Im Back!!! We've moved and it's been weird!! i was very emotional last night, Im so sentimental. I would be fine, except I have two girls to worry about. Tilly is loving it (although she had a tear when we left our unit) and coco slept so great it was scary!! For the first time in AGES I put her down at night and she did NOT make a peep (it's been taking an hour to get her to sleep at night)> could've been first day exhaustion, but it was just what I needed. She woke briefly for a second twice during the night and i fell over things both times!!! Anyway, hoping we settle quickly, nights stress me, worrying about noise etc!! (coco, tim and I are downstairs, it's difficult for us to get down without waking)!!
Dani, well done with your job!! I say go for it (if that's what you want in your heart) worth a shot!!
My dad and mum are both giving me business opportunities. Dad just wrote a book and Im going to be doing some research for him (it's been published it's about retirement places , not villages) anyway, might involve travel to take pics!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Mums opening a cafe and hopefully I'll help once a week and I'll also make greeting cards with my photos and sell them there!! (might frame sometoo and sell them)!!! so im excited. I have put off third term college until next year as I had two days (out of three) that tilly needs me (jazz concert, starting nippers, and a school reunion for me), which is fine by me, I will just have more study next year!!
I think I will have to weigh coco. Last time she was 7.5kilos!!! Again, think it's the second child thing, Ive been slack!! She's not losing weight anyway!!
sorry will do personals later, Im so trying to rush here. o0ur computer is not quite set up so Im on the inlaws.
talk soon and have a great day oxxooxoox

Great to hear you are all packed up and settled (kind of!)
Gotta go and get ready for a Grand Final party at my parents!
Go the Broncos!
-
Meg, Glad to hear the move went well and yay on Coco's sleep.
Dani, Congrats on getting through your training. Jett is adorable btw.
Renee, I've had a good time so far. I almost don't want to go home tomorrow. I had a good time last night, got a little drunk. Not overly tipsy, just happy. After only 3drinks LOL Logan behaved well for my Aunt. He got a little upset when I left, but must have realised I wasn't around to hear him because he got over it quickly apparently and then slept from about 8 until 2:30am, which was just after I got home heh. Today we all went to the National Zoo. Logan was so well behaved, didn't get upset at all and only fell asleep just before we were about to go home. He loved the Aquarium and got to pat a Kangaroo. I got to feed a Lion so it was a great day all 'round.
-
Hey Ladies,
Well the weekend goes all to quick, I am off to work...
I am a bit nervous as I am really working this week.
Jett is watching Hi5 and singing away, quite cute.
Melly - Glad to hear that you and Logan had a great time. I can't wait to take Jett to the zoo I think he is going to love it.
You are very brave feeding a Lion don't think I could have done that.
Renee - I bet you are wrapped with the Broncos win. I must admit being a Victorian Girl I have no idea how rugby works at all. I did watch the game but had not real idea of what was happening.
Well betta go any get ready....
Have a great day all
-
Dani - what do you mean you are 'really working this week?" What do you usually do? I must of missed something - let me know. Jett singing - how cute - Marnie loves Rags (on Prime from 9 - 9:30am) and as soon as it's over it's off to bed for her morning sleep. It cracks me up as I thought I would never let her watch TV & now I quite happily sit her down for this show everyday - granted she doesn't watch much else during the day. It is amazing what I can get done in 30 minutes!
Mel -Good on you for having a good time. Feeding a lion - I don't think so.
Okay hope everyone else had a great long weekend. I am off to walk baby girl and then her dad is going to get her ready for a (Hopefully) Big sleep!
-
Just a quick pop in, computer all set up! YEY! oNly prob, it's almost next to coco's bed, so my fav time of hoping on (her bedtime) is out the window. never mind. Mel, you're brave feeding alion!!
Dani, hope work was good! Beck, have you decided what to do about your bf dramas, they're cheeky little monkeys our bubba's. back tomorrow
xoxox

:hello: Hi All
Hope you all had great weekends. I ended up going to the NRL Grand Final! Someone pulled out, and I originally only wanted to go if my team were playing, but I caved and went anyway. It was pretty good. Everyone I was with was going for Melbourne, so naturally I went for Brisbane! It was ok. Was overwhelming to see the stadium so packed! I usually manage to go to a fair few Bulldogs games, but Ive never seen the stadium like that!
Jasmine has been a real grumble bum today. Her cheeks are flush again, I wonder if the next lot of teeth are finally coming?
Melly YAY on the night out! Im so glad you had a good time!! Omg @ feeding a lion! WOW thats huge! How cute that Logan loved the zoo. Sounds like you have had a wonderful long weekend! Well done on the great marks on your last essay!!
Dani Omg I loved Jetts photos! Youre right, he does look very much like his own little man now! Did he have hair product in or will it sit like that now all the time? I think Jasmine is destined to have my very thin hair, poor thing. Jett looks like he has heaps! Good Luck with working this week. I dont know about the TL job. I guess it depends on you and how you think you will handle it. Im sure you will do a great job no matter what. I wish I was still career orientated! Im sure you will do whats best for you and your family. Being a team leader would probably mean more flexibility so Im sure it cant hurt to try!!
Meg Very glad to hear you are all settled in. Bugger at the computer being right next to Cocos bed! But remember it could be worse. You could still be living by those horrid neighbours of yours! It must have been sad to move, but I bet in a couple of weeks you wont even remember how it felt to live there IYKWIM! Now what happens? Are you going to stay with the inlaws for a long time or look to move out asap? Sounds like you will be busy with working too! How cool do those jobs sound!! College will always be there for you. You have had so much going on of late that I dont blame you for deferring for a little while! Plus those jobs are too cool to pass up! I must weigh Jasmine too. I have no idea how much she weighs lol!
Everyone else I hope you are all well. I hope all of your babies are well too!
P.S Has anyone of you guys ordered any of that miessence vitamin stuff they advertise up the top of the page? I bought some last week and Im expecting it to arrive tomorrow, but I havent really had any experience with vitamins and supplements before, but I figure it couldnt hurt. Most people on BB that have ordered it, rave about it, but I just thought Id ask, because I know you guys......
Take Care xoxo

Hello Girls,
Okay girls I have applied for the Team Leader position. I guess I don’t have to stress about it yet, I may not even get it.
Tiggy - :hello: Hope everything is going well with you. Nothing to report here. Tired from work and all the other crap that goes with it. I am very very very sore from Softball Training. I have no idea why I put myself through this crap, I know why. I love it!!!!!:p
Meg – Glad to hear the computer is all set up. Maybe you could pop her in front of the TV, it works wonders when you need “Mum time”
Kate – OMG, the Grandfinal!!! Were INXS fantastic, I was watching on TV and just wishing I could be there to see them.
Poor Jasmine with her teeth, I hope she starts to feel a bit better. Jett so far just has the one but I am in no real hurry for the rest to come. I was worried that he wouldn’t get any teeth but not anymore.
Yeah, now that you say it Jett does have heaps of hair. I look at the other bubs in my MG and he and another boy are the only ones that have had haircuts. He did have product in it, I normally put baby cream in it but my sister put wax/gel in it.
Renee – I have been training for the last 5 weeks and tomorrow is the day where I take live calls from the public, OMG!!!!
Sarajo – have you had the biggest loser state v’s state on over their?? I love that show but I am sad as Jillian isn’t on it anymore.
Melly – I know what you mean about drunk of 3 drinks, I am the same. Very cheap shout for Ben and all of my friends.
Night all
Betta get ready for the big day…
-
Just had to quickly pop in while I am able to post and say.. Logan started crawling last night! he's still a little wobbley, but he is so proud of himself.
I will try to come online tomorrow when I take a break from my assignments at Uni.
So sorry for the short posts I feel like I must seem so selfish sometimes :|
-
Mel, don't be ridiculous...was it 2am when you posted? You are NOT selfish. Good on you for all the work you're doing!!
WHy isn't Jillian on Biggest Loser, I love her! I will have to start watching the US one this week is it??
Kate, haven't tried the vitamins but was JUST thinking today that I need some new ones (decided I no longer need the breastfeeding/pregnant ones, even though they're great...too expensive now). So now Im going to check the ones out you mentioned Kate, I haven't even seen the ad, Im so hopeless!!
gotta run, sorry everyone, coco is squealing and I don't know who's watching her (im downstairs) MIL is up there but so is tilly and holly.....
back on later xoxoxo

Hello Ladies,
Bad news Jett has the chicken pox. What is it with my family we are always sick??
We are normally healthy but in the last few months I have no idea what is going on.
Anyway Mum is going to have him as I have just started the new job and can't take time off, If Jett needs me work will just have to wait. I will not put it before Jett, is that
bad??
Melly - Don't you worry, we all know you are still about. I hope that everything is going really well for you. Do you feel better in yourself now that you are doing Uni?
Anyway betta get to bed.
-
Dani, poor you and poor Jett, what a nightmare, but at least he won't need the chicken pox vaccine, good to get it over with (tilly never had them. she got the vacinne last month and I"ve since heard it doesn't work that well.....).Anyway, I so hope he gets well quickly and it isn't too bad a case.
Don't worry, I think every work knows that kids come first. There's very few in life that would put work first when it comes down to it. So I wouldn't be feeling bad unless work was absolutely my one and only priority!
You're doing an amazing job DAni, han\g in therre. Sorry for typing, inlaws laptop it's awful!
hope everyone else is doing well xxoxoxo
-
Hey Ladies,
Looks like it may just be a rash, it hasn't got worse.
Doctor last night seemed to think it may be chicken pox but this morning the spots have gone down in color so lets hope it is a false alarm!!! Why do doctors plant these thing in your head, worst case I guess...
I rang his daycare and they have said a few rashes have been going around but no chicken pox, they are happy for him to go today so that is a good sign. I really wouldn't have sent him if he was sick, but they have okayed it so I guess I am happy with that.
He isn't grumpy so that is good.
Betta get ready for work.
-
Dani,
Fingers crossed it's not the chicken pox. You are by no means bad for wanting to put your baby first!
Hope you have a good day and you don't worry too much.
Meg, how is it going at the in laws?
Melly, good to hear you had a good time in Canberra, Yay for Logan! He is going great guns!
I just wanted to say a great big thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes, they really lifted my spirits!
Also, Ivy is on her hands and knees rocking!!!!! In the two weeks, she has learnt to sit on her own, get up on all fours and now the rocking! I am so proud of my little premmie princess!
Noah is still rolling around and around and around to get to where he needs to be but he is finally sitting on his own. So they are mobile! Now the fun begins (and in the school holidays too hehe).
-
Yey Tiggy for Ivy and Noah's leaps and bounds!! How exciting. It is a totally new and exhausting world when they can move, I am exhausted, even more so than normal!!
Kate, I couldn't really access the website about vitamins for some reason, but after doing herbalife, I am happy to just get them from the health food shop.At the moment Im taking a multi vitamin, fish oil capsules and zinc tablets. The fish oil has been amazing as I haven't had period pain for the last two periods which for me is AMAZING!! I also add flaxseed oil to my smoothy every day , so maybe that helps. YOu'd think with all my vitamins etc I'd have more energy, but NO.....
Just discovered the inlaws have a mini tramp, think I might go out on the balcony and have a jump!! It might help with the lack of energy. I just feel so tired all the time (could be due ot lack of sleep and junk food though)....I try to be really healthy. Maybe I will cut out bread again it seems to make me lethargic.
hope everyone has a great day, I'd better get some things done now that coco is asleep. Tilly is happy she's got foxtel here and a huge flat screen.THink she's watching dvd's at the moment!! oxxoxox
-
Great news Ivy and Noah (love those names!) on your leaps and bounds. I am glad you had a good birthday Tiff.
Gosh Meg - you really look after yourself with all your vitamins. I only take the breastfeeding/pregnancy ones (and have only started again from a 2 months break - they are expensive aren't they?) I am trying to cut bread out too - but I love it - it just doesn't love me. My DH is a huge bread eater but he is going onto night shifts for the next 4 nights so there won't be any late night sandwiches etc. He is hopeless and if someone else is eating I want in!
SOrry to hear about Jett Dani. I hope it isn't the chicken pox. I had them 3 times in my growing up years. Terrible! I can understand your mixed feelings about work - when Marnie is sick it's just too bad she comes first. But it would be hard for you this week as it's your first week taking calls. I hope they understand.
Good on you Mel for having a great night out! If your anything like me you will be tired for the rest of the week now!
Marnie is wearing her dad and mum out. She has not stopped since she started crawling and is pulling herself up onto everything. She has also decided that she doesn't like her afternoon sleep! Oh no! She will only sleep in the pram so for the past 2 afternoons the family has been walking! Which is good for all of us but totally rearranged my routine. Oh well.
I am really enjoying my school holidays but am busily preparing programs for various classes next term. I am trying to create a new program about the climate change which has really encouraged me to look around our house and try to do things differently.
The washing machine has stopped time to hang out clothes.
Talk later - we are getting very quiet in here aren't we?
-
Tiggy, Yay for Ivy & Noah, wow they're going so well! And they're so cute too
Dani, I hope it's just a false alarm, at least the childcare is willing to let him go, do you have pay for childcare even if he's sick? I do. But since it's only 10c an hour, it's not really something I worry too much about atm. I will worry more when Uni is over and I have to pay more lol I will still be having him go when Uni is done for the year because he really seems to enjoy and I can have a couple of days off. Is that so bad? I feel horrible, but also I want him to get to have a little birthday party with all his friends there since his birthday is on a Tuesday LOL
I have been feeling a little better in myself lately because of Uni, I beat myself up about the first 74% mark I got only because it was 1% less than my last assignment, but I figure that my lecturer is trying to ease everyone in to writing academic style essays so even if I'm improving, he's marking harder so I did well to get that mark. Or that is what I keep telling myself! The black dog has been nipping at my heels but that is only because of issues with Logans Dad.
I do not think you are bad for wanting to put Jett first, I think it's a great way of thinking. I mean jobs are important, but your family is more important than any job IMHO
Meg, You certainly sound like you have more energy than I do atm. Last night Logan & I got home from Uni and we both just had a nap, I didn't even give him a bath because he was way too tired and it just would have upset him. I think it's amazing that you are looking after both your girls so well and you managed to move and everything.
But then I think all the ladies here are amazing each in their own way :D
Logan now has 6 teeth, one either side of his two top ones. No wonder he's been out of sorts since Monday. I didn't even think of the possibility of him teething. LOL
Well Logan & I are going to a Magic show this afternoon. I have a spare ticket but can't find anyone else to go with me and Logan is free anyway. I think Logan will enjoy it, and if not it's no big deal since it was donated to me anyway :) My family case worker said she saw it last year and she thought it was amazing.
I'd better be off and do some more work on my assignments. Have a great day everyone.
-
Goodness me it is quiet in here. I am just off to the dentist and thought I would have a stickybeak and noone has posted since yesterday! Goodness me does this mean we have sleeping babies and we are catching up or are our babies sick? I really hope not.
I hope your first 'real' week at work is going well Dani and your baby Jett has not got chicken pox.
How are your in laws Meg? Mine are visiting in 2 weeks!
I'll be back at work so it means I won't have to worry who can care for Marnie that week. I really need to get organised with her care especially if I want to take on more days next year.
I hope you had fun at the magic show Mel.
Hi Beck, Sara, Tiff and anyone else i missed.
off to the dentist - a bit scary I haven't been in 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hey Renee!
im here! Just more difficult here to find time to get o\n,as computer is not in same room as coco playing. We went to mothers group today and had a lovely time in the parkk. Tilly is now resting and im trying to get coco to sleep. She's been settling so well, she must be overtired this afternoon. Back later..xoxoox
-
Hey lovely ladies! :) {{{{huggles all around}}}}}
How're you all doing? It's been pretty busy around here, and it's only going to get worse over the next few weeks. Loads of parties, weddings, events etc coming up to think about.
Maddy is doing well, still sleeping pretty much through the night (aside from the occasional 10pm wake-up when she goes to bed early, has a little 10 min snack and then goes back to sleep until the morning) which is just a godsend. Oh, and she's going great guns on the food too...loving her chicken, 2 minute noodles, spag bol, yoghurt, cheese, bread etc. :)
-
Thought I would jump on (AGAIN!) and let you know what my little angel got up to tonight. She had just had her bath and was in her pyjamas supposedly playing with her nursery rhymes cd player when I thought I'd check my emails. All was quiet - too quiet. I came out to see that she had completely devoured her zinc cream we use on her exczema!!!! Thank goodness it was only a little jar but goodness me. She cried when I took it off her. Maybe she was hungry? Let's just say she didn't finish dinner tonight. No wonder - greedy little thing.
Very funny.
Have a great night!
Yay on the sleeping Maddy!
-
Hi All
Quick pop in from me too!
I hope you are all really well. And that all of your precious babies are too! Im a bit sick here, think my body is detoxing from the vitamins, but woah I feel like total crap! This morning I could not get out of bed. Ok lol, this afternoon I could not get out of bed *pmsl*
I put Jasmines playpen up today. She went nuts for about half an hour but now she toddles around in it, from one side to the other, her hands in the air ready to catch the sides lol its funny. It takes up the whole room though! Its one of those mesh hexagon ones? Vee Bee I think its called. Oh its much better being able to go to the toilet without having someone follow me and cry because I walk too fast LOL. I dont think I will use it all the time, but its certainly handy!
Crap someone is at my door. Typical
-
Hi girls!! Sorry I went MIA but I have had the worst headaches! I think they have to do with my hormones since I started my period yesterday (tmi I know!). I have pretty much been immobile because of them for the past 3 days. Poor Abby has watched so much TV in those days! Anyway, finally feeling a bit better! Anyway, I finally got to taking pic of my hair! Here take a look! It looks completely red in the sun! lol! myhair
I also included a diva pic of Abby with a tube top! lol!
Anyway, how are all of you? Sorry some of you ar sick! I hope Jett doesnt have the chicken pox, although it would be nice to get them over with with no need for vaccine! Hopefully some of you are still on so we can chat while Abby is napping! :)
-
Have I missed you SArajo? Your hair looks awesome!! And Abby looks SO cute, andso grown up!! Love the outfit and hair!!
Beck, that's so fab about Maddy's great sleeping and eating, you must be soooo relieved. It makes sooo much difference when you dont' have to get up to bubs. Saying that, I had to get up last night to check Tilly as she was in the top bunk! So even when Im not up for baby, Im up for something (toilet, whatever...I always seem to wake). Kate, hope you're feeling ok, love that it could be detox!! What vitamins did you get?
Sarajo, I hope your headaches get better, you poor thing.
Tim and I are off to a wedding today, a friend I went to school with. Looking forward to it, except it's overcast and it's an outdoor ceremony (with no undercover for miles). Hope it fines up.
have a great one girls and bubs!! oxxoox
-
Your hair looks great Sara - love Abby's tube top! SO cute. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Just when I was back in the land of the living I've come down with a cold - runny nose, cough and a head ache that will not go away. YOu ladies must think I must be the sickest person ever - but usually I am not. I didn't even get this sick at school and I was surrounded with littlies all day long.
Have fun at the wedding Meg.
I hope you are feeling better soon Kate - what vitamins are you on?
-
Thanks ladies! I tell you I dont know if I have ever done anything that drastic to my hair! A change was much needed though!
Meg hav a great time at the wedding! I hope the weather is nice for you! I love weddings!
Renee I hope you feel better soon! I dont think of you as being sick all the time! You know once you get something your resistance can go down making it easier for you to catch whatever is going around! Are you on any vitamins?
-
Afternoon All
WOW Sarajo your hair looks excellent! Check you out in those photos too! Youre looking fabulous!! Abby is too cute. I love that outfit! I hope youre not getting headaches like you used to when you were pregnant. Poor thing how horrible! AF is bound to make your hormones all over the place. Not fair is it!
Meg Have fun at the wedding! More and more Im hearing of people getting married on Fridays now! I hope the weather gets better too. I have to drive down to Wollongong tonight with Jasmine, and its not a nice drive in the rain!
Renee sorry to hear you are not well! What a bugger! I hope you get well soon! Do you go back to work when school holidays are over? Im sorry I must have missed it, but are you a teacher? What grade? PMSL @ Marnie with the zinc cream! Thats classic!
If you click on the advertisement on the top of the page you will see the vitamins Im taking. Its not so much vitamins, as a probiotic. Day 3 now and I feel a bit better today. Still a runny nose but I dont feel sick now. I must admit that I did hop out of bed this morning and so far I havent wanted to go back to bed! Even though I dont usually get to, I always want to go back and get more sleep. I had a late night last night too. I went to bed around 3am, so the fact that Im not tired is pretty huge! Im not noticing a change in my crankiness though. Though that could just be Michaels fault. Pmsl. Im taking the Fast Tract liquid first and then Im moving onto the powder in a couple of weeks! There is a thread about it all here
Everyone else I hope you are well! Rach I miss you where are you, how is Hannah! Christie how is the pregnancy going? How is Owen!! Melly how are you, I read your punching bag post. Nuts to your ex, take your friend, if you get stuck though, I'll go with you! Id take the friend and stick it to the ex! Tiggy How are the twins? I hope Ivy and Noah are both well. Now they are both mobile I bet you will be very very busy, not that you arent already! Sounds like Ivy will be crawling in a matter of days!! Dani how is Jett? Is it chicken pox? Poor baby I hope all is well! Beck sounds like you are well, and so is Maddy. YAY for the great eating. Its fun sharing your food with them isnt it! Sami are you still around?
Did I miss anyone? Probably. Sorry if I have. I keep getting distracted! I dont know if I mentioned it or not, but the other weekend we had some huge winds here in Sydney, and one of my huge gumtrees out the back fell down and took out the neighbours gazebo and fence! Anyway turns out it had termites, so all the houses around us have been checked and we found the nest.... Down at my parents house which is in the next street over (they live behind my next door neighbours) ! PMSL Anyway the council is here now picking up the tree. It was around 12 metres tall so you can imagine how much wood there is here that theyre picking up! Making so much noise and Jasmine isnt even stirring in her sleep lol!
-
Hi All,
Looks like it defiantly wasn’t chicken pox, the rash has lessened and now is almost gone. I wonder what it could have been if it was chicken pox?? Maybe something he ate. I was thinking it may have been his nappy as the rash was mainly around that area where it goes. I have swapped to the new style of Huggies and he has had the rash.
Tiggy - Oh, I know that I am not bad for wanting to put Jett first but I am just over the whole work thing. I am not sure if I am going to stay. I forgot how much I hated being chained to a desk. I had worked in a call centre for 4.5 years and I hated it.
I am so not sure if I am going to stay.
Seeing I got the bill for my trip to hospital the other week an it came in at $1499 I need to work for a few more months to pay for that  .
I thought I had ambulance cover with my private help insurance, turns out I don’t!! I am so devastated seeing that I only went 100 meters across the road in it.
Glad to hear that Ivy is on her way to being mobile. Jett was on all fours tonight and then just nose planted into the floors boards and gave himself a blood nose, opps, Bad Mummy!!!!
I love the new shot of the two of them.
Renee - Life never stops for us mothers. If it not washing it is the dishes and if not them it is picking up after our DH (well in my case that is).
I know what you mean about the babies come first.
No good to hear that you have got a cold, maybe it is the change in the weather? I don’t think I have ever been as sick as since I have had Jett. I seem to get every single thing that is going around.
I am with Kate, PMSL at the zinc cream. I hope it wasn’t harmful for her at all? Did you get some happy snaps of it. I know I would have been in there flashing away.
Sarajo – I love your hair!!!!! I have just had a look. I would love to get my hair cut and styled like that but mine is the biggest mop and it would never sit like that.
Abby looks so cute in her top.
I have just checked out the photos and the video, my goodness she is beautiful. I am sure you are both so much in love with her. It is so funny I didn’t think I could love anyone as much as I do Jett. Being a Mum is the best thing!!
Hope the headaches get better.
Melly – I forgot to say well done to Logan, I don’t think Jett is going to crawl. I have been told it is not good if they go straight to walking so I am hoping that he starts to show some signs of crawling.
Kate – I have been trying that thing that you suggested from Gymbaroo but he flips it when ever he is on his tummy. I think it may be that he can’t get grip on the floor boards.
Ben and I got married on a Friday night. It was daylight savings so we got married at about 6pm, it was the best as everyone could have drinks and not worry about getting up the next day for work.
No need for a playpen here as Jett doesn’t move much, Heheh!!!
Meg – I did herbalife too, what did you think of it? I didn’t think much. I did it for weight loss and I put more weight on when I did it than when I did weight watches. I don’t think I would do it again.
How is life at the in-laws going? I think I could live with my MIL but not for a long period she is pretty controlling. I really don’t think it would work. Tilly would be wrapped with foxtel; I know my SIL who is 10 loved it when we had it.
Hope you have a great time at the wedding, hope the rain holds off.
Beck – Good on Maddy!!! I am so glad that things are getting back on track for you all.
I have mother’s group today, we had decide that will meet on weekends sometimes and the dad’s are going to come. Ben will do anything to get out of coming, he really hates to socialize. It drives me made as I love it, you normally have to drag him kicking and screaming if we have to go somewhere.
Jett is still sleeping Yeh!!!
Better go and do his veggies.
:hello: Have a great day everyone.
Sorry for the massive post, I miss so much being at work.
-
Wow Dani- what a post! I think I must of missed (i don't know how I am on here 24/7 at the moment!) when you went to hospital. What happened? Bummer about the cost - I am sure you'll be getting that ambulance cover straight away. It's amazing how much it costs. When I had a car accident they had to fly me from here to Dubbo (3 hours) and all I could think of (in a neck brace & spinal board) is how much is this going to cost? You really shouldn't have to think like that. Anyway I didn't have to pay a cent - insurance from the driver - thank goodness. Marnie is sleeping too! But she will wake up any minute and i haven't had a shower yet. Better hurry!
YOu can teach Jett to crawl later on if you think he'll start walking straight away. I teach Kinders to recrawl as part of their fine/gross motor skills. I have a great program if you want it later on...
Kate - I only teach permanently one day a week in year 5,6 and Kinder. I usually pick up 2 days casual as well - which is great money!!!!!!!!! I think vitamins would be great - I currently take pregnancy/breastfeeding ones!
Have a great day everyone! Enjoy the weather!
I hope the wedding was fun Meg!

Hey gorgeous girls! Hope you're all having delightful days - it's turned from a yucky overcast day here in Brisbane to quite sunny now.
Been out and about with my best friends this morning...we don't see each other that frequently (every 6-8weeks) but we've been friends since Year 9 in high school. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends; and although I'm the only one with a baby at this point, one of my friends this morning told me they're into their 2nd month of TTC. SO excited for her! :)
Anyway, we're back home (Maddy is having a cry in her cot because she has decided she won't nap even though she's sooooo tired) and we'll have to go back out in a few hours. My twin brothers turned 21 about 2 weeks ago and their party is tonight.
Man, I really should stop being so slack and do a big long personal post to you all!

Hi guys,
Im here still!! The computer here has been SOOOOOOOOO slow, but tim changed their plan yesterday and it's fast again...thank goodness!!
WEdding was lovely. I had a few champagnes and I know I looked completely drunk, but I was just sooooooooo tired. Can't do the late nights. Spent yesterday in a daze, well the morning anyway. Had a nap and was back to normal by arvo.
Kate I take probiotics which my natropath friend got. I'd say it's the same thing. I never notice a difference with anything, but yesterday I bought a book, it's Holistic living and is all about yoga, meditation, sleep, health etc Im really looking forward to getting into it all. Hopefully some ideas on good foods also.
Beck, how was your brothers 21st? how sweet, twin bro's!
Dani, glad Jett is ok, not sure what the rash would be, was he hot? Heat rash is very common. Did he have a temp, because roseola virus is also very common, rash and temp...quite weird, but normal!
I also think I missed he trip to hospital?? Sorry, could just be baby brain
hope everyone has a great day. Were moving back downstairs today, inlaws coming home alnd Im quite sad about it all !! Loved having the place to ourselves

Morning Ladies,
Well we meet up for our Mother’s group in the gardens and it ended up going till 1 am this morning, Big night!!!
It wasn’t so big for us mum’s but the 4 dad’s got stuck into the booze.:p
We meet in the gardens at 2pm and hung around until 5, then I said we were having a bbq at home and then it was decided that we would kick on at Sami’s (Yes, the one from here, oh she said to say :hello: to you all and she has been meaning to get on but has been so busy with Bailey on the go all the time).
Well we got all of the bubs down to sleep and kicked back and had a bbq. The 4 dad’s were trashed it was so funny as it was the first time any of them had meet and they all got on great.
I can’t wait to do it again. Ben is supporting a rather large hangover this morning, but he had a great time last night which is okay.
I got taken to the hospital when I had the kidney stones a couple of weeks ago. I got taken 100 meters across the road as I was at my doctor’s clinic and I got charged that much I can’t understand that. They didn’t even put me on a bed they just got me to get into the ambulance.
I have softball training today at 11am so I better start to tidy myself up and this pig sty of a house I think I have toys in every darn room at the moment.
Sunday is normally by house work day, I ripe right through the place so I betta get a move on while Jett is still catching ZZZZ.
Bye all

Hey Ladies,
OMG, how sore I am I tonight. Softball training is killing me, I love it though!! We trained for 2 hours today.
I then went to curves as it has opened up just around the corner from me. (Sarajo, the owner said the Curves started in Texas is that true???) My Brother does all of the computer work for them so I am not having to pay a joining which is great.
My Mumma is a very big lady (size 24) and she is going to start too, which is great.
Anyway betta go as I have to start work at 8am tomorrow.
Night All

Dani, your weekend sounds fun!! Classic about the dads!! You're so good with your sport and exercise!
I got a book on the weekend about a holistic life plan, so Im going to start being healthier (including meditation, yoga, exercise and eating). I just feel so crap ALL the time (this is most prob due to havinga baby) but I figure at least if Im doing the best for myself I might be able to function. At the moment my memory is completely gone, to the point I can't even remember words, I just can't sleep, my back is agony and I look and feel tired and rundown at every moment. So it's going to be lots of water, herbal teas, stretching, fresh air and healthy food!
Feeling rather stressed about the whole buying situation. Turns out the inlaws won't be helping us as much as we thought, and basically we can't afford to move. Unless we buy a unit, which is out of the question as that's where we just came from. Im so so stressed, I don't want to stay here.
anyw ay, enough of a whinge, hope everyone is doing well.

Hello ladies! Did you all have a nice weekend? We took Abby to a bounce gym where they have lots of stuff for her to do! She had a blast! We also took MORE pics! Well, Dons aunt from Germany sent Abby a halloween outfit when she was born and it fits now, AND the aunt is in New York visiting now, so we thought we would take pics so we could send them to here while she is in the states! Thats about all thats new here! I had a pretty headache free weekend, although today I have a pretty big one! I really hope they dont come back as bad as before I had abby!
Dani you should get an award for the longest post ever! lol! You go girl and your softball! I played softball all through my life and in high school, and then I was on a team in college, and a church league and then that was it. All done! My dad was our coach growing up! I love the sport! And curves too! Good girl! You motivate me!!
Awe meg, your poor thing! I hope everything works out with your move! Why arent your inlaws going to help? I really hope you feel better too! What a terrible time you are having! I just wanna give you a big hug!
Beck sounds like you had fun with your friends! Yay for your one friend TTC. Itsnt it funny how you are the experienced one now?
Kate how scarey about the tree! I hope you dont have termites! Yikes!
Renee how are you feeling? I hope your cold is all better!!
Oh did I tell you, Dons sister had her ultrasound and it looks like I will have a NIECE!! Yep she is having a girl! I think I will send her some of Abbys hand me downs! Im over the moon about having another girl in the family! Now I will have one nephew and one niece! Yay!!
I need suggestions on a convertible car seat! Abby has finally outgrown her infant seat and we have to buy a new one. Britax is a bit too pricey for us. I would like one that is good up to 80 pounds or more! (36 kg) What are all of you using?
Well, time for lunch! Talk to you all soon!

Hello lovely ladies! I am trying to type this quickly as I am off to the gym and I'd like to get tea on. I am listening to Marnie crying out to me in her father's arms but he wants to hold her saying 'your not always going to be here for her let me!' It's true what he is saying but still breaks my heart so I thought I'd try an get 5 minutes on here to post althought I don't think I'll manage any personals.
We have had a lot of relatives visiting and have David's mum and dad coming next week. I'll be back at work Monday and will probably end up going back for at least 2 days permanent this term. I am still trying to work out how I agreed to it but am also excited as I am starting a new project in Year 6 all about the environment and our impact (human) on it. It's a new style of programming and I am in charge so for the past week I have been trying to figure out how to do it and I think I have finally got my head around it. It is a bit difficult when you have a mummy brain and not a teacher brain.
Marnie has finally stopped crying. Bless her.
I am off to a wedding next weekend (by myself ! No DH and no baby girl!!!)
I posted in breastfeeding chat about still being able to feed when I come back (i am going to pump whilst away) Anyway I didn't get a lot of feedback so am feeling quite guilty and suspect people just think I am being neglectful? I am already doing enough of that myself but she will have her father (who has to work and will see her morning and night)and be with her grandmother - what better care is that? Let me know what you girls think - am i terrible????????????????
Can't believe Marnie is 10 months this week - where has the time gone?
Have a great night - I am off to circuit!
Sorry Sara - i don't think i'll be helpful as we bought a convertible that she can be in until she is 16kg (babylove)

Dont worry Renee, sometimes my posts don't get answered! OF course you're not being neglectful. You're allowed to go out and enjoy yourself. I went to a wedding last week and WEANED her!!! (well, she weaned herself) but I tell you, i have no guilt. I adore my girls more than life it'self, I love them with all of my heart, but I NEED my time. I have many friends that go away for a week to 10 days without their kids. ONe mother in my mothers group is going to china for a week, her bub is 10 months and staying with the grandparents. I look at her and think what a good mum, she's taking care of herself and not feeling bad about it. Forget being a mater, we are human.
I think it's also good for kids to get some attention from others than the mum, and it's good for them to have time away.
Express if you want and feed when you get home, absolutely nothing wrong with that. She's 10 months now and can miss one feed of milk even, just have solids and water. I wouldn't worry, she'll be fine. And how is it you're going without DH? Sounds like bliss!
gotta run, i have the three girls tonight and it's time for the older ones to go to bed.
hope everyone is well.
sarajo, I have had one seat from birth to about 18 kilos i think so Im no help either. hope everyone is well. xoxoxoxo

Of course you are not being neglectful Renee!!! Dont feel guilty! I know plenty of people that go away for a couple of days and leave their 10 month old or so with grandparents! Megs right, it will be good for her to get used to another care-giver for a couple of days anyway! You have fun and just try not to feel guilty! I'm sure you will have a fabulous time! So back to work now? I dont think I will be going back for quite some time! we plan on having another baby in the next year or 2, so I think I am home for the long run!
Meg how are you feeling? I hope your back is feeling better!
Oh I got a carseat brand new from EBay. It is a Cosco Alpha Omega carseat It looks like this but has a little different fabric! We should get in in a week or so I think!
Here's Abby's new pics! I know I take soo too many pics! lol! pictures!

No such thing as too many pictures of our babies Sara!
Thanks Meg and Sara - I am feeling better already about leaving Marnie Moo!

:hello: Hi Everyone!!!
Im so bored. I hate going out during school holidays so we havent been doing much. But next weekend were all going to Batemans Bay (exactly where it is I dont know lol) to see Jasmines godfather! We were going to stay at his house, but I started to get a bit nervous with how Jasmine would go in a strange house, and if she would keep the entire household awake, so were staying in some place right on the beach. Im pretty excited but anxious about how Jasmine will be at the same time! Ive got 10 days to work myself up about it lol!!!
Meg How is the new place? Any better than the old one? Bugger about the inlaws not helping as much. Can you possibly go a little bit further out of the city? Would that help, as prices do go down the further you go. Depends on what you guys really want. Woo hoo go the holistic way of life! Please let me know how you go with it all.
Dani I love that you play softball! The majority of my friends are a softball crowd from back in the day. (The boys though, not the girls) I love it. Actually my friend Shaun, the one who passed away, used to play for NSW! Hard work!
How funny about the Dads at playgroup! There is this other thing that we did at Gymbaroo to teach them to flip themselves over, so it sounds like Jett has just gone straight to that! The teacher there was the one who told me it was not good for babies not to crawl, something with their brains and that... Mind you, my brother never crawled at all. He was just too big. He would commando crawl but one day just got up and walked. Anyway the teacher said Jasmine looked like she wouldnt crawl, because she would always sit, but they said if she didnt, they could always come back to it and train her later. So I guess it doesnt matter what order its done in! Im sure Jett is just happy as he is so I wouldnt even worry. Jasmine just got frustrated and I think thats whats pushed her to taking steps now!
Sarajo Abby is just toooo cute! Her eyes are just breathtaking!! I love how you do her hair. Jasmine doesnt have enough hair to do that. YAY for being an aunty again. A niece how cute!! I like the car seat you got, looks very comfy! Im like you, I wont be going back to work either. I want to, because I miss having 'work' to go to, and the socialisation..... but I wont be. Probably until Jasmine is in school anyway. By then I will probably be deemed useless pmsl!
Renee I read your post in the feeding. I cant help because I know nothing about BF but I can tell you for sure that you are not neglectful at all!!!! Sometimes I dont get a response either, and when I do actually get more than 2 or 3... Im shocked. Grateful, but shocked. Then I thought of it this way, I read lots and lots of threads and I usually have something to say, but I dont always post. I tend to think someone who knows more might come along and answer. Or like when some guy is posting about his fat wife, I usually bite my tongue for fear of offending people...... but someone else resurrected that thread so I had to post *lol* I hope you have such a fun time! You will probably come back a new woman! Refreshed! We all need time to ourselves, and honestly, you are going to have to leave Marnie sooner or later anyway. Its not neglectful at all. You are a fantastic mother!
Everyone else I hope you and your babies are well. Where are you all???????
