LOL. That's funny. Actually.. it's not really. Argh.. these babies! Kayla's top tooth is pushing soooo hard on her gum.. so it's probably a combination of that, wind & possibly cold. She wriggles out of wraps and blankets too...
Does she have a sleeping bag? I got a great one from a friend and its flannelette and long sleeved.. I think it is a home made one but its brilliant. We don't need it so much at night anymore as it is warming up here but sometimes if we go to the beach or something I use it instead of a blanket to keep the wind off..
Hi all,
Ugh we had a totally crap night here too. Ty was up screaming for an hour last night and then awake every hour after that. Bleh. Very glad i decided not to go to work training- I would have been exhausted. Yes Trish you all are very bad influences ;)
Hmmm now I can't remember what every wrote on the last page. Some serious sleep deprivation going on here.
Kitten- ty has gotten into the habit of not taking ebm either. It's only really one day a week when I'm at work but I'm banging my head against the wall- spend all this time expressing, then it just goes down the sink anyway
I think I remember Nic saying ages back (a few threads ago) that teeth usually come in pairs- is that right Nic? Ty has one but I'm wondering if number two is coming up?
Tallon cut 1 tooth, then cut 5, then cut 2 at a time. Kayla so far cut 2 at the bottom together, then a 3rd at the bottom, and her top tooth/teeth?? are on their way. I think the 4th one at the bottom might be ready to move too.
Nic - We do have a sleeping bag. I've tried it.. but I hate it when she has her arms free, she keeps pulling her dummy out and whinging LOL. I was going to try and push it til it warms up a bit before persevering with putting her down with her arms free hehe.
Well, music lesson went well :) Tallon is definitely warming up to the class and venturing away from me more, and he's starting to do some of the actions to the songs. He's never been one to do actions.. even watching the wiggles and things, he just watches, he doesn't join in. But then I find him later on dancing around like them. hehe.
Kayla's starting coughing today.. so I can add getting sick to the list of why we had a bad night.
*big sigh*. Soldier on girls! This too shall pass! Trouble is once this is past, there's something else to endure LOL.
oh so true... But we all cope better on more sleep
olivia is a fussy thing. I just got her some lunch but I thought after having bread the last 2 days I would get her some custard. Nope she cracked it. I got her some avacado nope cracked it again.. I spread avacado on bread = happy little girl.. now she is munch/slobbering on a vegemite sandwich. :D
Liz: my kids were and are still the same with music shows. they sit and watch and never join in even if I do and later I will catch them doing it in thier rooms.. Glad Tallon is starting to enjoy it
Aaaahhh what a totally ****e day. Ty decided to sleep for an hour and a half this morning, which is unheard of .... must ahve worn himself out being up half the night. But because he slept for so long, we missed our swimming lesson . So now wehave another make up lesson on the books. Five in total. Good grief, I have enough trouble making it to one a week, let alone two.
Liz- Ty had a cough the last two days but it has dissapeared again... maybe Kayla's will too?
Hi ladies,
no time for personals today but i will try to do them later on. Hope all the sick buba get better soon. Ethan isnt crawling as yet but he can move in a sort of a throw and spin way. He now has two teeth as well and doesnt stop talking.
Charlie has started toilet training - hopefully he gets the hang of it before long way to cold but he wants to try so fingers crost he doesnt freeze in the mean time.
Better run will try to catch up soon
I wish this cough would go... Ash and I are really sick now.. damn cold. Ash is really struggling with it. :(
Hes crawling like crazy now, into everything.. there goes my days of sitting down! lol
must go, Ash just woke and my head is killing!
take care everyone.
Hi Jas :)
 Lauren
my days of sitting are gone too  right now Olivia is playing with her high chair and moving it back and forward.. she keeps going to the shoes .. and she fell on her face again this morning while trying to stand. aagghhh lol.. i love it though..
boys shes fast.. im watching her now and she just takes off..
Well, I've been norty today and not given Kayla any solids. We seem to hit a crescendo where her tummy gets really bad, and appreciates the break from solids. So hopefully after last nights constant waking with tummy pains we'll have a bit more sleep tonight just on booby juice. Her top tooth is just about to cut through, and she has rosy cheeks tonight, so I'm hoping it'll happen tonight or tomorrow.
I really should go and do the kitchen so it's nice and clean for me in the morning.
Oh and my swivel sweeper arrived yesterday.. gotta test it out tonight now that it's charged. LOL. I'm so excited. (my sad little life LOL).
Night everyone.
I think I have seen those swivel sweepers on tv....
Hope the no solids helps. I try that but my miss is very routine 12:30 lunch and 4:30 dinner
Yeah, it's the swivel sweeper on tv. hehe. I've been sucked into tv stuff before and regretted it, but I really wanted one of these, and then I used one at a friends place and was sold. LOL. I just used it.. it was quite good for a run around at night. I was shocked at how much it picked up! So much fluff! *hangs head in shame* at how dirty my floor must've been LOL. Or else my normal vacuum is hopeless!
Yeah... I dunno what to do about solids. She was struggling to get little pebbles out too.. and throughout today they were softening again. She's only really having porridge & fruit at the moment.. nothing that would constipate her.. and there's no added iron in the cereal. She's not really constipated, but she doesn't seem to go all at once after a few days of solids, just a real stinky pebble in each nappy. LOL - can't think of any other way to describe it. I'll try more veg tomorrow and see if that makes a difference. I'm too scared to give her sandwiches and things.. dunno why.. it took me a while to let Tallon have bread too.. scared of choking. Even now Tallon occassionally gags on bread cos he gets it stuck to the roof of his mouth.
Well, kitchen is clean, dishwasher on, kids asleep. I should be in bed too, I dunno why I stay up so late when I'm already so sleep deprived. Crazy.
*sleepy vibes* to everyone for tonight. Hope we all feel refreshed in teh morning! I really HAVE to do my ironing tomorrow, another reason I was determined to have the kitchen done tonight, so there was no excuse not to get stuck into the ironing tomorrow. I've been a good flybaby and have been doing a load of washing everyday and folding it and putting it away.. but nowhere in the flylady emails do they say anything about ironing LOL - so I've got a big pile of it! (I'll blame them anyway ;) )
k.. night all!
have fun ironing.. I never iron unless I need somethign ironed LOL.. I hate it.. heck I hardly fold and put my clothes away these days,,
Decent night here. Olivia stirred a lot but that was before I went to bed, She woke at 2;30 I think so I fed her and just gve in and put her in bed with me and we slept till 7. I think I just need to co sleep so we all get some sleep. As long as its not early on in the night I am fine..
Hope everyone got good nights...
Liz - Ash is better with a break of solids too, but he has different issues all together but still must be nice to just have a day of boobies...
Ash has been eating sandwichs for a while now and hes a shocker with choking but he seems to have learnt really quickly and loves them.
Would the fruit and porridge been doing something to her stomach? i would of thought porridge would be gluggy for her tum??? thats based on my issues with ash, but i know some fruits are bad too.. we had to go off banana here :( he LOVED that!
Well our night wasn't too bad. Still woke a couple of times, but quickly settled again with feeding. I'm just tired coz I always stay up so dam late! She also did a nice runny breastfeeding poo this morning.. flushed out her belly ready for her next round of solids  poor girl.
Yeah, ironing is always at the bottom of my priorities list LOL. I always manage to find other things to do first.. which usually means I have a nice clean house etc before I ever iron hehhe.
Lauren - I dunno. It's a muesli/porridge thing, as opposed to rice cereal. Rice cereal seemed to upset her. Fruits is mainly pears - pureed or her munching on a slice of it. I was told pear was the best fruit for the tum. She's also had various veg. I gave her banana once and she made such a mess and it's the worst thing to wash out of clothes.. so I haven't given it to her again LOL. She's had a crust of pizza too which she loved LOL. It was a local gourmet pizza so wasn't covered in oil hehe - don't fret girls! ;) I might try her with a crust of bread today and face my fear. She does choke less if she's feeding herself, I just gotta trust her with the foods I spose.
LOL We did the pizza crust thing.. was a local too, he LOVED it!
I was told Ash cant have sugary fruit... and dairy so hoping after a couple weeks when it settles he might slowly be able to get back on it. I just started giving him apple and pear pureed too and he loved it ..ahhhh the lady said shell send me a list of can and cant eat so hopefully should help..
good luck with the bread liz :)
