i hear you all on the weeing issue! Summer loves to pee everytime i get the dirty nappy off. I had to jump backwards the other day becuase she was really squirting it haha
She didnt do a poo all day yesterday, is that normal?? She seems to do only one HUGE one every day.

OMG !!! I thought I would log back on from my last post a few days ago and see maybe 2 pages to catch up on! Wasnt I wrong ???!!!
Haroula/Ali/Mummytotwo/Anna - It is great to see some familiar names in here. I hope all is going well so far.
Michelle - I'm glad you asked about how long the bleeding takes to stop because it was a question I was wondering about too. I thought it would be finished by now and it has only been 9 days - I had no idea it took about 6 weeks.
BekZ - I am currently expressing about 80mL of milk in about 20 minutes but unable to express any more for about 6-8 hours afterwards which means I cant express enough to feed Fraser so we are supplementing it with formula. I hope the supply increases shortly as I am quite passionate about breastfeeding. I dont miss being pregnant yet. Maybe in a few weeks time I might miss the feeling of another life growing inside me but right now, I'm happy being back in my old clothes and feeling like my old self again.
Haroula - Well, it is nice to see nothing has changed and you're still quite the chatterbox. Like I said above, I didnt think there would be so much to catch up on so I, too, had better make more of an effort to keep up with the posts. For some reason, I just dont have as much time as I did a couple of weeks ago (!!!). I have 10 stitches and I think they have all dissolved now. I was told they would take a week or so to dissolve.
Ali - Fraser was weighed by the CHN yesterday and he has put on 300g in the 5 days he has been home!!! He eats like a champion.
Louise - I agree with Trish, a warm bath/shower can settle bubs down. DH takes Fraser into the shower with him when he is unsettled and he is usually asleep (or close to it) by the time we dress him again.
Nikki - Summer was the name we had chosen had Fraser been a girl! Love the name. Fraser usually only does a poo once a day (early morning) and sometimes it is only small so I guess it is different for everyone.
Fraser is going very well. We have been out and about every day since we have been home (shopping, visiting relatives and work etc) and he loves being held and adored by everyone. Last night he managed to only wake up twice which was so nice. I hope he keeps that up so we are trying to mimick the same routine as we did last night.
DH, the dog and I have all copped a wee in the face (yep, even the dog) - that didnt take long!
Anyway, I'll try to make more of an effort to pop on more regularly. DH is back at work next week so I dont know how I will go timewise but I'll try.

Hi everyone! OMG ash is asleep long enough for a post woopieeee!
Ali- wat time was ur bubs born? i just scrapped in at 11.59pm on the 23rd!! couldnt believe it as we were hoping he would be born on the 23rd!
Alicia - let me know how infants friend goes for Olivia, im still tossing up if i should get it for Ash.
Nikki - thats funny summer is wearing 000.. Ash is 2 weeks and im already putting him in 000. Thats fantastic she such a good bubs! im soo amazed u are saying u want another one already!!! Ash is a great boy but geeesss im ready to wait till hes in school before challenging that one again!

Hello to everyone else, hope all is well! time to go crash before little tinker is up again!!

Lauren- Liam was born at 5:49am, so we had plenty of time to spare!
Trish- love your pics, I cant wait to have our first lot of proffessional shots done of both the kids together.
Dayl- So glad to hear that everything is going well, keep perservering with the expressing, the more you do it the more you should increase your supply. Have you tried to express after you have finished a feed? I am quite lucky I have enough milk to feed a whole street of kids, I managed to express 80ml of 1 boob in about 5 mins tonight.
Better go my battery is about to die- I have added some pics of my little man into the gallery.
-
Trish - the photos are beautiful.
Buzzie - great to hear you and Ash are doing well.
What a tiring day. Maria has been the duracel bunny today, I think we left her off switch in Tamworth. We went to visit friends this afternoon to organise Sofia's Christening and Maria and my friend's daughter fought most of the time, Maria was awful (I was so embarassed) but she was defending herself a lot of the time.
I have ony just got both girls asleep, DH has gone to the movies with a mate, I am kind of glad to have some time to myself tonight. Hopefully Sofia will stay asleep for a while, she has taken to only pooing every second day, and boy do I have to be prepared for the nappy when it comes.

Trish: WOW what gorgeous pictures!! We live 5 minutes walk from one beach but a 5 min drive from the one we swim at. :)
Nikki: If you are Breastfeeding then BF babies can go up to a week without pooing.
Dayl:  at the poor dog getting peed on.. too funny..
Lauren: wow Ash is growing so big :) Great growing little man :) Olivia is just over 10lb
Hi to everyone else :)
yet another question :) Just now when i was putting Olivia to bed I was gently rubbing her head as I always do and I noticed her soft spot on the top of her head feels really odd. It is like it is extended.. you know how it is like a circle? well I know this morning it was still a circle but now it feels like it extends a little towards the front of her head ... I am going to take her to the Dr in the morning just to check it out..

Hi Ladies it's been a while since i posted ...
Oh yippee almost all of us are in here now ... haroula/Ali/mummy/Anna/Dayl :D
Dayl.. on the bleeding i stopped completely on the first day of the 3rd week :) But thats normal for me my periods are only for 48 hours anyways.
Buzzie.. you mentioned the Infants friend ... I got some for Tash and i actually think it makes her worse. Natasha has been windy from the day she was born and the chemist said it was the only thing to give them so young. BUT everytime she has it we have a really bad night. Last night after she had some we were up from 2am till 5am ... She has had some this evening cause she is windy still and about an hour after i gave it to her she has just done her first ever vomit and it was projectile all over ME!!!!!
well here she goes again bbl :)

Nic, Abbeys is exactly the same hun. Don't think it is anything to worry about.
Louise, I am hearing you on the duracell kid. I have 2 still going now. Seems we are having a girls night up tonight. When are you going to have Sofia's christening. I am trying to organise Abbey's atm, was hoping for the easter weekend, but not sure of my chances at church.
BBL, Abbey is being a fussy bum, too hard to type.
-
I was just concerned because it has only changed today.. I think I will still get it checked out for my peace of mind..
I am so grateful all of mine are in bed.. Its been a long hot few days
-
Dayl, nice to see you in here :) As for the breastfeeding, I would seriously recommend avoiding the bottles and upping Frasers breastfeeds, even if he feeds every 1-2hrs all day. I think thats partly the reason why Jett didnt take to breastfeeding, he had a bottle of formula within a week of his birth and after that it went down the drain. Ripley feeds every 2hrs in a 24hr period and although it sometimes sucks and feels like all I do is pop out my boob Im trying to avoid messing up my milk supply by giving him formula. Have you tried some of the natural things to boost your milk supply like fenugreek? Id check out the Breastfeeding section of BB or contact the ABA because you really seem to want to breastfeed!
Well my little munchkin is stretching his feeds out a bit now to 2.5-3hrs apart, not that Im noticing the extra time with a toddler to take care of lol I really need to nap more in the arvo when DH comes home from work.
-
how is everyone this morning?
Semi good night here.. Olivia fell asleep at 8:30 and slept till 2 :yay: and was back in bed by 3 and slept till 6:30.. She is falling asleep on Daddy at the moment
-
Morning nic........ good news on your night ...
I had an good night too my Tash slept from 8pm till 1am then after the feed through till 5am ..feel so much better today :D
-
isn't it nice when you get good sleep. and isn't funny before kids that would have been considered a Cr!p night  oh dear I woke to pee at 1 and couldn't get back to sleep but now its like yay they only woke at 1..
Well I am trying to get some exercise done this morning but the princess is not allowing me to do so  but she has just had a lovely bath and massage and then booby and is looking like sleep time soon
-
Good night here too Nic. Olivia went to sleep about 12-12:30 (her regular time it seems) and woke at 5:45!!! I will be happy if she keeps up the 5 hours sleep regularly.
Lauren - Infants Friend seems to be working well for Olivia. Makes her fart and burp as soon as you sit her up so she doesn't have to strain. Feeding has been much better since we started using it.
-
Just incase anyone is interested, when I had Ripley I got my friend to take action shots of him actually being born so I could make a montage to add to the Birth Montage thread on here (under labour and birth section). Proof an induction can be everything you want it too, an amazing experience!
Be warned it has full on baby flying out shots so if you dont want to see my downstairs in all its birthing glory (er gory? lol) dont look.
BBL for an update, have to pick up my new double pram and see the MCHN.

Must have been the night for it. Abbey finally went to bed around 11 pm but she slept until 5 am, so I'm not complaining. Trying to get her back to sleep now so I can go for a shower.
DP took Noah and Tehya for a drive last night, when he got back at 9pm I could hear crying before I opened the door. Noah was bawling saying he felt like he was going to spew and next comes Tehya in, happy as but covered in spew !! She gets car sick and he said that the car was too hot. Bathed Tehya and washed the spew out of her hair. Ahh so nice. LOL.
Abbey is the only one bathed and dressed so far. Waiting for her to go back to sleep so I can jump in for a shower.
Nic, exercise hey...... Umm does walking around the shopping centre count ;) That's as close as I get.
ETA, ohh Anna, I will have to have a look. My montage has shots like that too. :D

Good morning ladies
Well had a terrible night with my son and daughter (Olivia) she just would not sette tried everything, she was awake from 10.30am to 10.30pm with only cap naps in between longest was 1 hr long.... Doesn't help when the temp reaches way over 45 degrees and was still in the high 30's well into night.. That is the rreason my son wouldn't go to bed... I only had a few hours asleep last night but suprising I am ok this morning Olivia was making the most noises while sleeping in my bed this morning that I couldn't sleep so I got up and did some house work, it's amazing how the little things you get done make a huge difference in regards to housework ... Now Olivia is fed I am just browsing the et and she did the most smelliest fart just them mn oh man her next pooh is just going be gross...
Ok now I Have older daughter harassing me joy oh joy...
My bleeding has finally stoppped after 3 weeks 1 day not that I was keeping count :D:lol:
-
Alicia: I am so glad the infants friend is working for you, and wahoo on 5 hours straight. I wish my Olivia would have that routine.. not that I should complain but 12 till 5 would suit me so well with the boys...
Anna: Great montage..
Trish: sure does :) Olivia wouldn't settle so no exercising for me.. Oh well as soon as she went to sleep I power cleaned for 20 minutes so thats it for me  Simon making me a yum coffee. god what would I do without my coffee machine hee hee
Teena: I think the heat is having lots to do with all the babies being difficult as well as the older ones.. It is cooler here today and raining and Olivia is asleep aahh..
We have an appointment at 1 to get her soft spot checked. I am sure it is all fine but I am the workds biggest worry wart
