Hi girls,
Well,I?m very relieved to find out I only have a pulled muscle!!!So i need to rest it & not pick the little ones up as much, thank god my moods might be a little happier now.:D The little lumps i thought,is only tissue
Nic- Hi,also having a quiet day here too, only have Kieren at home today,he`s asleep.
I had to bake 30 cup cakes last night & iced them all for my DD this morning for a suprise to take to school. We are just having a cake for her after school,no party this year.
Buzzie- You wont know your self once you move into your own place,I moved out of home when i was 18,never went back, lol. I was so happy to br a free spirit.
hope everyone is having a better day. Our Foxtell has gone down,we rang them, they said we might not have it back for 12-24 hours due to programming from Victoria,i don`t understand this at all.Now back to boring tv,the kids will be spewin, when they get home. Ok talk later, got more cup cakes to ice, lol.;)

Hi all,
Sorry, I haven't been online all weekend due to laziness, everything has been going on in here!!
Susan- YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! That is fantastic news, I am so happy for you  And happy birthday to your little princess too.
Jas- :happybirthday: to you too!!
Lauren- Glad it's not just me following the death toll  126 atm, and some of the stories on the news this morning were just terrible. You will love having your own place, it will be really good for you and Ash. I haven't POAS, I'm just going to wait this out till my scan. I felt really pregnant on the weekend- tired and sick- but I'm thinking maybe it wa sthe heat because today I'm fine. I'm really not 100% how I feel about any of it yet.
Michelle- Oh hunni, what a crazy story!! I'm sorry to hear there's a bit of infighting going on. Families hey....
Alicia- Praying for you that everyone is ok hun
Nic- Your poor mum, how sad that must be for her... it just seems like so many bad things have been happening everywhere the last few days.
Well I'm glad it's cooled down here.. it is lovely to open the house the up and let in some fresh air. And Ty has officially weaned himself- he hasn't had a feed for four nights, even though he's been sick and it's hot (he's still waking up, just not wanting to feed ) So I think that's mission accomlished- Baby # 1, exclusively breastfed (but thankfully over with) ;)
-
susan - thats great news!!
I moved out of home the day i turned 21 and only came back home when i was about 8 months pregnant due to just not being able to afford it on my own.
It was so hard to come back.. but this time i look forward to being independent again.. i just hope i will be ok with money... as long as ash doesnt get sick too often and i need time off, i think i will be ok.
I saw a place today that was SOOOOOOOO perfect, has a beautiful big back yard for ash, this area is soooo expensive, it does push my budget a little but everything else was units back to back and i did that once and could hear every time the neighbour coughed, so i refuse to do that again!!
Nic - good luck with the bike.. lol i wouldnt have the foggiest either hehe
Lori - let us know how ur scan goes, how exciting to feel pregnant tho, i think its normal tohave days you dont feel it tho isnt it??
126!!!! omg, ive been out to the playcentre today and it was still 108 when i left.... !!
-
Lori: Jacob weaned as well when I was around 10 weeks pregnant with Livi.. Apparently the taste of your milk changes. but after 12 weeks I think they get used to it again lol.. Or something like that.
congrats on a long lovely breastfeeding journey
Lauren: I don't think I could live in a unit again either.. I think my kids would drive the neighbours mental hehe.. Good luck with finding the perfect place :D
-
Lauren - Goodluck with the house hunting. Hope you find one soon
Lori - how long until your scan? It isnt fair making you wait this long. Finger crost for you.
susan - glad that the results were good.
thanks 4 the birthday wishes. rthan has woken up so i have to dash
-
Hi all,
Nic- I think your little nap is called a Granny nap! I feel tired everyday around 3:30-4:30,I would love to have a Granny nap....he he he. Hope your feeling a little brighter hun.My kids had a spak attack about our pay tv,they still can`t tell us when it will be back to normal, they have a recorded message, that say`s nothing much.
Lori- Thank god we got a nice cool day here with some rain today,i wish it would rain in Victoria, for them. Hope everything is ok with you, hun.
Buzzie- Good luck with finding a new home for you & Ash,will you be staying close to your mum, hun?
Jas- Hi jas,how are you doing, don`t ya just hate when you get on here & your little ones wake up,us Mum`s don`t get much "Me Time".
Hello to everyone else, hope everyone is ok.
-
Hi Mummies
I have been slack!
Lori - Wow and Oh No. I hope everything is ok and your scan goes well on Friday. Well done on the breastfeeding. Our bodies are amazing.
MoM - Was so happy to read that you have a pulled muscle. You rest up now. Happy Birthday to DD. That is a lot of cupcakes to ice.
Buzzie - good luck with the house hunting.
Jas - Happy belated Birthday.
Nic - sad news for your mum. I barely watch or listen to the news these days. It makes me too sad and/or angry.
I am into the second week of work now and am dead tired today. I have 14 weeks and 4 days to go - woohoo. Monique walks around everywhere now but she is getting a bit of an attitude when she wants something NOW. I think she is getting better at childcare. She cried when we dropped her off as usual but she waved goodbye to us this morning so that is an improvement. I think she has picked up another cold though  I have my 20 week ultrasound on Saturday and I can't wait!!
-
omg tinsel thats just flown!! cant wait to hear the colour... :D
Bekz - is urs a week after that??
Susan - yes i will stay as close as possible to mum, Ideally i want to be near Ashs childcare which is 5mins from mum anyways..
Ash is in care this morning, tho im picking him up at 1 today to go to mothers group. we havent been in such a long time, cant wait to see everyone, especially now theres another one pregnant!!
-
20 weeks already tinsel wow.. That really has flown by hasn't it.
Lauren: What are your plans for your child free time?
Olivia was not a good girl last night. She went to bed like a dream at 7:30 and then woke every 20 mins. Just after 9 I gave up and got up to her. We have started ignoring the calling out. It was after midnight before she went back to bed. gawd I was feeling cranky.. Thank goodness for that day sleep yesterday
I am so mad by the media here at the moment.. With that little girl that died.. AAgghh.. they are making out that the Department of child protection are in the wrong.. I can't say much due to privacy issues but GRRR I am so mad
-
Hi All,
Susan - Sooooo glad your boobies are ok!!!!
Lori - Good luck with your scan. And a big high 5 for bfing this far.
Miss Loren is getting better slowly. No temps for 24 hours now but she is still cranky and sleeps alot. My SIL has been a doll and taken Sara to playgroup for me today. OMG I had 4 nights of 2 hourly wake ups (actually 2 of those nights I did not sleep at all) and I have just been reminded of what is ahead of me in a few months...holly cR@p
Of course the Vic fire news has taken up a lot of my thoughts. Alicia I hope your parents are ok.
Buzzie - My scan is next Monday. Good luck with the house hunting hon.
Jas - Happy belated Birthday.
Tinsel - Goodluck with your scan...btw I think pink for you. I don't know why I just do. How is Monique going at d/c?
Not much else happening here really, except I can't fit into my normal shorts anymore. I haven't felt much movement yet but I heard bub's heartbeat on Saturday.
Oops almost forgot. Daycare called to tell that they are ready for Loren next week...I seriously was not expecting this for another couple of months. I actually don't know what to do. DH thinks I should just try her and see how she copes.
-
I'm at home with Monique today. She has puffy red runny eyes and runny nose so thought I better not send her off to childcare. She wants lots of cuddles and is finally having a sleep.
Bek - glad to hear Loren is getting better. I was just thinking about the broken sleep last night  My family think its a pink bundle too and I don't mind either way but would be nice to have one of each as we are only planning two. Wow, daycare next week. How many days would you put her in for? I am still thinking of keeping Monique in childcare for maybe 2 days a week when bubs arrives at least for the first 6 weeks.
Nic - what a nightmare with Olivia waking up every 20 mins.
Buzzie - have fun at mothers group. I love seeing how much the babies have grown.
-
Tinsel - I have booked her for 2 days per week. Initially I thought of putting her in for only one day but 2 are available and they say it is better to get them used to it etc. Personally I would not have coped when I had Loren if I did not put Sara in daycare for a couple of days per week. Sara was/is such a social soul that she would have gone crazy at home with me and Loren 24/7. Plus I was trying to bf (which i don't do very well) and I really needed some one on one time with Loren. Assuming that I am going to be the same way when this bub comes I kinda think that Loren needs to go to d/c too. So if you are like me and feel that you need some time out then I would keep Monique in d/c those couple of days. I really feel that d/c has benefited Sara long term. Socially she is brilliant and she has learnt so much. Initially though Sara did get quite sick and I had serious second thoughts about continuing with d/c but now I think we've made the right decision.
-
Bekz - Not long until your ultrasound now!! I think you might be having another pink - what do you think any differences in the pregnancies. Cant wait to hear how it all goes.
Tinsel - i found it easier having the boys in d/c a couple of days a week when ethan was born. Charlie is a social being as well although now that jack and alex are both at big school he didnt like going. Ethan is back at d/c as of tomorrow yay for me i get to sleep again!!
aussienic - i know how you feel. Ethan is being terrible of a night as well. Even though he is lucky to sleep 2 hours all day. Is it hot where you are?
Buzzie - Have fun at mothers group. I miss mine most of the kids started "big"school. Never to mind have to find a new one now
mummy of many - Yep mine seem to have a knack for wanting something just as i get ready to post. They must know we are doing something important lol. Did your daughter enjoy her birthday?
Well i have decided that i dont really like doctors. I am so sick of the weight issue. Doesnt matter what i do my weight stays the same or i gain weight, 20kg over a year. Thing is with the condition i have i am suppose to lose weight so the doctor is trying to figure out what is making me gain it when i should be sickly skinny. Who knows with the way the body works. Never to mind off to Aqua tomorrow to try it out went and got a new swimsuit and all.
Have a great afternoon ladies
