Can't wait to see them
Tiggy I forgot to tell you!! The girl asked me did I know anyone who has had BIC do their babies pics and I said "Actually I do. Ive seen a couple of photos and I loved them" Then of course they asked me the name of the babies and I said "Ivy and Noah, the twins" and they were a bit hazy and then they asked me YOUR name and I was like "Ummm, well her forum name is tiggy" PMSL Anyway they said they remembered your twins, but I wasnt convinced, considering by the end of the photo shoot, the guy was calling me Karen! I couldnt believe I forgot your name was Tiff! LOL I think they meant, did I know anyone in person! Come to think of it, I think I might have told them twice! Once when I booked and again on the day, and neither time did I get it right! Im so hopeless with names!
I love them though, just walking into that studio with all those photos, I felt my wallet start shrinking immediately LOL! Thanks for the recommendation. Im so excited!!!!
kate,we spent heaps too, it's so easy and i'm heading there again. i asked for follow up piccies of the twins for my birthday.
PS at least they called you Karen they just said "ewwww she pooed on our last black sheet" to us!!!!
Kate, It's just Logans grandfather who hasn't seen Logan in months & looks like a hippie/bogan. Sorry if that sounds mean, he can be a nice guy, some times, but there was a bit of whinging going on about Michaels Mum & step-dad. Which I think is annoying because I like them (they have been really nice to me & my family) so I didn't want to hear all the whinging. Michael has been coming round to visit a bit lately. I still don't know if I actually want him to hah! But at least he is making more of an effort to see Logan.
Gotta go have dinner. BBL
Omg lol Sorry Melly! Im such an idiot!! How did I get that out of it? :hiding: Oh well thats heaps better! I must admit I was sooooo confused but didnt trust my instincts that were telling me something didnt make sense there! It plainly says Michaels Dad but I think I must have processed it as Logans Dad! Now its funny, and not sad! Im glad Michael is making an effort! You dont have to make up your mind about him in a hurry. Just take your time and what will be will be. This way youre in total control anyway!! Sorry again about that...... maybe I should get my eyes checked!
*runs away*
Hi Ladies,
My goodness what a crappy day/night I have had.:crying:
Jett has been so so grumpy. Nothing I have done has eased any of his pain. He woke this morning at 3am and didn’t go back to sleep until 8am. He was just crying the whole time. I think all up he has had about 1 hour today, Poor little thing.
We went to the doctor on Monday as this flu has been hanging around for a while. He said that nothing we can do, I just want to ease my baby’s pain and nothing is helping.
Having some sleep now, only got a few hours last night.
Hopefully I will get a chance for some personals tomorrow.
Tiggy - My PND is running wild today, :boohoo:
Take care all
{{{DANI}}} Sorry to hear you're having a rough time of it...hope that Jett sleeps all night for you, so that you can get a good night's sleep. Hope that nasty flu backs itself out of your house real soon too.
Kate - those photos sound sooo gorgeous. I'd love to go and get the next set of Maddy's photos done but until DH gets his first pay (which will be in about a month as they pay monthly in this new job), we don't have any money to spare. You will have to scan the photos when you get the package so that we can see little Jasmine in all her gorgeousness! Good luck for your teeth surgery too...I'm sure you'll be fine once it's all done! :)
Well Maddy is asleep so I'm off to bed. Hope you all have a great night's sleep!
Hi everyone!!
Well, 24 hours and no dummy!! So excited. Not the best night, but improvement on night before. She only slept until 3am and was then awake until 4am (I ended up patting her to sleep ) then woke at 5am, but because I hadn't gone back to sleep since 3am, I just thought stuff it and went to sleep. Didn't hear from her until 7.30am!! All with no dummy!! Can you tell Im excited! It will just make such a difference not needing anything to settle her.
Dani, hope the flu goes soon. I really think yesterday was one of 'those" days. It was really depressing. A couple of my friends felt the same! Im so glad the sun is out today, i think the rain yesterday made it worse!
Kate, can't wait to see the pics!!
Beck, we're on montlhly too. Although we can't get used to it and have been broke since pay day. I HATE it, and wish we could go back to weekly. I have been doing a budget, but think i'll have to re do it and be extremely strict about it.
have a goo dday all xoxo
Dani - sorry to hear that the black dog is running wild!
hope jett settles soon, if not send him my way, he and ivy can party down!!!!!
hope you get some decent sleep.
thinking of you!
Hi ladies!
Another successful no dummy night!! She woke acouple of times but I didn't even have to go in. YIPEE...
how did everyone else go? Mind you, Tim woke at 4am for the loo...bloody girl, and I was then awake until 6am, with splitting headache...so annoyed!!
Hope everyone has a good day, we're off to mums group. Gotta run, missy is tired
xoxo
Hi Girls,
Sure is quiet in here the last couple of days!!well, all is good here..owen has a nasty cold(which i'm just getting over)but seems to be improving..had a rough night(woke up 3 times between 12 and 6)and has been very whingy today..but his nose is def not as runny so thats good..
Meg, I can't believe Coco's turnaround!!you must be so thrilled..i take it having tilly in with you is working(well, better than the old arrangement anyway..)i'm glad to hear things are improving for you..you've had such a hard slog!!
Beck, i am so thrilled for you and DH!!you guys also deserve some great news!!I hope this is the start of a very positive period in your lives!!And glad to hear that Maddy's sleep is improving too..you must be feeling great!!
Dani, hope you and Jett feel better soon..i know how rough it is!!
Kate, am hanging to see the bubsincharacter pics!!i bet jasmine looks so adorable!!good luck with your surgery!!eek..
Melly, i'm so glad to hear that michael is making an effort to be a good dad to logan..so he should!!surely he realises he's skating on thin ice!!i hope he's treating you well too..
Tiggy, pmsl at "she pooed on our black sheets"..We got photos done of Owen when he was 12 days old and he pooed too..but he was laying on bens legs at the time!!!the photo is gorgeous coz he just looks so peaceful and angelic..but ben hates it!!(for obvious reasons!!)
I'm starting to get a bit terrified about the fact that i will soon have 2 babies!!i am having such trouble keeping up with Owen and housekeeping etc..i know that the tiredness is mostly preg related, but i'm not going to be any less tired when i have a newborn and a 14 mth old..am just going round in circles in my head..maybe it's just reality sinking in..
Hey Christie!
I think you will do just fine!
Yes it is exhausting looking after two little ones but they will always have each other and I am betting boy for you again!
Take heart hun, you are a great Mummy to Owen and you will be just brilliant with your two gorgeous ones.
PS Ivy and Noah are sick too. I haven't slept for close to three days AND it's school holidays for the big kids so forgive me if I sound a little crazed!
Hi tiggy..its funny that you say boy again..we have "put in an order"(as ben put it) for a baby sister..but i too feel like this is another boy..we thought that we may not have anymore boys since ben got radiated at work and this supposedly kills the y sperms..well, we shall see i guess!!we want to find out at 20 wk u/s..well i guess we should figure out how far along i am first huh?!?i have def started to get a belly..at the top its getting rounded from my organs getting pushed up there, so we'll see..
So thrilled for you Christie...I'm the opposite from Tiggy; I have a feeling this one is a bubba girl. But then again, I'm often wrong! *LOL* Are you going to get a dating scan done soon?
Tiggy, so sorry to hear the twins are sick! :( Hope that they get over their colds soon so you can get some sleep. Talk about an amazing woman....I whinge with one child when I haven't had 1 good night's sleep. You have a sick little pair there and other kids in combination with school holidays to deal with.
Meg, that is SO great about little Coco and no dummy but settling herself for you all. I know it's still not an ideal situation with Tilly in your room but at least you guys are now getting some much needed rest & sleep. Any more nibbles on the real estate front?
Well, we left for the KMart toy sale at 7:!5am this morning. Was front of the line and managed to grab everything we'd selected in the brochure which was SO great! We 'only' bought Maddy 4 gifts (including a book) which will be split between her birthday and Christmas. And saved probably $100 which was great. :)
So tired now though...her teeth are still giving her troubles so we've had about three nights in a row of really unsettled sleep. Last night she had a big feed at 11pm and although normally she would have then slept through til about 5am; she woke up at 1,3...you get the picture. :( My eyes were falling out of my head this morning so I left a crying Maddy in her cot at 5am because I just couldn't deal with any more. She eventually went back to sleep til 6:30am, or was playing with her toy in her cot.
Hope everyone is doing well! :)
hi there girls
just wanted to say that i know how you feel in regards to sleepless nights and teething issues - i just keep praying  that I'll wake one morning to see a set of shiny white teeth....just wanted to throw my 5cents in - hope you guys don't mind.....:)
Hi Dianna, of course it's ok to pop in!! I too am waiting for the teeth to pop through. Have been blaming everything on them for the last 3 months, but still nothing!!
Off to bed now, hoping for a good sleep, but quite aware it probably won't be. Sleep vibes to everyone.
xoxo
Good morning guys!!
Here's hoping that everyone had a good night!! When Hannah popped her first tooth we were away having our first family holiday and it seemed like she cried the whole time (well two days before it popped through the gum) It didnt really notice the unsettled sleep during the night because she had been like that for Quite a while.. Hannah popped both bottom teeth within a week. I am just waiting for the tops ones now, its very white up there!!!
I went and did a day stay with Hannah at Madasa private hospital and i have to say it was the best thing i could have done. The sleeping is so much better but The best thing is that I have my very Contented baby back!! The feeding is great and we are all so much better for it..
I was co slepping with Hannah and i do miss it but it was getting to the point were she was not settleing with me.
The one saving grace is that we have had no problems with settleing her she really has just fallen straight into.
(thankgod we have no problems)
WE have got her shots next tuesday and then thats it for 6 months..
Beck congrat on DH's job
Meg hope you had a better night
Kate cant wait to see the photos once you get them!
I am sorry i have left people out but gotta go
XXXXXXXXXX
Rach, that's so exciting about Hannah's sleeping. i found with tillyit was an easy transition too (apart from the first night of intense crying) but she'd co-slept the whole time. Whereas with Coco she's had ups and downs and has been in her own cot for the whole time, so it's not so clear cut for her. anyway, here's just hopingit's teeth!
How sweet that Hannah has two teeth!! I love the gummy look, but I also love the two front teeth look...so gorgeous!
HOpe everyone's having a good day. My lovely mum took me to lunch. We went to a little cafe and sat in the sun, was so beautiful. I had Coco in teh HAB facing the world, she loves it, and it was nice and easy for me (I hate lugging prams anywhere)!!
Off to buy some braeurs teething medicine now,. Im hoping that's what caused last nights drama and that they will appear....SOON!!!
xoxoox
Thanks so much Meg!! I wish we had sun today!!
Heres hoping Coco's teeth pop and you have a better night!!
Gotta go hubby just got home to look after Hannah while i go to an appt..
Rach, So glad Hannah is sleeping well for you!
Meg, I hope Coco's teeth come through soon and everything settles down. How nice of your mum to take you out to lunch, sounds like you had a lovely day. I so need to get a HAB I think, getting sick of lugging the stroller on & off public transport.
Wahoo! I found childcare on campus for Logan so I can start my open foundation thing in a couple of weeks at the start of the semester. I'm so excited and scared LOL
Hope all you ladies & bubs are having great days.
Mel, yey about childcare on campus, that's so exciting!!
Well what a shocker of a night. coco was again up for 3 hours straight. I do not understand what has gone so wrong. She goes to sleep in seconds during the day, but nights are our enemy. Driving me absolutely nuts.
I am booked into tresillian again and will hopefully go in within the next 2-3 weeks. Im top of the list and will be ringing and begging!! I need some help here!!:help:
gotta run, real estate are due in a minute. Coco is asleep, so will have to wake her. Tilly and I are not dressed as our clothesare in coco's room...the nightmare...
hope you are all well and so are the bubs xoxo
Sorry to hear you've had a rough night again Meg! :( Maddy has been like that for a week and last night was a breakthrough for us; although I totally understand where you're coming from! {{{{hugs}}}}
Melly - that is such great news that you've found a childcare spot on campus for Logan. It'll be so much more convenient for you 'cause if Logan's ill or out-of-character it'll be a short walk for you to get to him. Good luck with your studies! Wish I could be so disciplined, but I've decided on my next career path. I'm going to become a baker... *L* Once Maddy's old enough for kindy I'm going to try and get an apprenticeship of sorts to learn how to bake. Eventually it would be great to open a proper bakery.
Nice to see you again Rach...glad to hear that you have your contented little bubba back. Way to go Hannah for being so good for Mummy! Anything else new going on in your life?
Well for us, we're off to the Gold Coast today for a night away. Our 4th wedding anniversary is on Thursday and every year DH's parents give us a night away as a present. Should be really nice and we're hoping it stays sunny so we can take Maddy to the beach. :)
She screamed the house down last night in bed for 1/2hr but would you believe we perservered and she slept 10pm - 7am!?!?! :) I freaked out a couple of times wondering if I'd brought her back to bed and dropped her 'cause she wasn't in my arms. Irrational mummy I am!
Hope you all have fantastic weekends! Will be back tomorrow afternoon to catch up on all the goss! :)
Happy anniversary for next week Beck!! Hope you have a lovely night!
I like your bakery idea, how quaint! You will also be rich from your baby room products!! ( I was without a nappy the other day and could've really done with a nappy/wipe dispenser)!!
We just changed Coco's car seat around to face the front. It's a big milestone for us!! Tim, Tilly and I were all very excited!!
Im thinking coco's sleep has something to do with teh wrapping. i was trying not to wrap her so much, but think the only way she'll sleep at the moment is tight wrap with sleeping bag over the top. Think I'll just continue with that until tresillian!!
how is everyone else going?? Dani, Kate, Sarajo ?? And to all the other lovely mumma's and bubba's, hope to hear from you all soon xoxo
Hey there Meg
I was just reading your post about wrapping Coco.
I too have this issue with Brodie where he needs to be wrapped and he also has a gro-bag - what I actually do is put him in the gro-bag first and then wrap on top - ironically it seems to work.
I think Brodie's personal challenge through the night is to get out of the wrap - he mostly wins, well atleast the top half of him does and if he gets out through the night he has the sleeping bag to keep him warm - everytime i have done this technic he has slept through - well atleast from 10.30pm - 6ish - 7.30ish am - it drives DH mad as Brodie is quite robust and loves a wrestle but it's worth the effort.
Just thought I'd share that one with you - who knows it could just work....
Thanks Dianna! I've been doing the opposite, wrapping under teh sleeping bag!! It's so hard to know what to do. I think I'll do my way tonight (as I've been trying different things) and if that doesn't work i will try your way!! I am willing to give everything a go!!It's a learning curve this baby thing isn't it!! And it shows just how different all bubs are, because this wasnt an issue with Tilly. She was never ever wrapped and infact she never even had a sheet or blanket until she was in a bed. I just dressedher appropriately. It was so much easier!!
xo
Beck, Your bakery idea sounds good.
Thank you, I don't know how disciplined I am, I keep thinking maybe I'm doing the wrong thing! Also with it just being on campus with me I only have to go to one place instead of having to get to some place to drop him off/pick him up.
Like Meg, I really could have used a nappy/wipes machine last week. I keep leaving my baby wipes at home for some silly reason
Happy anniversary for next week! I hope you & DH have a lovely night away.
Meg, Sorry Coco had a bad night last night. I hope she sleeps better for you tonight.
Yay on the car seat facing forward!
I meant to say ages ago, Logan LOVED the massage class the second time around. The first class, he cried, whereas the second time we went everyone kept saying how much he looked like he was enjoying the massage.
hi guys!
Well, not a huge improvement. She slept 6.40pm-4.35am which is good, but then was awake for 2 hours. Just dont' know why she is waking at this time or earlier and not going back to sleep. It's driving us all insane. Poor tilly is just getting the worst nights sleep. Hoping that if I persevere and let her cry that it will work out in the end. I do go in alot, but there's not alot I can do when I refuse to feed her during the night or give her a dummy. I know she doesn't need either. So it's a bit of a waiting game!
Hope everyone's having a good weekend. Beautiful weather here agian...think I'll have to get coco outside for a walk .
xoxo
Morning Ladies,
I am still here, I have been missing in action as I got a virus on my computer and had no idea. My brother has been working on it since Tuesday. I have been so lost without it.
My goodness we have still got the flu in this house. I have been to my doctors with Jett and I, and he said “just ride it out”. Well let me tell you all it has been a very long ride so far. It has been three weeks so I am hoping it is at the end of its run. I have been pretty much house bound apart from my walk everyday as I don’t want to make all my family and friends sick, I haven’t been to Mother’s group or to see my Mum for about a week now.
Anyway good news is I have got Jett’s spot in childcare. He is only going 2 days a week and he starts in the first week of August. I went down for orientation day with him the other day and he seemed to enjoy it.
I have no idea of what I am going to do with him on Monday, Tuesday and Friday’s yet. I guess I have a month to work that out.
No teeth yet here either, I don’t even check his mouth now cause I have just decided that he will never get them. My MIL told me the other day that Ben didn’t get teeth till his 1st birthday, OMG. I am going to go loopy if I have to wait that long. I got my first teeth at 5 months, so who knows?
Beck – I too went to the Kmart sale but only got a few things. I am waiting till the Target sale because it is normally got more range. Last year when they had the sale I think we got Jett every fisher price toy that was made so he really doesn’t need anything. I got it for him last Christmas as I knew cash would be limited this year when it comes to buying him toys.
:confetti: Congrats on the job for DH. That is sure going to make life easier for you all. Hope you enjoyed your coffee, I think I would have popped a bottle of champers.
Kate – Hi Love, I hope that your surgery goes well, I will be booking mine in as soon as I have the spare $1000, who knows when that will be properly never.
I have never heard of Bubsincharacter photos so I am so keen to see them, let me know when you post them on Jasmines site.
Meg – wow, Coco and no dummy, that is fantastic. Jett only has it to fall asleep with at the start and then doesn’t really want it, which is good. My step sister stoped using hers that first day she went to primary school which I think is really bad.
I did the same thing the other night, Jett was crying and I put a pillow over my head and went back to sleep, how bad is that. I was so lazy that I just ignored him.
We have a budget too but never truly stick to it, so don’t feel bad if you don’t we all have good intensions.
Meg, I know that it is hard to just “let them cry ” but that is what I had to do at the hospital. It is so bloody hard but when you have do everything else what is left to do?
Jett gets that bad that he vomits, I pick him up before he gets to this but normally he will go to sleep before this happens. I wish I could come over and help you, I know how hard it is. If you need to chat I am around.
Tiggy – I hope thing are better for you, holidays must be crazy in your place? Thanks for the chat the other day, it really made a bad day better, so thanks. I hope Ivy and Noah get over their colds soon so you can get some sleep, I know how you must feel but you have double the work, You are a champ!!
Christie – I agree with Tiggy I reckon you are going to do just fine. You look like a natural mumma. I will put my money on another boy too. How cute about the start of your belly. I can’t wait to be pregnant again I loved having a round hard belly as apposed to the pot gut I have or should say had (now I just have flab and road maps, haha).
Sam – Hope all is going well with you all. :)
Melly - Hope all is going well with you as well, How are logan's swimming lessons going? Are you still going?
Hope everyone else is doing well. Hugs to you all:hug:
Betta go and do my housework.
BBL now that my laptop is back. :p
well we are having a hellish day!! owen has been crying and cranky since he woke up, he stopped while we were out at the shops then started up again when we got home..ugh..ben is in bed since he's on night shift at work tonight(can't help being a bit resentful of him-i'm tired too!!)and have just put owen in bed since he is tired..he's just had an hr sleep but i got him up and was going to give him an early dinner but he cracked it..hate hearing him cry and don't know how to help him...only 3 more hrs left of this day til bed time(thats a terrible thing to say isn't it???)
{{{{{Christie}}}}}} We're in the same pattern here at the moment if that helps even slightly! :( Maddy has been miserable all day and started screaming when our friends came over for dinner. She's overtired but won't sleep properly so we put her down screaming in her cot for a nap. Cried for 1/2hr but finally slept for a good hour and now she's crying inconsolably again. *sigh*
Owen went to bed at 7 thank goodness and have not heard from him since..hopefully he'll be right now..i hope maddy has setlled down for you too beck!!it sucks when they have a day like that!!since owen doesn't cry much, when he does i find it so hard to deal with it..i hope the next bub isn't a crier!!although i guess i would get more immune to it huh?!well i'm going to fall into bed..am exhausted after this crazy day..
PS we bought owen his big xmas/bday pressies today!!(well laybyed them)we got him the fisher price learning house(bday) and for xmas the fisher price roll around roll and roar dinosaur and also the f/price bounce and spin zebra(on the pack it looks like a zebra version of a mechanical bull!!!pmsl at owen on a mech bull!!!)we also got him a wiggles DVD and we're gonna get him some blocks and stuff too..also my mum got him the best pressie, its the f/price toy box-it is one of those big plastic tubs with a sesame street soft toy, some peek a blocks, the peek a blocks train, a roll a rounds fire engine and a peek a block building set(the blocks click together)was only $98 from Big W..pretty good i thought!!
Well have a good night all!!
*L* Christie, my sis laybyed the Learning House for Maddy for Christmas/Birthday too! *LOL*
Glad to hear that Owen has gone down...Maddy woke up about an hour ago and we let her cry for 2 mins and she fell straight back to sleep. She looks all snuggly & warm in her bed with her new flanny sheets. hehe
See you in the morning! :) I'm sure Maddy'll be awake soon for a big feed so I'd better do the dishes before she wakes up.
Edited to add: DH brought her to me in bed at 10:30pm for her big feed and I fell asleep with her. We slept until 4am and then I put her in her own bed so I could have a couple of hours to myself. She slept until 7am in her bed; so theoretically if you count when she first went to bed at 6pm, she slept for over 12hrs! :)
Hi guys!!
Kate, just thought I'd pass this info on. Mum is trying to help me find out why coco REFUSES to sleep after 3am now. Anyway, she looked up night terrors and it says they are usually in the beginning of the night and last 10-20-mins and they don't wake up properly. Thought it might be what Jasmine was having.
We are having a SHOCKER and I am losing it. WEnt to Doc today but he couldn't find anything, so I think she's just stubborn. Im not coping too well.
hope everyone else is doing better than us! oxox
Meg, I know how you are feeling we had many of those days in this house. I think its good to know that there is nothing wrong with coco but I know its still hard.. When are you booked into sleep school? That shouldn’t be that far away is it?
Beck hope you and hubby had a wonderful night away? What a lovely present to get every year!! Did you end up making it to the beach? Whats the weather like up there at the moment!!! Sounds like Maddy has been good to you in the sleep department at the moment.. When does hubby start his new job??
Mel hey I reakon that is awesome that you are going to do some study, get you out of the house and get your brain ticking.. How cool that they have childcare on campus!! Hope all is going well between you and DH??
Danni I am also hanging oout for the target sale… Sorry gotta go Hannah just woke up..
Will post later
XXXXXXXXXXXx
Beck, great about Maddy's good sleep!! I so hope coco follows suit tonight!!
My poor sister has had to take her little Zara (4 months) to hospital. She went to the Doc who said she looks ok but has bronchiolitis, so needs to be in hospital. I so hope she isn't too bad and gets to go home soon. I am on call to go down to mums at any time through the night,, to mind my nephew if mum has to go to the hospital. I said I'll no doubt be awake anyway. Tim will haveto do the coco sleep thing. He had already offered to have her tonight, typical!
Anyway, praying all is ok and bubs is better soon.
Sarajo, where are you, we MISS you!!
xoxo
Cuddles to your sister and to baby Zara.
Catch up with you all in the morning after we get home from Hannah's 6 month shots.
Meg - Hope that Coco finally gets back into a better sleeping pattern ASAP..in fact, starting tonight would be great! Our thoughts are with your little niece, hope that Zara feels better soon and isn't in hospital very long at all!
Rach - Good luck to you & Hannah at her needles tomorrow! :) Hope all goes smoothly and she doesn't cry, nor have any reactions to the immunisations.
Our night away was lovely; except I find sleeping in 5-star hotel beds really rough! *L* I know, I'm a freak but their mattresses are way too hard and my neck always ends up hurting the next morning. Oh, and the blinkin' bar fridge in the room drove me up the WALL! It kept making this clicky noise every 1/2min ALL NIGHT LONG! I can laugh about it now but room service almost got abused, let me tell you! *L* *rolls eyes*
Well I'm off to enjoy 'Home and Away' with a muesli bar & coffee while Miss Maddy is snoozing! Have a lovely night ladies....
Thanks Beck i am hopng it all goes well.
Good to hear that you had a good night but i love sleeping in five star beds!!!!! The fridge would have driven me up the wall..
Going to go to bed for a couple of hours before i have to do the roll over feed.. I just had a very small glass of red wine and its gone to my head>>>
Hope Maddy sleeps well!!
HOPE ALL OUR DEC BABIES SLEEP WELL
Hey Ladies,
Nothing new is happening in this house. Jett and I still both have the flu, I am so over it and I am sure Jett is too.
I have been going for a really big walk everyday, I think it is about 3kms? I go normally at 5pm when Jett goes feral. He normally has a sleep which is great because by the time I get home it is time for his dinner.
Meg – I am so sorry to hear about your niece, I hope that she gets better really soon. Meg I hope Coco's sleep gets better for you, It is hard I know Jett was feral, it does get better.
Beck – Sorry to hear about Maddy not being happy, Jett was like that for about 2 weeks. I wanted to bang my head against the wall.
Christie – Poor you with Owen too. You don’t want to get into the habit of comforting them every time they cry but it breaks e to hear him sob.
I so wish that we had a Big W here in Geelong. The closest one is about 40minutes away which really sucks. Before Jett was born I spent over 300 bucks there so it might not be a bad thing that we don’t have one.
Rach – I hope all goes well with Hannah’s injections. At least this will be the last round for a while. Oh the Target sale, I can’t wait. It is going to be in the next week I think?
Oh I know what you mean about the wine thing. When I went out for dinner the other night I had one and I was very very happy.
I have to go need an early night.
Bye all
Hi Dani,
Hope you feel better soon and poor little Jett. Thinking of you hun, hope we get to chat soon.
Meg, I hope your neice is ok, I am thinking of her as we are going through the dreaded RSV as I type. Fingers crossed that we are on the tail end of it. I hope that she gets the all clear and can come home soon. I have done bronchiolitis with all of my kids. Immy and Maddy celebrated their first birthdays in hospital with it and Lily was re admitted after discharge from her birth with it and had to be in oxygen for a week.
We didn't have to go to hospital this time, I've learnt over the years how to manage it at home, although it has been pretty close some nights. Noah still has a wheeze, Ivy is still miserable and her reflux is terrible too. Both Ivy and Noah's ear drums burst. Noah's both sides, Ivy - left. I have had it with snot, vomit and gunk.
To top it off, I gave Ivy a little avocado in with her mash and she had a huge allergic reaction! Her poor little face is still recovering. The chiro asked me if I thought it was a reaction to cows milk and I could of slapped him! I have a husband and two out of three kids with bad asthma, does he think I am mad enough to introduce cow's milk to (a) seven month old babies, (b) premmie babies (c) babies with a positive family history for allergies?????
Ok, off my high horse now.
I am so worried about my little Ivy girl. She keeps vomiting blood and although I've taken her to the GP and they tell me (over and over again) that it's nothing to worry about, I am. Something isn't right.
Anyhow, sorry, this has turned into one long rant (so, so tired) and Ireally wanted to just come in and say, HI and that I'm thinking of you all.
