It was really intense. I was laying in a bed being assessed and all of a sudden the contractions got SOOO bad. Then the midwife looked at me and said I was officially in labour and told me it that that was probably mild compared to what was coming. She wasn't wrong, I had wanted to not use any drugs but had to give in and have gas. I was a bit disappointed at first, I felt like I was being "weak" or something, but I know I did what was best for me.

Anyway, need to go and try to get some rest.
