Hi Janine

Yep, party is this weekend- lunch bbq for family and godparents, then arvo drinks and dinner bbq for friends.

Nic- I'm only really doing a party for the extended family, they insisted on it. Sounds awful, but I am so over kid's parties. Doing the clown and fairy thing, I reckon I've been to over 500. I've seen it all, big and small, and it zapped my energy for doing them myslef

GRRR i have had SO much trouble getting on BB this week and i have just done a big post and LOST it.

OH well i dont have time to re do it so i will keep this short.

Both my girls are sick. Just colds but DD1s asthma is really bad again i can see a trip to hosy this arvo if she doesnt improve

I have a dr appt for 4 but i know if she doesnt improve on a neb whilst there theyll just send us to hosy and none of the nebs i have given her at home seem to be doing much, so i dont think theirs will either iykwim.

Molly is super snotty and yuk too so we had the worst night i think we've ever had between the 2 of them- even resorted to driving around the block at 11.30pm last night trying to settle them. I jsut hope they are better for tomo arvo as i am working.

Lori - I am doing the anti-rain dance too. Hopefully together we can have sunny skies between Canberra and Sydney! We are in a 2br apartment so we don't have the space to host a largish party so we are having it at the park. Not sure what our backup plan will be. Hopefully SIL can have us over. There will be about 23 of us but that is only immediate family, partners and their children (I have 6 siblings) and not everyone can come. Should be a lovely day but geez, the planning is unbelievable. I also thought it would be a good idea to have a Christmas lunch with my family while we are all together which I'm hosting (at my sisters house) on Sunday

That is a lot of preparation but I have all my lists together and did a shop today so feel kind of organised.

Nic - of course Olivia's day was special and you made her shirts and all kinds of things. She looked like she had a lovely day in the photos. For Monique's actual birthday, DH is taking the day off and we will spend it together although we are going to a friends son party in the morning. He is turning 3.

Buzzie - thanks so much for the list. I have copied it into my calendar so I have it handy now. Hope you are feeling less stressed. Having your own place will be lovely.

Hoody - I hope the girls get better soon. How scary for Molly.

adkins - poo everywhere - oh no! Monique tries to pull her nappy off but I pin her down but thankfully I have managed to distract her with a mobile or something with the poo nappies.

lol I use my mobile as a distraction too. I play one of the songs on it and Ty is fascinated (has to be making a noise or he tries to chew it...)

Hi all,just popped in quickly. I got the kids Santa photo`s done today,not as good as i had hoped,but it`s over with.Iam going to put them on face book tomorrow.Our visitors have just left,I`ve got a bad headache from some bubbley it was DH Birthday today & Kieren`s in 3 days.

Buzzie & Nic, We decided we didn`t want to have a Birthday party for Kieren & DH sugested today about going to Taronga Zoo with a couple of friends. Buzzie,great minds think alike.

We just wanted to do something different this time around.

Well keeping it short,my head is killing me,& AF arrived yesty!!3 weeks late.

Nic - you can gladly have our rain. It's only 14 degrees here at the moment. The weather for tomorrow is now early showers with possible afternoon thunderstorm and 25 degrees so *maybe* we can have our bbq lunch without the rain but somehow I don't think the plan will come together plus the park will be wet.

According to the list there is a birthday today....

Buzzie and MoM - the zoo is a great idea. Monique loves animals. I can't wait to take her to Western Plains Zoo and stay in Zoofari Lodge. So fun.

Well NO complaining about our weather. Fine and mid 20's just the way i like it. Not cold but not too hot iykwim.

Took DD1 to Dr yesterday and as i thought she was 1 step away from hosy. I am lucky in a way that because i have been dealing with her asthma he let me go home but warned that any change and she'd be admitted and told me if it was another child whose parents hadnt dealt with it b4 they'd be admitted. I am thankful he thinks i am competent enough to keep her home. She is still on 2-4 hourly nebs but i think her steroids have kicked in as i am seeing some improvement. He checked Molly out too and she has the same virus but lucky for her (and me) her chest sounds clear. Had a rough night last night again getting up to them both several times. I am supposed to be working this arvo but am still unsure i know DH can cope but i'd hate to not be here if anything was to change.

Well my little patients are calling again so best be off.
