Hi Everyone
Got back from the coast today and wish we were still there. The beach was wonderful and Monique loved the water and sand although she rubbed sand all over her face and in her eyes when I had to do a poo nappy change but it worked out ok in the end.
Have done a quick read but will get back later. Welcome aboard Hoody and Mummy Melz.
Had to post to let you know that Monique crawled on Sunday night which was very exciting. She is sooo cute when she crawls. Now that we are home I really need to baby proof the house as we are busting out and have stuff everywhere.
Buzzie, we are off to the Wiggles concert in December and can't remember if I told you that I got You Make Me Feel Like Dancing DVD and also got Dorothy Dinosaur Memory Book DVD which is pretty good too.
Nearly midnight, best be off to sleep.

Olivia was a little wicked last night.. woke at 10:30 and just screamed and screamed and screamed and thrashed about.. I was getting so irratated and then I got annoyed at myself for feeling that way.. She was only awake for 40 mins but man I was tired..
Anyhoo.. Olivia has just woken up.. My Birthday boy is still sound asleep..

Hi all,
Wow everyone is in today!! Hi Mummy Melz, welcome :) we are big hav-a-chats in this thread.
Teena- Ouchies!! Don't feel like a moron- one second is all it takes. We rushed Ty to the emergency room at 3 weeks old after dh dropped him head first in the bathroom sink. That was a bit hard to explain...
Nic- Glad you had a good time away, it's been so strange in here (not to mention quiet) without you.
Happy nine months Ash!!!!! I might have to try some of the Nurofen for teething too. Ty's third tooth- a top one- is halfway through the gum and driving him mental, poor bubba. And he is crawling on all fours and just into everything. But much happier now he can get around. And he is finally starting to stand up (still only on mum- won't grab onto anything else!).
Ahhh I can't remember what everyone said ont he last page. Hope you all had a good night last night (it was a bit of a shocker here) and have a lovely day today :)
-
Aww on the teeth.. Poor Little man.. I hope they hurry up and come through and leave him alone..
Olivia started crawling on all 4's yesterday too. Still drags herself most places but gets on all 4's occasionally.. So cute and slow ;)
She fell over this morning and gave herself a googy egg :( She went to bed not long after and of course I am now a worry wart.. I know she is fine but still I worry

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the new mums and bubs :)
We have been having terrible nights here over the last week :( Poor little girl has some more teeth coming through but they are taking their time and making our lives very tough on the meantime. Olivia starting sucking her thumb (which she has never done before) and rubbing her top gum which were the first signs that the top teeth are on the way, but it is the nighttime waking that is getting really hard. Panadol seems to help. Are more people using Nurofen or Panadol? What is the difference?
On the positive side Olivia is now pulling herself up onto her knees all the time and kneeling to play with her toys, I don't think it will be long before she stands up on the furniture. It is so different going out with her now that she can crawl. At Mothers Group coffee yesterday she just kept crawling away in the cafe and thinking it was hilarious that I had to chase her! I can see the trouble starting now...
Hope you all have a great day!
-
Wow when everyones on everyones on!!
Alicia - Nurofen is better for teething because it has a anti-inflammatory in it, panadol doesnt. - Keep an eye on her sucking thumb thing too, that will be a terrible habbit for her and her teeth developing! :(
Ahhh all this teething, and still none here... im happy to keep waiting.. no booby biting here thankyou!!
- just a note as we have a couple new members, i might wait till closer to dec with the birthday pressie thing we are doing and redo the list incase there is new members who want in too. keep the names u have fornow and we'll wait and see. :)
Well ive treated myself to a night out at a hotel with Ash this friday. i have drinks night with mothers group and i dont want to be driving all night with ash as there an hour away so i booked a hotel.. needed a treat :) cant wait.
Well better get some cleaning done while little tinker is sleeping... ahhhhh hows the serenity.........
-
AGh!!! Kids driving me mental!!
We went for a ride to the shops.. Bought Isaac some batteries for his pressies and a treat then rode home.. Stoopid MIL rocked up just as we were leaving and it appears she has the ****es with me ;) Goodo lol...
Olivia has her hair in a semi pony tail today.. soooo cute!! I bought her this shirt which says Mummy's Little and a picture of a cupcake.. aww it is so adorable lol..
Well off to watch a movie with the kidlets... nice relaxing day here.. sort of haha...

Just dropping in to say gday. Sorry I haven't been around for ages. i'm trying to overhaul the entire house in time for Ella's baptism in a couple of weeks (everyone coming back here for a BBQ). have been working on it for ages - will be worth it to have the house somewhat sane, but haven't had any spare moments.
Just glancing thru the posts. So far behind it's beyond hope, but glad to see what the bubs are all up to.
Welcome to the new members too...
Ella's a heap of fun at the moment. She's got the crawling thing worked out, but doesn't necessarily bother to use it! Would rather whinge til we come to her! But now she's working on standing and is just starting to cruise along. oh dear, I think my troubles are about to begin... he he he. bought a playpen cheap at the babies markets which has been great. She loves pulling herself up in it.
Gotta go do some tidying here while miss is asleep.
Hope everyone's well!

dont worry all pcs muck up from time to time.
My kids were driving me mad as well today. Sofia has a cold which is frustrating, last week it was conjuctivitus, now a cold and teething, and now she has just started to cry Again. I know it is from the childcare and in a copule of months she will be fine, but it so annoying now. Heres to a better tomorrow

Welcome Hoody and Mummy Melz. There are a few of us in here that shoudl be in the Nov group but we couldn't leave our girls. Good to have you over here.
Mum of Many  huni, I am sorry to hear of your son. Friend isn't coping too well, but you cope whatever way you can don't you. Apparently she's spending her day in bed drinking wine after wine :(
Mummy Melz, I don't mind when my DP goes away either. Provided he takes a couple of kids with him that is. LOL, one day Abbey will be big enough to go too!
Jus, HI!! Good to hear you are going well.
Nic, Happy Birthday to Isaac, hope he had a great day.
Hoody, I'm hearing you on the crying. Abbey has turned into the biggest cry baby in the last week or 2. Seriously doing my head in. Of course she's going through the super clingy, I only want mummy to touch me stage too. People look and talk to her and she's all smiles, but God forbid if they go to hold her. I can't even shower in peace (although haven't done that in 16 years) she bawls soooooo hard.
Nic, can you send some of that hair to Abbey, she is slowly getting more but as I said, it's a slow process. If she grew hair as fast as she cut teeth we'd be getting somewhere. Number 6 has just cut. No signs atm of anymore so maybe the whinging will stop
Buzzie, I hope you have a great night out. That would be bliss. We have a wedding to go to on 18th Oct, so we have got Noah staying at DP's parents, first time EVER! and Tehya going to my mums, Abbey will be coming with us and we are going to stay in a hotel in the city for the night. I have 2 clients due that week though too so I am praying so hard they go before that so I can relax. Would be nice too if they don't go on the same day.
Teena, hugs huni, don't beat yourself up too much. Accidents happen and it only takes a split second. Be thankful that it wasn't much worse.
Hi to all mums and bubs and sorry to any I have missed. I do read but have been slack lately and not posting as much. Day's seem to be shorted even though I know it's the opposite. OHHHHH Abbey slept yesterday, she did great, 90 minutes in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. That is so not like her, we usually get the morning sleep, and most times the arvo one, but not for that long, shame I couldn't have a nap too, both girls were asleep when I had to go get Noah so I left them here with Brandon. Could have so easily just curled up on the lounge. School holidays start on Friday so there goes any chance of quiet in the day for the next 2 weeks. I find it so unsettling for Abbey too.
Have a great one girls :D

morning all..
I was so tired I went to bed at 9pm last night.. Olivia woke at one stage and I just popped her in bed with me.. I didn't wake again till 5:30.. I need to do that again I think. I need to go to bed when my eyes start closing and not push through it and then get a second wind kwim?
Trish: I am sad for your friend.. And yes Isaac had a lovely day ( I hope) I can't believe he is 5 already. The week he was born was a mixture of sadness (my sister lost her baby the day before) and such happiness then Isaac got sick so we were all just so scared for 2 weeks. I hate that I can't let it go.. Like around his birthday I always play it over and over in my mind what I was doing at what time... 5 yrs time to move on.... (ramble over lol)
Louise: I hope Sofia gets better soon. Olivia keeps getting conjunctivitis too. I am starting to wonder if it is her hair in her eyes all the time.. At them moment she has slight gunky eyes. Not sure what to do about it..
Hope everyone has a lovely day! Cool and dark here. Looks like it might rain (yay)

Breastmilk in her eyes hun :)
