Seems a bit quiet in here lately....that's nice! :)

Sam - the dinner was ok...the first birthday party was quite good but chilly except in the sun. I hope that caleb is feeling better.

Catherine - No, no, no, the first race is all they are going to win!! Go Craigie!!!!

Well, Taylor has had a bad week, she has been waking up every 3 hours at night...arggggggggghhhhhhh!!!! I must admit though she goes staright back to sleep after a bottle, so it's not like she is awake for hours. I think I am more miserable than she is.

I had to go and get some demazin for her today as she has a runny nose, sneezing and a cough - poor love. I too thought it was just teething, glad it is nothing to major, but I would love to get some sleep one of these nights!

just sent out Jensen's birthday party invites! feel like my little baby is all gone!!
bit sad, but happy that he is more independant and eats all and sleeps thru the night!!

Hey all,

Well we've had a horrible couple of weeks with Kyana's teeth but she finally has the two bottom ones through and now the top are pushing their way out plus the eye teeth seem to be making their move poor little baby....Anyway, I've had her at the dr's cause she's been waking up continuously and now I've found out it's not just from her teeth she has a ruptured ear drum and the other ear has an absorse (hmm sp..) so the pain she must have been in....I felt so bad that I didn't pick it up.
Anyway, medication seems to be doing the trick really quickly so she's sleeping again but now I'm not cause I've got a cold from being run down with her waking every night I think...
My baby is turning one tomorrow and I can't help feeling alittle sad that my baby is already ONE...cause they're's no more bubbas for me...
Kelly, I hope Taylor is sleeping for you - sleeplessness is the pits!
Sammi, I hope Caleb is doing better.
Dawn, I know what you mean with the baby's growing up so quickly when they have siblings I think they're in a major hurry to catch up to them but at the same time we just cherish every minute of the baby stage if you know this is the last one which clearly this must be for you as it is for me.....

Hi everyone, Jensen's party plans are undeway. I have found the cutest 1st birthday design party supplies, from cips, balloons, serviettes, etc.
He wont even stand up yet let alone walk!! stressing me out. My friend's little guy is exactly one month younger and he is walking.
Maybe his low birth weight and eye surgery and problem are contributing factors, Austin, my eldest, walked at 10 months.
Any ideas of ways to encourage him?

Thanks for the birthday greetings Catherine, we had a very tiring but nice day. Kyana was very excited with her pressie's my sister gave her a set of maracca's (sp...) and she just loves them rattling them around all the time and she won't share with her big sister at all LOL!!

Hmmm...I don't know advice to give to you - has the GP or MCHN said anything - cause I know they don't really worry about them walking until their like 15 months or something so you've got heaps of time still I reckon'. Cause my first dd walked on her first birthday and even then she didn't really walk properly until about 14months but Kyana didn't really crawl just got up and walked at 8months so they're all very different.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to you all and to see how the August babies are doing....i've been so slack and haven't posted in so long, sorry!!

Lucas is doing really well, we celebrated his 1st birthday last week and went to Melbourne Zoo! he's not walking yet, just standing up against everything! he is such an active little boy and loves exploring and getting into mischief. He loves his food - just like his daddy!!

Would love to hear how everyone and their bubs are doing.....

How are we all?
Things have been very busy and hectic here.
First my kitten was run over, then Jensen had a fall and had to have a huge cut in his head glued back together. Stressful.
Then my sister, BIL and nephew left yeasterday for their round the world holiday.
Cant believe Jensen will be 1 in 11 days!
Starting the party shopping this week.

During my time out I met up with Sarah1978 for Williams birthday and also saw kmh (Kelly). They don't come on much anymore but I thought I'd say hello JIC they pop on for a squizzy!

Catherine it sure sounds like you've had a busy time of late! How is Jensens head? The glue heals up really well. I've had my 2 older boys glued up.

We've got the family all coming over on Sunday for Calebs birthday. We gave him his present last night - a Brum rocker and he is terrified of it PMSL. Won't be long before he's game enough to use it I'm sure!
Still only got one tooth but I can see them all in his gums waiting to break through. I've got a feeling he will get them all in quick succession.

Sammij, Jensen is doing great. It's healing beautifully.
His head doesn't look so red so it wont look so bad on his birthday on Friday and his party on Saturday.

Some sad news here. We've had to cancel Calebs birthday because we're sick. I'm :pray: he doesn't get it too. Poor Mason is sweating it up on the couch.
Will prolly make it next weekend as we only invited close family and luckily they are flexible!

Jensen had a great birthday!
He enjoyed all the balloons and being the centre of attention in a verandah full of people who love him.
His room is now FULL of presents and balloons.
Took so many photos and video so in a few years he can see how we celebrated the day of his first birthday.
Made us both tired and broke but it was worth it.

Hi Everyone, I am realtively new to BB so I hope you don't mind if I join in. My second little boy Ben was born August 21st 2006 (10days over and had to be induced again), Just turned one and he is a porker! He is nearly 10kg and is one of the best if not the best sleeper for a 12mth old I know (sorry everyone), he goes to bed at 6:30pm and we don't see him again until 6:30 the next moring, started doing this at about 9weeks old. No wonder I want to have a third.
He has 8 teeth and can clap hands, he holds objects up to his ear and sort of says hello(baby speak) also says Ta. Just had his 12mth imms today and fast asleep. He has had a big week as he burnt his little hand on his steam vapouriser in his room, crawled in when I wasn't looking (felt v guilty) and his imms as well as a little family gathering for his 1st birthday.
I work part time (two days) and my boys are both in Creche on those days.
Ben is pretty good at eating although a little slow to take off on the lumpy food (bit frustrating as Oscar now 4 ate anything and everything!). Oscar was bottle feed (my choice) and Ben was Breast fed(my choice too). They are sooo different and I don't know whether it's just chance or the breast versus bottle thing or the second child thing! Mmm so many things.

well the flu bug has hit us hard. All four of us have a cold or flu of sometype.
At least we are all sick together and can be coughing, sneezing and wheezing without having to disturb anyone else.'
Thankfully we all made it thru the party!

Hi Heather and welcome :D Ben was born on the same day as Caleb! He was 8 days overdue. Sounds like Ben is coming along brilliantly. It's amazing how they are all different. I've BF all of my boys and they have all done things differently so I think it's a combination of personality and birth order.
Caleb rolled at 4mths, crawled at 6 and walked at 9 months. He totally refused to eat any solids till 8 months but now is into everything. He only has just cut his 2nd tooth.

Christine I'm sorry to hear you're so sick. We're still in recovery mode but are thankfully heaps better in comaprison. Got Mason home from kinder again today and am close to murdering one of them so they must be feeling better LOL ;)
