Kate good job on your diet! keep it up girl! You can do it! I know around the holidays it is the hardest! I have put on 3 pounds! I still need to lose about 10-15 pounds, then I will be very happy with where I am at! Easier said than done!

Maddy had a fantastic birthday, she definitely got the hang of the present opening by about the third present she received. She was such an angel and woke up on her birthday with another new word 'yum'. *LOL* Maddy had her favourite breakfast (baked beans with toast) and kept giving us a running commentary 'yum' to Daddy & I.
Can't believe it's been a year since we all delivered our beautiful babies!

Beck what a cutie shot of little Maddy! It is really weird seeing a '2' on our tickers now! This year went too fast! how cute on Maddys new yummy word! lol! Since I read that I have been trying to get Abby to say it! Her new word is WEEEEE! She says it constantly! It is too funny!

I hope everyone had lovely Christmases with your bubs! We had a wonderful Christmas doing nothing but relaxing! We had Christmas dinner Christmas Eve night (don's family tradition) and so on Christmas we just had leftovers and I didnt have to cook at all!
I was hoping Abby would take her first steps (unassisted) by Christmas, but in her good time I guess! She is so unmotivated to walk! She likes to pull up and stand and walk along furniture, but she has been doing that for like 3 months now, you would think she would start getting daring and let go! Oh well! I dont know why I am in a hurry for it anyhow! That is just so much more chasing mommy will have to do! lol!
You know how I told you she is getting 4 teeth at one time? Well, make that 6! Thats now a total of 8! 4 on top and 4 on the bottom!
Ok, tell me, is it just me? Am I doing something wrong? Abby has start throwing outright FITS!! If she doesnt get her way sometimes, she will kick and scream and cry and just make a terrible fuss! She never used to be like this, and I dont know how to handle it...especially in public! I get looks from strangers, and I feel like yelling to them 'What, you never had a baby before?'! It is so frustrating at times. She is really pushing her limits. Sound familiar to any of you?
Guess what? You know how my SIL is pregnant due Feb 16 with a girl? As a Christmas suprise she let us know the name the picked!! Riley Ann!! How cute is that? Little Riley and Abby playing together! I cant wait!
Awwww Sarajo.... I think Maddy & Abby are separated at birth! *L* We're getting the tantrum fits too here. *sigh* I'm trying to tell myself it's not because of my parenting but they seem to be worse for me than for DH. It's not that she's tantruming because she's a 'naughty' or 'spoiled' child, it's just that she's strong-willed and doesn't have any other way to show her frustration. I get the full bodied tantrum where she goes stiff and throws herself backwards either in your arms, or when I'm trying to put her into the pram. She goes stiff so that I can't do up the belt/harness on the stroller and she slides herself forwards under the bar to try and get out. Little monkey! We can't do much, we just tell her 'no' and go about enforcing whatever we were trying to do.
Yayy for Miss Abby's new word! *LOL* And WOW on all of those teeth...Miss M has four on the bottom and two on the top and appears to be teething again but I'll be darned if I can get her to keep her mouth open long enough to check how many more are coming through! *LOL*
Oh, and I hear you on the lack of motivation to walk. She'll walk holding your hands or along furniture, but Maddy screams blue murder if you try and let go of her hands while she's standing up. I think she's figured that it's alot quicker and safer at this point to crawl wherever she needs to get to.
Hmmm...have been thinking today about when we're going to TTC no.2. At first I was totally motivated to wait until Maddy was about 3, but now I'm thinking June 2007 or somewhere around there? I know a couple of you are finished your families but I'd be interested in hearing the plans of those who plan to add more to their broods!

I am nursing a split big toe nail as my SIL hit me with her new remote control car that she got from Santa. She couldn't get it to go forward so Ben fixed it and I was dropping it back around there. We took it out the back to play with it then the next minute she ran into my toe and blood started pouring out.
Anyway think I will be off to the doctors tomorrow as it is not looking to good. It is split in three places and it is starting to go purple???:frown:
Beck - I am in no hurry to add another at the minute. I am very happy with juat the three of us, we are going to add a 2nd but at this stage I am looking at a three year gap. I want to enjoy Jett a little more before #2 comes along. Sounds selfish???
I know what you and Sarajo are talking about Jett does the same thing as the girls. Maybe it is an age thing?? He flips it if I try to help him. He is mister independent and wants to do it his way or no way!!!:frown: I am not sure how to change this behaviour at all...
I have the same trouble with Jett, I can't get in to have a look. At last count he has 5 but who would know??
Sarajo - I love the name Riley, It is my cousins name and I like it cause it is different.
Abby says lots of words. All Jett says is dog, mumma, dadda, Nana, bubba, woof, rara (which means Darla my SIL)
I was in a hurry for Jett to crawl as it was something new but now that he is mobile it is so much more work. He is happy enough getting around crawling and driving his new red car he got for christmas so that will do for now.

Oh my Dani how cute is your little angel ticker! lol I love it!! Abby actually doesnt say a lot of words...just mum, dada, oh oh, weeeee. She does a ton of jibberish talk though! It is really cute, but I wish she would get the hang of a couple new words so we could communicate a little better! She pointed to the Christmas tree on Christmas morning and said 'tree' but that was the only time! Ouch on the toe! I hope it is better soon!
Beck yes Maddy and Abby must be related somehow! lol! That sounds just like Abbys tantrums...she is so stubborn sometimes! When she does it in public I feel so judged! Its like all eyes are looking at me telling me to control my child!
#2? Don and I were just talking about that. We're thinking in August or so we will start talking about trying. I would like Abby and #2 to be between 2 and 3 years apart, God willing! So we;ll see when it happens. Who knows, when you start ttc in summertime, maybe I'll say to don, Beck it ttc again! Maybe its time for us too, then we can be belly buddies again lol! :)

Firstly YES we are having major tantrums.
Sorry no time for personals, Im off to the Doc, coco has sores on her face, not sure if its' eczma, but they are not good, poor darling.
House is great, but the carpet in tilly and coco's room is DISGUSTING, so we're having to have carpet replaced (money is coming from god knows where to do that), but it's important.
Had a lovely chrissy, very busy, three days out in a row. Coco was very tired but very good!!
Hope you've all had a great week and I can't WAIT to have internet at home. I've been feeling a bit depressed, I hate change, and with out the net to communicate I've felt isolated!!! Anyway, I do love our house and it's all very exciting, just nervewracking. Im feeling scared that the carpet is affecting coco's skin, even though she doesn't crawl on it (rest of house floor boards).
gotta run, have a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, if I don't pop on before.

I have just had Jett at the doctors. He has another middle ear infection, I am getting my doctor to keep a record of it in Jett's MHCN book so we can keep track of it. I hope he grow out of it and dosn't need grommets.:confused:

Hope that your Chrissy was good. Ours was lovely and ended in my SIL giving birth to her beautiful little girl on the 27th!
So busy here atm with 7 kids at home, on my own. Ivy and Noah are both up on two legs now. Ivy is cruising the furniture and Noah is pulling himself up on everything. So I have to have eyes everywhere. They have both learnt to blow kisses - it's so cute.

Well we had a very busy Christmas. It was so lovely. Melissa and Callum had a ball. Callum was so funny he didnt really know what was going on but loved all the pressies. LOL.
We are home from my mothers after being away since 22rd and we had a nice rest but its good to be home.

Hope you all had a fantastic evening & day celebrating. We're still recovering - although there was no alcohol involved for me! *LOL* We drove back from Woodford after I danced last night, arrived home at 8:30pm. DH & I unpacked the car, gave Maddy a kiss (she stayed at home with Grandma & Papa) and got back into the car and drove to his friend's place on the coast for New Years Eve celebrations.
Played a few hands of poker, ran around the backyard with sparklers & party poppers *L* and then arrived home at almost 4am this morning. Miss Maddy woke up when we got home so she came back to bed with us and then my wonderful PILs took her out to the park at St Lucia this morning to let us get a bit of sleep! :)

Missy I was hoping updating things meant seeing pics of Callum at the beach! lol! Did you take any? I cant wait till our summer so I can take Abby to the beach! We live about an hour and a half away, or a little less. We live on the gulf though, so it is not nice vacationy type of beach...but it is sand and water! Just a lot of seaweed! yuck on that!

Yesterday I felt so nausious and by boobs hurt and I was craving milk again. I thought there might have been a woops happening there, but late last night AF showed up! I was a bit relieved since we are not planning on trying on the next bub till late this year!
I cant believe it is 2007 already! I thought about that today...our babies were born all the way back in 2005! Time does fly!!
You all have an exciting day! I have to go get a root canal retreated today :( and not looking forward to it. It is like having a root canal but worse because they redo the whole thing and they have to go deeper to find more root. That WITH cramps and AF...not a fun day at all! :confused:

Awwww Sarajo Im so sorry your feeling so crap. I have to take Melissa and myself off very soon and we keep putting it of. Im Scared.:confused: LOL. I didnt get any photos of Callum at the beach on the camera but on my phone I did but for some reason its not working on the Computer so I cant seem to get them up. It sux so much. :evil: There are a couple of good ones. Ill keep trying. I have got lots of new photo's from xmas that im getting put on CD soon and then will post.
Callum is full on walking now. He cries if he falls and gets so mad. All he wants to do it walk. If he is tired he wants me to hold his hand and all we do is walk around the house.LOL. When ive had enough and let go he SCREEMS. Its very funny but boy it drives me nuts.
DH and I have given up smoking too. Im feeling great and doing well. DH is struggleing abit but we will get there. I smoked before Melissa and then gave it up when I was PG with her. Then I took it up again for 11 years. Gave it up when I fell PG with Callum and when he was 6 weeks took it up again. I was so angry with myself cause I had done so well. I tell my DH it was all his fault as I could smell it on him and so This time I told him that this was it and we were both giving up. Its been 2 days. Wooohooo. LOL. But im feeling good about it now. I also wanted to be given up for when we try to have another baby. Anyway wish me luck but Im so determind that this is it for good.

Just letting you know that I am going on a short holiday from tonight til next Monday so I will catch up with you all then. Im excited to take Jasmine away again now she is older and doesnt need so many bottles etc etc
I also updated her site with some new photos and videos! A couple of the videos are a month or two old, which Im sure you will be able to tell from the look of her, but I just put some ones I like up there and took all the old ones off (finally)
Also we got her first haircut yesterday, and I forgot to take the camera, so I took photos with the phone, theyre on the site too. She was a very good girl and sat there all by herself!!
I hope you and all of your babies are all well. Ive been so slack and Im not caught up to date at all. Im sure I will next week.

Hey ladies, just popping by! Has been a very busy last fortnight.
Nothing much exciting happening here - BIL arrived back safely from Iraq yesterday and set a record on the amount of time it took to annoy the bejesus out of me. (4am this morning when he arrived home from wherever he went to and turned on ALL of the house lights waking me up *rolls eyes*)
Anyway, I'm in a cranky mood this afternoon so I'm off to relax on my bed and try and calm down. Thought the shopping centre would be improved since Christmas is over, but spent 25 mins trying to find a car park undercover as it was raining & I had Maddy with me. Was reversing for a car park and two girls in a beat up car came up the inside and stole the carpark. GRRRRRRRRRRRR....
Maddy is well....chattering away, still not wanting to walk on her own. Gets really frightened if we let go and cries. More teeth - has at least one more up the top (that makes 7+ now) and she's enjoying trying all kinds of new foods.
Hi all..it has been a million years(well feels like it!!) since i've been on BB..and have really missed it!! Well we moved to our new house, then 2 days later ben went away for 6 weeks(with 4 hrs notice-and computer wasn;'t set up before he left)then he was home for 3 days then away again(with even less notice)up to fiji because of the coup..he got back 2 weeks ago..just in time to go away visitng rellos for xmas..but i was so glad to have him home for xmas since we really didn't think he would be. he was so disappointed to miss owen's birthday.he would've been devastated to miss xmas too..
i just had a quick look at everyone's websites(mine needs work-v old) i can't believe how big and beautiful they all are!! and all 1 now!! it has come up so fast!! I'm very big and uncomfortable and hot from preggo..plus swelling has just started in my ankles..ugh!! but all is going well and "zipper" is growing bigger and stronger every day. Owen has 8 teeth(4 top, 4 bottom) and has just started crawling properly yesterday(he's only been commando crawling for a mth..)he says: mumma, daddy, gee(for doggy), bubba, and uggy yuggy yuggy(still trying to figure that one out!!but it sounds exciting when he says it!!)he also does a fish mouth when you ask him what a fish says and points to his head, belly and toes when asked. He claps, sings(but i think he's tone deaf like his father!!!), splashes and dances..and his fave game is "where's owen"(peekaboo) but he covers only one eye with one hand usually..and even then he peeks!!
i can;t think what else now but will fill you in more when i think of it.
have put a new pic in my ticker..will put some more up soon..very tired tonight, but couldn't wait to get on and catch up a bit..have missed my baby buddies!!

Just a really quick on cause I have had a rough night again with the beloved Jett.
Not to much happening around here at the moment. Jett is still not well, I am not sure how long it takes for the penicillin to kick in but I thought Jett would have been feeling better by now.
He is really clingy and sooky but I know that is because he is sick. It is so cute that he always calls out Mum, Mumma!!!
We had a camp out on the lounge room floor again. Let’s hope he sleeps tonight.
Not much other news to report. Ben goes back to work on Monday, which will be good and also bad at the same time. He has been great with Jett and night time activity. Jett loves having him around all day and night so I guess it is going to be hard for him when Ben goes back.

I checked out the new photo’s, they are great. She looks like she was very good when she had her hair cut.
I took Jett for his second haircut and he has a mullet cause my sister could do the back cause he was screaming so much. Dad was wipper snippering and he could hear Jett over that.

HOw is everyone, I feel like a long lost BB member (well I am.)
Am at the inlaws typing this, we have to wait a while for internet as we are joining Optus through amway, and it all takes time!! ANyway, been settling in, got the Pest guys to get rid of the spiders and what happens yesterday........ an 8 FOOT black snake was spotted by my next door neighbour in OUR garden. THis is NOT what is meant to happen in the middle of sydney (ok we're near bush, but still mid_Syd)!! Im in shock and had a bad night last night!! NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Coco had her MMR vaccine and did really well. I was so worried, but she was fine. She loves the new house, the balcony is awesome because there's no stairs leading off it, so it's like a massive playpen. She's standing up alot (not unaided) but no sign of walking. IT's funny because I found a pic of Tilly yesterday and she was standing at 6 months (coco is 6 months behind....classic)!!
I am not going to get coco's hair cut. I didn't cut tillys until she was 4, but it was never really long as she had amazing curls. I want coco to have long hair, I think it will be similar to how tilly's was, just not so blonde.
Have missed you all heaps. Can't wait to be back on line. I told tim the other day I would feel alot better if I could chat to the BB girls!!!

My it's been quiet in here - not that I can talk though! *LOL*
Just popping by to say 'hiiii' and also to sneak in and say -
"HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN DREW!!!" for yesterday (the 6th). I sent Leanne a message and we're catching up on Tuesday for a picnic in the park for his birthday.
Booked my flight from Brisbane to Sydney to see Westlife on Tues 27th Feb. I got sick of waiting to see when John's work decide to tell us when we're moving. It's all up in the air as the project is taking longer than normal, and John reckons they'll give us like a week's warning before we're supposed to move. Needless to say I went off my head. No-one should expect a family to relocate INTERSTATE in a week (we'd have to pack, find a place to rent, do the move, settle in...etc), let alone with a baby!
Anyway, John reckons we could be here in Brisbane til June the way everything is going so I bit the bullet and booked my flight. Soo....I'll fly into Sydney at 9:30am on the Tues, and will be hanging around for an hour for my friends to arrive from Melbourne. I have the concert at the Sydney Superdome that night, but I might have a few hours to spare for lunch if anyone is interested in meeting up? :) I fly back out into Brisbane on the Wednesday morning at 10am, as the Brisbane concert is that night.

Sorry I've been so slack. I have just not known what to write for some reason.
Hopefully I can come back online tomorrow and do personals but I will just do a little update for now.
Things are going well. I can't even remember the last time I posted so sorry if I repeat myself. Logan had his vaccination a couple of weeks ago, he was very brave and didn't cry for the first needle, cried a little bit for the second one and completely lost it on the last one. But I am so proud of him since I was freaking out just looking at the needles LOL.. He had a good Christmas, was completely spoilt and I had to take the Christmas tree down early so I could dedicate one corner of the lounge room to his toys. I got his a rocking horse that makes noises, it's mouth and tail moves too. Whenever he hears the trotting and neighing noises (even on the tv) he bounces around like he is riding his rocking horse.. so cute.
Over the last few days he has learnt to say "ball", "book", "duck" and can kind of say "shell" (it's for his Auntie Shell, he points at her and says "ShhhELL!"). He can also say "yeah", "yay" and "nah".
I taught him to put his toys away the other week, he loves to put things away, even if they're not his and even hid a remote in his backpack for a few days.
I remember some of you said things about tantrums, well Logan has little tantrums. He tends to be very sooky though, and he has started head butting.. He mostly does it to me, but has started doing it to the floor if I put him down and he wants to be held, or I don't let him touch some thing he shouldn't be. At first I thought he was just head butting my breasts because I have stopped breast feeding him, but it has become a regular thing and he even head butted his Nanna today.
I am kind of sad about no more breast feeding, but oh well it had to stop some time heh.
Well I had better go to bed. I hope you're all well and had good weekends.
8.73 kg is what Abby now weighs. She is such my little lightweight! She had her vac, and ever since she has been having a fever! Poor chicken. Hopefully it will be better soon! We have been busy and a bit hurting with the headaches and tooth ache and Abby withe her fever, so I havent been on the computer much at all!

My poor baby had another allergic reaction to egg today. I thought she was going to be fine with cooked egg (a tiny bit in with other food) but she vomited, coughed, itched, went red etc. Extremely scary and Im going to have her tested now. Tiggy did you get Ivy allergy tested? Do I get a referral from my Doctor?
Hope everyone is doing well. Beck, would love to catch up , will have to check the diary. I have college in feb.
Still not back on net, can't wait to be though, hopefully by end of week.

Meg, yep, we got a referral to the allergy/respiratory unit at our major public hospital through our paed but you can just go through your GP and I'm pretty sure in Sydney there are some private pathology units that will do it. Good Luck, it's very scary when your baby has a reaction to something, isn't it? It's sad too when I have to deny Ivy things because of it.
Sarajo - you are too funny! School doesn't go back for another three weeks :eek: :crying: I've just lost two to a sleepover with a friend so I only have the five to go food shopping!

Hi girls! SOrry we have been MIA at the moment but we have only returned from holidays yesterday and I have been procrastinating (nevermind the 8 loads of washing i have done!) getting on the computer as it meant I would have to check the credit card balance LOL! Wasn't too bad.
Yep we can confirm that Marnie will be a big sister in early August. DOctor's appointment on Monday - I am certainly a lot more relaxed than I was with Marnie's pregnancy and just trying to cruise with it. We haven't told anyone but a married couple we are friends with who live in Canberra! I am around 9 - 10 weeks - but will find out more soon.
I will be back later to check out what you guys have been up to!
