Liz, I think after Noah and then Tehya, who STILL doesn't sleep all night I deserve to have Abbey be a good sleeper. Still, it's only early days. All that could change.
Your poor boobs will get a rest one day hun. Are you planning on more babies ?

vic (QueenMab) your ticker pic is great, you look so pleased with yourself. LOL on living in switzerland. I'm so relieved to have no relly's around now my mums gone home. we are sending a bunch of photos to jakarta and doing a few phone calls (MIL is illiterate and cant do email or text messages)
dayl/bindy- wasn't it cold last night in bris? i got up and put extra layers on everyone, but you guys think it was hot????? my body is all messed up, i keep waking in a pool of sweat, drenching the bedding, and really feeling the cold too. but if i'm getting it wrong i culd be overheating everyone.
thanx everyone on the tummy exercise help. think i'll wait 4 more wks. at least for a while longer i have an excuse 4 my little pot belly, and am waering it proud!
the boys colds have worsened. a lot of snot for a nose so small - and the colour - bright yellow!
Trish - yeah, I want another one, altho not sure I can go through the terrible 2's three times! And DS isn't even 2 yet! LMAO. I just hope Tallon has weaned by the time I'm pregnant with the next one.. gosh - feeding 2 through a pg and then feeding 3? I don't think so LOL.
Hun you will have to grow an extra boob so you feed them all at once. OR, get DH in on it. PMSL.
Oh and the terrible 2's start at around 18 - 20 months and go until..... ummm I'll tell you when my 16 year old grows out of them !!
Trish: We saw the sun for the first time in days yesterday and we all got sunburnt cus we went out for the day. I was only in the sun for a maximum of 30 mins and yet I still got burnt, I guess you forget how easy it is to burn.. (olivia didn't get burnt btw)
Liz: I have a sling it is like a HAB its um... comfy carrier?? or something like that... anyways Olivia screams her head off now when I put her in it.. I wish she still liked it as it is pretty comfy and would have made walking along the beach easier yesterday lol.. She is sound asleep now
We had pancakes for breaky and was so nice to cook and then eat then clean up afterwards without worrying about Missy... Poor Little bugger has a tummy ache again. I don't want to give any IF just yet after her reaction to the rotavisur vac I want her tummy to have noting but BM for a few days...
Dayl, how was your aunty's 50th and your first big outing? Hope you had a good time.
Queen, I know what you mean about relatives! My MIL was calling before she came around but yesterday she turned up when my DP was out food shopping and I was annoyed because I was so tired. I really must keep the door shut and put a darn sign on the door that we're sleeping!
Haroula, I agree with Liz, all that feeding through the day is unreal so Bub sleeps through at night! I love the pics of Chrissie BTW.
Boo, poor Jye with his wind :( Madeleine gets a little scream up now and again because of the wind and I feel so helpless. I have her on Infacol...but my DP bought Infants Friend yesterday. Ok, what's with that stuff? The chemist gave him a lecture about it as if it were poison! Can anyone clarify this issue?
Ali, love the pics!
Aussienic, glad Olivia has been good, with the sling...my Madeleine dislikes being in hers too sometimes, I think it's because it's so warm at the moment, maybe when it cools down she'll enjoy being in it more, hopefully!
Shellbelle, my DP is a station officer in the fire brigade! He's been in there for 12 years and really enjoys it. Congrats to your DF, it's awesome being with a firey, their shifts are great (not all FB wives agree). He works 2 days on, 2 nights on and has 4 days off...it's great to have him around so much!
Trish, poor Abbey having an ear infection - I hope she gets better soon.
Xtml, yes it was cool in Bris last night, it's strange weather we're having, it's warm today!
I am going good except for a slightly painful right breast near my aerola, I hope it's not mastitis! It's painful to touch anyway. Will keep an eye on it.
Bub is doing well, awoke at 2am this morning and was hard to get her back to sleep so I'm really tired today but I will try and have a sleep this afternoon when she goes down at some stage!
Oh I have uploaded some pics too of Madeleine!
Have a great day everyone.
Love Bindy xx
Bindy.. the sling I have is a mesh one so it is really suited for summer. I think she is used to being in it asleep and she wasn't ready for sleep the last few times I was going to use it.. I hav a double pram but it was going to make my walk to and from school easier if she decided she wanted to be held.. Oh well.. 9 days to get her used to it again
Loved your pics by the way.. gorgeous :) and keep a good eye on your booby.. Mastitis is not fun... if it hasn't eased by this afternoon try and see someone..
Hi Aussienic, thanks for that, will keep an eye on it. It was not as sore when I expressed half hour ago. Let's hope it goes away
As for sling, it's good that you have a summer one. Mine is not summer friendly so I might just have to wait until the humid weather goes away :(
Have you used Infants Friend? I need some advice on it as the chemist was asking a lot of questions when she sold it to my DP yesterday. She said to him "who recommended this?" and was a bit short with him so it made us feel like it's bad for Bubs!
Infants friend is off the shelf, so I wouldn't think they'd ask too many questions. I guess coz she's only 2 weeks old, perhaps check that it's ok for under 1 month. Different wind drops have different age restrictions.
Hi Liz, hmmm...yeah unsure why she asked so many questions! It's safe to use though isn't it? It hasn't got any nasties in it?
I dunno - I ended up getting infacol LOL. I would think they're all pretty similar. Perhaps they're just making sure you're not going to pour it down her throat as a cure-all. Coz their little tummies can be sensitive I spose - only designed to drink milk at this stage! :)
OMG you guys can talk!! Typing one handed whilst feeding so no personals sorry - but have a question for Nic re: the comfy carry...
I have one of those too, and Euan hated it at first because I had him lying down in it, but then I tried him sitting up in it - so that his legs are sticking out the bottom and the bottom roll is just under his bum and the top roll tightened to support his head/neck- and he loves it!! He loves being upright and hates being carried lying down unless he's already asleep so maybe Olivia might be the same...? (Or you might already be doing that in which case ignore me)...
I'm back after a nappy change... Well, after a couple of good days we've had a fairly ordinary last couple of days. Munchkin was in such a strop all day yesterday - nothing was working to settle him for long. I think that he had wind pain but it was not really helped by IF and he wouldn't settle for longer than 15 - 20 minutes at any point in the day before screaming. Took three attempts to get him to go to sleep last night - finally got him down at 2:00am (after waking up for a monster poo at 12:30!!), then he was up again at 6:45, down at 8:00, then up again at 9:00, then down at 10:00, then up again at 11:00, and now has decided that he doesn't want any sleep. Poor DP looked buggered when he left for work - he had to catch a taxi because I was too knackered to drive him. He's been farting like you would not believe all morning and I think it kept waking him up.
Oh, and the face he makes when I give him IF - it is priceless. He screws his little face up and absolutely hates it. (Mean, mean mummy!!).
I now have him in his cot, looking wonderingly at his mobile. It's a great babysitter, but I should do something useful like make lunch because the distraction won't last forever!
Hope everyone has a day of happy smiley babies and well behaved children. (We can dream, can't we!).
Bindy: I wonder why they asked so many questions? I use it and have used it for all 4 of my kids. If you google it there is a website on it.. don't let tem make you feel bad.. I would have just said It was recommended to me by another mum and my baby is in pain from trapped wind and this is the nice safe way to help with it then smiled sweetly. Infants Friend is suitable from birth.. hope it helps
Suse: Are you able to show me a pic of how to use it in the uprigt position.. I can't work it out  i sould go check out te website again.. and try follow from there..
and as for the IF and uck taste. I express some milk and suck it into the dropper as well and Olivia just drinks it down wit no hassle anymore.
Well I had a mini doze this morning while Olivia was.. the boys were all playing in the front room while I lay on the lounge floor with Missy. She is now sound asleep but not me.. inlaws have been here for last hour and a half **nic faints** they rarely visit and even rarer to visit when simon is at work.. but FIl is on days off and he hasn't seen the kids in ages so he usually visits to see them..MIL well..... enoug said
Well time to put my roast pork in for dinner. mmm I can feel my eyes closing.. boy it is going to be one loooong afternoon
Nic - if you google babyrock and go to the breeze range photos page, the very last one (the cherry with black mesh) shows the way that I've been carrying him. I just hold him against my chest with my right arm under his bum, then hook the sling over my head with the pad on my left shoulder, and wriggle it under his bum. So rather than putting the sling on first then putting the baby in it (which is just a pain and I always feel like I'm going to drop him), I do it the other way round - I can get it into position much quicker and easier and he doesn't seem to mind it as much. The company is based just up the road from me so I'm going to ask if I can go in and get a few tips on BFing with it...
Ta for the tip on putting a bit of BM in with the IF - I'll give it a shot!
Hope you get an early night tonight and have a lovely roast! Mmmmm. Haven't had a roast for yonks - it's too darn hot!
Hi Girls, I have now posted my birth story on BB - sorry it took me so long to type it!
Thanks Nic regarding IF - yeah I am not sure why they asked so many questions. But anyway, I am using it now and again as I still have Infacol but I just think IF works a bit better.
Suse, I had to laugh at your post. Madeleine's little face is pretty funny too when I give her IF but she seems to like the taste of Infacol.
I went and googled it just after I posted and if Olivia is happy this afternoon I will give it a go.. She is sort of stirring now..
Hi everyone, Does anyone still have the line on there stomachs from pregnancy? Wen is it supposed to go away? i still have mine.. along with all the other lovely preggy side effects lol.
