Babies Born December 2005 #15

Just a quick pop-in lovely ladies....Maddy has been sooo clingy today (she's mostly over her flu now, but she also cut her top middle left tooth 2 days ago and the top middle right tooth is about to cut through too.

Anyway, I also have my niece Chloe over here until my Mum can pick her up at 9:30pm after work. The girls had a bath together (was too cute!) and both have gone down finally! I feel so stuffed, especially as we've had a long day. I went to an 8:30am gym class (LOVE LOVE LOVED it...Body Balance which is tai chi, yoga & pilates rolled into one!) and then we went to Ipswich to visit my BIL, his wife & their 2 kids. Portia is 7 weeks younger than Maddy but she weighs about a kilo more I think! *L*

Better fly as John's not feeling too well tonight either. Hope you all have a fantastic evening!!!

Hello Ladies,
Here goes my weekly post, I have had no time to do it today as I have been catching up on my housework. After being sick all last weekend I am a week behind.
Oh and I have spent all of yesterday in hospital as I have kidney stones. What is wrong with me?? I am always sick, it is depressing me greatly.
I am okay now but god, I thought I was giving birth again. It felt the same a labour, back labour that is. I had 10mls of morphine and that just took the edge off the pain. I have a high pain threshold but this was out of this world.

I can’t imagine how your heart would break every time. Oh I haven’t the right words to say as I don’t know what to say. I don’t think that you are ‘replacing’ Will, I think it is just something that you needed to do and that you felt was right for you and Dave.
Do you think it would be a good idea going to that thing at the hospital again this year? Maybe it may be something that might help you and Dave?

Oh I am such a proud mumma, I have been waiting for so long and it is so exciting, it is amazing how one little tooth can bring so much happiness.
No good to hear the twins are having trouble with the mozzies, I am sure it won’t be long till they migrate down this way.
Beck – No good to hear Maddy had the flu, I hope she is getting better now. Jett has had the flu as long as he has been going to daycare. If it isn’t the flu it is bloody gastro.
Go girl with your gym stuff, I wish I could get back into walking again but since I am working it is so hard to find the time.
My SIL is 10 and she and Jett have a bath all the time he loves it cause she plays with him for ages in there. He loves kids but he is not getting another one (brother or sister) to play with for years to come yet.

I agree with you, what a present seeing the hot Jamie Oliver for your birthday. I am sure the eye candy was just fantastic.
Your hair looks great. You make me laugh, I am the same. I dye my hair brown love it for a while then just need some blonde in it. I hope your hair looks great and you enjoyed getting pampered.

Renee – Glad to hear you had a great time at Mother’s Group. I love my girls they are such a great support network. I never get to see them at all now cause of work. I really miss them, lucky I have you ladies to keep me sane.

Those pictures of Marnie are just so cute, she has got the most nicest colored eyes I have ever seen.

Thanks for the kinda wishes. I am getting better haven't been in pain since I left the hospital which is great.

Hi guys! Beck, well done with the babysitting! How nice is it when they're all asleep!! That was tim last night, he was so happy to get the girls to sleep (coco needed assistance of panadol in the end).The gym class you did sounds awesome, I love pilates and yoga!
Dani you poor thing. I so hope you're out of pain now. I haven't had kidney stones but they sound incredibely painful and horrendous. How's Jett's hair looking? HOw cute having his first hair cut!!
Went out last night with my nicely blow dried hair. felt great!! I keep getting told I look like Gretel Kileen! I know that sometimes even I think it!! Anwyay, was a good night, prob a wine or two too many, but had soooooooooooo much water it didnt' matter. Also I just didn't feed coco this morn, so that was no prob. She hardly takes any from me now. I actually thought if I feed every second day (my slow weaning process) she prob gets the milk faster and is happier to feed.

Mel - I agree with Meg I love the photo's. Logan has the best smile and that little tounge it is so cute. Jett is forever sticking his out, and with his mouth open.
I am so going to get some close up shots of Jett done, and in Black and white. I just melt when I see any baby photo's in black and white.
Maybe I could fly you down here Meg and set up a photo shot, hehehe. The photo's of Coco are just so cute that you take Meg.
I never got Jett's hair cut yesterday as my sister didn't have any scissors, she is a hairdresser. She is going to come over one day during the week, I will still have the camera ready.
Back to work today, no pain and no stone so I am not sure what is the go??

Dani, I would LOVE a veggie garden, I am sooooooo jealous, but also no help. Sorry. Hopefully when we EVENTUALLY move, we can have one!!
Would love to take pics of Jett, hopefully one day we'll get to meet up! My friend is in Melbourne and having a baby next April, so Im sure I'll go down there next year. We're also going to Vanuatu next year for Inlaws wedding. YIPEE!!
Im spring cleaning here. We had some mould, so Tim got some bleach and mopped the roof!! It's inspired me and I've been cleaning blinds, and now am doing a huge vacuum (well, when coco wakes up. ). I really want this place so clean if we're going to stay here.
better go and start putting things away so I can vacuum.

Work was really cruzy today which was great. I have came up black and blue from the 5 attempts that they had of putting the iv in me.
Meg - I hope that you are able to have a veggie garden on day, I have a good time digging around in it. I have got lettuce, silverbeet, cauliflower, capsicum, zucchni and strawberries, Yummy....
Oh when you come down to Melbourne We have to catch up, I think I am the only one from Victoria???

I have a Woohoo too! Marnie crawled for the first time (properly) today. Very exciting.

Thanks Danielle about the user profile - I think my brain is a little slow and I'll try to do it tomorrow. Have been working the past 2 days and David is on night shift so I am a single mum at the moment. I have no idea how I would cope doing it all the time! Hats off to those ladies!
