oh Alicia - 10kms! thats scary... thinking of you guys!
I just dropped Ash off at childcare.. and they were all SCREAMING.. omg.. there was no one to look after ash cos he still needs to be held when i go and only 2 staff so i actually sat there and played in the sand pit with him waiting for someone else to start, thankgod it was Ash rooms assistant who he likes. but made me angry they werent being very helpful to the kids... i wouldnt care if i was late to work, i so wasnt going to leave him without more staff on. His room leader starts in half an hour anyways so ill be aLOT calmer then. Poor little bubba.. he was not happy when i left today at all :(
Well better get ready for work i guess....ho hum...
-
OMG Buzzie - I had the same experience with daycare today. Loren went with me for a play only session. A new little boy had just started and he was sitting on the floor with his bag next to him in tears. The junior with just standing next to him looking at him. I felt like telling her to pick him up and give him a cuddle for god sake!!! The team leader (who looked after Sara and is very good) was not starting for another 30 mins. Plus there were 3 kids with green snot hanging from their noses..I am so in 2 minds now
-
Ahh!! Bek and Lauren, don't tell me those kinds of things, it'll scare me off cc for good ;) Seriously though, poor kids.. that green snot is a bit of a worry too. Lauren I hope Ash (and you) have a good day.
Alicia hun I hope everyone and everything is ok. Thinking of you.
Well I put a deposit down on our wedding today :confetti: July 25th... I still won't know till tomorrow what's going on or how far along I am, if I'm along at all. So I might have a big belly in my wedding photos.. oh well, we can work around that somehow.... but is there something a bit odd about a pregnant bride, or is just me that thinks that?
-
Lori: I was 6 months pregnant at my wedding :)
Bek and Lauren:  on the day care things..
a nothing day happening here.. Jacob driving me bloody mental.. he just won't stop!!! I am ready to lock myself in a cupboard..
-
Hi girls,
having a shocker of a day today, kieren has a cold, runny nose & sore ears, totally miserable. It`s raining here in Sydney,i wish Victoria would have some rain soon.
Jas- Hi,i wouldn`t stress to much about your weight,i`ve had a weight prob, most of my Adult life,& nothing has worked for me,but get this,I?m not "Fat enough for stomach surgery" so what`s a girl suppose to do, STARVE,lol. I make sure iam careful with what i eat & get exercise, but my weight is so hard to get off. I would like to nominate myself for the biggest looser,& see how i go. Take care.
Nic- Choc-chip muffins....yummy!A favourite at our place too, lol.
Alicia- I hope everything will be ok,down near you Mum & Dad,sorry to hear about your other friends, though. Were all those fires in Victoria deliberately lit?
Lori- Hi how are you, poor Ty those runny poo`s are just discusting,i hate when they leak out of the sides of the nappies,it makes me dry reach, lol. Isn`t the weather crazy,it is raining here again, but the kids can`t play out side.....sigh...so now they are fighting over a bloody tea set....GGGRRRRRR..........
Bek & Buzzie- CC does get easier,it just takes time to get used to it,in a month or so your little ones will love it.
Tincel- Hi how are you? I think you should keep up with the cc,it will give you a little break on those days you need some mummy time, lol.
Michelle- I hope things get better for you hun,all the ladies here are really good listener`s,& I feel like you sometimes,i come here bacause it`s like no one else wants to listen.
I hope i haven`t missed anyone,Hello if i have. I need to straighten out my Feral kids!!!! Take care everyone.
-
Lori - Another pregnant bride here, I was 30 weeks pregnant. We were going to wait until after Olivia was born and then changed our minds and did it late in the pregnancy. Nothing weird about it at all ;)
-
Lori - Sorry to frighten you hon re daycare. I don't know why I am stressing I have done it all before with Sara. At least you'll be a glowing bride hon. Nothing wrong with it at all!!!
I spoke with the team leader at daycare and I am happier with things now. She promised me that she'll be there to cuddle Loren. That little boy today that was crying was actually worse if one of them tried to comfort him so they just let him be for a bit. My goodness I can't believe I have stressed so much...i am sure it is the prego hormones.
OMG my tummy has popped. i should take a pic and post it. I can't fit into my normal shorts anymore!!
Susan - i hope Kieren doesn't suffer too much.
Best go and cook dinner.

Hello
remember me hehe. Its been a while since i posted  Been super busy and I am making more of an effort to not come onto the computor when DH is home (one of our issues) Its ok now though as he is sat out the back with his guitar singing lol.
Had a shocking week and to top it off my car got broken into yesterday and they stole all the girls stuff apart from the car seats *sigh* took my sling, the girls hats and sunnies, our bag from the beach inc their bathers beach towells and clothes. Took there dvd player (DD1 is heartbroken esp since her pingu dvd was in it at the time) We had gone to the beach early but were staying later and i had put warmer clothes on the girls and taken everything we were no longer using up to the car. It all got taken even DD1's asthma and allergy medication including my only epi pen :( They smashed my window and damaged my door so it was a real mess with glass everywhere. Took me an hr to vacuum the car today and i can still see shards of glass in the light. It will be about 2wks b4 its back on the road so i am stuck driving DH's 1990 short wheel base patrol. As its only 3 dr i have to put Molly in the the window  Molly is still cutting teeth so has been grumpy and with today been 40 she has not been a happy camper.
Sorry no personals i'll be back tomo as DD1 is in DC.
-
Hi all,
I thought i would share something funny with you all tonight,
I was watching "A Farmer Wants A Wife" tonight with DD,and one of the male farmer`s was playing (Polo, you know on a horse)so DD said to me,"That`s a funny way to play Golf with a horse" !,"are horses alound to play Golf mum " ! Well I roared laughing & explained to her what Polo was.LOL. I thought this might help to lift our spirits considering whats been going on lately......KIDS....can be very funny. ;) Kieren is sleeping,I hope he has a better night. The nuerofen must have kicked in... Ok,good night.
-
Hi there Nat, we must have been posting at the same time. So sorry to hear your news, what else could go wrong this week, whens all this rotten stuff going to end.Did you have Insurance hun? It`s a terriable feeling when things like that happen, our car got broken into when we were visiting our son at the Cemetary, that`s the last place DH & i exspected anything to happen, but the police don`t have the time to look into it,sadly people get away with it. Hope you get some relief from the heat soon too, hope the girls are better tomorrow, take care.
-
Hoody - omg thats horrible.. bloody ppl.. its one thing breaking into a car for a stereo or somthing (not that i approve) but for kids belonging... who gets kicks from that!!...grrhhhhhhh
-
hoody: Sorry to hear about your car being broken into.. and yeh Lauren.. while I can understand wh people break in for steroes why for kids htings.. just silly if you ask me
Olivia was reweighed today and yay we have had a gain..A very small gain but a gains a gain :) She is now 8.89kg.. Previously 8.64kg.. so appro 200 grams in 9 months lol.. the dietician today said her diet is just fine..
-
Nic - I had Sofia checked to day as well and she is 8.5kg which the Paed says is great considering what she was born and the fact that she has started walking.
-
I have forgotten how early Sofia was now.. Was it 6 weeks or more. What was she born again? Olivia was 6lb 12oz at 36 weeks..
I know Olivia is healthy as she just runs all day.. eats super well and is just a happy child..Sleeps well now.. So instinct tells me she is just small :)
-
trust your mummy instinct. Sofia was 3 pound 15 or 1.8kg born 6 weeks early
-
Your babies all seem way smaller then ethie. He weighs over 10kg now my friend's baby weighs less he is like a feather compared to my little angel.
Hoody - thats not good. Them sort of people who steal kids stuff should be hung out to dry. Hope molly was in a better state today, teeth can be a horrid thing.
Bekz - lol for the shorts. I couldnt fit into mine from about 10 weeks on if i was lucky to get that far. Do you still have your maternity wardrobe from last time?
Lori - i got married at about 26 weeks as well, we decided a month before hand.
mummy of many - thanks for the hugs. i think i had a real down day yesterday. My supposed friends love to make a big deal out of it.
Buzzie - Daycare centres can be funny things. Sometimes they can have alot of staff on and others they seem to have not enough at all. I usually find from around 830 to 4 there is ample staff on. Hope you had a great day at work.
Well i went to aqua last night. It was great although i am really sore today! Cant wait until next week to go again. Have to run mil has just arrived. Be back later. Take care
-
gosh she was tiny hey louise.. I had forgetten..
and yeh I am going to trust my instinct here I know she is fine ..
Jas: all my boys were well over 10 kg at this age. I think 10kg is around the normal weight for a 1 yr old
anyways time to cook dinner here I think..
-
Nic -WTG on Olivia's weight gain, although I wouldn't be focusing on it. You her and you know what she eats etc. Trust yourself
Jas - I do have mat clothes but I am opposite seasons to my last 2 pregancies so I am lacking summer clothes. You mentioned your weight issue. I can't loose weight unless I go off things like gluten and grains. I would recommend you see a naturapath too. The last one I went to gave me some herbal formula and I lost 4kgs quite easily..and that was after 3 months of full on exercise and diet!!!
Hi all only 4 sleeps till my scan
BTW - I am stuck for lunch ideas for the kids..Please give me some ideas
-
I need lunch ideas as well.
-
Recently I made a zuchinni slice and both girls loved it....
-
ohh have not had that for ages
-
im hanging out Bekz, have you chosen any names yet??
Tinsel how about you?? your apts on sat wow.. 2 more sleeps!! wooot!
Anyone watching Australia Unites.. its soooo sad... wwwaaaaaaaaah!! :(
-
Thanks everyone re our car breakin. MOM some ppl just dont think do they. GRRR i cant even get my car into the assessor until the 24th what a joke. I kicked up a fuss and managed to get the windscreen replaced today and hopefully the passenger window will be getting fixed tomo but it looks like the panel work is going to take ages. Oh well at least once the windows are fixed it will at least be drivable.
Nic Molly was 6lb 10oz born so very similar to Olivia and she is now up to 9.3kg. WTG on a gain no matter how sm it may seem.
Bek- Lunch here is often sandwiches sometimes toasted, tinned spag or beans on toast, a vegie and fruit platter with natural yoghurt as a dip, a platter with crackers ham cheese sultanas etc or leftovers such as pasta. Nothing to interesting.
Jas - i love aqua too :)
G2g DD1 is nagging me for a cuddle. She is a very tired monkey today
-
Hi Everyone. Now that I am back at work, I have so much to catch up on.
Hoody - what a low act stealing the kids stuff esp medication! Hopefully you get your car back soon. I feel for you with the awful heat you are having at the moment.
Buzzie - I am getting excited to see bubs again and I was juggling whether to find out or not but have decided that yep, I wan to know if bubs is blue or pink. Hopefully they will cooperate at the scan. No names yet. I can't believe I am basically half way there.
Bek - I am finding I have no long sleeve tops (it only got to 16 degrees here today) so either I was sick to death of wearing the same mat clothes and chucked them or I stretched out shirts and just got summer ones. It's good that Monique gets fed at childcare because I ran out of ideas as well. Zucchini slice sounds yum.
Louise - gosh, I had forgotten how little Sofia was. She is doing really well.
Lori - nothing wrong with a pg bride. I have known a few in my time and the most recent in January was 8 months. You can get some gorgeous empire style gowns (if that's your thing). Hope your scan goes well tomorrow.
Nic - good going on Olivia's weight gain.
MoM - Hope the kids are being good tonight. They come out with some pearlers don't they.
I kept Monique home the last two days for childcare and took her in this morning to discover all the kids have colds. She still cries when we drop her off but stops fairly quickly now and waves us goodbye. She actually went to sleep at 7.30pm tonight which is a lovely change to 9.30pm the last few weeks.
-
Hi all,
Had my scan today. 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant, with a little butterfly heartbeat. I'm excited. Scared, but excited.
Louise, she must have been so tiny... I can't picture a bubba that small, ykwim?
Nic- I should probably get Ty weighed, I think he was 8.6 two months ago but I don't think he's put much on. He was 6 lb 1 oz, born at 39w 3d... tiny. But not as tiny as Sofia!
Hoody- I can't belive people would stoop that low. Sorry that happened to you hun.
Susan- about the polo golf. Very cute. Hope Keiran slept well for you.
Hope I haven't forgetten anyone. Ty has got two more teeth, just waiting for the eye teeth still. I'm E-baying and looking for wedding stuff... I should go to bed...
-
Congratulations Lori! It is so exciting seeing bub for the first time.
-
Buzzie - Hugs i hope you don' t cry too much...give your boy a hug. I have a couple of names picked. This is really strange but I keep seeing the name Eva. It pops up all over the shop..like car number plates, my blood test lady (twice, differnt office, same lady),other BB members name etc, check out chick. Plus Eva is a Polish name as well so I am thinking of Eva Terese for a girl or Tomasz, Nikolas,or Alekzander for a boy.
Lori - I just logged into wish you all the best for your scan..I thought it was tomorrow!!! OMG I am so happy for you. So you are due in Sep/Oct some time?:happyforyou: I wish you a wonderful pregnancy hon
Susan - rofl re Horse golf
Hoody - thanks for the lunch ideas..I forgot I used to do some of those
Re baby weight: Loren is still 10kgs but I held a 8month old boy on the weekend. He is 12kgs and only has breast milk not solids..He was adorable, just like a teddy bear.
-
lori: Great news on the scan..
Tinsel: these summer cols are the worst I think.. they just hang around and around. We have a snotty but well household at the moment
Lauren: I just can't watch anymore sad stuff this week.. so SATC it is tonight.. That little girls funeral is tomorrow and I just feel so sad. :( I printed off some pics I had of her and posted them to mums.. I hope her parents are ok with getting them.. no matter what issues I have with her parents I know I would want pictures of my child if someone had some..
Anyways off to browse the site and maybe a game of scrabble on FB.. Damn you Teena.. you have got me addicted to it
-
hi everyone!
Congrats lori! I would love to have a boy, but knowing my luck and the genetic thing id get another girl!
I love that being pregnant feeling.
Alisha was supposed to have a tooth pulled out today but because i hadnt signed the permission slip, they couldnt do it. So she's having it out tommorrow.
The girls school tomorrow is having a free dress day with a gold coin donation to the fire victims. The canteen is also donating $1 from every friday lunch special ( a hot dog and juice box). Tia and alisha a so excited to be able to help the other kids who have lost everything. I feel proud of them.
Sat nite, dp and i are going to a pub gig as his friend is in a band that is playing.
Hopefully will be good. The last time we did anything together without kids was the day before mirani was born.
Lunch, i gave mirani steamed dim sims yesterday! She didnt really like them but at least she tried them! Usually she will have a sandwhich, beans and toast, boiled eggs or something like that.
Omgosh, sofia was so little! Mirani was born 8lb 3oz and when she had her op in dec she weighed somewhere between 8 to 9.5kg. So she is probably heavier now.
Sorry if i left anyone out.
-
yay lori!!!! congrats!!! how exciting.. so when is ur due date??? hows future hubby taking the news?

-
Yay michelle, thats so sweet. Im so glad these schools are teaching kids to help support them too.
Has anyone heard about this goverment grant they have just approved..?
I miss the news every time its on, but familys with kids are getting $970 next month per child or somthing????????
-
it ws going to $950 per single income family and $950 per school aged child. but with all the negotiations, its been dropped to $900 for single income and school aged kids.
i've keeping track of it as dp hasnt been working for a while so the bills are starting to pile up.

Due date is October 3rd. Which is going to make it a very expensive time of year for us- new baby will be Oct, I am Nov, Ty is Dec and dh2b is Jan :o
This might sound silly but I am sure it's a girl. I knew Ty was a boy (much as I wanted a girl) and this one just feels like a girl :D Dh is cioping ok- I think he's a bit excited about it now, which is good.
Michelle- Good on you guys for raising all that money, that's great.

Hi Nic.... hehehe... ;)
Had a dr's appointment today. Waited an hour and half then told the receptionist I was going home and would come back Monday. Ty was screaming feral by the time we left.
