going to buy me something on Friday but he ran out of time plus I wasn`t in the happiest of moods - yes that`s true but I had a terrible 2 morning with Matthew. So really he`s turning it around to be all my fault as to why he didn`t give me a mother`s day.

Also Adrian and his sleeping is going downhill big time, I`m lucky to get 3 hours straight sleep, most of the time it`s 2 or under, even 20 minutes sometimes before Adrian wakes up again, this has been going on for days so as you can imagine I`m quite tired after getting up 6 - 8 times a night.

Good to see all the babies are growing and doing the right things :) Mason is crawling, has been for a month, did his first attempt at 7 1/2 months while we were away in NSW and he's just cut his 1st tooth today yay! He's such an easy baby, he's loving crawling although i'm not sure i am cause i keep having to retrieve him from somewhere he's not meant to be lol.

I really should meet up with all you ladies that live near me, let me know when you're all got to FG and i'll see if i can make it.

Sarah congrats on the news of a boy on the way, boys are great ;)

Hi Dawn, Nice to see you back - yes I did give him a slap and I've promised him I'd returned the day for him on father's day by sleeping in and letting him to everything cause i'm sure he thought mother's day meant that nothing changes except that dad got to sleep in an extra 3 hours whilst mum ran around doing everything AS USUAL!! well what a weekend , Charlotte came down with Gastro on saturday morning, about 3am, and its only now that is not vomiting after every feed, not a nice time. So she is back off solids for a few days, So i am now guessing she has lost some weight which she can not afford to be doing.
I got Charlotte weighed on friday and she was 7.280 kgs, so i don't know what she will be now, i will see when we see the pead tomorrow.

Sam- is angus sleeping now, i hope so.

Well i must be off, need a shower and get dressed, its nearly 1pm and i am still in my pj's, supid headaches i have been having dosen't help get motivated.

Well not much going on here. I am off bed shopping today. I also need to get an ottoman to replace the coffee table as William is forever standing at it and it scares me. An ottoman would be nice and padded and keep him pretty.
I feel like needing stuff is never ending. First the car and now the furniture. When does it end???? (Christian would like to know, I don't mind. lol)

Good idea on the coffee table. I am anti coffee table after Mason split his chin open on ours. Holding down a 23 month old while the Dr glues his chin shut is not my idea of fun :o

I had a lesson on how to scrapbook last night and it was great. I had no idea where to start so it was good to get someone to teach me the basics. Now I think I have woken up addicted. I can't wait to get to the shops to check out all of the scrapbooking gear now.

Must be off, I am working this morning (this is why I need a hobby, it is all work-no play around here)

well charlotte still is vomiting, vomited after her morning feed :wall: and now madison is vomiting too, woke us up at 11pm last night. Oh our house is so much fun at the moment.

I got Charlotte weighed this morning, and my poor girl has lost 250 grams in the last 6 days. So my tiny girl weighed 7.030 kgs. I think she starting to get over it, with breastfeeding every 1-2 hours during the day about 3 hours during the night, i don't know how i am getting thought it.

Kelly how are you going ATM? I jope things are getting better for you all :pray:

yeah she is on the mend, has not had a poo for 2 days now, ( oh i am not going to like it when it comes), but she is getting over it.

Hi girls, I hope you all had great weekends. Mine was the same as usual. Worked Saturday morning. We had a 50th Sat night but didn't stay long, just long enough to have done the right thing. Sunday we went out for breakfast and had a very lazy day for the rest of the day.

Kelly~ How is Charlotte today?? I hope all of those nasty bugs leave your house soon. It must seem never ending.

Sam~ I think one hobby is more than enough. I love the scrapbooking but still haven't had a chance to do anymore. I think I would be happy to get a page done a week at this stage.

Well in the last 3 weeks my baby boy has changed SOOO much. He has gone from the little boy who rolled around the house with no teeth to the big boy who crawls like he's been doing it forever and now wants to stand up all the time. He is climbing up and walking around the furniture all the time!! (all with 2 teeth)
So is anyone up for a meetup soon at lollypops? Or you all know I can always meet at FG for coffee.

Sammi, don't fret over Caleb with no teeth - I've been thinking Kyana was cutting teeth for about two months now and having been there before with Shynelle you think I'd know better than to keep checking everyday - when their ready to pop out they will! LOL!

Sarah - what's lollipops? Not that I could make it cause I've way over the other side of town to you guys....

Well, with me, I took Kyana to the Nurse on Friday and I don't even know what she weighs it all became a bit of blur after I told the nurse that Kyana has a little lump about the size of a baby pea under her left nipple (the nurse knew about this and I have been told many many times not to worry about it) that this lump has changed in the last week or so it's now bigger than a 10cent piece - I was expecting the usual "Oh yeah - nothing to worry about it's hormonal" speech that I have become used to hearing but no she said "Hmmm...yeah ok you need to get her to the dr's to get this checked out straight away today if you can" So I freaked abit and got in at the dr's expecting him to give me the usual speech but no he sent us on to the childrens and my poor little bubba screamed soooooo much from the tests it brought tears to my eyes and my mum cause she was with me - now we have to wait for all the results to come in and that could take a week so I'm trying not to think about it - I really keep wondering what I've done to deserve this now cause Lee's off work cause he's done his back - he has two major prolapsed discs in his spine and can't even walk atm and we're waiting to find out whether he needs an operation - all this right when I started to think we are getting on top of things finally....:(

Sorry to be a downer I wasn't even going to go into any of that stuff but I guess it's all very close to the surface for me...thanks for the place to vent...

Oh no dd :( My 1yo niece had a lump removed from her neck a couple of weeks ago that thankfully was benign. My SIL was beside hereslf and from seeing what she went through can understand your worries.
On the back thing, my DH's boss has had operations for disc prolapse due to injuries from a car accident. It sounds scary but if the risk of relief from the pain outweighs the risk of it getting worse then getting the op could be a huge benefit. It's just that he might need to rethink his job situation. Boss has had his operated on twice. The first time he did norty stuff like lifting and stuffed it up again so now he doesn't lift a thing.

Well I'm up for a Lollypops meet! No more creche now (I've decided to take them out) so Thursday I'll have the boys or Friday they have kinder. They've got a cold but hopefully by then it will be gone. I so hope Caleb and I don't end up with it though!

Well I have some exciting news to share! My baby is walking!

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting on the floor and Caleb crawled up to me and used my knee to stand up and just stood there for a few seconds.
Last night after his last feed he was wide awake and as I was watching the teev I put him on the floor but standing up at the couch. Caleb then took 2 steps away from the couch...am I freaked out or what!
So far this morning he has stood up in the kitchen, let go and watched me fix his breakfast, and now he's cruising along the couch and letting go every few steps.

I'm so not ready for this!

So what has happened to everyone, Leah, baby amore, Nat ........ and the rest that i can't seem to put my finger on right now and wasn't there a couple of newbies?

Things are flat out here as per usual, still having probs with ds that has learning difficulties so i'm constantly at the school to try and get him extra help. My eldest is doing his deb this year and has just told me he's gotta do dancing lessons hehehe now i would love to be a fly on the wall for them lol. We've got a busy month coming up with b'days, in June i have a few.

As for meeting up i can't do Fridays as Mason is in daycare that day and mondays i have PND group but any other day would be fine :D

Well better get to doing some housework, geez that's a dirty word lol have a great day.......
