I have another toddler who likes to harrass the kid in the swing. Constantly leans in it and tries to pick him up. I get sick of hearing the words 'Jett NO' sometimes.
Im hoping today is a better day but by the sounds Ripley is making Im betting its not. Geez if I had a cool swing that was motorised and made fun noises Id be in it everyday without complaint *sigh*
Crud be back later, baby is crying and brother is harrassing!

oh yeah buzzie, i have slight line from my navel up. i kinda like it. i never got a linea nigra (isthatright?) when i was pg with olly, so this time it snuck up on me in the last few weeks and has stayed. and its not quite straight!
anna, sorry to hear u are having a crap day, it will pass. maybe it's just a crap moment in a day that is otherwise ok, it just feels like forever. hard to keep perpective when we're sleep deprived.
oh no BekZ, that sounds like a really hard gig with Sara demanding attention. I think i'd rather clean houses than be in the middle of that emotional twister. i wouldn't know what to do - so far my 2 yo is fine with everything to do with his baby brother, but it's only been a few weeks, it could turn bad yet. i'll keep an eye out for solutions in the book i'm reading "science of parenting" which was recommended on BB. i got it from the library and it's been great so far for gettting my head around where my toddler is at.
rory2 - lol on dh kid wrangling. love the men in our lives!!! i was grumpy at mine ystdy for being in a football watching trance and therefore not wiping snotty noses/not backing up my gentle discipline etc... and i took heaps of teasing to get my smile back, but i realised i was being really sensitive and he's had to make a big effort to smooth things out with me, which i appreciate. a bit more sleep and daily exercise helps so much, and is so hard to get.
trish-lol at tehya driving you nuts. my neighbours offered to loan me one of those swings/electric rockers but i am afraid olly will break it! it'd be SO tempting to mess with it, if i was him. Mylo has an old fashioned wire n mesh bouncer that makes him portable and comfortable (thanks ebay). olly does 4 am wakeups too, i can coax him back to bed a few times, but not for long, so the day starts early for me. no wonder i am in bed by 10- such a nanna.

I discovered the joys of the infant swing today - Ollie has been in it for over an hour now, swinging away. Flynn likes to lean on it too and tries to kiss him
Oh all these poor babies and their wind! Ollie hasn't pooed since last Tuedsay :(

Aww Poor Ollie, Rory. How does a little baby store it up for so long. Abbey poos so many times a day. Sometimes its only a skid mark and others there are huge poos. And you can bet that huge poo is in a cloth nappy.
Xtml, I hope Tehya doesn't break this swing. I only got it last week and plan to re sell it when Abbey is finished with it. I crash out so early on the lounge most nights. I'm a nana too hun. It's all good. We need our sleep.

Man you girls can chat!
Buzzie, my line on my tummy hasn't disappeared either!
Anna, sorry to hear you are having breastfeeding issues. I was too and my nipples were way too sore so I've been expressing and formula feeding and they are much better, might put Madeleine back on booby to see how I go. I was literally in tears because she wanted to be fed all the time and my nipples were just NOT HEALING!
Queen, glad you are on IF...I give Madeleine Infacol and IF alternatively BUT I think I might just stick with IF as it works better I think. Unsure what the chemist was on about! Also, how much is everyone giving their Bubs? I think 5 drops is 0.5mL but how often do you give it to them? Before each feed?
Roryrory, awesome about your DP going into fire brigade too. Mine has been in there for years and enjoys it. It's why I got induced BTW!! He would have been working on the Friday/Saturday night (I was induced on Wednesday) and my DP can't be replaced as he's in charge! Even though the fire brigade is good in so many ways, you can't just leave halfway through a shift! Ah the joys of emergency services!
My little one is sleeping in her bouncer, she's always in there!! Loves the vibration. She woke at 11pm, 3am and 7am for feeds...at least they were 4 hourly! However, after each feed, she didn't settle for an hour :( I hope it gets better down the track! I'm so tired today!
Off to hang out some washing, I feel awful leaving her in the house whilst I do this. Does anyone else feel like that or am I just being stupid?
