    Hi all,
Just a quick one to say..
Hoody- I think we are doing just that. We have bought two small toys and any other money we would have spent is going into Ty's account (we have a piggy bank that we put all our change into and then deposit it in his account every couple of months). We have waaaaay too many toys and are only going to get way more.
Hope you're all having a good day. I've read evryone's posts but am feeling so lazy and can't be bothered doing personals *yawn*. Will probably bbl

Hoody - My girls have soooo many toys. Loren has got all of Sara's baby toys plus her cousins, she really doesn't need a thing. The only thing I am doing for Birthday is a picture board for her bed room. I will be taking some pics of her, and hopefully getting some artistic ones then mounting them on nice paper and framing it. For Christmas my mum has given me money to buy for the girls and I will be buying big bedroom stuff for Loren, sheets, bedrail, doona....There is no point in spending money just for the sake of it.

thanks everyone, Sofia has enjoyed herself today, she woke at 3.30am this morning and wanted to party - (mummy disapproved, breastfed her back to sleep). She likes her her tent and blocks. We had a cake at playgroup, will have more tonight and even more at her party on Saturday.

Happy Birthday Sofia. Yay to Kitten2b - You have successfully made it threw the first year!

Hi girls. Sorry i havent been around in a while. So much has been happening, had alot of specialist appointments to get my graves under control which finally seems to have happened. I cant believe it is 1st birthday time already. Ethan is 10 months old now and boy how time has flown. He is crawling and pulling himself up on everything. Not so long ago i thought he would never roll let along crawl then in a 3 week period he rolled, crawled, sat up and started to stand up. He also has 4 teeth and talks no stop babble.
Birthdays - i have all Ethan's presents for his birthday on Layby. Being 3 days after christmas i put them on with the santa presents so that i didnt have to run around and remember them, that and Charlie's bday is 10 days before christmas. He is getting a baby bike thingy for his bday and 2 different toys from his brothers. Have to run as Ethan is waking up, will try and get on again soon. Hugs to all the bubs and mums hope everyone is great and congrats to tinsel - keeping fingers crost for you.

Quick question ladies - How can I get Olivia to drink out of a straw? I demo it for her and she gets all excited then she just holds it between her gums and looks at me like 'now what?!' I am trying the straw cup as it has been really hard to get her to drink from a cup with a spout (I have tried 3 different kinds). Now with the weather heating up I want to make sure she starts drinking more water.

Alicia - i would just start with a tiny straw so there less work to do and she will just get it in her own time. Mum said we all started after we were 1 so i dunno how long it will take.

Jas - good to hear from you again

Alicia - Olivia will get the concept when she is ready. Sara refused to drink out of a straw until she was 18months. Other babies take to it straight away..My suggestion is to let her play with it, keep showing her what to do and repeat, repeat, repeat...

    Morning all

woot I got 6 hours straight sleep.. Olivia slept 6:30 till 4:15.. She did wake as I was ging to bed at 10 but I just put her to bed with me and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.. I am sure in the next hour or so it will hit me what time my day started but its all good Simon is on Days off today so I can nap this afternoon if need be

Alicia: I think my kids were around 18 months when they drank from a straw. With the boys I bought them dinky cups (cups without any valve) yeh they made a mess but they didn't have to work to get the water out..

    Hi all,
Hope we are all doing good. After all my whinging last week, Ty actually slept through last night, from 8:30 to 4am.... YAYYYYY!!!!!

Alicia- We use the cups Nic is talking about too, with no valve. The First Years make really good ones called Take or Toss- you can get them at Woolies or Toys'R'Us.

    MoM- What are you studying?

Yucky rainy weather here, bleh. Going out to meet the mum's group for a coffee

Yay Nic and Lori on the fantastic sleeps. must be in the air, Ash is doing great too, since hes been sick i think hes really weaning himself at night and sleeps straight thru till about 4-4.30am

You know those moments in life you have where u spend so long fighting for something you think you want but once you have it you realise its just not what you thought it would crack up to be...... well i had one of those today and told Rob i really didnt want to be with him. I think alot of it was for Ash and this week made me realise i deserve alot better... Deeer alot of ppl say... i told him i deserve a man who is so proud of his family he would want to tell the world. So there u have it. And i feel so much better i can let go of that crap and really feel so much better about life - weird, never thought it would feel that good.

Ok i had my spill. lol

Yukky weather today here too, 30 and raining, go figure. Hope everyone is having a great day, and lots more sleepy bubbas!!
